Day 51, 9th of November 2021: Hi there! Here we go the second week of flowering. This is the time really not much to say apart from the strech they are going through. Especially Spilff's Strawberry 🍓 she is crazily doing it. Not much changed maximum a bit more water intake for them. I could write ✍️ review each of them but nothing significant happening it is the transition stage anyways. So rather just post the current settings and facts basically it is just the same like last week when it started. ViparSpectra XS2000 is on full power which is 240W so 100% capacity. Ventilation is different as well under the 12 hours period when the lamp is on it switches 1 hours on and after one hour off mostly to keep the temperature and of course because of fresh air flow. When the lamp is off it switches on in every 2 hours for 15 min at the same time with the extraction fan. The extraction fan is on 12 hours when the lamp is, and then it switches on in every 2 hours for 30 min. That's all a bit more water for them from today also. Humidity quite the same approx 50%, temperature as well approx 26-27 Celsius. Fertilization remains the same since last week, the BioBizz family raised up to be 2ml/L each so it is like 2ml/L of BioGrow, 2ml/L of BioBloom, 2ml/L of TopMax... see the ratio above. The schedule of the fertilization has not changed happnes 2x a week except epsom salt just 1x a week.

Blütewoche 6 Was soll ich sagen die Blüten werden immer fetter und fester. Ich bin eigentlich nur noch alle zwei Tage am gießen. Mehr ist nicht zu tun. Gut das die Gemüseanzucht wieder los geht sonst wäre es fast langweilig 😉 Die Pflanzen sehen nach wie vor sehr gesund aus, lediglich im unteren Bereich merkt man langsam das Nährstoffe verlagert werden. Trauermücken sind kaum noch zu sehen. Da haben die fressfeinde sich wohl gelohnt. Die Skywalker ist eine sehr einfach anzubauende Sorte. Bei mir haben sich meiner Meinung nach 4 unterschiedliche Phenos gezeigt. Lasst mir dazu aber gerne eure Meinung da! Liebe Grüße 🖖

Zum Glück hat sich die Pflanze perfekt erholt 💪🌿, und jetzt sind die Seitentriebe genauso hoch wie der Haupttrieb – sieht richtig cool aus! 😎 Der Geruch ist absolut pervers 🤯🔥, und ich bin mega gespannt, was am Ende dabei rauskommt! 🌸✨

Day 10F-17F (Day 10F) Everything is looking on point. I’m going to soak in a gallon of lite compost tea diluted to 400ppms on each plant except for #5. I’m still a little worried I won’t make it through the stretch but at the same time I fear N toxicity just as much. I will give one more lite tea before the end of stretch, most likely at the end of this week. (Day 12F) Ladies responded nicely to the tea except for BBB#1. It just isn’t looking as vigorous as it was last week. It’s the only one without an air hose so I guess it couldn’t hurt to grab one. The air hose does without a doubt prevent overwatering in soil and I’m surprised I don’t see more people using it. It’s cheap, effective and gives me similar results to growing in pure coco. I’m going to give one more light foliar spray of 3ml of calmag, 3ml of kelp and 2.5ml of insect frass. (Day 14) Got the air hose hooked up to all 5 plants now. I hate that I’ve been forced to defoliate so much in early flower and it is definitely reducing bud size. Last round my bbb’s had pistil clumps twice the size at this time and they were dealing with severe deficiencies. I’m hoping it’s just genetics or the fact they are larger plants. (Day 15) I’m starting to see signs of N toxicity on the some of the new growth and overall growth on all plants except #1 has slowed. It was most likely caused by the foliar spray/tea combo. No more feeding anything for the next 12 days at least. Luckily it’s still pretty early in flower but I know that N tox can hit really hard after the stretch stops. I would be pretty upset if I vegged for 80 days only to get severe N tox in mid flower. Since it’s not breaking down in the soil, I should be fine. I’m going to defoliate some more of the large bottom fan leaves as they hold large reserves of extra nutes I don’t need. Hopefully these small defoliations aren’t stressing them at all. Next round I plan to do a big strip one week before flower, at transplant and a second big strip on day 21. (Day 17) I think I was over-worrying about the seriousness of the N tox. I’ve seen it hit very hard in mid flower and can’t be too careful. It’s almost always caused by water soluble nitrogen so I’ll try to stay away from that unless I absolutely need it. My case does not look to alarming just yet. I noticed the stunting on #3 right after that last tea so I am going to stop giving the last liter of compost tea because of how unbalanced and separated at the bottom it is. It sure helped out the other 4 plants that didn’t get the granulars from the bottom of the bucket. I‘m planning to give a bloom tea around day 26 and a final top dress a few days later. #1 has now out stretched everything else in the tent. I honestly was not expecting that. If #3 didn’t get stunted this whole week I think it would be the taller/heavier plant.

