February 23, 2024 Day 8 Both babies got 250 ml top water today. I'll check on them in a couple hours and see how they are. Other than that. Nothing else to do. I did want to mention how very similar these two are. I think they're the same phenome. Although, it may be a bit early to really tell. That would be cool though. Beautiful green color and perfect little stalk. The true fan leaves are starting to show themselves now, so I can officially move them into the Veg Stage. So for this week, the focus will be watering and ensuring the light intensity is at the right level. I'll probably wait another few days before I think about introducing some nutrients. I'd like to start when the true fan leaves are fully showing. As I've said before, the soil is used, so I think a bit of recharge and Advanced Nutrients 3 Part Base solution would be a good idea. At a minimum of course. I'm counting more on the recharge to really kickstart the soil back to life. I'm definitely going to need to do a full watering when the first node starts and with the nutrient solution. However, I feel like I may need to do that sooner rather than later. Based on my last grow, the biggest plant had the most water in the second week of growth. I even thought I overwatered, but nope. So I'm going to try to replicate that. Especially because this is a super fast strain. They'll need all the water they can get. I'll start that on my next watering. I'll bump it up to 500 ml and focus mainly on the outer rim to help the rest of the soil get to the right moisture level without disturbing the environment they already have at the base. The light is still the same distance from the plants with the same PPFD. I'll start to focus more on DLI in the coming days as they grow. I have my light schedule for the week and plan to stick to it, letting the intensity slowly increase for the start of the next week and so on. I was considering increasing the power to 40% when I need to increase the intensity, but I have so much distance to play with, I might as well keep it at the same level until I get some nodes going. By flower, I'm hoping to have a perfect DLI of 45 by flowering. And hoping to be able to bring the light up to 100% for super deep penetration by then. I'd also like to get the light down to 24" for the veg stage. It seems to be the sweet spot for the coverage footprint. Also, I think I got the Tent Environment down for once. The night temp drops to around 68° while the day temp, although slow to climb, stays around 77°. I'm hoping that doesn't cause a stunting issue with the temp swing at such a young age. I think it will be fine. We shall see. The average temp is a bit low though. I may increase the night temp to 72°. That should put the average over 75°. The RH is pretty steady across the board around 72% with it dropping a little bit to 68% and up a bit higher at night to 74%. The VPD is also spot on averaging around 0.82 kPa. During the day it climbs up to 1.03 and at night drops down to 0.77 kPa. It's a bit low for my taste, but with the increased temp, I should see a nice round 0.83 kPa at night. Someday I'll get an automatic humidifier. Anyway, I know it was a lot, but it's a new week. So I in have a pair of Tropicana Cookies sharing the tent with these plants. The TC is showing signs of deficiencies. So to combat that, I added a 1/4 tsp of Recharge to a gallon of water. As I'm growing both strains as similarly as possible, I fed 250 ml to all 4 plants. Hopefully the packaging is correct and it won't burn these little babies. They are definitely hitting Veg already. But to be on the safe side, I covered them with a Starbucks cup and then watered them. It kept the soil from getting saturated at the base and will also help promote outward growth. As for watering itself, I feel like I should be watering more to prep the soil for when the veg stage really hits and the roots start to search more. I'd like to get to the point of runoff by the end of the week. Maybe I'll add another 250 ml with the cup in place again tomorrow. I will also need to water at the base in the next day or so. They are both growing the exact same still. I know it's only been a day, but a lot can change in that time, so nothing yet. Plus, what else am I supposed to document? Stems are strong. Leaves are a beautiful green color and the true leaves are starting to spread more. Lookin good. I'd also like to mention that it is 16° outside today, so even with the heat cranked, it's not really doing much. So low temps for a bit today. Around 70° much too low, but not much I can do until the heat catches up. