Hello All! I'm BACK! I took a month off and I am so ready to get back to growing. I am adding a couple of things this grow different from my last. So look for some of the new things I am implementing. For starters! This time I will be growing from a seed. I purchased my seeds from Seed Supreme. The strain I will be growing this time is going to be SKunk#1. The Skunk#1 that i am growing this time is an Auto Flower. Two things are already different. Germinating from a seed, and growing an AutoFlower. 10/30/23 - Day 1 - Right now I chose to setup my heat mat, put the dome over the mat and put the water cup on the mat. I'm going to let the seed soak for 24 hrs. Tomorrow ill pull it out and put it in a damp cloth in side the dome with the heat pad. 10/31/23 - Day 2 - Happy Halloween yall! This is a good sign, less than 24hrs and the seed has already started to open. I got a paper towel wet, and I moved the seed to the paper towel. Ill keep her in the wet, paper towl. In the cup. Thats on the heat mat under the dome. Important to note, the heat mat is set for 120deg. Its off the ground on a table. I leave it on 24/7 during this whole process. 11/1/23 - Day 3 - I'm Really impressed. She already popped and sprouted a tail! I'm going to wait until her tail is sticking out a lot more before moving her to the LEAF box. So a couple of things got done today. I wanted to set up my Leaf box differently this time. Last grow I use the manual options for water and humidity. I was the person who would refill the water and the humidifier. This time I ran all the correct PVC to allow the Leaf Box to use the automatic process. I should be able to be super hands-off this time. I have an RO water system that I set up to feed the Leaf Box. I posted a Video of me taking the seed and planting it into Rockwool. I could start the Leaf box up now, but I want the seed to grow a bit more. Right now it's still on a hot mat, with plenty of water. I also added some Root Armor. 11/2/23 - Day 4 - The top of the seed is already starting to poke out. This seed has no chill.

This weeks time lapse was a big bucket of suck! the camera was not on any plant just pointed at the floor of the tent you can see a little in the corner but all in all an epic fail. The plants did not care however, they responded well to the topping and they are getting really bushy. I raised my lights to try to help them stretch. The Strawberry Ice is a tour de force in the veg stage. The Blue Dream Haze is about average and the reboot is coming along. This Royal Gold coco "Tupur" says it can be watered up to six times a day. I have not had to water these girls for about 3-4 days the media really retains the moisture I am afraid if I water more frequently I will rot the roots. My watering is based on the pot weight. If they are heavy let them dry out and water when light. I'm giving them a late veg feeding per the Emerald Harvest 3 part nutrient series feeding chart with an added blast of CAL MAG. The TUPRU says on the bag it needs the extra CAL MAG. Time to LST these ladies for the next 2 weeks then flipping them to flower. gonna adjust the camera and hope to get a good shot the the LTS bounce back. TTFN.

Into final week flush began last Sat no nutes since then only water not the biggest plant but plant full of bud so can't complain il be happy with oz of both about and half foot hopefully buds are compact and heavy tops look a bit fluffy maybe light stress cause buds under seem a lot more dense well see

10/11/24 she had gotten so overly dry that she was impossible to water. i had to scrape and break of the dry spots all around the soil and root ball so that water could penetrate. she was root bound from a solo cup and then as well from 1 gallon to 3 gallon. once the rootbound spots got overly dry, they became super hydrophobic and i didnt realize how bad it was. that may be what's been affecting the over all health of the plant. finally able to get her to hold weight in water so im hopefull 10/15 pistils are getting thrown out everywhere. a bit of a stretch so far but not too much. maybe a couple inches or

Thursday this week has been good so far, I pulled each plant out yesterday and tidied everything up. I got rid of all the tiny lateral branches that didn’t make the cut and I got Rid of everything that was below about half way down the plant. Obviously the lateral branches that grew to the same height as the canopy are staying it’s just all the non starter stuff below. I annoyingly had my in take fan die on me. We’ll sort of, it just keeps tripping the fuse on my electric so I assume it’s from when I had my res flood onto the floor - I forgot it was there on the floor because it was hidden behind the res

Finally a more recent update. I’ve cut out nitrogen a good while ago I believe there’s hardly any left. Hence the red and purple colours coming through as well as yellow ones. The Skunk has turned the most purple out the 2, did NOT expect that. Night temps are fine not cold!!

Week 8 is finally here! We changed up the nutrient feeding to the week 8 on the feed chart. I am diluting everything at a 50-40% rate to keep EC within acceptable ranges of 0.8 - 1.1 EC. I started adding Terpinator to the mix and I do notice a significant smell increase vs. without it. I am going to keep using this as I think it is a great supplement. I did figure out that even though on the bottle and on the specific feed chart, it says it is a light formula that will have minimal impact on EC and will not burn your plants at the recommended rates - it will! First time mixing up my nutrients with terpinator, I had to dilute it because the EC was too high. I put the recommended amount in my mix, and checked EC and low and behold it was high. The next feeding I did a 50% dilution rate and that seemed to be ok if you are diluting your other inputs properly to compensate. ALWAYS make sure your EC and PH are in check prior to fertigating your plants. I am watching the trichomes on a daily basis and am looking to harvest sometime this week or next. I plan to dry it in the tent it is growing in as it has AC and good airflow. Once they are done drying, they will get trimmed up, lightly vacuum sealed and stored in the freezer. Last week of vegetative stage. I will be flipping next week and start the flowering stage. I'm looking at 9 mains colas and 4 smaller ones. From now on, I'll do occasional defoliation as she is obviously an indica dominant strain (despite breeder saying it's a 50/50) I was scared of her stretching too much and outgrowing my 6' height tent. This was a mistake and if I would do things differently, I would let her vege another 2 or even 3 weeks. She grew rather small in height

Day 35 of Bloom. They are looking very good entering the late week of flowering... buds are gonna be huge 😋😋😋 terps profile are so diferent on each strain... so delicious.... wow mouth watering....

First week of flower growth for the older ones, younger ones are still sort of finishing stretch (4 day difference). Plants got much taller than I expected, especially the one which started out extremely weak with very messed up leaves, which is around 2 feet at the moment. I remember weeks 3 and 4 I was butthurt like “why are they so small :,(“ LOL, if only I knew. Now I’m having to actually move my light up! Past few weeks most of the new growth has been growing in with yellow tips, still haven’t figured out why. Don’t think it’s nute burn cause I’m barely pushing 800, could definitely be wrong though I’m too new to this. Otherwise they’re completely healthy, consistently standing right back up immediately after I train them whether it’s LST or even HST. Humidity is beginning to become a problem, which I was not prepared for. The paint in the closet is beginning to crack and bubble off so I will most likely have to go in there scrape it and re prime and paint it myself eventually. Ordered a small dehumidifier on Amazon because I’m on a budget, that was a mistake. It pulls about a quarter pint out per day -_- wasn’t trying to spend 150+ on a new one so I found a 25 pint on Craigslist for 40 bucks, it should work, picking it up later today. Edit: dehumidifier is up and running and works perfectly, rh now at a steady 50. Leaving on a trip for a month in December so I will unfortunately be forced to harvest at 12 weeks, really hoping they will be close to done by then. But yeah, still having fun tending to these awesome organisms!

Good growth and upward spurt in full swing with the pre-flower sites lengthening. No more LST now. Water consumption is about a litre a day. But.....a couple of leaves have some brown spots!!!!! Arghhhhhh. Perhaps the base soils nutrients were dying off? Who knows, started flower nutrients at a 1/4 strength. Fingers crossed no more brown spots.
