Plant growing phenomenally really filled out the entire net and ready to let her grow up for the next week or two. Making tea as of today May 31st. Tea is made of worm castings, a little craft blend, a little big 6, and some blackstrap molasses. I plan on watering her with this tea starting June 1st. I added some European night crawlers today. They looked dead when I got them but I added them to the pot and everyone disappeared so evidentially they are still kicking. Pot already has red wigglers for topsoil aeration these guys will help aerate deeper in the root zone It’s been 7 days since flip. It needs a defoliation but I always wait at least 14 days especially in living soil. I’ll do a heavy defoliation at day 14 and likely another smaller one on day 42. Really looking forward to see how this thing flowers. Really interesting strain. Picked it up from a really legit lab in Michigan. They have tissue cultures for most cannabis cup winners; this strain is a bit of a no namer though. Seems like it was bred by a gentlemen known as kick flip genetics, looking at his cuts he clearly has access to high quality genomes, must be a reason this lab decided this was worth producing. I’ll find out God bless Edit June 1st: Noticed what could be some PM on a singular lower leaf likely due to humidity in the 70s so decided to do a pretty heavy defoliation. Did a lollipop for the first time ever. With lower leaf mass being removed the humidity is sitting around 55 now. Interested to see if the lollipop actually pushes energy to those top buds. I hate to do a defoliation at this point in flower(7 days into stretch) but she’s got plenty of leaves left and should recover quick God bless

A week ago today I did some major defoliation. Somebody had looked at my pictures and said it look like a pile of leaves. She was right. I decided to open things up to let light on more bud sites. I went kind of nuts. But one week later and I think the plants look much better. Light gets down much deeper now. I have two King tuts one white widow and one Obi-Wan Kush. The 2 king Tutts are taking over my room. The white widow is 1/ third less the size. And the Obi-Wan Kush is turning into a runt. It’s hard to keep the king Tutts from shadowing out the other two smaller plants. I’ve tied some branches back with string to open things up some more. I’m starting to get impatient. I know I’ve got five or six weeks left. But I am sitting around the house, with the quarantine in effect. I grossly missjudged my weed consumption And I’m dry and looking at these plants. Come on May 15! That’s my potential target date.

Day 1 Flower (Day 43) Wooohoooo! First day of flower! I decided to flip both plants after all. The thing is that I will be fully vaccinated against Corona by mid-July, and when that is done, I'm off on vacation. After 1,5 years of this pandemic crap, I'm more than ready to travel again, to see the world, meet new people, and have new experiences. So yeah, this strain is supposed to be a fast flowering strain (45 days!), so mid-July should do it. I switched to the Flower Induction light recipe in my main tent, and I will let that recipe run for some days before I switch over to the regular Flower recipe. The tiny tent has nothing so fancy and was switched to a regular 12/12 schedule. Speaking about lights. That cheap budget light that I bought for my veggies when I moved in my ViparSpectra light into the tiny tent broke down after only two days. So much for trying to save a bit by buying something cheap. I've already sent it back and won't get another light as I think the tomatoes and chilis are ready to move outside. I'll wait and buy this fall instead, but I won't go for the cheapest light I can find then. lol I was foliar feeding the girls with filtered compost tea while they were still sleeping. I only spray when the lights are out to avoid any leaf burns. A few hours later, after the girls woke up, I gave them each around 3 liters of unfiltered pH 6.2 compost tea. I FINALLY remembered to pH the compost tea. Woooooo!!! That was all today. Day 2 Flower (Day 44) Today was a really busy day. I opened the tents, took pics, closed up the tents. Phew! Exhausting. Day 3 Flower (Day 45) Alright, today was a bit more work than yesterday but still fairly relaxed. I watered the girls; the left one got 3 liters, and the right one got 4.5 liters of pH 6.0 water. I noticed a bit of light bleaching on the girl in the small tent, so I turned down the light a bit and increased the distance to the canopy. It is very tight in there, but that is expected with such a small tent. I will need to raise the light more in the future, and I'll probably have to resort to a bit of MacGyver-ism to make it work but that's a problem for a later day. The girl in the main tent has a bit of an uneven canopy where the left side is taller, so I raised the left light as the light level was around 1300 PPFD. I also super-cropped half a dozen branches to slow them down and let the rest of the canopy catch up. It's probably the last training I do before the girls go into flower. Finally, I did a bit of defoliating by removing a few leaves that weren't getting any light low down on the girls. Day 4 Flower (Day 46) Fuck. Disaster struck. I opened the main tent today and found that the CO2 bag had fallen down and broken one of the main branches. That one branch is responsible for about a quarter of the canopy, so losing it would suck. I got busy right away taping the broken branch and used some old chili stalks to support the branch further. I also watered it with around 1.5 liters of pH 6.5 water hoping that it will be beneficial. Now, all I can do is wait and hope for the best. For those of you who have been following this diary, you already know that I dislike this CO2 bag because it smells like shit. Literally. Now though, I really hate this friggin shit bag and its weird hanging contraption that is as shitty as the smell from the bag. Day 5 Flower (Day 47) So far so good. Last night, I checked in on her a couple of hours after I taped the broken branch and the left side of the canopy was already back up with no drooping leaves or branches. YES! However, it was still nerve-wracking to open the tent today but she looked just fine. Fingers crossed that it holds. Naturally, I don't want to disturb her much right now so all I did today was to water her and carefully LST a couple of branches that got messed up yesterday. I gave her 2 liters of pH 6-0 water and 1 liter of water to the girl in the small tent. Speaking of the small tent. There's some light bleaching on the tips of the leaves closest to the light so I turned down the dimmer even further down to 40%. I need to try to raise the light but can only gain another 5-7 cm. The tent is soo tiny lol. Will be interesting to see if she will even fit in there after the stretch is done. I also raised the lights in the main tent as the canopy was getting a bit close. That was it for today. Day 6 Flower (Day 48) Chill day today. All I did today was to water the girls 3 liters each of pH 6.5 water. Day 7 Flower (Day 49) Today was the end of a rather tumultuous first week of flower. It looks like I got lucky, though, and that the branch on the right girl will survive. She is growing strong and loving life. I am hopeful. She is a big girl and drinks a lot, so I'm watering her every day (around 10% of pot volume), and I gave her 3 liters of pH 6.4 water today. The left girl didn't need any, so I just measured both girls, snapped some pics and videos before zipping up both tents. The left girl is 50 cm tall (12 cm increase in a week), and the right girl is 77 cm tall (31 cm increase in a week!)