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.4° RH: 67.6% VPD: 0.90 kPa February 25, 2024 Not much to do today. I'll either water 250ml today or 500 ml tomorrow. Either way, it's time to start wetting the whole container. I'm starting to think I should have done this the day before planting them. Oh well, I'll try that next time. For now, I'll stick with the gradual watering. It'll be increased again next week if needed. These babies look great. The leaves are getting longer and seem to be a medium width. Much like a true hybrid. So far at least. It's still pretty early to tell. We shall see. The light intensity is pretty good as well. No changes needed at the moment. However, I have a feeling I'll be dropping it an inch or two in a couple of days to match the schedule. I don't think I need to increase the power yet. I'll start increasing the power when I start training. It makes sense. I'll be pulling the tops down, so the DLI will be off a bit. But instead of dropping the light, increase the intensity so it can penetrate the new canopy right away. And if I can hover between 22" and 24" light distance, it should be perfect. I feel like that has the best footprint for this setup. Interesting Theory: Mostly for My Records: I may be slow on the info, but I think I figured out how brightness and distance make a difference in PAR and Brightness as well as footprint. The light distance defines the footprint. And the light power defines the brightness. Combining the two makes for a PAR reading. However I feel that the higher the brightness, the deeper the canopy penetration. Distance doesn't really change the brightness. It does change the PAR, but we can fix that with Distance. As long as we match the PAR reading to the proper level, there's no difference, correct? Maybe not. A less bright light even super close to a canopy would not be strong enough to penetrate the canopy because the power isn't strong enough. Even at the same PAR reading, it still wouldn't be powerful enough to penetrate. On the other hand a brighter light with the same PAR reading would work differently. Same PAR reading at a higher distance. But the power would also be higher. I feel that the light will penetrate deeper as long as the PAR remains the same. An example is a too large plant for the setup. Light distance was under 9" and power was down to 30% the PAR reading was much too high even with such low power. The light however couldn't penetrate below the first set of leaves and buds very well. But, in a smaller tent with a 100 watt light, I grew a wonderful plant where the light penetrated the canopy deeper because it was brighter and the distance was deeper. The plant wasn't nearly as big as it was in a 2x2 tent and 1 gallon container compared to the 3x3 tent and a 5 gallon container. But it had dense buds almost all three way down to the base. The larger plant had bud as far down as I allowed, as it mostly came out as popcorn, loose buds and some larf. This all brings me to believe that light power directly affects the canopy penetration and not necessarily distance. Distance plays a role with footprint and brightness, but not power. I also believe light heat makes a difference as well. A brighter light is warmer and plants like to be warm. So they will stretch to the warmth of the light as well. Less power means a cooler light and a less happy plant. My opinion of course. As I'm keeping this for my records, if anyone has any extra info, or correcting facts, please let me know. I'd rather have a theory be corrected or supported so I have the correct information. Doesn't matter how old this Diary is as I check all comments. Thanks in advance! Update: I decided to water in 250 ml of Recharge without the domes. I'll do another 250 ml tomorrow with the domes on and so forth until they get too big to fit under the dome. Then it will be normal watering. Grow System Environment: Temp: 76.1° RH: 74.4% VPD: 0.57 kPa (a bit low, but I'm measuring 2 different probes) February 26, 2024 Mid-week update: Both ladies are looking great! Still wonderful green and growing nice and steady. They are about 6 cm tall or 2 3/4". DLI: 18.1 mol/m²/d PAR: 280 ppfd. I also watered in another 250 ml with the domes on today. I'll run the 250 ml daily until week 3 and then I'll change it up to 500 ml every other day for that week. After that, everything should be good to go for the flowering stage. I'll also install the basins after week 3. It should be excellent timing. They are 1 gallon basins. So refilling should be every other day or so. The goal with this run is to not have to top water at all. The basins should work perfectly as long as I set them up properly. