Day 14 flowering: A great week for stretch among all the ladies this week. The Banana mash got a clean out and minor defoliate as they desperately needed it. They can now breath a bit better and airflow can get around the bases far better. The #1 isna nice size and looks very happy tonget in with growing unheeded. The #2, #3 and #4 are not so grown up and need Daddy to keep helping out !. #2 is not a happy girl from being overfed. She has a nitrogen claw around the bud sites and has now been given plain water to relieve the toxicity hopefully. The others have absorbed the feeds and not shown any signs but sjebseems to need less food. The #1 and #2 Purple Monkey are really focused on their bud growth now it seems while the # 3 is still stretching and sharing the energy around I have had to supercrop a few of her bigger mains to stop them touching the lights and her node distances are still widening with the stretch. 2 differently structured phenotypes are at play now and clearly different. I am very impressed with these genetics and wish I had a room full of them now..... The mimosa x exotic crosses are doing well too with the Mango X Mimosa gaining some speed now and definitely a lady. Exciting to see what she buds like now. The Exotic ? is starting to lengthen her branches finally. I have moved her to the end to encourage the gains upward. she isnt in female mode yet but is showing some signs of a reveal. The heat waves we keep getting are driving temps up to the 30° s. Thankfully running with the doors open helps as does having the exhale bag to offer more co2. I have a new viparspectra xs1500 to add to the room now too but it is a 150w and a really neat little unit so should be easily to add. plans afoot on this one.... Well that's it for this one Growmies . be safe and well until the next time.

Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪!

1/14: This morning, I did a foliar application of big bloom and fulvic acid, then about 5 hours later I watered them with about a half-gallon of rainwater each and added armor si, humic acid, endoboost myco/tricho, liquid molasses, and a bunch of cal-mag. Today, I also I wired up and mounted my new samsung sun board strips (660nm/730nm) and my Solacure FlowerPower UVB fixture. I'm running the deep red/far red bud boosters a few hours per day right now, but will run them for the entire photoperiod once I start flowering them. I'll run the UVB for 4 * 15-minute sessions a day for the full flowering cycle, and if they don't protest too much I'll increase each session by 5 minutes and evaluate again. Some strains are more forgiving than others and I've got 5 different strains in this space...so really not sure much time I'll get away with exposing them to the deadly rays without damaging them too much...😈 1/15: I received one of the rapid led/growmau far red initiator pucks today. With the placement of my UVB light, I'm realizing I'll need another far red puck to have even and intense far red coverage, so I'm ordering another with Prime delivery and waiting to start flowering until I receive it. I sprayed them down really well with ph adjusted rainwater tonight to rinse off nutrient build-up from foliar applications. 1/16: I'm really excited to try flowering under 14/10. I grew photos indoors on an off for 15 years before I semi-retired. If I added up all the additional flowering time I could have done through the years if LED technology existed, I'd have had an extra truckload of bud to smoke. I did another application of Axiom Harpin a|b Proteins this evening, right before dark. I'm expecting a big growth burst this week, leading up to the flower stretch. I really need them to trigger under 14/10 within 4 or 5 days🙏 ...if not, I'll switch to 13/11 and wait a few more days🙏😟..if still no pistils are poppin, I'll go to 12/12 and chalk it up as bad luck or varietal indifference to Pr and Pfr manipulation. 1/17: I fed each of them about 3/4 gallon of full strength veg nutes. This will be the last. I'll go with half-strength veg and half-strength bloom for a week, then go with full strength bloom nutrients until I start flushing them in 6-8 weeks. 1/18: I installed the second far-red flowering initiator today and got all my timers configured for flowering: ========================================= timer#1 - power strip with qb's and red boosters 10:00am -12:00am timer#2 - (dual/independent setting) sideA- 3-way cube with uva bars 10am - 3pm 7pm - 11pm sideB- flowerpower uvb 1pm - 1:15pm 4pm - 4:15pm 7pm - 7:15pm 11pm - 11:15pm timer#3 - far red pucks 11:00pm - 12:15am timer#4 - sub-canopy tube 10am - 1pm 3pm - 6pm 8pm - 11pm ======================================== I also did some testing on the timers and sealed myself into the closet to check for any light leaks. All good.👌 1/19: Tonight is their first long night. It's ON!👍 1/19: Looks like the FIM job didn't take on one of them..but she's got perfect symmetry. WIll probably have to just top her again next week...gonna be a tall one I think. Tonight is their first long night. It's ON!👍 1/20: I watered them today with about a half gallon each. I'm seeing calcium and magnesium deficiences here and there, so added some boomerang and heavy cal-mag-Fe along with liquid molasses, humic acid, and endoboost myco. I also foliar fed with big bloom and fulvic acid. That's it for week 4-

// Day 72 She is getting there. Buds slowly start to bulk up. But she still has a least 3 weeks in her pockets. What a long, fudging grow this is, especially for an autoflower plant. She is vigorous and enormous tho! She got her first feeding since 4 days ago because the weather was bad for 2 days straight. Which means that she didn't drink as much as she normally does. I also kept her inside to not take any risks in flowering. By that I realised how much she reeeeeeeeeks. Like really, sometimes when you grow on the balcony you don't really get the stankyness from the plants since you have so many different smells ouside. But shit, when she was in my room for 2 days, she perfumed the whole apartment. Otherwise, nothing really to share. Her progress is steady, it's simple cruising in this stage of cultivation.

This one was Baked in Paris by PerfectTreeSeeds, grown with GreenPlanetNutrients only! Check the other weeks to see the ones with AptusPlantTech! Great zkittles terpz, awesome structure, beautiful colours. So, this is the one I liked the most since day one, love her colours, her structure and her smell, but precisely because of that I was too excited to harvest her that I forgot to take proper photos so I leave the ones of her last days .. Will try to update soon with some pictures of her on the drying screen ahah

First week of 12/12 You can see the buds forming now The blueberry cupcake is stretching wild In comparison with the blue zushi. I also put in the dehumidifier and set it on 65% If the cupcake gets too high I'll just add the second trellis earlier.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Topped the plant in day 29 from seed. Nutrients concentration is dropping 10-20 PPM every 1-2 days. PH is drifting up every day, I have to drop the PH every 1 to 2 days. Light intensity for this week is at 46% ( Fluence Spydr 2i) . After toppling I dropped the light intensity to 36% for a day.

420 Fastbuds Week 5 Gorilla Zkittlez Auto Weekly update on these 2 have been wonderful. They both are maturing amazing not showing any real signs of issues. The transition from veg to flower went about as smooth as one could hope for. I did decide to do another defoliation taking off the bigger fan leafs. Also I lollipoped them a bit taking off the first 2-3 nodes allowing more airflow to the topsoil while letting the plant focus more energy on the upper flower sites. Keeping up the same routine as far as light cycle, watering, and preventative maintenance. Happy Growing
