Greetings my dear Jungletamers, So a major surprise came when @MarsHydroLED contacted us and asked if would like to try out their new SP 3000 light. Being a fan of Mars Hydro for years, we of course accepted their offer. We are totally in love with this light. I was when I saw it in another grower's setup and was in awe of its output and results. So with much pride and thankfulness for the presents the Universe bestowed on us, in the form of MarsHydroLEDS offer and the bountiful harvest of the last grow, (which I am thoroughly enjoying btw, such a great weed to have grown ourselves) we start out on a new adventure that we can't wait to share with you. With many lessons learned from the previous grow, a mighty producing strain in the form of Expert Seeds Gorilla Glue #4, a.k.a Expert Gorilla's and a tweaked super soil mixture, we are setting out to hopefully get over a gram per watt, preferably 1.5. The Setup A 4.5 (140 cm) x 2(70) x 6.2 (200) grow tent, giving me a .98 m2 workspace. This space is customized to my needs. A standing fan will provide airflow through the whole grow, a top fan will help guide cooler air past my lights onto the grow. 3 56 ltr pots will be the home for the plants when they are 2 weeks old, up to then in smaller jars. The Light The leading role and star of the show will be played by the Mars Hydro SP-3000, so kindly provided by MarsHydroLED, which we will test and review here and I might say, endorse. I'm very careful with who I endorse and support these days, but a company with that many wins in design, I'm talking ever since their first range came out in 2009 these guys have been raising the bar for the whole industry, I did not hesitate to support this leading brand. If you want to compete with these guys, you better bring some quality AND affordable pricing. Why do I endorse the SP-3000 without ANY hesitation? It is seriously THE BEST light on the market in this price range and size group. It has an enormously effective output in U/Mol and with 30% less energy waste comparing to older LED lights. Prove me wrong! And with a company holding a considerable market share selling thousands of units every month, competing on price and quality, one would think that customer service would suffer. Of course, also Mars Hydro is not perfect, but check the sheer amount of people that not only praise the light but also the service received, should the light somehow not perform up to par. It is this dedication to their customer base that made this company have a fanbase... Yes, a fanbase with a website and a wiki. Lineage: Chem Sis x Chocolate Diesel x Sour Dubb Popularity: Extremely Popular Flavor/Aroma Profile: Chocolate, Earthy, Fuel Yield: 400 g/m2 Stress Tolerance: High resistance to disease Potency: 24% THC Flowering time: 58 - 63 days The Soil: Those who saw my Monstercropped Gelato #33 grow (you should see it if you didn't, I'm so proud of that grow), know about my super soil and organic nutrients/ permaculture tea combo that starred in my previous diary. Because of the great results, we are going to use the same recipe, adjusted some more with some new ingredients that will complete the mix and give an even more sustained super soil buffer. 20% Atami Bi-grow (very similar to ocean forest) 20% Atami worm castings 20% Atami Coco Coir 10% Hydrocorn 10% Peat powder 1 cup Fossil seaweed chalk 1 cup bonemeal 1 cup bloodmeal 1 cup Microlife 3-4 teaspoons of epsom salt 3 cups of activated biochar (activated with our own permaculture tea) I just made layers, starting with hydro corn on the bottom to aid airflow/run-off. On this I started layering the coco coir, Bi-grow, peat, castings, and amendments in a way that the more mature the plants get, the more phosphorous and less nitrogen they will find. Every time I made three layers, I would mix them by hand. This way we simulate natural soil, which consists of humic layers, composting plant waste, fungal and microbial life, and nutrients from fossilized sources. The Nutrients I will start with just adding 6.4 PH water, although this soil should buffer ph itself and regulate, after 4 weeks, I'll slowly be adding: - Biobizz Grow - Plagron Alga Grow - Biobizz CalMag - Biobizz Flower - Plagron Alga Flower - Biobizz Topmax - Melasses The Tea Some of you might remember the permaculture tea from my previous grow, I have a short video in my harvest page showing how we make it), it will star again in this grow. - (Rain)water - Comfrey (whole plants) - Dandelion leaves - Roots and leaves from the earlier grow - Minor periwinkle (Finca minor) is a plant we have in our garden, it contains an alkaloid that is associated with increased brain function but also is a light toxin for wee beasties and other unwanted guests like gnats (who hate it). - When flowering I add some wood ash to this mix Thank you for checking in on one of my grows again! She's developing a thick fat sticky main cola, very beautiful strain, short distance between nodes, compact very dense flowrs, and very strange smell to me, had never ever tried something so citric like this. It's a very orange sweet juice smell, very pleasant, I can't wait to dry and cure a little this flowers to be able to feel the ultimate flavor and power from this genetic, stay tuned guys!! ❤️💚💛

nice harvest , very resinious , gluing my fingers. i ll update when it will be dry. i hope something like 100g on this plant but i will be happy if i have 80g. i dried a bud in oven to try the effect , it's mainly indica effect, goos to watch a movie or doing relax activity, to drawing, or making music.

She's looking so beautiful,very nice strain to grow for sure,I'm trying to give her a good shape before flowering starts. I add organic liquids nuts only once a week and looks like she loves it,let's keep up the work!! 💚💛❤️🌱🤩

Flowering week 4 ---> Indoor plant: Nothing special this week. She stop to growing and making buds. Flowers become more bigger and dense with a strong smell.💪 The soil dry out very quickliy. I waterd it with 4lt of water (pH 6.5) and half tab of EASY BLOOM BOOSTER TABLET from Royal Queen Seeds one time the first day of the week and another time the last day of the week with other 4lt of water and half tab of EASY BLOOM BOOSTER TABLET. I removed the yellowing bottom leaves. Temperature grow box---> 22-26 °C Umidity grow box ---> 45 - 55 % Outdoor plants: They stop to growing and they start to make many beautiful big flowers. I water them with 6.5 pH water and Atami 1 Component every time they dry out. This week i waterd them with 2 lt of 6.5 pH water and 5ml/L Atami 1 Component for each plant.