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.8° RH: 70% VPD: 0.83 kPa February 27, 2024 So major problem in my opinion. My humidifier is blanketing the whole tent with the white powder they give off. I wasn't running my exhaust fan as I didn't need it at all. So I turned it on as low as possible and started one of my circular fans. Hopefully that solves the problem. I had to carefully wipe it off of Banana PP B. However, regardless of the powder, these two are growing quite nicely. Maybe a little slower than I was hoping, but still nice steady growth. They both got a little misting today as well as will be getting the 250 ml watering after the water comes up to room temp. This watering will be PHed to 6.0 and will be dome free. There was still about 400 ml of Recharge left, so I let it stay and just won't add more til next week when I start the base nutrients. I'll also be adding Cal/Mag. Other than that, they are still super green and super healthy. Hopefully they take off when the base nutrients kick in as well as the container soil being properly moistened. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.7° RH: 60.6% VPD: 1.16 kPa February 28, 2024 Not much going on today. They both got their daily 250 ml watering PHed at 5.95. I didn't go near the base though. So it's kinda like having the dome, but not as precise. They are slightly reaching and the first set of true leaves are finally starting to pop out. The node is also growing at what seems to be a wonderful pace. Still a beautiful green and the stalk is nice and strong. Very straight as well. They do have a bit of a lettuce structure on the single fan leaves. It'll be fine. The true leaves look spectacular. Lighting is still pretty spot on. 2 more days and I'll be either lowering the light or increasing the intensity. At this stage I don't think I need to increase the power. The light distance is pretty far away. That gives me a good 6 inches of wiggle room. I'll increase the intensity when they start to grow a second node. On the other hand, I could keep the light where it's at for now and let the plants grow into it. Then I can increase the intensity when they get to that point. Week 3 from seed starts in 2 days. Which should be the true first week of Veg. I'll evaluate on what to do tomorrow. I'm pretty sure I need a DLI of 20 mol/m²/d starting next week. So I'll run the light at 350 ppfd or DLI of 22.7 mol/m²/d. Just above. It seems to be the perfect spot for these ladies. I'd also like to add that I've had zero issues with the 250 ml per day. It keeps the soil moisture just around 50%. Not sure if that means I'm not getting any deeper, but that's why I'll be starting 500 ml every other day next week. I feel that adding the extra 250 will help penetrate the soil better and a bit faster. Especially because those roots are going to start stretching past the dome width. And it's time for the roots to start growing down. Grow System Environment: Temp: 75.4° RH: 62.9% VPD: 1.09 kPa February 29, 2024 Today is the last day of the first week of plant life. Week 2 from seed. Both plants got the 250 ml top water without dome. Lighting looks great. Although, I noticed that a couple hours before lights out, they were both standing straight up like there was no light, but they still had a good 3 hours left. Strange or good? Either way, it'll be adjusted tomorrow to a DLI of 22.7 mol/m²/d. PAR will be 350 ppfd. I'm also going to try and lower the light a smidge. Maybe down to 26". We shall see what works best. Both plants are super healthy and right on track. Maybe a little slower than I'd hoped, but still steady growing. I feel like this will be a 4 week veg time. Greens are beautiful and she looks very strong. Leaves are growing nicely and I can only imagine they will take off when I start the Advanced Nutrients regimen tomorrow. At least I hope they take off. They should though. Tomorrow is around the time when they really start taking root. That in turn speeds up growth so I think I'm right on point here. I'm also going to be posting a video every week. Once the 2 start to show their differences and greater size, then they will each get a video every week. Update: I realized my plants were reaching a bit too much and leaning in toward the light. That being said, they definitely need more light, so I lowered it until I hit a DLI of 19.8 mol/m²/d. That way when I bring it up to 22.7 mol/m²/d it won't be hit so hard immediately. I should have dropped the light down a day or two ago, but oh well. It will be on point for the rest of the grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.0° RH: 62.3% VPD: 1.03 kPa The temp slammed down over 50° last night and I'm having a bit of trouble combating it. It'll definitely take a decent amount of the day to re-acclimate. However, it should be fine. I have the temp in my room set to 80° so that should combat the sudden cold.

