Week 5: A little yellowing on the leaves this week. We believe we have a Mag deficiency. Will adjust when watering. Did a flush due to this as well with Cal/Mag in the water. Defoliation: We took a lot more off this week due to the growth spurt. LST: using paper clips for LST and it is working amazingly. They have really adjusted well to it. Height (inches): GSC1 21.5; GSC2 15.5; GSC3 15; Delight 17 7.19.22: The back left GSC grew 3 inches overnight - crazy!!! Raised the light to accommodate it and placed the other girls on a box to be at her level.

The ladies are sucking down lots of water. So much so that the ppm's got a little high and some burn set in. Topped off the reservoir with ro water and calmag only to bring ppm down. No worries, looking pretty good I think and will finish up strong. These are the biggest girl scout cookies from fast buds I have ever grown. I have defoliate lots and snipped tiny bud sites down a bit to let the energy go into the bigger buds. I am very susceptible to PM so it's crucial I have air flow and light penetration. Everytime I let defoliation go the PM starts to set in and it's so hard to eradicate 100%. Prevention, prevention, prevention.

This lemon cheese is growing very well s lot of nice nugs covered in trichomes. The nutrients plan and watering schedule stayed the same as the previous week. I bought an electric microscope so expect trichomes pictures soon. 23/07 Update as promised I caught a couple trichomes pics and I can count 2 amber trichomes in the crowd, I will start flushing starting tomorrow

Week 6 of flower, the buds are fattening up and triching out. The terps are super sweet and very potent smelling. I haven't seen very many nanners or balls lately, but I have seen them popping through the buds occasionally. I still inspect daily, but some days I don't find any, so I hope it won't give me too many seeds. I did notice that the bud that gets the most intense light has started having tips pointed upwards and flipping its leaves. I attributed this to heat stress, so I moved that light over bit. Day 38 update: this last week I was only watering with distilled water and the yellowing has progressed, so I assume I was right about the nitrogen deficiency noted a couple weeks back. Today I top-fed with a homemade fast acting high nitrogen organic fertilizer, we will see if this helps. Also nothing in my current flowering feeding regime has a lot of nitrogen, so I think this will likely solve the problems. I have also decided to give them an extra 15 minutes darkness for a total of 13.25 hours darkness, 7.5 minutes extra on each end, tell them its almost time to finish with ~4 weeks left. Day 40 update: still been pulling herm balls and nanners off the big one, the others seem to have stopped, but i still check them daily. Gonna be slightly seeded for sure, but I hope not too much. Also, the yellowing seems to have been managed after that nitrogen feed.

The growing cycle itself worked out as expected, except that the pH-level was way off from where it should be, and I found out a bit too late. Because of this the outcome of the harvest didn't say much about the potential of this strain, but as soon as I got enough time and space, she will get a new chance to shine.000

08/25 dry weight came in at 157 grams. Very happy with the second round grow of GG4, she produced a lot more bud with the extra veg time. While I enjoyed this strain, I am moving on from her, to other strains. Thanks for checking out my grow! 👽🌳🔥💚

Week 9 .......... Flower Week.........June 6 to 12, 2020 ........ Days 57 to 63 from germination She took a lot of shape this week and buds are swelling. She has reacted well with Massive and has increased her nodal spacing. Now she needs to work bulking up and filling in that spacing😀👍 A little more leaf strip at the end of the week to let more light into the middle of her. Focussed on the leaves on the inside of her and left a number of the fan leaves on the perimeter of her to help with sugar production. Her hairs have never really been long but the buds are swelling in nicely. They started off a little small but have grown a lot wider in the last week.......as expected in week 9. Starting to see some possible nutrient issues forming as she is aging and some of her leaf tips are starting to curl down a bit. Red hairs have started so we should be less than three weeks to go and guess at roughly 2 weeks to go. Will be feeding next week but that might be the end......see what the week brings. Environment has been hovering at 79 degrees and 61 percent humidity for most of the week. Yeast and sugar CO2 in use. Still feel there is going to be trade off battling the pH issues of the pots by feeding her 4.5 water and feed. I have to keep it that low to have a runoff of 6.6pH🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪 Going to start letting the pH drift higher the next couple of days though and give a couple of waterings at 5.6 to ensure she is taking up enough phosphorus and potassium. The frost coming out on this girl now but she is a little slower coming on. Anticipate the last two weeks here should see good frost coming out. Have not even really looked at it too much yet to be honest. Changed up some of the supplements this week and added in some Advanced Nutrients Big Bud and Overdrive. Always liked Overdrive and when moving the bottles had more than I realized so figured I would change it up a bit......she is already fighting pH issues so no further harm. She is a very pretty little girl and she has beautiful shape. Not bending over her top seems to have been okay for this girl. Just keeping the side branches pulled apart so the light gets done the middle to bud sites😃 Nice work Sweet Seeds.....she is looking great so far.........freaking resilient dealing with pH so high!!!!!!!!!🙏🙏 Little more detail: June 6, Day 57 VPD - 1.2 3L feed - Big Bud, Vitathrive, Rezin, Liquid Weight, Velokelp, CalMag, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 5.0pH.......pH little higher today. Lots of runoff as fed late last night. Keep an eye to see the result of the higher pH. Colas more defined today. Standing up nice and looking thick today. Fairly green though so keep and eye on the nute levels. June 7, Day 58 VPD - 1.2 7L water - 285ppm and 4.4pH......checking pH in medium Runoff was 580ppm with 6.8pH Hairs are whiter now and buds are wider and stacking. June 8, Day 59 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... She is dark and bushy. June 9, Day 60 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Sensizym, Rezin, Vitathrive, Liquid Weight, Massive, Terpinator, Dual Fuel. 1150ppm and 4.2pH.......pulling down a little more since last runoff number. Fair bit of runoff from the feed. Starting to fatten up a bit more.....branches are looking larger. June 10, Day 61 VPD - 1.2 3L Feed - Overdrive, Rezin. 485ppm and 4.5pH Just some supplements and feed tomorrow. Her side branches are reaching up more and increasing the nodal spacing. Now she needs to fill that gap in😃👍 Noticing a pattern with Massive and nodal spacing????? June 11, Day 62 VPD - 1.2 Dry out day....... June 12, Day 63 VPD - 1.2 4L Feed - Terpinator, Overdrive, Rezin, Vitathrive, Sensyzime, Liquid Weight, Dual Fuel. 1380ppm and 4.5pH Hitting her and Sweet n Sour harder as they get closer to the end. She is 19” tall now and 24” wide Leaf strip to increase light penetration......lots of small leaves. Tricomb production getting going now. Nice little Cannabis plant😋😋😋

