📆 Week 12, 7-12 July 2024 Harvest 8 July - Turned light power down to 25%. Changed nutrient solution to RO water to begin flush. 11 July - Harvest 12 July - Begin curing time. 📑 Harvest time! She is ripe, danky, sticky, full of resin, solid, and I am pleasently suprised at the yield. This is not your ordinary Auto Afghan variety. She produces heavy buds and a lot of them. This is also the first auto I have grown using DWC in 12 weeks without manipulation - 18 hours straight from start to finish. I pushed her to the limit. Now she will hang in the closet at 50-55% RH and 70 degrees F, for about 7-10 days curing. Then she will trimmed and put into one quart glass mason jars, with 62% Boveda TurpShield and burped until 62% RH is maintained. The full potency potential and terp profile will be reached in about 30-45 days. 📆 19 July 2024 The Smoq Report: After 7 days of hanging, she was ready to cut. I trim and shape each individual bud, removing unwanted leaf and stem. It’s a process but worth it if you smoke bud. Her potency is evident. It will take the experienced smoker to a satisfying high and keep you there for a good hour or more before you want another hit. The smell and taste is of a typical Afghan. I was expecting a heavier yield, but in the end I guess we all hope for a little more! Hey everyone, I meant to post this update yesterday, but I was really busy. Anyway, here she is! She's doing great, although still a bit darker than I'd like, which might just be her genetics. Overall, I'm really happy with how things are going for my first grow. There are definitely some things I could have done to improve this run. The top buds aren't as fat as I hoped, probably because there are so many tops and bud sites under the canopy that aren't getting enough PPFD. This seems to be causing the plant to direct quite a lot of energy to the lower buds, leaving the top colas not getting 100% of the energy they need. But hey, we learn as we go, and this first run has taught me a lot. I'm aiming for at least 4 ounces, but honestly, she doesn't look like she's producing that much weight at the moment. Fingers crossed these buds juice up and double in size within these last two weeks! Thanks for following along and for all the support! 🌱✨

We have two very very pretty Rainbow Sherbet at different stages of flowering. The smallest one left to grow straight is doing very well and is in its first week of flowering. It is a plant that grows fast and primes very well. The plant worked with the main lining is really very beautiful. On her I was very successful in bending the branches of the main mainfold creating a very interesting T. The two ends of the main lining with their branches are the main ones and have shot up but there is good stuff everywhere halfway through the flowering phase let's say. Really excellent resin guys already from halfway through flowering The shape is very very beautiful as is the structure of this plant for real. We are still using soil, fertilizers and all the additives recommended by Plagron 100% organic. This week I did a final bit of defoliation just to channel the energy to the buds. I upped the EC to 2.1. I got a well priced pkm boost powder from my local hydro shop, wich I added to get the EC levels a bit higher. I will start flushing at the end of this week with a flushing solution. I have also been making use of a dehumidifier to reach optimal RH.

