Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. More light they see and colder is the place,slower will be the germination and lower will be the germination ratio. *(-If your seeds are old, not good stored and with a low germination ratio, I suggest you to use Seed Booster by Plagron. Old seeds and maybe stored in a very hot place for a long time may will be death may will not never germinate). Generally a normal cotton pad is good for 3 seeds. If you follow these steps, you will hardly have problem of non-germinating seeds. I loved to use paper towel but with this metod is very easy to put too much water and it will be slow down the germination step. I ran into problems in the beginning but now I’m seeing my mistakes witch is a good thing because that means I’m learning… RDWC is definitely different then soil but I’m loving it. I also see now that I need to turn the center pot lids around so my plants aren’t going under the trellis support pole. Rookie mistakes.

Northern lights has been doing some stretching. I did hst her today, as she was getting close to the light. Hopefully she takes the hst well and makes a great bush of buds. Thank you Spider Farmer, and Pro-mix. 🤜🏻🤛🏻🌱🌱

Day 8- CRX Sunny X-5 is failing. Time for a new flowering LED. Thinking either the Viparspectra 1200w or the Mars Reflector 192 but open to suggestions for a 4x4 canopy. Day 9- more leaf tucking in the net. Decided to go with two smaller lights(Mars ECO98’s) rather than 1 big one as there’s nothing in the middle to utilize the primaryily lit area of a bigger light. Hopefully they arrive tomorrow. Day 10- Everyone happy and flowering. Topped up res with H2O. Anxiously awaiting new lighting Day11 - New lights arrived and installed. More leaf tucking. All plants are actively flowering now Day13- more tucking. Buds are beginning to stack up and seem to be liking the new lights. Day 14- more leaf tuck and H2O topup. Next week lower N. Raise PK and will likely add some RAW amino acids, and biogenic silica. Possibly some vitamin B.

These ladies are developing very nicely, the left and middle one already started to bulk heavily over the course of the last week, while the one that got wind stress is trailing a little behind and will probably take a little longer. For the other two I would guesstimate that I can start flushing by the end of the week. The trichomes on the two are completely milky, however with no signal of amber yet

Day 78 - She’s still got a little weight to her do not quite ready for some water. She’s definitely showing some deficiencies in her leaves right now but she’s coming down to the end so just gonna continue with what I’m doing until chopping. I might actually do a good flush tomorrow and give her nothing but water till the end. Day 79 - Gave her a flush today with 2 gallons of water and Foxfarm’s Sledgehammer. Now it’s just a waiting game for her to finish up. She’s showing some amber trichs so it’s looking like she’ll be getting the chop this coming weekend. Day 80 - She’s definitely started to fade quite a bit now and there is a ton of amber trichs. I’d like her to make it to the weekend but I’ll chop her sooner if need be. I think she’ll be ok and make it though. Day 81 - More and more ambers showing everyday and I’m hoping she’ll make it till the weekend to get chopped. If I gotta chop sooner, I will. Her buds are nice and fat so looking like this is going to be an awesome harvest. Day 82 - Nothing new, just waiting until the weekend to chop. Possibly Friday after work!

Week 9, Day 63, Day 19 of Flower. Once again all is going well, girls are doing nicely. PK1 is still larger than PK2 but PK2 is getting larger also. Buds are starting to bulk and some nice colas starting to form. I am very pleased with how they are doing. After this coming week 4 of Flower I am going to switch to only KoolBloom 2-45-28 for 2 to 3 weeks at a 1/4 tsp/gallon. Any suggestions or comments?

This was an explosive growth week, usually always is for me between week 3 & 4 is where I see the outcome of the early LST at week 3 which in most cases I doubt myself still to this day. If you look at day 15 she looks like she’s been through some weird transformation. Now here we are exactly the outcome I was expecting. By the formation and structure of this beauty, I can already say she will be a beast. I’ve now LST all other tops and will ensure to keep an even canopy with regards to height and remove foliage that inhibits lower sites from receiving adequate lighting. I prefer having 80% top tier AAA grade cannabis by using this technic (will requires lollipopping and removing lower nods in 2 weeks time) then having bigger yields but more popcorn buds, less density etc. Week 5 will see the introduction of Liquid Weight (natural sugars) to aid with the flower formation, essential carbohydrates the plant needs for good bud development. Pre-flowers have started but I will maintain Veg nutrients for now and switch the Bloom once the flowering is more prominent.
