Dutch Passion Week 0 DP is a new company for me so let me just say that their unboxing experience is truly fantastic. You get a nice little sealed tin box, loads of nice writing on it , inside a vacuum sealed bag, some cool story about the gens and how to grow on the inside of the lid aswell, it's an absolute pleasure opening these, if you want more pics of this just drop me a message, truly one of the best efforts i've seen for this for sure. I made a 1L solution with just a few drops of my specially made kelp extract, see the video how thick it is compared to store-bought stuff lol, and put some of that in a glass, dropped these seeds in the glass, cover to protect from the light and let that sit for one night to activate the seed. The next day one of these had cracked its shell already, i'm digging these genetics already, let's see how they do ! placed them in a propagator , covered with some dirt to protect from the light, now they're chilling covered, let's see how many sprout ! hopefully all of them ! they came out strong within a day 2 had cracked the surface, the second day they all had cracked the surface, the third day they already started stretching due to my broken propagator, on the fourth day you can see their roots sticking out on the picture, i decided to transplant them early because they were already stretching and the broken propagator wasn't making me happy. fed them plain tap water with a tea spoon once. I do like the RQS propagator i got from Zambeza, and even though it was broken it did make the whole germination much easier, i would definitely recomend the starter kit from zambeza so far, but i decided not to try any of their genetics until next round, which starts soon anyway... see you for next week's update !

The girls are fully in flower this week which of course is a GREAT sight to see when opening the tent. The smell in the tent is so sweet and fruity it's already making your mouth water!! So this week I feed the girls with a little of the living soil veg so they are still getting a helping hand. They were also given the living soil bloom and some barley which I will admit is the first time using it but so far me plus the girls are very much enjoying!! I have done the necessary light de-foliating on all 4 girls over the past 2 weeks and more LST. Happy toking guys and girls!! Buds have all developed and fattened up nicely will start to flush these bad boys later on in the coming weeks prior to the great chop!! I've been smoking the f2's leafs for a while and can honestly say I'm really happy with the flavour profile and resin production.. Am thinking of reveging 1 to keep the genetics alive 😀😀😀 T-14 days 🎉🎉🎉 Just chopped everything down due to space and had a little spyder mite issue at the end.. In all 54 days in flower was a decent amount of time!! Will wait for the final dry w8 and report back!!

Grow Diary – Day 79 (Flowering Day 59) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Nutrients: Flushing – pH-adjusted water only Lighting: LED at 50% intensity Date: May 30 Status: Final flush in progress – harvest slightly delayed Today marks Flowering Day 59, and the Sour Frootz are now well into the ripening phase. For the past three days, only pH-adjusted water has been given, initiating the flush phase. At this point, the nutrients in the soil are nearly depleted, and the plants are naturally drawing on internal reserves—visible through gradual leaf yellowing and fade. The plants are approaching ideal harvest maturity. The delay in harvest by a few days allows more amber to develop and maximizes terpene maturity without compromising overall quality. Lighting Conditions: • The LED is currently running at 50% power to gently finish the ripening process while minimizing light stress and preserving essential oils during these final days. Plant Observations: • Buds are hard, resinous, and aromatic • Strong sour/citrus funk intensifies with every day • Natural senescence is occurring – older fan leaves fading evenly • No nutrient deficiencies or toxicity present • Humidity stable around 50%, airflow is optimal • No signs of mold or late-stage issues Outlook: Harvest is likely to occur within the next 3–5 days, depending on final trichome checks and desired effect. It was harvested on day 55th of flowering. Easy to grow, nice looking strain. I will update once the THC% is measured.

Today: 14.18 hours of light 100.4 °F 58%Rh 1 million of mosquitos I've spent this hot week training these two plants trying to keep them the lower as possible since the two main buds have reached the roof (7.87 ft tall). Cookies Gelato is about 9.50 ft tall. I've applied white plastic net all around the pergola to give them some shade in order to slow down the metabolism. These plants are giant and there is no more space to move around. Asparagus stalks are well formed so this is, hopefully, the last preflowering week. Cookies is hungry and some bottom fan leaves start to show chlorosis but the top/mid canopy is plenty of natural nitrogen. During these last weeks I've watered them with 4-5 gallons each, leaving the soil to dry for 2/3 days, they seem to love this scheme. Also, the fact of not having pluck away even a leaf made these plants big and extremely vigorous. Tomorrow I will create a roof with clear plastic rolls as the nighttime humidity begins to increase and some summer thunderstorms are on the horizon.
