There is so much to discuss ! I have been extremely busy as of late trying to get this Harvest together, but i am happy to have it here for you now ! I Seriously under estimated the amount of time, help from others, and my own necessary skills to pull this off.. and i still kind of screwed it up lol ! But its worth noting i have never actually done this before and trying to document it during....was extremely hard. It is next to impossible to work an iPhone with rubber gloves on ! First I want to discuss everything step by step so before you jump straight into the comments on how the end product is so small in "quantity" Rest assured i am happy with its"quality"...and thats all that matters to me because Life is a journey not a destination! and i have learned so much from this grow that I couldn't be any happy even if i messed some things up :) But at the very least I hope you read through this entry in its entirety with an open mind and focus more on the process, rather than just the outcome! I ran out of Ice & i was only able to wash three times..(normally I've heard you should go sometimes 5-6 washes) Preparation is Key & things will be much better next round :) Photos 1-22 These are pretty self explanatory but for those of you just tuning in now.. this is what happens to a very happy plant when you don't have the necessary tools to monitor key components of growing cannabis.. Ph, as well as EC levels play a very key role in the outcome of your grow lol that being said I was just able to save this plant by purchasing both tools but that doesn't mean the plant didn't suffer because of the prior events.. This was a Huge reason behind me choosing to turn this harvest into what i would consider "Solventless Hash Rosin" from "Ice water extracted Bubble hash". Pictures 23 The idea here is the process of using "fresh Frozen Cannabis" this has been discussed many a time online on such sites as instagram and here on grow diaries as well.. I personally have Never tried the process so i decided to try it out and make a judgement for myself.. Video 24 The Cannabis has now been in the freezer for 72 hours making it very well frozen.. as you can tell i struggled getting it all into the 25u Screen Wash Bag. One thing of note i would do differently is i will de-stem my next batch as i also believe this played a part in the amount of plant matter that escaped through the sieves. Photo/Video's 25-28 The idea here is "ice water Seiving" & especially with the bags that I am using here that are only have screen material on the bottom portion of the bag it is very important to have spaces in-between the screens to allow the water to pass directly through the screens into the bottom bucket with the least amount of resistance.. because the hash is so extremely temperature dependant if it gets warm on the side of the bag.. it will stick there and not make it to the bottom to become use able product.. 29 You do not need to use as much Ice as i used here lol... the idea is to keep everything very cold..i certainly achieved that but at the sacrifice of using so much that i ended up grinding product and producing "contaminants" but in the end they are just plant matter that i would be smoking when i rolled up my joint either way so.. I'm not super disappointed.. But it should be noted that what you want to achieve here is a Layering effect where you have the wash bag between two small layers of ice while the "water current" washes the Trichomes away allowing them to be separated by the screens setup below :) Before Starting the machine you should allow some time (i.e.;10-12minutes pre soak to allow the product to become saturated) before the first cycle. By video 32 I have just ran out of ice lol.. Video 33-34 Here I have a tip for you.. to separate the screens that you sieve through.. cut 5 gallon buckets to stretch them across nice and tight.. it'll make scooping your Bubble that much easier ! i learned this from the many "Frenchy" videos I have watched :) Picture 35 Here in lays the problem for most people.. drying your hash without loosing vast amounts of "Terpenes" whilst also stay ever vigilant against mold ! Thanks to all those videos I've watched on youtube.. id like to think this was one of my most successful parts of this process.. Things to Note; Terpenes start to seriously evaporate at temperatures 68F or 20C you need to stay as cold as possible whilst bringing the Relative Humidity in the space down into the 40-30% to stay away from that nasty mold ! I used my cold storage room in the basement.. with a dehumidifier running to keep the space at 45% RH & staying at a constant 15c. All while spreading the hash as thin as possible across parchment paper, on top of the white screens with a fan moving air across both sides of the paper. Pictures 36-38 These are some macros i took in the middle of my drying session I fell in love with the colour. Yes i know the black spots are plant material but they will get caught when i bag the hash & squish the oil out. Thing to Note; at this stage it is important to ensure you 'micro plane" the hash down as fine as you can whilst staying weary of the temperature... any "chunks" will hold pockets of moisture.. that lead to potential problems..ie; mold ... Picture/Video 39-41 Successfully planed bubble hash ready to be bagged and Squished ! Picture 42 Ive decided to follow Pedro.. from Pedros Grow Room and double bag to be on the safe side so i don't have any blow outs. So thats One 25u bag inside one 160u bag ! :) Pictures 43 This is almost 3 grams of the bubble hash from above, already melting in the bag.. this is where i ran into trouble again lol things started getting to warm in the house and i was only able to get one of the three squish's i did on video :( things started getting sticky. Picture 44 This is basically just a photo of the equipment I'm using; 3x5 LowTemp Cage in the frame I built myself, with a 20Ton bottle jack. Something to note here is this is an older Lowtemp model with only a single heating zone which is which i have it closed here heating Both sides of the press :) As well as the importance of having adequate pressure on your plates.. my rig is very overkill for the size of hash bags..lol Video 45 Here is the lovely press video.. its didn't quite work the way i wanted either lol my directional folding wasn't quite tight enough for a big "drip" :) &the Press was set to 65°c Photo's 46-50 are pretty self explanatory :) I had a blow out.. but still managed to pull an 80% return from the hash once squished...& yes it tasted amazing :) Was it worth it in the end... that could be debated.. for some..i understand..its not your thing, but for those of us that are interested in making our own concentrates.. free from Solvents... 3 of the 4 seeds popped. I can see the other one in the rapid rooter but I added another stardawg just to keep things moving. I started with 300 ppm and got the NFT system running and new HLG 260’s at 36” above them turned all the way down.

