Humidity has been the biggest struggle. The dehumidifier I bought was complete useless only moved RH 1% down. Tried a couple different things to try to combat the excessively high RH (75+%) openings up extra flaps in the tent didn’t work so I decided to turn on my carbon Filter fan. Which seems to be maintaining it at 55%, however prior to me being able to start my fan I had to clear the water out of my exhaust ducting. It had accumulated at least 1/4 gal of water, this to me was a clear indication of my humidity problem. Another thing I want to rant about is PH pens I haven’t been able to find a pen worth a damn and yes I have been properly handling them. My first one died on a watering day and I didn’t have a back up so I ordered two more off amazon which don’t seem to be working well either. I ended up doing it the old school way with the drops and shaking it in a tester. Oh I also gave nutrition a break past two feedings I had a slight burn on the tips will probably do one more plain water then put her back on nutrition. Went back to nutrition early then I intend due to a slight nitrogen deficiency I don’t thing it’s gonna be a big issue just gonna continue to monitor.

I smell trouble :/ well, actually the smell changed dramaticaly and I was overwelmed after opening the tent. But the trouble I smell are brown spots on the leafes that appeared on few more places. Maybe fungi? Did some googling and now I am not sure of anything :/ Other than that she seems healthy and is only affected on few places so I am not going to change anything in fertilizing for now. However I did took some steps...more defoliation to increase air streaming trough center of the plant, increased fan speed, disconect from autopot and dry out the root, took away (hopefully) all of the affected leafs. She was given 8ml of BIO PK5-8 together with 4ml of orgatrex diluted in 2 lit of water. I will keep hand watering her with orgatrex only during next 2 days before I need to leave again. Could that be lack of nutrientes as I am acctually keeping her in autopots most of the time?

DWC stripped to the wood no suckers only AAAA quality buds I’m looking for especially if she’s a leafier bud. It’ll be a challenge keeping her in Veg any longer but still looking at minimum two week before she sees the flower tent. Week 7 Flower, frosty, smells great, she really puts on the weight late flower so it’ll be interesting to see where she stops.

8/7 Plants were still heavy this morning. Temperatures have been much milder. 70's is much better than 90's. I had to water twice a day for a while. I defoliated ahind found some heat stress ob the gmo canary on the end with some twisted leaves. Some leaves are turning purple on an event horizon and gmo. Night Temps are much cooler plus its probably a pheno thing. I defoliated everything dead yesterday. Found lacewind eggs. Saw an adult green lace wing this morning in the garden along with a couple more lady bugs. There were also some lady bug larvae so I hope the go right to town. It's getting cooler so if I'm going to poorly I need to do it. Sherb pie plant seems to he the pillars favorite. I've killed a few of them. Still need to fix supports and do a little more defoliation. I have a video too but it's too slow to upload now. ITS LESS THAN A BRANCH OFF THE CROP IT COULD HARM. LUCKILY I HAD BAGGED IT UP BEFORE IT BEIBG REMOVED AND IT WAS FAIRLY WELL SEPERATED. Estas plantas se desarrollaron de esquejes. Hay dos plantas en cada balde de 10L. L a técnica que utilizo es ninguna técnica, solo espero a que se desarrollen y maduren. Lo único que hago es controlar el ph y cambiar la solución nutritiva cada semana. Todos los días verifico que el ph esté cerca de 6. A veces puede ser 5.8 o 6.5 de ph y eso no es un problema. Lo único que se me está complicando es la extracción del aire. No tengo dudas que en algún momento lo soluciones adquiriendo nuevos productos. El sistema que utilizo es la hidroponía. Se me hace más cómodo el sistema. No me gusta mover o utilizar tierra ya que es muy sucio y se mueve mucho volumen.

Plantas sanitas. 3era semana de flora.

Se reparo el problema con el riego que se vio la semana anterior y se prosigue con 3 riegos semanales, lunes, miercoles y sabados. La altura de las plantas va de los 40 a los 85cm un promedio de 62cm. Las flores empiezan a tomar volumen.

Not much vertical height change this week, 15cm. Flowering stretch slowing down. That's bad news for me after her first 3 weeks being very slow growing. I missed the window for good veg growth by (I think...) low temps in the tent. As a very small plant cold roots stunts growth. Being an auto you cannot extend the veg period so I'm stuck with her being a very small plant. Nutrients as above added to 10L water along with 5g of 20-20-20 powdered fertiliser. Still... if we're always learning nothing is lost. Just data in the memory bank.

Overall, I am extremely happy with the genetics of the Auto Euforia and the general success of the grow. I always like to reflect on mistakes I have made, so let me lay them out here: I overlit the plant during veg, contributing to it's bushy nature. It grew well but this would be a waste of electricity if I was growing more commercially. During the last week of flower, my region of Ontario was hit with tons of rain and humidity. I took some steps to increase circulation of dehumidified air, but lowering 95rh to 65-70rh is still insufficient and I lost some control of the environment. The awful result was the start of mold in some select areas, particularly in the fattest buds and where leaves were cut away and petioles remained. This issue is not due to Dutch Passions great genetics, and is entirely due to a combination of an unseasonable environment and my own overconfidence. This mold was never clearly apparent on the outside of the buds, but I found it will trichomes scouting under magnification. This forced me to speed up the harvest and drying process. It also means that I have had to carefully grade the buds into those safe for smoking and vaping, those mold free but needing a second examination (will be rosin pressed), and those close enough to spots of mold to be only for for edibles. Any moldy bud was of course cut away and will be disposed of. Nevertheless, I have many ounces of fantastic buds, and will be making some nice pressed rosin based 510 cartridges. I will edit the harvest post with more information after the cure, and showing the various processing I will be doing. Happy growing! 🌱
