January 26, 2021 (Week 3, Day 22): Today ended up being an unexpectedly big day. This morning when I checked on the plants, they'd grown another 1.5" over the last 24 hours. They're basically growing out of control at this point. Every plant had a fully developed sixth node that was beginning to unfurl. So I decided to water the plants with 1000ml + 4ml pH Perfect Bloom + 4ml pH Perfect Grow + 1.5ml Cal-Mag Plus + 5 drops of pH down (6.5 pH solution). After that I took the plants out from the tent and began the topping process. I was pretty nervous about getting the snip in the right spot, but I think I've done it correctly. I topped each plant at the third node, then I cleaned all the growth below the node. After that I used rubber-coated garden wire to tie the growth sites to the fan leaves to promote lateral growth. Unknown 2 is definitely the runt of the group and my manipulation of the plant really pissed it off and it started to go kind of limp, so I decided to add a little extra support to the plant until it gets a bit hardier. I think it will take several days for it to recover from this process. The other plants however seem very strong and took the topping like a couple of champions. Gelato 1 and Unknown 1 seem to have great genetics and they haven't skipped a beat since germination. I decided to ditch Unknown 2's top but took clones of the other two plants. This process is flying by so far. Fingers crossed the plants continue to thrive even after my butchering. I've adjusted the humidity in the tent so were now averaging 65% rH and 77℉. Hopefully no other news today! January 27, 2021 (Week 3, Day 23): 24-hours post-top and all the plants have perked back up and I am already seeing growth from the two nodes I left on each plant. I added simple binder clips to the outside of my pot and redid the training on Unknown 2. Since topping, Unknown 2 went from pissed off to happier than ever. However, I have finally run into my first problem. The leaves on all three plants are starting to blotch. I touched one of the blotchy spots and it was crisp and began to crack. Soil is still moist from the watering yesterday. Other than irregular spots, I can't seem to find anything else wrong with the plants. I have a Vivosun pH meter which I've heard can be junk - so I am kind of suspecting my pH is too low. But I'm going to post up a grow question today to get a couple of other opinions. Plants still seem really healthy even with these blotchy patches on their leaves. Averaging 65% rH and 78℉. *Update: The damage on the leaves of the plants started to progress - so instead of waiting around watching my plants get crunchy, I decided to take action. I just flushed all three plants with 4 liters (1 gallon) each of filtered water pH'd to ~6.0. I am getting runoff of around ~6.5-6.6 which tells me the soil is too basic or alkaline. I had read this soil I am using is acidic, so I was feeding with a ~6.5pH solution. From now on I will feed with a ~6.0pH solution instead in an attempt to avoid these pH fluctuations. Before flushing with pH'd water, I tested the soil and all were sitting around ~7.1-7.2 pH. Obviously too high. Got tons of runoff by flushing. Here's to hoping we'll see a difference in leaf texture and color in the next 24-48 hours. This pH problem reared its head at an ugly time since I just decided to top the plants. I think I'll be sure to water with 10-20% runoff from now on so I can keep an eye on the pH regularly. January 28, 2021 (Week 3, Day 24): The last 24 hours were a little scary. As a new grower I wasn't really sure what to expect, and this was my first major challenge. All three plants are now scarred on the main fan leaves due to my inexperience. Gelato 1 looks like it took the worst of it. After flushing yesterday I noticed the progression of the leaf damage stopped almost immediately. Then the leaves began to fill in the crunchy green spots with bright orange around the edges with brown in the middle. It was really strange to watch. The leaves on all the plants are supple, they're just striped with ugly orange and brown scars. It also seems like even with the problems, the plants are continuing to thrive and grow at a surprising rate. Even with the fluctuation in pH and the flush I didn't see drooping from any of the plants. So they seem healthy despite their appearance. In fact, Unknown 1's fan leaves are so happy I've had to pin them down as I was getting too much vertical growth from the cola tips. I think I may have flushed at just the right time. I've never seen something progress on a plant so quickly before. The new growth on the plants seems perfectly healthy without any mottling or spotting. The second node of each growth tip on each plant is starting to unfurl already. All the stems are fattening up as well. It was the first night of 20/4 lighting schedule. Temperature dipped to 70℉ with the light off, but the humidity stayed constant. Average of 65% rH and 75℉. Hopefully we'll continue to see good progress with the new growth over the next several days. Once I top the second set of growth tips I'll most likely clip these ugly fan leaves so they'll stop taunting my inexperience every time I open my tent. 