I welcome everyone who came in for the first time or has long been following my blueberries. the girl blossoms and smells and already showers herself with trichomes. two days ago I used iron chelate on a sheet to stimulate photosynthesis and also, due to phosphorus deficiency, introduced dry water-soluble fertilizer NPK 10/54/10

Day 73, 25th of November 2020: Hi! Well they are getting nice maturing buds getting bigger and all good. I love the red colour of the Red Hot Cookies. Unfortunately, Tropicanna Poison and Red Mandarnine does not show any signs of purple or red colour. Kalini Asia neither albeit, the bonsai version gets purple. Gelato is little beauty. So yes, basically not much to say. Fertilization is still the same every second day with the ratio and mixture above stated. The lamp is on 11.15 min and off 12.45 min. Last week was 15 min longer light cycle.... So every week 15 min shorter light cycle until the 5th week. So far -45 min. It switches on at 6 am and off at 17.15 pm.

Very compact, extremely resinous buds show color, trimmed as little as possible for natural drying, large and visible trichome head, slower harvest of sticky buds, strong smell, tutti frut, mango, tangerine. Orange, purple, yellow color. Terpenes something wonderful, limonene present, fundamental environment and temperature for this arrival Euphoric effect, relaxing active after a while, as it was crossed several times until reaching this car, it came with different characteristics from its sativa sisters and I like height and characteristics more of the most compact and plump buds.

Weekly update on these absolutely gorgeous girls. I was gone for the beginning of the week and came back today and I swear the flowers have doubled in size. They're smelling super strong and gassy. The flowers are dense as rocks so I hope with the summer heats they'll stay that way and not become airy. All in all Happy Growing.

I make topping and this is the day after topping so they look growing nice. The next 2 days I will change them to bigger pot I already prepared so let’s gooooooo Growing guyssss

