Finally time to chop off the second plant. Harvested just when about 5-10% of crystals have turned to ember color in an attempt to get the most upper effect out of this sativa. Noticed yet again some bugs on the leafs, luckily enough they only showed up in noticing numbers towards the end but ffs I'm getting tired of soil, especially after trying hydro. My main conclusion is that BioBizz soil is just not good to use as is, no matter what, it ends up not draining water well enough.

Two seeds popped out, first week. Not too much going on just being extra delicate with these.

3rd week of flowering looking great . No deficiencies , no pH problems. Did some defoliation and strategic leaf removal to let more light hit the buds.

'Not all those who wander are lost' What started out as an experiment, turned out to be an adventure of epic proportions. What hangs here behind me smells like the weed I knew in the 80's, skunky and full. But look at those buds. DAAAAANG.... These are the biggest buds Ive ever grown, I didn't know what darkness precisely did before.... now I know... My god after a few days they oooze cristal liquid from all its holes. They are greasy and sticky, full of weight and I think well hit the 300 grams per plant with this one, taking our total to 600 grams what would be 2 grams per watt used. If that's so, Ill never use another light again! Thank you Mars Hydro for letting us try it. And by god so should anyone wanting to up their growing game. Everything is going good again this week, girls are starting to pack on the buds now for sure. Screen is not the evenness canopy, but it will do. 1 plant does seem to not be doing the same as the others, bud wise, though, but she got stressed a bit when I broke a large branch early into flower while training it under my screen maybe. I also noticed my light was not quite coming all the way over on that side of the tent far enough so I fixed that and we will see how she does. Buds are only half The size maybe of what are on the other 3 plant blanches. I also did a water change out end of last week and kept the nutrients on the lighter side still. I usually go opposite and push them with the nutrients, but this time we are dialing it back just a tad to see the results. So far so good anyway. Lol Cheers💨

Es geht auf die Zielgerade zu, wir haben heute Tag 64 seit dem sie aus der Erde geschaut haben. Die terps werden immer intensiver, die Buds sind fest und voller Trichome. Die ersten Bernsteinköpfe sind auch schon zu sehen an den Fastbuds strains, extrem feste und dicke buds. Die Apple Fritter von RQS hängt zwar hinterher, aber entwickelt auch sehr schöne Feste buds und sie duftet nach grünen Äpfeln. We're approaching the finish line; today is day 64 since they emerged from the ground. The terpenes are becoming increasingly intense, the buds are firm and covered in trichomes. The first amber heads are already visible on the Fastbuds strains – extremely dense and thick buds. The Apple Fritter from RQS is lagging behind, but it's also developing very nice, firm buds and smells of green apples.

CRAZY NIGHT: We were in Montreal around 2006/7 to promote an entrepreneurial business set up by my brother. The business centred around fightgear and fighter promotion in the mixed martial arts industry. My Brother (NX), myself, Stephanie 1 and Stephanie 2 (real names) and some big name fighters were in town to hang out with some clients, bring the fighters to a few venues to meet fans, run some demo classes, and sell some shirts. These two girls are bombshells, and apparently NX has a sexy night planned with the both of em. The Stephanies are all over eachother all day long, playing the role of stupid bimbo to a tee. While these girls are day drinking, we are trying to get everyone settled into hotel rooms, give enough time to meet clients for dinner, and then we would head out to the bars in Montreal where we had booked appearances. A typical weekend promo, nothing should go wrong.... (continued next week) THE DIARY STUFF: Well, Fastbuds, they never called me fastgrower!! You sent me these seeds MONTHS ago, and waited on my grow season to start. Much appreciated, and in turn, I will grow your little ladies with the utmost care and respect they deserve. Lets see the full potential of these fast finishers, cant wait for you to tell me whats in em! All seeds popped within 48 hours of germination in paper towel method. So far, off to a good start!

Finishing out at a full 9 weeks of flower for the rest of this cycle. All of em are at various stages of doneness and now nothing left to do but chop em up and see what we got. It was a generally flawless run, save issues with WPM, a bit of nute burn on the northern lights and one leaky pot. The seals cracked on all of em again and we’ll mod the outlets to uniseals next run and see if that is the final missing piece to this hydroponics puzzle😎. The 5ml/L baking soda solution did wonders to keep the WPM in check and it’s also a much cheaper option than h2o2. We’ll draw about 1/2oz per plant when alls said and done - pretty much exactly what we were trying for with this grow of clones. Nothing but top shelf, rock hard bud🤟👍. Really happy to get these strains dialed in. The nutrient system was nothing short of phenomenal too. We could’ve jumped on the nute burn issue with the NL a little earlier but for a first run of this one component system, this is a fantastic result regardless. Proof that you can get a hydro run to scale on a recirculating system that accommodates multiple strains (with the right nute system)🤩🤩🤩. As much as I’m dying to give the whole thing a go with straight fem seeds that’ll have to wait a couple months. We’ve got bigger fish to fry and a new cross to start drilling down on. The layover may be short lived if we end up with multiple fem cuts on that grow. We’ll see what happens. After a week of super stretch to today 52 centimeters which crashes the 100% growth mark finally bud sites became clearly visible. Now for the final phase. Water intake is massive. When I upped to 2.5l per plant per 2 days from before 1.5l I saw zero difference in how fast the soil went dry etc. The plants stopped transpiring as much such that my humidity came a bit down. I was up to 60% at some times during the day. But it’s down to 50-55 again. Depends a bit on how often I vent the room. Gotta have to have a final stress point which is that I might have too move. Will share some pictures of how I’ll pull it off. Stay tuned.

We are at 21 days from these girls breaking the surface and they are making progress. I noticed at the beginning of the week that they were a little overdosed on nitrogen so I added 2 gallons of tap water to the reservoir and adjusted the ph to 6. They are still looking a little heavy on N but their growth rate is going great so I think it should balance out by the end of next week. I dont plan on doing a water change until I flower them. I left the plants alone most of the week. Tied most of them down to spread them out and defoliated a few lower leaves on day 20. The branches on most of these plants are thick and solid already. They don't budge easily. Bananasicle is looking pretty funky with uneven branch and node growth but we are just going to push forward. Still pumping nutrients and beaming light 24 hours a day. I'm thinking day 28 we will switch them to flower and see if any of these ladies can bring some❄️🔥💨