Day 43 (15 of flowering) Bud are growing far and nice, different size of orange sherbert, now is absolutely visible. Of course i need a défoliation to have some kore light under but don’t know how it react so i go really gently. I removed top max. Day 46, flowering is really most rapid than orange sherbert. Bud al ready looks fat. Structure is really Nice with a huge stem. Day 48 bud are gettoni bigger every day. Stem is huge sono think they ll get really fat and nice. Let’s see Carbon Filter next week. Let’s go

📁 Folder 11 – LSD Week 3 · VEG (12/12 from Seed) Week 3 closes with beautiful, confident growth across all plants. Uniformity is strong, vigor is consistent, and it’s becoming very clear that we are working with solid, stable genetics. Despite different timelines, all plants are responding exceptionally well to the environment, the feeding program, and the hands-on approach. ⸻ 🌱 Plant Development & Structure • 15-day VEG sister • Clearly larger and more established, as expected • Already pushing into approximately the 7th node • Strong vertical structure and well-spaced internodes • Acts as a reference point for genetic potential • 12/12-from-seed sisters • Currently working through the 3rd to 4th node • New true leaves actively emerging • If counting early single leaves, development aligns perfectly for Week 3 • All plants are remarkably similar in structure and expression Across the board, plants are showing: • Lush, healthy green coloration • Strong leaf posture • Excellent response to the soil and feeding regimen No signs of stress. No confusion. Just steady progression. ⸻ 🌿 Leaf Expression & Genetics Leaf shape, color, and texture are extremely consistent across all individuals. This level of similarity reinforces the idea that these genetics are well-selected and stable. So far: • No erratic behavior • No weak individuals • No outliers Everything feels balanced and intentional. ⸻ 💧 Watering Philosophy (Hands-On Approach) At this stage, everything is hand-watered, one plant at a time. • No automated irrigation • No connected systems • No shared reservoirs Each pot is lifted, weighed, and observed individually. Watering decisions are based on: • Pot weight • Visual cues • Leaf posture • Overall plant behavior This approach allows for: • Individual attention • Better understanding of each plant’s needs • Stronger grower–plant connection While this method will later be explained in more depth through video content, it’s important to document it here so readers understand how decisions are being made during these early stages. ⸻ 💡 Light & Environment (Baseline) Plants continue to grow into the light under a controlled PPFD range. No pushing, no forcing — just gradual adaptation. Everything else remains aligned with the locked baseline: • Stable temperatures • Balanced humidity • Consistent feeding • Clean, predictable conditions ⸻ 🔮 What to Expect • Continued node stacking and leaf expansion • Increased growth speed as root systems mature • Clearer differentiation between the 15-day VEG plant and the 12/12-from-seed plants • Preparation for more visible vertical movement in the coming weeks 🚫 What Not to Expect (Yet) • No explosive stretch just yet • No need for stronger feeding • No aggressive training • No automation at this stage Observation remains the priority. ⸻ 📝 Final Notes Week 3 confirms that LSD is thriving under this approach. The combination of strong genetics, consistent environment, and hands-on care is producing predictable, healthy results. This is one of those weeks where nothing dramatic happens — and that’s a very good sign. Everything is right where it should be. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art.