💀 January 29, 2021 (Week 3, Day 25): Seems like the plants are back to growing extremely fast. The scars are getting brighter and the brown parts in the middle have went from crispy to semi-supple. The new growth is bright green and even in color. I had to retrain every plant this morning to keep vertical growth from the growth sites tied against the fan leaf stem. I had to use a second set of ties to tie the second node down. So far my training seems to be working. All plants are working on their third nodes on both growth stems. I'll top once the fourth node begins to develop. The medium is still very moist from the flush two days ago. I don't anticipate having to water for two or three more days. I want the medium to dry out almost completely before I water again. I'll continue with light nutrients - but I'll make sure to run my pH down to 6.0 and I'll also be upping the feedings to 2.5-3l per plant to attain some testable runoff. My new Aperta pH meter showed up yesterday, so I hope to have more accurate readings going forward. Averaging 65% rH and 76℉. Nothing else for today. January 30, 2021 (Week 3, Day 26): Growth sites are stretching nicely along the fan leaf stem. Retrained in a few areas. Noticing slight blotching on Unknown 1's growth. Also seems very dark green with slight burn and dropping at the tips. Conducted soil slurry test and came back around ~6.8 pH. I am suspecting slight nitrogen excess. PPM was very high for this stage at around 1200. Next watering I will skip nutrients as I think the roots are beginning to expand through the pots extensively and may have access to too much nitrogen. Growth is still looking nice and fast. Plants are stretching a bit more with the 4 hours of darkness per night. Averaging 65% rH and 76℉. January 31, 2021 (Week 3, Day 27): The nodes on the main stem of every plant are beginning to swell considerably. Growth sites on all three plants are beginning to unfurl their third node. The nutrient burn on Unknown 1 isn't getting any better, but it also doesn't seem to be progressing. I'm hoping it's just a very slight excess, as it doesn't appear to be slowing down growth or causing any major issues. Gelato 1 and Unknown 2 are thriving and new growth looks perfect. I think the genetics on Unknown 1 may be a little more sensitive to nutrients. Unfortunately since I don't know what the plants are, it has made researching strain tips kind of difficult, so I've been treating every plant the same. The Gelato seems the healthiest of the three plants and is growing vigorously. Because of the training it's starting to look like a salad. I'll go for vertical growth after I perform the second topping. I don't plan on having these plants any taller than about 3 feet, so I anticipate having to switch to flower around week 6 or 7. If the growth keeps up, maybe even sooner. I retrained all the plants today and pinned down Unknown 1's fan leaves to encourage horizontal growth. The cola stems are getting huge and I was able to take off my first set of training braces. I also switched Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 in the tent to promote even growth. Medium is still moist from the flush several days ago. I'll water in a day or two. Averaging 65% rH and 75℉. February 1, 2021 (Week 3, Day 28): Medium was pretty dry this morning. Watered 6.0 pH 2 liters per plant with 2.5ml/l Cal-Mag + pH Down and without other nutrients. I think I'll hold off until flower to give nutrients to the plant again. I was getting very high PPM readouts during my flush, so I think the plants have plenty of food to get through the next three weeks. Just giving a small Cal-Mag supplement each feeding. Got about 10% runoff per plant. Runoff sitting around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Still pretty high, but I am hoping continually watering with a 6.0 pH solution will slowly lower the pH of the root-zone. Plants are growing quickly and I had to pin down the third node on each stem today. All of them are looking more like a salad every day. Fourth node is almost completely out - I'll wait for it to unfurl and top either tomorrow or the next day. Plants are looking good. Unknown 1 still looks to have a slight nitrogen toxicity, but doesn't seem to be affecting the plant's health much. Averaging 65% rH and 77℉ Nothing else to report. Looking forward to next week - the second and last topping will happen in the next few days. After the stems grow horizontally enough I'll switch to vertical growth. I'll aim for about 14" tall and then switch over to flower. Hoping that will be around week 6. Just picked up some awesome flowering powder I am excited to try in a few weeks. Topped the girls on the outside branches to encourage some more growth in the middle, I think this may have stunned them a little bit. Ive also noticed some issues with some of the top leaves. Pictures will show. Im watering 5l per plant every other day with ph at 5.7-5.9.