Fo' Twenny Back with another update on our Orange Sherbert from Barney's Farm! 8/24 - Day 17 of Bloom: I did some selective defoliation to help increase light penetration. Next watering will be a flush with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm's flush agent SledgeHammer. Everything is growing strong with this classy lady and she has an abundance of growing shoots. I may need to do some additional lollipopping, but I am being conservative and trying to spread out defoliation/lollipopping to avoid shocking her. She isn't stretching a whole. However, she is very bushy and I to think that will make up for the minimal stretching as far as yields are concerned. Leaves all look pretty healthy and are a nice shade of green. 8/28 - Day 21: Flushed the medium with tap H2O run through 2 KDF filters with 2 tsp/gal of Fox Farm Sledgehammer flushing agent and pH adjusted to 6.2. I started by giving 5 gallons. After checking the PPM of the runoff I ended up adding 5 more gallons mixed to same specifications. 10 gallons total was shared by 3 large flowering photoperiod cultivars and 1 smaller autoflower. She probably ended up with about 3 gallons give or take. I didn't measure how much each plant received. I just kept flushing each and checking runoff until it was under 1600 ppm. Extraction fan (AC infinity Cloudline T6) on level 2. DAY 13 - First full watering (10L) with 20 ml Canna Terra Vega DAY 14 - Circulation fan turned on (low) during lights on WEEK 3 Good growth, two Iced Out still lagging DAY 18 - Light at 225w, Extraction fan on level 3 during lights on DAY 20 - 2nd watering, 8L with 30ml Vega + Light at 250w DAY 21 - On point, mostly :) Could've pushed nutes a bit more from the go WEEK 4 DAY 24 - So far this week I'm just kicking back and watching them do their thing. The two lagging Iced Outs are trying to catch up. DAY 26 - Watering 10L with 50 ml Vega (one day too late...) + light on 300w (max) DAY 28 - 4 weeks from popping the seeds, looking good except for the two Iced Outs, one of them is trying to get with the program, the other... Well, some plants are just pricks.

Divine Seeds Auto V.2 Contest Auto Black Opium W5V5 7/6-12 Black Opium had a spurt and grew 3 inches and now 8 inches tall. I used pins to tie down the limbs and cleaned out all the under growth. giving ph water only. 7/6 2 liters ph 6.5, ppm 238 to get the pot wet. 7/8 1 liter ph 6.6, ppm 262 pics & video I included videos of the ph meter with water, iridium glass & iridium glass and copper. When in water only, the ph meter climbs steadly, in iridium, there is slight jumping in the register. When the readings are taken with copper and iridium, the ph meter jumps up and down in wide ranges. So there is marked energy emanating from the glass and from the copper. What is it doing? Top dressed with some more soil. The top was looking depleted and just want to keep it from completely taking all the nutrients from the soil. Added a mix of power bloom with azomite and glacial rock dust. I watered in with some pure protein dissolved into hot water then added to the water I was using at diluted levels. The second watering they got this week was with molasses. which also does a good job of dropping the ph of my water to the perfect level and a little bit of Epsom salt because I ran out of my cal mag and also want the plant to have plenty of sulfur. Last week the stalks were starting to lean but were all getting good light so I did not mess with them but this week they were sagging just a little too much and i oppted for the plant tie to the top of the tent to keep the buds in the sweet zone of the light and to prevent pockets of an unfavorable environment. Very happy with how the buds are developing. the are not rock hard but dense and the amount of trichomes and weight is surprising when i was lifting the branches. Starting to look like shes slowing down a little but may even go to 9 weeks from the looks of it. i and not going to rush her.

Couple days left of week 3, and buds are starting to swell, and trichs are forming. I've removed most of the lower branches at this point (which probably should have been done earlier), I'll hopefully do the last of the defoliation this week too. I'm going to bump up the nutes a little for a while before flushing for at least 2 weeks when they are starting to look ready! Smell inside the tent is getting stronger, made me sneeze a couple times when I peeked in there the other day 😅 Have a happy new year!

Last week of flowering just finished! This plant showed some great results, the buds gets nice and fat, and slightly above average thc production, but not extreme thc like covering all the leaves, i think this is going to be a nice daily smoke without knocking you out totally! The smell is great, just what i expected from a wedding cake! We will now harvest in some days and start to dry her 😁

Getting solid and developing a lot of orange pistils and the tricomes are lookings super frosty. About 2 weeks left then out to the moon we go!!! Hope its a good grade (quality high), I decided to make Velevet because the flowers looked beautiful to not try out. This will be the last feed then flushed for the next feed. Going to drench it until it reaches a desirable ppm level in the soil. That would make it start eating itself sucking out all the nutrients providing a smooth smoke and a great after taste. When you dont flush you get a better taste and why would you want to smoke nutrients? Gotta make the leave turn yellow then you know its good. This is almost the end and thankfully its been going good so far, see you soon!!!
