The last week of vegetative state. Some of those are pretty dense, they look like salad. Maybe adding a bit of blue to this 80 CRI LED is a good idea to get a bit more elongation. Work a lot on LST tonight. I'm trying to make some clone with a technique I've seen long time ago. I put the cube directly on the plant. I remove the skin surface of the branch before putting the rockwool cube around . All cube are wrap in plastic to avoid excessive drying. No hormones. I will wait one week before cutting those clone out of the plant( thats my dead line before flowering). They all receive 200ml of PH 6.5 water this morninig and 200 more this afternoon. La tierra utilizada es al mix top crop, por cambiar. Hello Diary. The second week of vegetation is over. Pretty a quiet week, I had one watering and more or less it was all action on “Farm”. Conditions are more or less good, I would like the humidity to be a bit higher but ok. Watermelon has grown 20 cm, which is double from the previous week. I didn’t add any nutrients, the soil is still rich in nutrients from Easy Boost Organic Nutrition, Mycorrhiza Mix and substances in the soil. From next week I will start adding BioBizz. Her roommates, the two Purple Punch are also progressing nicely and you can see them better in their own diary. Let’s see how it was this week. 07/02/2021 - Day 12. Watering. I regulated the water with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. In my case the tap water is about 8 p.H. so I lower it to a value between 6.0 and 6.5. I pour water into the bucket the day before to evaporate the existing chlorine from the water. I should have watered more often with less water but now it turned out that way. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 49% humidity. 09/02/2021 - Day 14. Photographing plants, measuring height and analyzing the week. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 23.5 degrees and 40% humidity. Watermelon Auto - Day 14. - 20 cm For now, everything is cool, the conditions are good, the plants are progressing nicely, life is beautiful :). See you next week.

Wochenbericht – Pflanzprojekt (4. Woche) In der vierten Woche haben die Pflanzen einen deutlichen Wachstumsschub erfahren. Sie haben nicht nur in der Höhe stark zugelegt, sondern auch die Blätter sind kräftig gewachsen. Die Entwicklung verläuft weiterhin sehr positiv. Um die Pflanzen in ihrer Form zu optimieren, wurden die Köpfe getoppt, was zu einer noch dichteren Struktur führen soll. Die Pflege beschränkt sich weiterhin auf das Gießen mit Wasser, da die Erde ausreichend Nährstoffe bietet.

Day 70: Brain Cake seemed thirsty and wanting more nutrients: Topped off water yesterday, added +3ml of hyro A&B and +1ml of power roots & pure enzyme. EC went from 0.8 -> 1.0 Day 71: Brain Cake is showing symptoms, many top leaves have deformed tips and light interveinal chlorosis starting on opposite end of the tip and dark interveinal chlorosis at the end of the tip. EC is 0.8-0.9 (not very accurate meter :/ ) Not sure whether this is a nutrient deficiency or excess/lockout. The ph has been between 5.6 and 6.5 most of the time the past week, the reservoir change was 4-5 days ago. Plagron indicates to give more hydo A&B in proportion to their roots and enzyme nutrients in the first weeks of flowering (during veg these are given in proportion), so maybe these new problems are due to the different balance of nutrients that I may have times wrongly. Finally the problems may be due to the water reservoirs holding approx 12 liters in practice and the Brain Cake drinks approx 2-3.5L a day so maybe the water res is very unstable but after a day the PH usually remains in range and the EC usually drops a bit the first day after adding nutrients and stays pretty stable the rest of the week. Any suggestions are more than welcome! Day 72: Yesterday evening made an upgraded reservoir for the Brain Cake dwc (as we suspect the leaf problems may be due to instable water because of small res and roots nearly completely filling the res). Now the Brain Cake is in a 60L box with approx 32L of water, EC set to 1.0 and ph 5.7-6.5. She seems to be happy, nice and perky this morning. FYI the roots seem more orange in the video! They are on the white side though, just a bit of stain from the nutrients but looking very good overall.

The flowers are really starting to stack and thicken up. This is going to be a much more bountiful harvest than I thought previously. The smell is out of this world. creamy berry gasoline. update 11/21: I opened the tent this morning and was inspired to take some updated pics and a couple videos showing the entire plants. I am just amazed with these @mephistogenetics I highly doubt I will ever use another seed company again. Just the progress they have made in the past 3 days has me a believer for sure. 45 days in and they have some amazing weight on them already. I'm guessing these will be between 50 and 75g dry weight per plant when done, Even the side branches are stacking up some nice fat nugs, bigger than golf balls already.