Treated the girls to a new grow light Friday, the ACInfinity EVO4. Set at 18" and 60% to start. So far so good, but OC looked a little droopy Saturday morning. Raised light to about 19" while I had my coffee. Fed them both 3 litres of water with 2ml per litre of Remo veg schedule Friday evening and topped OC to help keep canopy even. For the second time I had little to no runoff, even after increasing the water by 1 litre. More next time I guess. My original plan was to flip to 12-12 when the lights come on tonight, but I think I'll give them a few days under this new light to get their groove on and raise the power of the light by 10 each day and drop it a little closer to the 18 " AC Infinity recommends until I'm at 100% and 18" then prune and flip. I think I've got room to stretch. Plants are at 11-12" tall from the Promix, so I can definitely let them veg for another week. Raised the light back to 24 inches after my coffee, still at 60%. Saturday morning I fed about a litre of straight RO water to both and Saturday night I cleaned up a dozen or so fan leaves that were shading bud sites. Sunday OC still looks a little droopy, but much better. Sunday morning lowered light to 22" and powered at 70% with a 1 hour sunset sunrise. Fed them Monday night until runoff and took 6 litres at 2ml/l about a litre and a half came back out. Next time I'll give them 5 litres. Been trying to dial in this new light, plus I've went down the light meter rabbit hole on YouTube.....so according to Photone everything seems to be in check with the light at 70% at 24". AC infinity must have a more light tolerant stain in their test labs because full power at 18" would have my girls chicken fried in no time. Tuesday morning they both looked great, temps and humidity and light and nutes all seem to be pulling in the same direction. Plants are about 12&13 inches tall Likely flip them Thursday evening 😁😨😰 Wednesday morning gave them a small haircut of some leaves blocking budsites, and a bit of plant yoga bendiness and gentle restraints to let the light into the heart of the plants. So on page to flip tomorrow evening. Light is averaging 700 micromoles per second.

Hello friends of growdiaries. As you can see, the jungle is very difficult to manage. Some tops of plants exceed the lamp, and also bending to extreme levels. In two weeks and half maximum I will start the harvest, the tops bloom that a wonder. I must admit that Apart from the lack of time I underestimated the power of nutrients. See you soon

March 15- 22nd: Weather was sunny and overcast throughout the week causing minor stress to 3BOG. Overall she stood strong and next watering cycle I plan to use Atami Bloombastic to produce her bigger yields and more aroma/ terpenes. No special techniques. Still windowsill grown.