Let’s go Day 36 !!! This week went real great, girls built up a lot of structure, and stayed super healthy ! Today they got fed just water phd at 6.5 ! They been really loving that balance! I also removed a lot of under trim since we are going into preflower , so had to shave up those legs lol ! It’s really great for them , the love that airflow , but don’t take off too much or you could shock your plants so be careful ! Can’t wait to see what these girls do this week ! Like most beginners I am very impatient. Therefore the following question can I be satisfied with growth so far ? I haven't used any fertiliser so far because I put pre-fertilised soil in the pot when I repotted it. It hasn't received much water yet either, I drowned a plant before, so I have become cautious. I'm starting to think about training her, because I'm very limited in height. 5.5. 80ml 7.5. 100ml 11.5. 240m

Veg Week 3 The Plants DAY 22 - Transplanted T.O.5. Not Root Bound, but definitely could see the bright white roots all around the container. The plant started stretching almost immediately. So cool to see plants move. DAY 26 - Finished Transplanting for this week-- T.O. 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 13 to ~1 gallon pots. Watering Starting watering every day toward the end of the week (Day 26). Days are starting to get warmer. Growing in fabric pots in Southern California typically requires daily watering starting in June. I've learned through the years that the plant just sucks up the water and boosts in size. The more water you can give it without rotting the roots - the bigger the plant. There are still differences in strains - some plants just like to get dry before the next drenching. Couple more weeks until the June solstice (June 20). Nutrients Building up the arsenal in my cupboard--Bud Candy + Overdrive from AN, Kelp Meal from Down To Earth. I usually don't add too much stuff because the soil is fairly loaded from the bag.

Week 5 day 1. I have a favourite for next run. I’m very happy, I haven’t really defoliated at all this grow, just letting it grow. Wish I was going for mains(topping) but still very good. Going to wait around week 9 so seeds will be good for next run. I have decided to do very hard hst next round to show max potential. Very happy with supercropping so will do it very heavy with scrog. I will try to reveg the one I really like but it is difficult having only 1 set of lights and 1 tent. Plants are about 7ft tall, might just run 2 next round in 4x8 or will still continue to go 4 in the 4x8.

I tried to let her bloom for 2 more weeks..but she had some mold and had to cut some away. Sow shortened bloom by one week. However she is ready do.last so.

Esta semana dos riegos con Bio Estimulantes, una aplicación foliar a principios de semana y he añadido una mezcla de enmiendas secas para alimentar al sustrato y a la Microbiología La planta se desarrolla muy saludable y compacta, ajusto regularmente las ataduras de las ramas para controlar la altura e igualar, en lo que pueda, la altura de todas las plantas de la carpa de cultivo, el objetivo es conseguir una altura máxima de 70cm para todos los cultivos, todavía quedan al menos 3 semanas de crecimiento, la actual, con horario de 20/4h, y las dos siguientes con horario de floración 12/12h, mientras tanto sigo intentando aplastar mis cultivos con intensidad de luz, he habilitado mis 3 lámparas principales del dosel al 100% de intensidad y a 15-20cm de los ápices, hasta que la planta pare de crecer voy a conservar los dos COB azules y el panel, las 3 lámparas con 450nm, cuando pare el crecimiento y comience la pre flora haré un cambio radical de estas lámparas y añadiré otras, para esta temporada tengo preparado un gran arsenal de luces para floración con espectros de color con muchos rojos y naranjas imitando al sol de agosto y septiembre (2100K, 2400K, 2700, 660nm, IR, UV)... todo por la causa! Saturday 18th day 18 of 12/12 The jacks toe jam was looking a little hungry so, i gave it a pint of Bac PK booster and bloom stimulator. For the rest I will use biotabs pk compost tea and molasses, when the time is right. More tying down for the rest and some defoliation. I also added some nematodes on the 12th as I have a couple of little gnats buzzing about. Apart from that, I have just been carrying out daily checks for any buglife and any signs of male parts.
