In Week 6, all three of our plants—Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze, Humboldt Seed Bubba Kush, and Blueberry Muffin—are still in the vegetative stage. They are thriving, and this extended time in veg is allowing them to develop robust structures, setting the stage for a strong flowering phase later on. --- ### 🌼 Vegetative Progress 🌼 **Greenhouse Super Lemon Haze 🌞** - Growing vigorously, with significant height and branch development. - The plant is responding well to LST, creating a wider and more even canopy. **Humboldt Seed Bubba Kush 🌿** - Compact and bushy, with strong, dense growth. - Ideal for smaller spaces, this plant is developing a solid foundation for flowering. **Blueberry Muffin 🥞** - Showing lush foliage and thickening stems. - The extended vegetative period is helping to ensure a healthy, resilient plant ready to support heavy buds. --- ### 🌱 Vegetative Techniques 🌱 To maximize growth during this stage, I’ve focused on several key techniques: - **Low-Stress Training (LST):** Continually training the branches to spread out and create multiple bud sites. - **Topping:** Applied to promote bushier growth and enhance yield potential. - **Defoliation:** Light defoliation to improve air circulation and light penetration to the lower parts of the plants. - **Nutrient Management:** Maintaining a balanced nutrient schedule with an emphasis on nitrogen to support healthy vegetative growth. --- ### 🌿 Looking Ahead 🌿 With all plants still in the vegetative stage, the focus remains on building strong, healthy plants. This extended veg time will pay off when we finally transition to flowering, ensuring that the plants are well-prepared to produce large, high-quality buds. Hello Diary. I am very happy that we are starting again. I’m going back to Automatics again. Many thanks to Royal Queen Seeds for sending me two of their new strains, Green Gelato Automatic and HulkBerry Automatic. So this is the first of two new diaries. WHY GREEN GELATO AUTOMATIC? Green Gelato Automatic is the autoflowering version of a legendary cannabis variety. The original strain is the lovechild of Thin Mint Cookies and Sunset Sherbet. It's one of the most aromatic strains available and produces monstrous levels of THC. Green Gelato Automatic contains both sativa and indica genetics. Her effects can be felt in the body and mind simultaneously. In fact, with a THC content of 24%, she's one of the most potent autoflowering strains you can find. She sends the mind into overdrive and makes a perfect smoke when writing, painting, or doing anything creative. LET THE DIARY START OFFICIALLY: 10/06/2020. planting. I have prepared everything I need for planting. The 11lit fabric pot I got from RQS, also Organic Boost Nutrition and Mycorrhizza from RQS, Soil is Light-Mix from BioBizz and of course the seed of the new strain Green Gelato Automatic. After adding 50g of pellets from Organic Nutrition and 5g of Mycorrhizze, I mixed everything well in the pot. After that I watered well and soaked the soil, I dug a hole with a wooden stick about 2-3 cm, I first put 1g of mycorrhize and then put the seeds inside. I lightly covered the hole with earth and put the pot in his new home. The temperature was about 25 degrees and the humidity about 65%. 14/06/2020. She sprouted. After 4 days, Green Gelato came out. In the meantime, I sprayed the surface of the earth a little twice. The temperature is still around 26 degrees, thanks to the summer and the high temperature that enters the apartment anyway. I regulate the humidity with a humidifier, I maintain it around 60% -65%. 15/06/2020. Her first photo shoot, I also watered her with about 2 liters of water, which I only regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron, Lemon Kick. 19/06/2020. Day 1. Green Gelato is officially one day old. On that occasion I took another photo shoot to celebrate this big day :). 24/06/2020. First Feeding First feeding. She got a whole meal from BioBizz, Root-Juice, Bio-Heaven and Acti-Vera, p.H of water I regulated with Lemon Kick from Plagron. 25/06/2020. Day 7. End of the first week. For now, everything is great. It is developing nicely, its conditions are almost perfect. Green Gelato will also have two roommates in the box, HulkBerry Automatic. Green Gelato - Day 7. - 10 cm I think that’s all for this week, I’m happy that it’s starting all over again, following its development and looking forward to what’s to come. See you next week.

This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, so the weakest looking plant is the LST only on GSC. ZThe strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.

This week, Tart Pops got a serious upgrade — moved into a big 50L pot and loving the legroom! Roots were wrapping tight around the old pot, so it was time to stretch out and settle in. Gave her a solid flush to clear out any leftover salts before the big shift. She’s heading straight into flower mode in the tent after this — lights, camera, pistils! Expecting explosive growth in the next 7–10 days as she settles into the new digs and switches gears. Let the bloom begin! It's time. The trichomes have clouded over, a milky haze obscuring the clear heads. The smell is faint. Very herby of thyme and salvia. The buds are small and round.

Week 5 of Vegetation It was really a great week⬆️🌱. The Gelato has really stretched out... 16 cm in a week. I’ve already tied the lower shoots back a bit so they’ll get more sun during the flowering phase. I’ve noticed a slight discoloration on the tips of the leaves… maybe I watered it a little too much. 🌊 Still, it was a great week… and I hope it transitions into the flowering phase soon. 🌸?

IT'S THAT TIME!!

irs Day 84 right now probably gonna chop her down on day 90. I’ve learned a lot from this grow and so far satisfied (for now) the smoke from the black cream is smooth asf it’s still curing right now but it’s sure to be a delight. Great genetics by sweet seeds would definitely recommend and run them again stay tuned for final weigh

This week was a very cold week. 13 to 18 degrees during the day and at night like 10 to 13 degrees. Therefore the buds didn't swell properly. Luckly one Critical Kush is still swelling but the other one seems to have slowed down. It's oke, i knew this would happen and the kushes might not finish in time. Might harvest my Shamans at the end of the month. The kushes I will keep until half/end oktober. Since this is only a outside fungrow, I'm not making any effort to heat up the climate by putting heaters arround the plants. Critical Kushes are in their 3th week of flowering. Good morning growmies! I am finally back online after moving house and being without internet for weeks. These ladies took a battering and bruising in transit, and were left in the dark for 4 days, starved of water and food for 9 days TWICE inside 3 weeks. Still, can you believe the progress despite all that? Wowza, when RQS say these Epsilon F1s are fast they are NOT JOKING, and OH MY the smell is soooooooooooooooooo good. It's really a complex sweet and fruity scent with delicate notes of spice and sandalwood. I am super curious now. All five plants are within a couple of inches of each other, the tallest being 72cm currently (Dinah!). I am so very impressed with these plants that I am considering running a full tent of Epsilon F1s for my next grow! I wonder if I can get a bulk discount?! 😬😁 Day 54: Fertigated 10l Day 56: They are not slowing down. Ally, Normani, Lauren, and Dinah are all similar size, Camila is a bit smaller but in terms of development they are all very very close to each other. I am really impressed by the uniformity here, more impressed by the speed, and most impressed by the scent. They are not strong smelling, but if you get close or have a squeeze it wafts over you like an exquisite perfume. It is the most complex cannabis scent I have experienced yet. Really really interesting, I am really excited for the eventual smoke review so that I can properly understand the complexity at play here. Just water as they are very small , light is a 100w Samsung led light for the first week then I will switch to the Zeus 465w Compact pro. I have repotted the plants now the seeds have popped, they are in 2 litre pots now. As soon as the toots hot the bottom of the pots I will put them in my autopots system. I have tried adding a layer of perlite on top of the bAc soil. To try and stop any bugs getting into my soil and also reflect the light back.
