Day 113. And girls go WILD ;))))) Amazing run, smell, structure, liked even variation in phenos, but . .. i always say they could go a bit longer, but this time , they even SHOULD, but i was asked to move out and i want to squeeze one more grow till first of November .. One Tangie is so behind others, that i am thinking to kick her out outdoors even to finish up ... Anyway ; girls got theirs first heavy flush, at least 15 liters of water went through pots ... Last week of vegetative stage. I will be flipping next week and start the flowering stage. I'm looking at 9 mains colas and 4 smaller ones. From now on, I'll do occasional defoliation as she is obviously an indica dominant strain (despite breeder saying it's a 50/50) I was scared of her stretching too much and outgrowing my 6' height tent. This was a mistake and if I would do things differently, I would let her vege another 2 or even 3 weeks. She grew rather small in height

Day 61: I left them in darkness for 3 days and just switched on the lamp for 12/12 with today the foirst day of the 9th week. Fertilization goes on the same days with the nutrients above and water intake approx 250 ml per plant per day. Nice green color comes they always look nice after darkness :) Lets' go. Day 66: Growing growing growing...

2nd week of flowering

Hoping these girls start to bulk up soon. This is all organic- just being fed with water, glucose, and the Gaia Green soil bloom nutrient top dressings every other week. Goal is to see what I can do with bare minimum and then press the yields with nutrient feedings in the future. Anyone with organic growing experience - these look normal size for where we are at in flower? I know we have a month or so to go but the roots seem to be pretty compacted at this point in 5 gallons pots. I think I’d go to 3 - 10 gallon fabric pots for next grow. Let me know what works best for you.

Today i watered the plant and feeded with BioBizz i did a little defoliating where i cut away the big fan leafs and i did some lillipopping aswell. I want to see how the plant behaves with still more leafs on the plans.

Fastest-developing plant I've seen to date. She's a bit leggy, but for I've seen plants take a month or more to reach this height and leaf development. Having a 12/12 schedule 600W sodium lamp is helping, and the increasing temperatures as we head into spring. No sign of root reaching beyond the (large) rockwool cube, but that's normal. Sometimes it takes several months for them to properly get going in these cold climes.

There is little time left to go to flowering, so I no longer stress the girls. I am giving new nutrients to prepare them for flowering

Now they are a bit bigger , this is the start of week 2 , now day 19 in real time from germination. I would appreciate any help to maximise the yield. I feed around 500-600 ppm. How much should the drain be ? I have to plants struggling, one had 500 run off , should I give nutes or flush them more ?

09/01/22: The plants have definitely stopped growing taller and now are just concentrating all their energy into the bud production. Trichomes everywhere and all over the sugar leaves. Had a look at a sugar leaf under the microscope - not cloudy enough to be ready. Should be done in a few more weeks. Slowly but surely some of the stigmas are turning orange though no brown trichomes yet. the humidifier is doing a great job of keeping the grow tent under 50% humidity. Despite having a 4 inch carbon filter and fan the smell is slowly but surely creeping out of the grow tent - I can but imagine the smell if there was no carbon filter or fan. Not much more to do but wait until the browners trichomes come and more stigmas start to flatten and some turn orange.