8/22 Defoliated what needed it.with all the rain I had to remove some yellow leaves. The container plants are affected the most as the wind drys those bags out in like a day. I'll have to check twice a day. Watered a gallon a plant yesterday before going to the hospital, then went back over after and gave everything at least another half gallon. I'm pretty sure everything got their 10%. Yesterday I upped the feeding regimen to 2.5 pints a plant. A little more on the ones that looked like they needed it most. I took some pretty good pictures. I hope that's not septoria on the leaf that I took a picture of in the fire pit. Glad I sprayed that BT. I'll have to keep up with it. I'm also considering an application of plant doctor just in case. I don't SEE anything fungal bur that would suck. Flowers arecexploding in growth. Just got a text from my father telling me how my plants are "budding big time" lol. I have the bamboo I need but there are still a few individual HUGE branches that will soon need more support. Update: Wife felt A LITTLE better so I went to check the girls around 6pm. I found my canary starting to droop. I'm not sure If I gave a full two gallons to everything yesterday. One or two may have only gotten one and a half. I compared the weight with the weight of a 22 gallon bag of dry soil and realized it was definately time to water even though only one plant was drooping they were all dry. It may have been okay to leave it but i've let them dry out far too often already so I made sure EVERY PLANT got it's 10% of water (except containers) and I watered slower. I don't see any negative effects from the B.T. but i'm noticing some older leaves turning yellow on a couple plants as this explosive flowering continues. I"m just going to continue monitoring it. I hope I did the right thing and watered. If it was going to rain tonight I might have held off but they were super light. I also took a video and some pictures but my wife is using my phone to listen to music and calm down so i'll need to upload those pictures and videos tomorrow. I put sluggo plus pellets on the ground between the pallets but I don't think that will help much if they're in the soil. If they are there their aren't many. Or it could be some other pest. It's the very bottom branch that should've been pruned already anyway. Didn't water today as we are supposed to get an inch of rain between tonight and tomorrow. My canary was sagging but it was wet? The soil was definately heavier than the 22gallon bag I use to compare. It just dries out so fast in those bags. I'll check them throughout the day. Oh and I forgot that I only have the 3 10th planet's. I kept referring to another as a "different phenome" so i dug down and found the tag and it was a blueberry cheese. Since the light dep went bad almost half the garden is blueberry cheese. The flowers look much more saliva dominant then the tenth planet or the purple punch. The BIG CHEESE in the 50 in the back had really long saliva looking leaves which is much different than some of her sisters. Anyway things are still doing good. I hope the girls csn make it the day without water. I don't want to water a day before we get an inch of rain. It is sunny and 80 though so I'll play it by ear. IF NOT THE PILLARS JUST ATE A BUNCH OF BT. 8/24 It was pouring this morning so I just ran down and shook off my plants. Didnt take any pictures or do a video as it was raining pretty hard. IT is now 11am and the rain has stopped. I did not go at night to check for earwigs due to my wife needing me do to her medical illness. I've been through a lot this week. That's why I asked my buddy before I DID ANYTHING. It's a GOOD thing my bags dry out so tast but it means I REALLY need to keep on top of it. I'll make sure I get sleep and a decent meal and I'll check things out later on today. If I see cause for alarm I'll come back at night. I'll go over to shake things off anyway. UPDATE: Went over after the rain slowed and shook things off. The wind came up and I remembered I had a few plants that were only supported on the main stem. Those plants are strong as hell and have branches the diameter bigger than the main stalk of an indoor plant. Still, I used the fence and the stake that was securing the main stalk and made like a triangle of string attached to the fence and the garden stake. Essentially it just makes a large triangle of string (loose) around this strong compact plant so if the wind blows to hard during the storm it will give it some more support. That was my big purple punch. I added another stake to a blueberry cheese that I FIMed with those huge colas and made sure all the nail branches were tied up. I SHOULD go check for earwigs to tonight but I need sleep. If they're there, there aren't many. I think I used the correct "their's" lol I didn't mean to. I'm losing leaves that are turning yellow and falling off. I think a few may be hungry. I'll check the diary and feed again. I'll try my ph meter as well but I really don't trust it. Everything going in is good and when I phed the rainwater it was much lower. 