11/30: I harvested the first 6 today, flushed 5 more for the second time, and fed everybody else for the last time. I washed all the branches using the 4-step method ascribed by Doc Bud at High Times/420magazine and many other notable cannabis connoisseurs, with slight modifications: 4 x big plastic totes/bins 8 x ounces of 12% hydrogen peroxide (or 32 ounces of 3%) 2 x cups of concentrated lemon juice 2 x cups of baking soda 10 x gallons of water in each bin Unless your tap water stinks, you're safe to use tap water for the procedure, but I used an inline carbon hose filter to fill my buckets. Bin #1 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the hydrogen peroxide Bin #2 - 10 gallons of water mixed with the lemon juice and baking soda Bin #3 - 10 gallons of water as hot tap water Bin #4 - 10 gallons of cold tap water I was mainly concerned about removing as much lint and cat/dog hair as possible, but also rinsing off any residue left from all the various foliar applications of humic/fulvic acid, kelp, axiom, big bloom, and tiger bloom I did. First, I put my leaf blower on low speed and blasted my plants thoroughly, one at a time, replicating 50-60mph winds for about 10 seconds and watched as a whirlwind of debris and hair flew out the back door. Bud-washing: Pluck any necrotic plant material and any old fan leaves off while they're still on the plant. Then, take a handful of branches and submerge them in Bin #1 for about 30 seconds, agitating it, removing from water, submerging again, agitating, etc...then remove it and let it drip out for a few seconds...then repeat the process with Bins #2-4. Let it drip dry overnight with a little bit of airflow, then dry as you normally would...baskets, boxes, etc.. I hadn't watered these plants in a few days, so they were almost in draught, but after doing this procedure, they were fully hydrated(turgid) and seemed to have brighter colors than before. Nice!😍 12/1: The bottom part of the closet seems empty with only 9 plants in there.. 😟 I cut the harvested plants up and put them into drying baskets in the top of my closet with a small oscillating fan on. I've got the temperature fluctuating between 68f and 75f and the RH is staying between 48% and 52%. To do that, I had to take down the small light in the top of the closet to fit the drying baskets up there. So, I moved the 3 shorter plants still up there down to the bottom and put them on top of buckets. Now the bottom of the closet looks full again!😃 I'm anxious to finish up this grow so I can get busy growing the Fastbuds Fast Flowering Photo Testers!!! When I harvest the next 5, I'll flush the remaining plants really well and that will be all the flushing they'll get..I'll let them dry back out for a few days and harvest them. I've got to make some minor improvements to the garden (adding UV, blue and red/far red booster panels and intake fans) That should put me on track to start germinating them by mid-December if all goes well. 12/3: ...early a.m... The harvested plants are already dry!?!?? And have excellent texture??? Wow..bud washing is for real..roughly 48 hours after I hung them to drip dry, and 40 hours after I put them in baskets in 50% RH/70f conditions with moderate airflow...usually takes 4 or 5 days to get a good slow-dry in the same conditions, so I'm convinced that this must be attributed to the bud-washing procedure. I'm sold! Here's the talley so far: plant #1 - 115g (plus 13g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #2 - 108g (plus 18g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] plant #3 - 119g (plus 15g larf) - C4ndycaine [Candy Cane x C4] plant #4 -  92g (plus 6g larf) - Candy Cane [F2] - the smallest plant in the main area plant #5 - 112g (plus 22g larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] plant #6 -  75g (no larf) - Candesia [Candy Cane x Amnesia] - grown in upper area under 200w ...afternoon: I flushed 6 of the last 7 plants for the first time today and harvested 4 more of them. I washed them and hung them to dry.....my dripping wet bathing beauties!😍

