The pheno 5 has started to throw out HAZEY smell in the tropical mix. I can smell the slightly musky/cheezy/spicy scents of the haze. I think this is a trait that I will have to consider throughout the selection, since that haziness is certainly something we want to have when experiencing the Liberty HAZE ;)

Wk8 Flower (2nd week of flower day 15) So this week has been another quiet week. I have been pinching out big fan leaves that are cover multiple tops to persuade even growth over the canopy. I have also cleaned out under her skirt a bit more to get rid of the unwanted and wasted growth. Only water with EM1 has been added to the res over the week she is currently drinking up to 6ltrs a day and growing around an inch taller in a 24hour period. I noticed a bad stagnant smell coming from the res so have added some lacto bacillus serum which should help that settle. Although the plant isn't complaining bad smells normally means bad microbes which in numbers are very bad. She is showing alot of pistols now and I'd expect to see bud sites prominent by end of the week mind you I don't actually think she has fully started to stretch yet! I'm keeping an eye on her closely as next week I am away and was hoping that stretch would have come and gone by now. We will see!! This week I plan to add some water soluable calcium and an alfalfa seed sprout tea. I've started to drop my humidity down every couple of days to simulate change and have my light set at 40cm

June 30, 2019 at 2am / Day 23: 4.5" maximum height. Light LST and I defoliated 2 inner leaves for light penetration below. Light moved to 24" above canopy. I moved it up a bit higher than usual to promote vertical growth and for stretch across the 5 gallon pot. I have been keeping the light between 12 and 18 inches, and hope to be back at those heights soon. Watered with PH 6.07. Second runoff PH 6.44. I water the whole 5 gallon pot with a little more than 1 liter every 2 days. July 1, 2019 at 3pm / Day 24: Nice vertical growth at 5" maximum height prior to LST. Breezing through LST and light pruning of inner leaves. Hard to notice if there are delays from the stress. I'd say that there are and it is minimal. The exposure to stress and extra light may outweigh the stress. She seems really strong and happy. lol 9:00 pm more LST. July 2 at 1am / Day 25: Gone into preflower. Maximum height 6". Light moved back down to 14" above canopy. Watered with PH 6.1. Second runoff at PH 6.42. Watering is now 1L every day to day and half max. 2pm: Light moved to 18", Light LST at 3:30pm. 6pm: Light moved back to 14" at night and 18" in the day. July 3 at 3pm / Day 26: After minimal LST maximum height at 5.75". 6" at 10 pm. July 4 at Day 27: Defoliated and mixed in a very teeny teeny, tiny sprinkle of Gaia Green 4-4-4 slow release nutes and watered my 3 plants. A little less than my fingertips could hold of the dry mix nutes. Mixture at PH 6.1.

July 12: Sunday Punch EV is definitely the star plant this year. Very impressive grower and is doing great. Force flowering by putting in dark garage for 10 h per night plus using far red light at dusk. Far red light puts plant into dark mode two hours faster so its like having a 26 h day. This is a great trick if you have daily access to tour plant. Added a 1:1 mix of malted barley and Power Bloom. I had added barley a few days ago, but those sprouted, and then I remembered that its supposed to be malted barley. Removed the barley and replaced with malted barley. July 13: obviously stretching even after just the first night of force flowering. She seems really good. July 15: still stretching.

Day 85. Just before lights photo's for better true colour understanding, Bio Grow and AlgaMic is out, after finishing this cycle CalMag and Silica out too. Hope its not too early, but girls are really healthy, time to pump up the flowers not leaves :) Day 86. Girls just flying, very happy with Gorillas and Control Garden looks really funky, they stand under no direct light on them... and still flowers looks amazing. Got my new mobile, had to try out :) Next week very busy at work, no updates I think. Day 89. So again i made mistake, while watering them last time accidently left heater on, they overdried , plus temps where at +33c ... Bunny Gorilla looks bad, Gorilla Max got biggest pistil damage, half went brown. Thinking i took nitrogen too early out, but we shall see. On other hand all Control Garden took it well even Cookies with theirs waxy leaves stood thurst nice as such stress can be ...
