Holy Stromboli is she going crazy with the trichomes but to be fair every strain I have ever grown from Mephisto always has a ridiculous amount of them so hats off to them but I gave her a big boost to bloom juice this week as this is peak week for her flower development so I am pushing her hard looking forward to seeing how big and beautiful she gets but let me know what yall think gromies!

The autos are doing better than they were I got a new bottle of calmag cuz the older one was old. I still could use some warmer temps. I've been turning the exhaust fan down to the lowest level but the RH goes way up. I might move them into the tent with the HPS soon which settles around 82°f but that light makes the RH go way down so this whole thing is just a pain in the nuts.

The girls have officially started to blossom, even the bubblegum seems to be slowly recovering, I'm happy with the result for now.

We back with some buckets! Time to fire up the pumps and get this show on the road. Soaked this beautiful little gem of a bean in some water until it cracked then threw it into the bucket with 100% perlite. Started them on a low dose of maxigro on day 3. Doing these diy Dutch Bucket style as always. Going to be running 8 in house genetics strains on the system with constant 24 hour a day irrigation. Not much exciting going on yet, but with a little luck that may change pretty soon.

Harvest pics. In the glass jar is pineapple gummy. Same breeder as the lilt. I forgot that I popped one of these seeds it was the last from the pack. The hanging dry pic is the rest of the pineapple gummy it was close to the gavita light and was very hairy. The big top next to it is the top of the lilt plant grown under the mars hydro 150w led light. When the feds choped it all down the lilt was given an extra week than the top which was cut off im absolutely pissed about that I didnt use a carbon filter I think the smell got a bit too strong will be back soon live and learn

Day 17, and she’s starting to show sugars from the top down. I can’t wait for a smell to develop, but when I did smell something during the first opening of the tent it smells something fruity. She’s drinking at least 4 gallons a day at this point.

Everything seems to be going great for them to all be random bag seeds! Temp is staying a little higher than I would like trying to figure out some ways to cool it down may just order some new lights!

Getting fat. Minor powdery mildew, starting night dehumidifier this week. Still aiming for 3 lbs dry bud. Ww x gdp from last years seed project.

So instead of chopping and losing anywhere from 4-8 ounces, I decided to just let them do their thing outside. I know it’s controversial to have a male outside and even more controversial to have a hermed female outside, but fuck it. I haven’t seen huge pollen deposits on leaves, and only a few open sacs, close to dropping. I pick em off if I see them. I am using small doseds of Lost Coast Plant Therapy for my IPM. It’s an all natural, “minimal risk” pesticide made using soap, soybean oil, peppermint oil, 70% iso alcohol, Sodium Citrate, Citric Acid, and water. Smells super good, does leave a slight film on the leaves because of the soap but does easily come off. I’m planning on doing 2 rounds of budwashing. Budwashing consists of: 5% hydrogen peroxide lemon juice Baking soda Water 3 five gal buckets. Fill one bucket with water and the ingredients, and then the last 2 with just water. Swish the plant matter in the first solution for 30-45 seconds, and rinse in the second two buckets of water, 20 for the first bucket and 30 for the second. Then take plant material and hang dry with a fan pointed directly on the hanging material for 2 days, and then resume normal drying conditions. Should leave no taste or residue behind and have no effect on terps or potency. I will update around august 4th-10th with finished bud pictures and the hanging plants. ALSO PICTURED: my 4 plant Webber grill turned grow container. Will show them off more once they start getting decent buds on them. As expected with regular seeds, we had both males and females, and this was the week we identified them all. From the original 12 beans, 5 revealed themselves as proud ladies while the rest — equally stunning in structure and expression — turned out to be males. 🌿 💚 Let’s talk about regular seeds and plant sex: Regular seeds are unsexed, meaning they can become either male or female. It’s a 50/50 genetic roll of the dice — and with unique mutant genetics like these, identifying sex isn’t always easy early on. Males typically show small pollen sacs, often referred to as “bananas” in their early stage. Females develop pistils, the first hairs of the flowers we’re after. Male plants, while beautiful and structurally fascinating (especially in this mutant project), can compromise a flowering room if left unchecked. Their pollen can fertilize female plants, leading to seeded buds — great if breeding, not great for clean flower. So, we say goodbye, thank them for their beauty, and move forward with the ladies to full bloom. The males?