Así es como empezamos la tercera semana,seguimos con humedad alta pero la vamos controlando.. Estos días da buen tiempo la humedad en la calle será mucho más baja así podré meter aire sin tanta humedad.. De momento todo bien en el cultivo ningún problema hasta la fecha. Ya podéis ver,y comentar sobre algo que veáis que yo no! Como dicen! Ven veinte ojos mejor que dos! 🖖 Día 12 Último fungicida prevención mutritis,hongos humedad. Primer riego foliar hormonas producción de flores. 🌹 Día 13 Nada en especial solo observar si veo algún cambio tras las hormonas,aún no veo grandes observaciones fuera de lo natural del paso de los días. En el día de mañana por lo que me recomendó el fabricante se verán los resultados a la vista! Comentar que seguimos con la iluminación al 100x100 de capacidad Marshydro sp3000 x2 Hero led Ignator t720 Yxo led 60w ir+un espectro completo En la siguiente semana me llega el nuevo driver de philips para poder conectar la lámpara de IR que pude adquirir a Yxo nuevamente! Lampara led espectro completo + IR 70w . Me vendrá muy bien para el pequeño espacio de la puerta que necesita más iluminación para poder desarrollar bien esas dos plantas,de la entrada. La humedad fue cosa del pasado. Evite el uso de desumificador eléctrico añadiendo varios de sales,deciros que funcionan muy bien no dan un control exacto pero mantienen una humedad interior estable para todo el periodo de floración! 50% de humedad lo demuestra! Hoy añadi un poco más de sustrato. 110 litros exactamente sobre la cama de cultivo que tenía de topcrop con humus de lombriz,tierra diatomeas y alimentada con npk. Después de eso tengo en mi cama de cultivo 810 litros de sustrato para mis 44haze. 💐 Saludos Día 14 Anulado el intractor,ya que el propio extractor mete aire fresco por las rendijas de ventilación.. En lo largo de la noche iré viendo el resultado en datos.. Ya coloque los soportes para la nueva iluminación que en estos días llega su driver de sustitución E visto que algunas plantas en estos dos días están en 67-70cm.. Ya colocado el sistema de riego para evitar más pisadas en el cultivo ya que algunas se realentizaron por pisar encima de sus raíces.. Le e metido una pequeña poda de bajos para airear más la zonas bajas del cultivo. Pequeño riego de folacion con remedio de agua azúcar para dos que estaban más estresadas. Día 15 Hoy era día de regar pero el sustrato aún parece húmedo en gran proporción aplazare el riego. Día 16 Hoy me acerqué a ver las niñas en caso de que necesitaran algo.. Se ve todo correcto parece que no tienen mucha sed.. llevamos todo el día de alta humedad y lluvia en el exterior.. Las dejaré hoy sin riego también. El sustrato está bien alimentado. Mañana seguramente se presente el armario con una plantación pidiendo agua a gritos!! Jejeje.. así comerán con más ganas!,veremos qué tal.. Dia 17 Perfecto,las plantas se han mantenido muy bien para estar el sustrato ,prácticamente casi seco.. Se le aplicaron 32litros a la cama de sustrato con el riego de goteo Y la humedad se ha mantenido bastante bien . Una vez termine el riego la temperatura en el armario cayó considerablemente,llegando este a 16 grados. Una vez se cierra todo vuelve a sus parámetros controlados de 23/24 grados. Día 18 Hoy es el quinto día de la tercera semana,aplique el riego ayer en proporción de 850ml por planta. La humedad subió por unas horas a 62% Después de las 24 horas del riego el área se encuentra en un 55%.. esta noche llegará a el valor determinado de 48/50 Las plantas están desarrollando las formaciones de flores muy rápido! En unas semanas veremos!,algunas pequeñas en este último riego del día 17,sufrieron un poco más debido a la subida de la ec . Esta vez trabajamos con 1200 totales. Que a muchas le sentaron fenomenal pero a otras cinco no tanto..pero es lo que tiene el riego por goteo..

day 73 I was not ready for all this! 🤣🤣 they literally exploded and I started seeing purple on these buds I had to tie them up so the weight of the flowers didn't break the branches. compared to El Patron that I also have in my tent, Purple is much fatter and shorter. they have a very sweet scent and I can't wait to taste it, but alas I will go there a little longer. I have to say that 6 photoperiods are too many for my 1m x 1m x 2m tent. in addition to this I have noticed that they are very hungry. like me and give me some advice. thanks for stopping by, have a nice day and happy cultivation 💜🌳💜🌳💜🌳💜🌳

11/24: Looks like the Emerson Effect/14 hour photoperiod is working...stretching has commenced.👍 11/25: Had to raise the lights 5 inches today. The big Sucrose Overdose and a Zkittlez are really stretching. I'm using platforms of varying heights for the shorter plants to keep the canopy level. 11/27: Raised the lights another 5 inches and fed today. 11/28: Raised the lights another couple inches this morning...now, I'm thinking I should have topped them...that's a foot in about 3 days...doh!😏 They're already starting to show signs of budding up, so I'll just have to do some supercropping and tie down the taller mains. 11/29: Raised the lights a couple more inches and supercropped the tallest Sucrose Overdose.
