16.4.25: I have retied the fabric ties again, as they're growing like crazy. Trying to open up the plant, to grow out as well as up. This will also create new colas. At this stage, I'm trying not to over fertilise like I did with the last grow. Focusing on Cal-Mag amino acids and Mega Crop Part A. The medium is my custom super soil, which is already fertilised with Ecothrive dry amendments. So I could just add water. However, as we've already run into deficiency, that would be careless. I find it easy to keep an eye on the plants and carefully inspect them daily to act quickly when issues arise. Learning how to determine the issue is what I'm still learning, which is the hard part 😅 It's all fun though, and I'm really enjoying this grow with all the toppings and FIMs. So far so good! 21.4.25: Hope everyone had a great 420! Northern lights is absolutely beautiful, great structure. I'm determining when to relax the LST as we are now in the beginning of week 3 flower. I do have height. However, I'd like to keep it reasonable. You never know when they will stop growing. I'm not really adjusting any ties since the last time, but I have added an LST clips as one of the middle tops was much talker than the others. I am trying very hard to exercise some much necessary self restraint here! 😅 it is becoming increasingly difficult! I have also noticed that there are signs of Nitrogen excess. Maybe 2 leaves have very thin overlapping blades. Instead of Mega Crop Part A and Cal-Mag amino acids, I will use Bud explosion PK booster with the Cal-Mag. This will make the N5 the only Nitrogen being given. It still may be too much, but will monitor closely to see the effect this change will make, if any. Balancing the nutrients is very important for me to learn, and it's going to be an ongoing process. I watered today with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients: ♡ 1/2 Tsp of Bud Explosion PK booster by Greenleaf nutrients ♡ 5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients 23.4.25: Plant seemed to be drinking heavily, so I watered again with 3 litres of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.3 with;- ♡ 2.5ml Cal-Mag amino acids by Xpert Nutrients, and ♡ Ecothrive Biosys 1/8 tsp. I removed the plant ties and retied the plant after watering. Less ties are necessary as the plant has moulded and stayed in that structure. 25.4.25: Northern Lights was much overdue for a retie of the fabric ties. After this session of LST, the plant is absolutely huge. I really could easily fill the tent with just her. The fact that this plant could fill out a 4ft² space absolutely proves that autoflowering strains can outdo photoperiods. seems like i put too much K on this time, guess it was not enough time between because overall temps fell and i didnt take that into consideration. IF your soil temp is lower, then bacteria will slow down taking a longer time to break the minerals down. Going to back off on all feedings for at least a week.

First timer grower with no green thumb. Learning as I go doing thorough research. The environment is hard to control in my shed, as my humidity and temperature are fluctuating more than is required within the range of +/-10 degrees. My next girl will definitely be done inside. Day 4 might have stunted its growth due to increasing temperatures into the high 30's. Day 6 slight yellow tint on the outer edge of the leaves Total growth for both girls in the first week is 1.5 inches. All in all, considering the condition they are under, I think they are looking pretty good.

We had a little overdose that defected some leaves on left plant, but not too much. We regarded this and previous week as pre-blossom, so definitely will change the composition of the additives next week.

Day 42 Shes really starting to pack on the some size, shes going to be a great yielder i think. Have a new dehumidifer arriving next week which is needed right now.

She went into dark on Sunday Feb 23rd, day 77, and was harvested on February 25th, day 79 from her coming out of the medium First run from Mesphisto and extremely happy with everything. It has not been without incident and she has had her fussiness. Overall this girl liked her nutrients on the lighter side.......liked her pH on the lower side........she doesn't want much light intensity for the first 4 weeks! She started off really slow in germination but then took off around weeks 3 to 6 and shot way up! She takes up a lot of room and will not yield four ounces of bud idea but she has grown into a beautiful tree looking girl. I was timid about bending her main stem because of slow growing early on but running her again, I would bend the main stem and train that as well. She is going to be a good producer for this strain and she makes you smile looking at her.......what more can you ask for😍 The colour change was not expected and was a great surprise. Love purple leaves! Still have 4 seeds of this girl to run again. It appears to me that on my pack of seeds the right grow for me is a 3 gal pot, keep her under T5 light for most of veg, give the whole girl LST, keep her tied down tight if she starts to take off in week 3 and 4, keep her pH in the 5.5 to 5.8 range for veg and early flower. Expecting smaller, hard, fire nuggets from her based on how she grew. Will follow up with more as she progresses through drying. In the box with temp at 62 to 66 degrees and humidity at 60%. Branches are not that long so I am expecting dry should be around 7 to 10 days. 😍