8/25 RAINED ALL DAY OR MOST OF IT. FOR SOME REASON MY COMMENT IS GONE. 8/26 FED 3 GALLONS TO GARDEN EVERYBODY GOT 1.75 PINTS AT LEAST. Defoliated what needed it after the storm and fed three gallons to the garden of nutrient mix. Each plant got at least a powerade bottle (1.75 pints), the big cheese in the fifty got over two as did the two other 30s. I spread around what was left after and ended up with one powerade bottle of mix left. I should've just gave it to them but hindsight is 20/20. Some plants are yellowing up a little bit and it's climbing the plant. Sunny out today. Plants are exploding in flower and we've experienced some rain but it still concerns me. I'm also concerned about earwigs. Haven't seen any and actually (happily) found a couple aphids and ants. If the earwigs were bad there wouldn't be a single aphid around. I've seen ants on the plants so I'm sure there are some more aphids. The tiny branches that should've been pruned have damage that looks like previous years from earwigs. On one branch it looks like they chewed the stem of a secondary branch and it was just hanging there. I thought I killed all those bastards but if a couple got IN the grow bags it will be much harder to catch them. The damage isn't severe and it's on a branch I was going to prune anyway. It's just the point. They seem to love any plant with "blueberry" in it. They also seem to stay totally away from any thick indica buds though and prefer longer less dense buds. That's my take from dealing with earwigs for several seasons in a row. Even if present in small numbers I think I did enough so they won't have much of an impact even if they are there but I'm going to go check anyway. Boy things are looking good! UPDATE: Went back over and it seems like a bunch of leaves yellowed on my "big cheese." I hope it's not leaf septoria. I also found one piece of bedroom on the very bottom of a plant. Just shit I shouldve pruned but still. I noticed some ants and a few aphids as well. I'm going to have to watch the yellowing and consider using plant doctor preventatively in case of fungal. 8/27 After that increased feeding I defoliated a shit ton of yellow leaves. The big cheese has lost quite a few fan leaves. It's not just fan leaves though. It seems some newer growth yellows on that plant too. I have a couple blueberry cheese that may have septoria. Or it could be overwater with all this rain. Considering a treatment of plant doctor. Buds are EXPLODING in growth. UPDATE: Super sunny day spent in the E.R. Went back and checked the girls and they looked even BIGGER!!! I'm super stoked for this fall. Wondering if the leaves dropping from my big cheese is normal. I hope it's not fungal. If it is I have several products to treat it. I might throw a question up and see what ppl think. I've tried to upload this video three times!!! I hope it gets through this time. Won't go past 14% amd I've tried four times. It's a good video too! I'll upload tomorrow when I have better service. FINALLY! 8/28 Bags were wet and heavy as hell. It should be easy to tell when its time to water but my anxiety still fucks around with me. Showed my buddy a bunch of pictures and videos and addressed all my concerns. Mainly septoria. He doesn't think I've got it. He looked through everything and made me feel a lot better. Just senescence and maybe a little over watered from the rain. He said many growers cut the nitrogen right off at the stage of flower where some of my plants are at. That made me feel much better. The sun is out and it's upper 70s at 11. Plants are exploding in growth. Lighting was good this'll morning g so I took numerous photos and videos. I uploaded one but then I deleted all my large files which apparently included tge ones I did today. During my evening check up I'll take a couple more and upload them. Boy things are looking good. Week is going good aside from me accidently cutting off a stem on pheno 2. If I can properly save the cutting though I might have a chance at another female. Pheno 3 I'm hoping can make some comeback as I really want to flower the plant, its not dead by any means but the way its growing I just cant see it allowing itself to flower the top leaves were barely growing so I topped. Hopefully positive changes within the next week.