CRAZY NIGHT (continued) I get a cab back to the boys, we take the company car to the casino where we can park it relatively safely under cctv camera. It has a non functioning and non closing window at this point, so thats the best place we could think of. We hit the sino, win a few bucks and kill a few hours. I lose one of the boys to a high class and expensive looking late night date (???) and he assures us he will see us at breakfast in 40 minutes (hahah). We walk out with our winnings to find our car is gone. Not only is the window non functioning, it is non existent. Well there goes fucking breakfast! We called to report the incident, and one of us had to stay to chat with the cop and the casino. I didnt have the time, so my remaining buddy gave the notes. No texts from NX, so I called him. at around 4:40am. Went right to voicemail, followed by a text: "Im stucK" ...(continued) DIARY STUFF These Fastbud fast finishers are incredible plants. Not even finished 6 weeks of flower and they are packing on some serious cola weight. So much bud to leaf ratio, and sticky as all hell. Added Beastie blooms to the flowering feed and they seem to be loving it. Heat has been a battle this week as it is the middle of july and humid. Running lights at half power and ac full HEATHER !!! SELL ME FFT5 and FFT7

Day 57 - The plant looks great, healthy! The buds are looks great also. Day 58 - The plant is looking great i just watered her today looks like she might have a bit of water shock. I gave the plant some PH controlled water but i didn't take into account the soil so the whole thing didn't make a difference. Day 59 - The plant looks amazing. Defoliated her a little more today.I'm noticing the smell more prominently now as well; Also we done some seriouse decore change today so the whole place looks like a bud box we got the other plants from my diaries featuring in a the video. Day 60 - She is well and growing. Day 61 - Was to busy running around didnt take a pic its a shame but its okay. Day 62 - The buds are forming nicely plant is stretching out for the last time. The plant is also dry and will need watering tomorrow. I raised the light today as she is very tall now and was nearly touching the light. Day 63 - The plant got fed PH 5 water, so she looks a bit droopy from water shock but; she will spring back to life like she normally does. Looks like the plant is doing well though.

This week made a few oopsies . I gave un-ph’d water to one of the plants “moving to fast” . Started defoliation during this week to attempt to redirect plant energy into establishing a full canopy since flowering has initiated. Whilst defoliating I broke a branch that had to be taped to save it. Humidity went out of whack when I stored 4 prepped 5 gal pots for transplant in the tent sooo I’ve got to buy a dehumidifier bc at one point all my plants fell out in a fit . STILL haven’t filled these pots out, & I’m kinda sure/unsure it’s time to re-amend the soil for flowering. I’m conflicting on waiting until beginning/middle of week 7 so I can flush week 11 & 12 . I think that covers it pretty well Week 5 in the 📚 📕 📖.

Feb 13th - last nite confirmed something that I had noticed over the last couple of weeks. There is a difference in how fast each of the 3 plants pics up its moisture. The blue God was very dry while the Colombian was at the other end of the scale; still moist. The A.G. is always between these two, never the same. - big feed tonight @ 16L / 3 plants - upon checking the Pots moisture levels, it was decided NOT to feed the Colombian Gold. The soils Moisture level was still too moist to go ahead and give it a big feeding. I can wait a day or two till it needs it. Pictures attached; identical conditions; solid schedule, the Colombian just stays wetter, longer. It now gets its 5.33 Litres a little behind the others. May 16th, - feeding day for the Colombian Gold and some trichome shots of the Blue God May 17th, - holding off on the Flush of B.G. till Wed. Still lots of clear trichomes, very few amber. May19th, -wow, talk about life getting in the way. And its all good. Its has just been very busy, And the plants need attention. As highlighted earlier, Blue God is at the end of week 6 now and tonite is its last meal; as per normal. Acapulco and Colombian are still too moist. - pictures and updates tonight May 20th - flush carried-out - tent empied washed; yikes - it is the end of week 7 for the Acapulco, and it get flushed at the end of week 8 with the Colombian. As busy as things have been, there will be lots of scrutiny in the next couple of weeks, as the Trichome watch begins.

These are doing awesome! We have had a little bit of a change in the weather in the last week, the nights have gotten nice and cool, and the days are still quite warm. We have also had a few showers this week which they seem to have loved. We are at about 13.5 hours of sunlight a day, and cute little buds are forming quickly. These smell peppery, sharp and sweet. One of these babes has reached 7 ft from the ground; the others are between 6.5 and 7 ft aswell. We heavily defoliated these giants today. These ladies continue to impress me as we move slowly toward the autumn equinox; and into the harvest season 🌾
