8/7 After several days of Growdiaries making it difficult for me to write and respond to comments, I found that I can still update the journals. I apologize to everyone for the non-replies but I have replaced the main email and the email to confirm the account never arrives, and Growdiaries' customer service seems to be non-existent.
10/7 one of them does not seem to want to grow as well as it should. I'll see how it goes in the next few days
12/7 we are in development, but the smallest seems to show signs of malformation. we will see how it goes

Vegetationswoche 14 - 10.07. – 17.07.2026
Diese Woche gibt es eigentlich nicht viel zu berichten. Die Utopia wächst weiter vor sich hin, sieht gesund aus und entwickelt sich genau so, wie ich mir das vorgestellt habe.
Ich habe nach wie vor kaum eingegriffen, sondern sie einfach wachsen lassen. Gegossen wurde einmal mit etwa 4 Litern Wasser.

Day 48. They look very nice for such pitty UK summer. Days are in low 20, nights as low as 11.... constant rain ....
Happy with that strain a lot !!! Copes through everything without any issues. #1 lost one set of bottom branches , #2 and #3 lost two sets each. They needed good clearing.
Cleared all garden from fresh grow, aerated soil, put slug pellets and thats it.
Came late so leaves are droopy.
Will visit in two weeks to top up with PK boost.

Day 50 Flower And this beauty’s keep on growing day after day. I still think i will have at least 2 more weeks for them to be ready, this means by the looks that they will be massive buds 🤩🤩🤩💚💚💚🙌🙌🙌
Day 52 Flower And had to pul out my camera for some more photos of them, the build up i made on the soil with AptusHolland nutrients is showing the results and this girls are just beautiful 🤩 shoutout to AptusHolland for the quality on the all nutrients line they have , and shoutout to Lumatek for the LED quality, still my best light, and i still think that the sun should take notes 😆😆😆 and of course shoutout to seedsmanseeds for the quality the put in all of them genetics 🙌🙌🙌🙏🙏💚💚💚🙏
Day 56 FLower snd they keep growing and growing despite the fact that they have been on plain water for over 3 weeks ,I’m amazed af 🙌🙌🙌 respect to both genetics as nutrients ✊✊✊

1 seedling was burn because of too much humidity. One seed already germinated ready to replace it.

Harvest Report by Zuppler - End of Week 9
Yo, what’s good fam? Zuppler comin' through with that harvest report, Week 9 wrapped up and it’s time to bring these queens down. The buds are lookin’ fat, frosty, and sticky – they ripened up just right, with that perfect mix of milky and amber trichomes. Real proud of how this run turned out.
I learned a lot in this grow, no doubt. Dialin' in them nutes, catchin' the burn early, and lettin' them heavy buds stack properly. It’s all about leveling up, ya feel me? Next grow, I’m excited to be poppin' some Cherry Pie and Fruit Cake beans – gonna take everything I learned this round and make the next one even better.

My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes.
The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

New light installed, twice as powerful as before but still a cheap light I've yet to learn fully
Like the first batch of seeds to germinate, I again get a strange 'quad' seedling, 4 embryo leaves, then attempts to grow it's first 4 leaves instead of 2 also, growth is severely stunted in both seedlings to start with 4 embryo leaves after seed popped

Chemdawg is just taking off beating everything I have right now didn’t know 7 gallons would make that much of a difference but it does it’s almost half a foot taller than my other plants..this is also my first half soil/half coco run so she’s been a little slow flowering but finally looks to have got it going! The smell is a combination of mild sour diesel and really potent OG Kush..possibly my favorite aroma.

An interesting discovery was made with this plant’s pot, I observed how having a row lesser of drainage drastically effected how I water this lady. Her grow medium swamps up if I maintain a 1lt daily water schedule, which would result in drowning the roots, luckily my grow medium has sponges up when wet, allow the slow irrigation to take place to avoid root rot. Luckily it’s spring time and in Mzansi(South Africa) it is hot enough to push my greenhouse’ temperature higher than the outdoor temperature, to encourage some form of evaporation and humidity, next week I will add pictures of the thermometers, and you can see the drastic difference in temperature.

✂️ Wir sind in der Erntewoche angekommen. Eigentlich wollte ich die Wild Thai noch länger stehen lassen, aber die Natur hat mir einen Strich durch die Rechnung gemacht. Am 2026-06-15 habe ich massiven Befall mit Botrytis, also Grauschimmel, festgestellt. Bei einer Landrace-Sorte in diesem Stadium ist das ein absolutes K.O.-Kriterium, da wartet man nicht mehr ab.
📋 Die Fakten für diese Woche sind schnell zusammengefasst: Die Behandlung des Befalls bestand in der sofortigen Ernte am 2026-06-16, um den Rest der Pflanze oder andere Bestände nicht zu gefährden. Der Grow ist damit offiziell beendet.
📸 Wenn man sich die Bilder ansieht, erkennt man deutlich die typische Struktur dieser Sorte. Die Blüten sind eher locker gewachsen, was bei einer Thai-Genetik aber auch zu erwarten ist. Trotz der frühen Ernte sind die Blätter dunkelgrün bis violett gefärbt, was für eine schöne Optik sorgt. Die Trichome sind überall auf den Blüten und den kleinen Zuckerblättern gut ausgebildet und erkennbar. Der Stamm ist kräftig und zeigt die für die Sorte charakteristische Rötung.
Fazit: Schade um die letzten Tage, die ich ihr noch gegönnt hätte, aber Sicherheit geht vor. Grauschimmel ist ein gefährlicher Gegner, den man nicht unterschätzen darf. Jetzt geht es ans Trocknen und dann sehen wir mal, was die Ernte qualitativ hergibt. Man lernt eben nie aus, auch bei Landrassen nicht.