Es läuft wunderbar! Biscotti hat ihre letzte Woche und kommt zum Wochenende, spätestens nächste Woche Dienstag ab. Der Rest steht bis zum Ende des Monats. 06/04: Début 3ème semaine jusqu'à présent je suis content de moi, c'est ma deuxième culture. La première a été assez mouvementée et cette fois-ci je me sent plus à l'aise par rapport aux arrosages par exemple. J'ai choisi de ne pas utiliser du allmix par exemple pour pas risquer de brûler mon plant lors de l'engraissâge etc. 06/05: Aujourd'hui "tie down" des branches les plus basses. (LST j 0) + Arrosage à l'eau clair 400ml ainsi que toping des branches basses. 06/06: j'aperçois les premiers pistils la phase de pré-flo est sur le points de débuter je vais augmenter la luminosité petit à petit dans les jours qui viennent pour arriver autour des 70,000Lux en phase de flo. 06/07: je vais revoir mon planing d'engraissage et ajouter un engrais de flo. et du CalMag agent toutes les deux semaines, quand au GHE essential une fois par semaine en foliaire. 06/08: le filet est placé depuis ce matin, maintenant on attends l'étirement floral pour le remplir. 06/09: arrosage +/-500ml avec engrais, j'ai tenté de descendre le filet pour palliser le plant et commencer à diriger le branche dans les trous du filet mais j'ai changé d'avis car je le sentais pas, je préfère attendre le stretch et utiliser le filet quand les branches l'atteindront naturellement. 06/10: finalement j'ai fait un topping hiers soir car le fiming ne semblait pas prendre et le cola continuais a monter et a chaque nouveau noeud j'avais chaque fois que deux branche donc j'ai préferer le topping certaine branche latérale on déjà rejoint la hauteur de deux branche obtenue grâce au topping. je suis étonnée par la vigueur de cette variété qui se remet rapidement de tout stress!

14/12/20 inicio de semana, se le aplico dos cucharadas de leonardita y dos mas de harina de cangrejo riegos solo con agua, se metio al invernadero una led bestva 600w elite tanbien se rego con un poco de algantic potasium . sele hicieron unos amarres en las dos puntas del apical con las hojas de abajo 18/12/20 59cm de altura 20/12/20 cierre se semna asta horita riegos solo con agua💪

-Finally moved the girls outside. Still slightly cold at night outside but there's no turning back from here they're planted. -Used Promix HP as my medium in the 22.5 gallon pots I made. -Can't wait to see how big these girls will get.

Well, atmospheric river on the way tonight, so I thought I'd do an early harvest, 42 tops in total! Even though it's a few weeks early, the buds are a really good size and very frosty. I also wanted to open the canopy up for the remaining buds and also check out how bad the rot was, and to my surprise really good! None of the main tops had rot, I spotted a half dozen smaller nugs during harvest. All bud was washed, 3 buckets, baking soda and lemon juice in 1, then 2 clean cold rinse buckets. Snip top, snip off fan leaves only, wash in bucket 1,2 3, hang to dry outside for 15 min, then bring into basement for drying. Will hang dry for 7 days, sweat in paper for a day or 2, then light trim and into grove bags. Bucket 1 after wash was NASTY, grey, couldnt even see the bottom, please wash your outdoor! After harvest I took some more pics, still TONS left to "hopefully" ripen over another 2-3 weeks. Even being this early, the trichomes were looking good. I mostly do Rosin and Edibles, so I don't need max swollen buds. We have 98% humidity over nights, and there's no way to fully ripen in that kind of weather. This is my new favorite strain so far, this was the earliest harvest I've had in a while, buds are great, uniform, almost no budrot so far. I bought bubble bags to try out some hash washing. I fresh froze some small stuff from another plant. If it works out and the rest of this doesn't rot out I'll fresh freeze a ton. I have a small Rosin press to so I finally get to try out some Live Rosin!

So today is the day i switch my plants to flowering lights schedule and flowering nutes, started with 1/4 the recommended dosage and will gradually up them, only boosters i left at recommended values. Ppm is 800. Next will be 1000, then 1200 and maybe 1400. I plan to flush on days 16, 28, 35 and 42 of flowering, leave them to dry for 4-5 days so roots will oxygenize and help to stack more dense buds, and then add nutes. I plan to do the final flush for last 2 weeks with flawless finish. You can see some before and after training photos and videos from today, defoliated some leaves and LST-ing branches, spreading them out last time so light can reach smaller branches, after all she got some more stretching to do and its why i left sensi grow with more Nitrogen.
