Week 2 - Transplanting Transplanting is the second part of securing a solid foundation for the roots, by using the rock wool cubes I am providing to root ball with a headquarters. I use root excelurator in my feeding and soaking the Rockwool cube so you can expect a very healthy root system and by having a healthy root system you have bigger trees, thicker stems & bigger buds.

Honestly— grow diaries screwed up big time here. I have two weeks of this diary completely missing after their update. I delete the pics so I can’t re update the lost weeks they deleted. This is week 8 and I chopped up this tester. Came out beautifully! Love the color. The density is on point, and the terps are pine cleaner. Harvest update next week. Big yield here!!!

Day 56 This plant looks fairly healthy overall, with a dense and compact structure. The canopy has filled out well, showing tight node spacing and several potential tops developing. Leaves are mostly a solid green, though some lower foliage is beginning to fade and yellow slightly, which may point to early nutrient demand or reduced light penetration. The plant’s posture isn’t fully upright – leaves show a bit of droop, which could indicate mild watering stress. Growth appears steady but not particularly vigorous; the plant seems stable, though not pushing out rapid new shoots at this stage. Main focus going forward will be on watering rhythm and nutrient balance. Allowing the medium to dry back a little more between irrigations should help with root health. A small nutritional adjustment might also support deeper green color and stronger new growth.

At the beginning of the second week, one of them started to completely freak out and mutated with all the impossible possible symptoms on the leaf pattern. I think maybe the soil life, i.e. the microbiome, was still too busy in the process of conversion and metabolism. And experience has shown that the Trichoderma bacteria usually take different amounts of time to symbiotize with the seedling and substrate. Also Myccorhiza.

What a beautiful strain Orange Hill Special is, nice and bushy, great internodal spacing, sturdy and healthy. Happier and happier with how this grow is going. The less beautiful parts on top are my doing, my blind as a bat FIM destroyed half the top of the plant. More patience next time... The super soil is still performing great and I´m pushing up the dimmer to get the ladies used to more light, very carefully because leaves are folding every time. Some of you might be happy to find my European recipe/shopping list for super soil. I tried to make it with widely offered products throughout Europe. Feel free to use it and elaborate on it. If one product is not available in your country, please check the brands at the bottom, which might be available in your country, and substitute. The only thing one could add to the recipe (which I did but forgot in the shopping list) is some Epsom salt. Fed them again with my permaculture tea, all seem to flourish and smells are starting to come from the plant, with that same distinct dankiness I had in earlier grows with this tea. See the germination page and other diaries for more info on my Perma tea. Now they were big enough, some might even say too big, to start the real training. I always love to give them a little bend the week before, to get used to the idea. With some sterilized bamboo sticks I pushed the plants down to expose their sexy undersides. Just pulled it today. Lots of pics to come and the weigh in. Going to update everything as I cure. Curing is going well. Speed dried a little as I’m impatient as hell. Pretty happy with the results. This White Widow strain is very good. Extremely resistant to bugs. I’ve dealt with a spider infestation throughout this grow and only got it under control in the last few weeks. Daily maintenance and cleaning got me through flower and I was able to pull this off. At harvest it was cut and immediately went into a bud wash to clean them up and remove any leftover mites, residue, etc. I usually do a bud wash, especially if it’s outdoor. If done properly it has no impact and I find it produces a smoother taste tbh. This was my second attempt at dwc. I’m very happy with it and will continue. I’ll update the weights when things are cured.

Cette semaine les plantes ont très bien poussé, je suis très content !! Je me rends compte que j'aurai dû faire une plus grosse défoliation 1 semaine avant de passer les plantes en floraison. Là les plantes sont très touffues et les plantes utilisent de l'énergie pour des feuilles qui n'arrivent pas à obtenir de lumière malgré le palissage. La prochaine fois, je couperai bien plus pour privilégier les têtes supérieures. J'ai augmenté l'intensité lumineuse et j'ai rapproché la lampe et rajouter de l'alga bloom. Je reste très satisfait de ce résultat avec tous les problèmes que j'ai eus lors de cette culture. J'ai perdu plusieurs sondes à ph ce qui a provoqué des problèmes d'absorption, mais j'ai bien rattrapé le coup. Plus qu'à attendre les nouveaux bourgeons 😎

Swapped out a light that’s slightly too big for my tent but squeezed it in with minor cuts to the tent. Probably should’ve done it sooner. Can only run the light at 50% or below.

Entering the Flower Stage Our P.C.R.s have officially entered the flowering stage, and the transformation is already visible. The stretch has begun, and you can see the plants reaching up, preparing to produce those beautiful buds we’re all waiting for. This stage is all about supporting their growth and ensuring they have everything they need to thrive. Day 61 - 24/11/19 Stopped adding nutes a few days ago and decided to flush. only feeding pure phed water now for roughly the next 5 days or so and then harvest time! Smell is insane! buds look a bit small but full of green/purple colours. so excited to be at the finish line for this one :) all the gear i need for harvesting, drying and curing is on its way so all i have to do now is keep watering and waiting :) Night 61 - Update pruning shears arrived! I decided to snip one of the side colas to dry and cure. the smaller bits of buds came off the stem while trimming so i cant hang them up to dry like the bud in the video i added. ive stored all the trim from the Dwarf diary and the side cola for making edibles this week. got a nice collection going now. and i added pictures and a video to show harvest and my temporary drying solution. Next update will be the full harvest so keep an aye out for that. Happy growing!

Week 7 of flowering 10/30/24 Changed nutrients to fit week 7 Buds are getting even bigger and thicker. Last week PH drop happened again a couple of days after the major flush. PH in rootzone is getting lower every day. Runoff still at 10-20%, so no salt buldup, EC same as intake or litttle higher. Flushed again with FloraKleen and watered with TriPart Micro, Grow, Bloom with CalMag. Bought Potassium Bicarbonate and Calcium Carbonate as suggested by "Aqua Man", to buffer coco in the future.
