Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. So far, everything is going according to plan. The girl became more hungry, it turned out to be necessary to supplement with mineral (already on the way).

Everything is still going good for this week just giving 6.2 PH Tap water with a bubbler for 24 hours before I fill my Reservoir. July 2 when my lights came back on at 5pm I decided to Defoliate these two girls and add a ScrOG net for some extra support and some tucking for the leaves. July 6th last day of week 8 I took the other two plants in the back out of the tent today so I can flip these to 12 on 12 off.

Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

Stretch is done and flowers are piling on now! I treated with lost coast as a preventative. I kept the feed the same but it will be altered end of grow week. Canopy is getting hella full can't wait to watch these colas stack on. Until next update. Happy growing and stay lit fam.

DAY 35 FLOWERING: Hi all. I hope you have been busy and stress free since the last update. It has been a fairly straight forward week for the ladies this week with all their efforts now being focused on building bud sites and developing terpenes. The smell has really picked up with any contact leaving a smell behind that is so candy swèet. I have also deliberately not watered for the past 6 days to stress them a little with a drying out and panic. As horrible as that may sound , it is to hopefully push the ladies to produce more oil/trichromes to stay supple and put out their scent to drag the pollinators in quicker. This has had a very positive effect on the Amnesia haze with a definable build up . Not as noticable on the Girl scout cookies but will hopefully be of a similar effect there too. The #1 GSC needed the watering yesterday though along with the critical cheese. Both had begun to show signs of too much stress so I gave them a biosys tea/ecothrive charge and top dress with life-cycle. They looked a lot happier 24 hrs later ( today) The other ladies will be fed later with their usual feeds but i will also give them a little biosys tea too. The drought has matured the buds on the G.s.c quite quickly and hopefully they will send lots of new pistils to refresh the flowers and bulk them up again. A very stable week with no real issues. At the halfway point now with the bud porn the next stage. Life didn't get much better. Lol Be safe and well

Feb 22nd Plants are doing well but they seam to have stunted They are growing lots of branches but not growing in length Also I have been having difficulty keeping my PH balanced out Feb 25th I have taken all of the tie downs off because these plants are stunted I have decided to do a flush of the system, and put in fresh nutes. I will also flush each plant with a few gallons of pure PH’d water I will put the new nute strengths on next week’s update As for now I am going to feed just PH’d water @ 6.0 Feb 28th Plants have responded well to flushing New growth showing so I have resumed LST

In my experience, this technique helps the plants transition more smoothly and accelerates their hormonal shift into flowering. It’s a method that has consistently worked well for me, and I encourage growers to explore different approaches to find what best suits their setup. The Power of Reds - Far Red & Deep Red As part of this transition, we have introduced far red and deep red lighting. These are turned on 15 minutes before the main whites and stay on for 15 minutes after. The reason? This simulates the natural sunrise and sunset effect, which helps optimize the flowering response and enhances overall plant development. The red spectrum plays a crucial role in promoting stretch and enhancing bud formation early on. Light Schedule - 11/13 Cycle From the start of flower, we are running an 11 hours light / 13 hours dark schedule. Over the years, I’ve found this lighting strategy beneficial in inducing faster flower onset, increasing terpene production, and ultimately producing better-quality fruits. This is something I personally swear by, but as always, I encourage others to experiment and see what works best for their unique environments. Spending Time with the Girls One of my favorite parts of the grow is spending time with the plants, enjoying some good medicine, and simply being present in the garden. The connection we have with our plants is invaluable, and I believe they truly respond to the energy we bring. It’s a labor of love, and every moment spent with them contributes to their health and vitality. Not much to report this week. Buds keep getting fatter and still producing new white pistills. Going to tie the side branches as well as they almost bent to the ground.

The girls are developing properly, frosting is beginning to be clearly visible.Also the smell has become clear and very intense.White Widow X Big Bud is the most noticeable.From today, the girls are switching to a different spectrum of light, UV light will be added.

Daaaayum hot week last week, worried about 2 plants showing some wierd main buds, but it’s hopefully the heat. Smell is pretty nice and got some juicy fruits growing on them trees! ❤️

Good growth on them little bit of nutrients burn on the northern lights. Won’t get much out that small one but I just couldn’t let it go

It updated. Finally. So a week ago this was a seed. She has sprouted and is getting acclimated. She looks good. I soaked the coco, and made sure ph is adjusted right. I then proceeded to add light feed of the plagron nutrition. Which will also help keep ph stable. So everything is looking good. 04.11--> Pistil appeared 6 days after changing the light pattern to 12-12. They're growing faster than I expected, won't fit in the cabin 😬 07.11--> One of the plants turned out to be male. I saw buds with pollen sacs and moved them away from the cabin. This was not nice. I will not be able to get close to the harvest amount I planned. 😔