Fastbuds Week 4 Original OG Kush Auto The 3 of these are staying on the shorter/bushier side. All in all showing amazing growth, good node spacing, and a nice rich shade of green while showing no issue of nute burn. I've given only water up to this point so around week 4 I like to give them a good feeding of a molasses tea (1tsp of molasses/per gallon of water) is what I do and they seem to enjoy it. Its been an amazing week, now i can understand why Carl Linneus was amazed about this miracle of blooming 🌸 Flowers are starting to grow everywhere, smell isn’t a big deal yet but my girls are just super beautiful 🤩 Colouring is homogeneous ☘️, only a single-couple of leaves showing a bit of nutrient deficiency/excess Critical is becoming literally twice the size of the cookies growing laterally but cookie’s branches are fatter, stronger and harder 💪🏼 Its been a long way but im proud of myself, very pleasant experience, its my first indoor grow and its almost scary how much i have learned ✍️🏼 LST shows an amazing structure and definitely not training your plant its the biggest mistake you can make 🏋️‍♂️ Unintentionally i applied a light cropping and the branches made the bulbs expected, don’t really know if it will show any gains

Great week all seemed to recover from transplant and lst! With new growth coming in No more signs of any knats either wich is awesome hopefully thats gone. Trying to keeping main branches at 10inches so i just lst them as needed DDS are way more resilient when it comes to training choco i dint have ti adjust much or many

hey all, let's do an experiment with budswelling and without ! i know it will not be exact science but i will give some insight if it works or not. i have got 2 C.banana and 2Royal Gorilla on 1 plant of each sort i have done my budswelling so we can compare both strains and the effect at the end of harvest to see if it makes a difference or not. in my believe it makes a difference but i can not prove it maybe this will give an idea if it makes a difference or not. also i have put an video on how i do the budswelling with scissors or with fingers. i prefer to do it with fingers it's a lot quicker then with scissors. You need to do this on al the buds not only on top. Some say you need to do this every week but i only do it after 3or 4 weeks into flowering.

Week 18 Day 120 (11/12/2020): I checked the girls’ trichomes and they are looking great. They are definitely getting more amber but still a small percentage. Also most of the pistils have browned now so I think they are about 2 weeks away from harvest now. At the next watering I will definitely start the flush! Day 121 (12/12/2020): The girls are looking good today but definitely starting to go more and more yellow. But I think during this time it is actually good news and I will be happy for those girls taking up all the nutrients left into the buds to make them extra tasty!🤤 Day 122 (13/12/2020)💧: Sooo this week is the start of the flush, just 1.5L of water. They are definitely ready for the flush and the buds are looking gorgeous! So gorgeous, in fact, that we cannot wait for the girls to be ready. So I cut some stems off to dry 🙊 We basically realised that they will not be ready and dry by Christmas (plus we would want to still cure them for min 2 weeks) and so I cut some of the smaller stems off to get some buds ready for Christmas celebrations 🎄 I only cut off 2 stems (one from each girl) of the buds that were at the bottom. I’ve put them into a box with holes in a room that has good airflow. I’ll also make sure to weigh them and add it to the final dry weight. They do look super amazing though and definitely quite purple Day 123 (14/12/2020): Didn’t have time today to take pics of the girls but I’m sure they are fine 😉 Day 124 (15/12/2020): I swear the buds look fatter and fatter every single day that I check them. Looking great, smelling great, and will definitely taste great! Day 125 (16/12/2020)💧: Second flush of the week, great stuff. Just gave them water and ripped off some dry leaves. There are some stems at the bottom that are still quite weak and cannot hold their weight. At this point it is too late to cut them off but I have definitely learned to lollipop for the future! Day 126 (17/12/2020): What a great end to the week and just 1 more week to go! Buds are looking astonishing at this point. And I swear they are getting more and more red even though I thought they wouldn’t. The trichomes are developing beautifully as well, definitely harvest-ready in just a few days! And next week, I will be watering twice and probably harvest after the whole week is finished, so on Christmas day! What a great present 🎁