Hey Growers, end of week 6 from seed, end of week 1 of flower :) Plant #1 is looking healthy and has grown tremendously. I previously had them in a 24x24x48 grow tent but after seeing how much plant#1 was growing I went ahead and purchased a bigger tent 36x36x72. Light is about 17 inches away from the plants right now. Might have to do some LST so the top leaves don't receive too much light. P1 is filling up with pistils, looks like buds will soon begin to form :) I have not been able to figure out Plant#2 gender. It has different charateristics from plant#1. Earlier in the week I noticed P2 was not growing in height and the leaves were starting to look pale. Light is currently set to medium low 140 Lux X100. I reduced it to 100 Lux and after a few days it began growing again and its gaining back its color. P2 has given me minor problems since day 1 but its looking better now. Changed light cycle 12hrs / 12hrs I had issues trying to maintain humidity levels at 45%-55%, I might need to purchase a stronger dehumidifer cloned two plants and they are beginning to grow :) Its been an exciting experience so far, everyday learning something new about these plants. I sometimes stand and just stare at my grow tent analyzing little details about them trying make sure they are in healthy condition. My wife complains because I spend too much time with them lol. I know once these plants get more mature she will show more interest in them. *VEG UPDATES ARE BEHIND ON THIS GROW. PLEASE GO AHEAD TO WEEK 1 FLOWER FOR BEST CONTENT.* I started this diary back in October but have not done any updating to it until today (February 15,2021). There will be pics for all veg weeks as well but I have not kept very good track with my pics of each strain until I flipped them to flower. From here on out I will feature all of my future grows weekly from seed to harvest. Please follow along.

I need to dry the buds in the dark at 19 degrees Celsius and 50% humidity. I hope the effect will be good, The only thing I don't like is that she has too many leaves and I get very tired when trimming the buds, but that's the fault of the strain and genetics and that's how it should be!

There are simply beautiful plants. Starting to see signs of flowering now... especially with the Pineapple Meatball. I have noticed some yellowing of 5-10 lower leaves on the FM and CB, but none on the pineapple meatball. I top dressed everything a week ago and also did another top dressing of crab meal and neem seed meal (about 3/4 cup of each on each plant). Should be plenty of Nitrogen in there if the plants need a bit of a boost. I've also caught just a few adult aphids sniffing around the chem brulee plant. My brussels sprouts are nearby, and I'm battling aphids heavily with them. IPM Sprayed with Canncontrol (basically thyme oil) and top dressed with neem seed meal.

Get my scope tomorrow to find out finally what is going on with the trichomes!

2024-11-27 to 2024-12-02 The first time I grew Chernobyl, the plant was dense and unruly with thick, lush vegetation. In fact, the plant took up so much room in my tent that I have it to a friend to finish outdoor. It showed signs of bud rot early in the flowering period and luckily, most of it was saved from itself. In addition, the stems of this strain are more hollow and brittle, gaining thickness quickly and making Low Stress Training a difficult task that requires patience when working the branches around the LST clips. I have broken many branches on a Chernobyl plant even when applying care and caution. It requires getting the plant to the shape and size you need early, so that silica can be added to strengthen the branches in prep for those killer nugs. They are taking about .5 gallons of feed every other day.

Spent the week rinsing and massaging roots, cleaning, filling then re-cleaning and refilling reservoirs. The rot is gone. Replaced with beneficial microbes from Advanced Nutrients Tarantula, that I made into a tea. This tea has cured the rot and also made a huge contribution to the roots and therefore, the whole plant. Am very impressed with the plants progress, vigour, vitality and strength! Now that the crisis is over, I'll be using the tea twice weekly to replenish the ranks. Flipped these girls to flower on day 26. Most of them have been looking good and growing pretty fast. I topped off the reservoir and added a little maxibloom. All 8 plants are drinking a total of about 2 gallons of water per day now. I kinda slacked on training them this week, but I will try to get them spread out some over the next week. I have been pulling a few fan leaves from the bottom so they can get good air circulation.

Rainbow melon what can I say? This plant is absolutely one of my favorite so far out of the fast buds genetics. I’ve grown a couple other genetics before and I have to say fast buds definitely checks all the boxes almost makes it too easy. The plant literally grows itself like it has a mind of its own handling low stress training absolutely amazing. Seems like it wants to have a perfect canopy. Very little TLC and the plant absolutely is thriving. 🌿🔥
