Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Since the second week I started doing LST on this strain. The plant grew very well, it was easy to train and had a very small amount of leaves, so I didn't defoliate it. Today I have done some lollipopping, taking off the branches that were too small. The buds start to grow in dimension and also start to smell. Also the resin production it's very good, if you try to touch the buds, your fingers will stick together.

i accidently bought some unbuffered coco and mixed it with my ussual earth, had major calmag problems in mid-flower but i´m still pleased with the results...also had a little trouble with mold at the end due to bad weather and high humidity in the final weeks of the grow, had to remove a few buds and harvest early @ day 55 of flower....but there's still alot of great looking buds left for me to enjoy and all look mostly done... Just harvested and hung them upside down, currently drying them at constant 19.5-20.5°C and 50-60% RH..will update as soon as they are dry

She didn't recover very well after the stress...

This week in my grow room has been full of developments. First, I added additional lights because I couldn't get the relative humidity (RH) under control. I ordered a dehumidifier, but it will take a few weeks to arrive, so I had to find a temporary solution. I also emptied the reservoir and refilled it with fresh water and nutrients. I secured the net to ensure it stays in place under tension. In two days, I plan to switch the light schedule to 12/12, hoping the plants will stretch a bit during the switch to avoid having overly large buds that aren't evenly spread. Seventeen hours later, I decided to keep the lights on a 16/8 schedule for a few more days. The plants are starting to show signs of something happening, so I want to see how they develop. I will keep you updated on the progress. Then, I received a message from my supplier that the dehumidifier would arrive today. Great news—time to spice things up! On June 2nd, the dehumidifier arrived, and I managed to get my Vapor Pressure Deficit (VPD) to 1.17! This is fantastic news, and I'm very curious how this will affect water usage. The dehumidifier seems pretty powerful, with water literally dripping out of the hose, so I'm no longer worried about high humidity levels. It's a shame it doesn't have a range setting, but I couldn't expect more for the price. I'm considering ordering the Dimlux Auxbox to set a working range and separate day/night settings. Thankfully, the dehumidifier has an auto-restart function after a power loss. On June 3rd, the night is over, and while my values are now more stable, I haven't noticed any significant differences in water absorption. What I do notice is that the pots seem much drier. The difference in leaf temperature compared to the room temperature has increased slightly, now about a 2˚C difference, indicating that evaporation has increased somewhat. Despite the dehumidifier cooling the air, the room temperature has risen. This is explainable since dry air heats up faster than humid air. The CO2 heater is also running significantly longer. So, although there are no immediately visible differences, there are indeed some changes. Today is the last short night of 8 hours, and tomorrow will be the first night of 12 hours. I am contemplating doing a 10-hour night first and will decide later tonight. After closely reviewing the video footage, I noticed some divergent colors on the leaves. My pH is currently 6.4, which I had adjusted to compensate for the low pH last week—a foolish decision in coco, I know. I plan to make videos of each individual plant for my records to investigate further. The light is too intense to inspect them up close, so the videos will help me get a better look.

Grow diary 11 stage 8 Day 71 to 80 She just doing her thing. Because of the o.g the light is a bit to far away but this will be the next plant into the finishing tent and will get plenty more light for final days. The two plants growing gorilla have been decimated by slugs. Next time I'm clearing more of an area around the plants and using slug pellets and tape. Never had a slug problem like this before.

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

Guys, I did it! I managed to get to the end of my grow with no problems and a whopping dry weight of 189 grams (6.6 oz). I am over the moon with the outcome, especially considering this was my first time. The buds have been curing for 12 days now, breaking down extra chlorophyll for a smoother smoke. The aromas are subtle when putting your nose in the jars—nothing crazy—but when you break into a bud, it smells absolutely amazing. It has an aroma almost like Stardog, with a diesel, piney, and gassy scent. As for the taste, the buds are just as impressive! They taste exactly how they smell: diesel, piney, and gassy, much like a Stardog. The effect is incredible; it numbed my whole body and put me in a couch lock state. This strain is probably not the best for daytime smoking due to its potent, body-numbing effect. I can't wait to continue this journey with my next grow!

1/25/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 1- took 2 Tops today and cleaned up a few lower leaves that were hanging down. The FiM seems to have worked well and looks like I have three branches coming in where it was FiMed. 1/26/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 2- took 2 Tops from the sides and took a little of the foliage that was touching the lid. She seems to be doing very well.. Water change day tomorrow.. YAY!! will get a good picture of the roots and see how she is doing. 1/27/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 3- Water Change Day! I noticed a slight red coming in on the STEMS which I added a pinch of EPSOM salt to help correct. Luckily for me the system was able to do what it do and hold it down until I was feeling better. 1/30/2024 Vegetation Week 3 Day 6- I was still to sick to go to my grow room... Her PH was down to 5.72 so I raised the PH back up closer to 6.0, I took a few pictures and got her height.. Feeling better through prayer so was able to get some pics today.

Think I'm at about week 2 flower or 1 if I'm including transition week. A few hermied a few survived its been a road either these Girls but because its a bag seed run it was expected. As for the girls that are still here its looking good. Cerberuss the 3 headed girl are female and very tall I will do a video and pics for you guys to see. Had to do alot of topping and lollipop alot. Hope you guys have been well. Another thing is I won't know what plants what until smelling or tasting etc when harvest is here.