Hi! I‘m very happy with the result, After I did a wet trim of the plant, I let her dry for About 1 week @ 20 Degree, 60 RH . The Diele is quite good, I like the density of the Bud. The size is quite small, But they are Heavy. I‘m excited for a tasting and smoke Review ;)

There loving the 12/12 light cycle thays forsure!

A good week for ICC photo. I topped her and started bending branches for some horizontal development. Once she’s covering the entire pot with some budsites and tops I will let her start stacking nodes vertically. I am using “garden hooks” I’ve made with metal food skewers and will use those to bend and guide branches outwards. Feed is the same really and I am really digging it so far, Gaia green and coco loco for a supersoil type grow in regards to waterings and feeds. No ph checking, no dechlorinating water, just tapwater and a few add ins like fishshit and recharge, a seaweed/kelp foliar, and worm castings/topdresses. Trying this routine out and hope to be able to reamend the pot and drop again. This plant is in midweek5 of veg and has about 6-8 weeks to go before I can flip her to flower.

OK, im doing an update now becouse my breakup cake is going tranny!!(hermie) I already have noiticed she was not growing as strong .. but u can blame that on anything , especially when growing outdoor.. but this morning i saw that she was g(r)oing 'bananas'!😢 I have put her aside from the rest (in the back of garden) but think gonna have to terminate her asap!..(and i will, right after this post👍) The weed she will give will be filled with seeds and those seeds will be hermies too, so wothless.. and if i dont throw her away quick she can infect the rest. So goodbye breakup cake..😢 who wants to eat a cake when they are breaking up anyway..😒 (just hiding my pain with lame humour 😳) happy growing for all ✊

Well Well Well, So much to say, so little time to say it. Fist things first: we are now in a 8 x 8, which is a landmark upgrade in my path to learning all I can about cannabis. Larger growing space allows you to work freely, comfortably even. It was about time and long overdue. Within 48 hours from being moved to the 8x8 each and every plant started to grow exponentially: I must admit, I think this tangy was a goner. I didn't touch her and fed her normally with little more run off. She surprised me when I saw her getting twice bigger in a week. I think we are gearing up to flower at this stage, so I will give her as much room and light as she can get. I am heavily into LST as I plan to maximise all those potential bud sites. She is showing vigor and will likely surprise us all. Unlike all previous times with tangy, I am not detecting any terms or lemolene from the stems as of yet. Now bathed in light by on all angles and with room to explode, I look forward to she how she does

(9th feb) So these girls are now entering week 5 and with small space comes challenges as these girls have really started too lift off growth wise as you can see 2 of the girls icc are tall and the remaining shorter girls are toronjaz all happy and healthy... still no defoliation I have chosen not too took these girls only a topping and leaf tuck here & there and wow they are loving life under aptus nutrients 🌱 They are thriving into this week where I will be tucking a few more leaves before flip in roughly a week or so time 🙏 Finally grow diaries has let me update with images and videos and I'll be updating my fastbuds diary tomorow too These girls are sailing through each week and I'm really happy using aptus nutrients I have topped 1/2 and all have responded great under aptus nutrients which I'm really loving using atm. These girls will have another 2 weeks untill flip too 12 hours light but these aptus fed girls I expect too boom in flower 😍😅 We shall deal with that issue when it arrives 🤣 Happy growing! 💚

Day 63 Harvested 70% of the plant, going to let the bottoms get some extra days to put on some weight. Really looking forward to her drying out and trying her in maybe a weeks time.

Guys, i don’t know where is going to take me but this trip is being awesome, as i wanted, the critikal plant has grown in spiral and she is developing a lot of little new leaves, growing gorgeous but im a newbie, i don’t not if its fem or not until flowering I guess (?) Cookies was growing superslow and i don’t know why i topped it but she is recovering now, might not grow because of then injury I know this “advanced” training methods are gonna make the growing stage last another month at least for sure I have improved moist levels by spraying them quite a few times daily, tap water with 1ml of propolis 5% every 0.5L and have turned the ph correct with some natural orange juice, a few drops use to be enough I turn the heather on sometimes and it comes with fan so perf but im worried the most of the time they are with low airflow levels due to the fact i have not a proper space and they are in a corner of my room

Decided to Veg for one more week!! I am watering the Mimosa and Jaeger with the Humboldt Secrets A+B 9ml each and Golden Tree with 2ml. I also added CalMag 1/2 tsp. I also put Great White Mico in the pp mixture and Big Foot in the mixture for MM and Jae. I used only Raw Grow about 2 tsp with a 1/4 tsp of cal mag in the instructions let's see how it goes. Dec 30. The plants needed defoliating pp the most I stretched the tops down a little further and trimmed mimosa a bit as well. Got the outer growth to the pot edges to encourage proper light penetration. I can tell I am going to have tons of bud sites!!

I am harvesting Critical x Animal cookies today. She was stunned in the beginning due to a error on my part with a solution that was too strong. Plus she went through a week of neem oil treatments in vegging when I had a outbreak of 2 different mites in my garden. So everything got treated then. When she was growing right she grew great under the Hortibloom Solux 350. So she is comming down today. Her number is being called on the cannatrol. Plus she is ready. I will at least get a good little sample of this bud from this grow. It looks really good.
