Hello growers and welcome to week 6. I expect Queen Citronella to gain a lot of height this week. I will be doing the measurements shortly, but first I wanted to share some news! Queen Citronella has a new home, she hasn't moved in yet, but I'm working on it today. I will also be rearranging all the other grows and starting some new things off! I am not sure if I have mentioned it anywhere but I am using a 1.2m x 1.2.m x 1.8m tent.. I have just got a 60cm x 60cm x 140cm tent and a 300w LED. Her Majesty I hope will enjoy her new quarters. Day 36: I have lowered the light to 30cm above the tallest plants. Day 37: It is done! Queen Citronella resides in her own palace, while the rest of the plebs squat together in the communal living area. I have reorganised and moved my 4x4, mounting the carbon filter and duct fan properly in the center. Setup a 2 x 2 with a 300w LED and put the lights for both tents on the same timer (for now). I will measure and photograph Her Majesty a little later, including photos of her new home. Day 37: Added media. Height: 31cm. Fertigated 2l. Day 37.5: Alright she is really stretching fast, she grew almost 5cm in a little over 30 hours, A thought has just occurred to me; I could, if I chose to, put the Queen on a flower cycle at this point. Now I did want to do a full grow of clones, however we're talking something like another 2 weeks of veg then 2 weeks for cuttings to root, then I'd want to veg them for a few more weeks, maybe 2, 3 or 4? So that's 6-10 weeks before I start flowering. Then at least ten weeks of flowering, A week to dry, and at least a fortnight to cure. We're talking 20-25 weeks before I get to smoke it, that's six months! I probably wont be able to grow in the summer due to the heat. Now I already have the one cutting which I am hoping will root soon, which I can take forward, but I also have two more seeds. So, regretfully, I think I will change my plans. I will flower queen Citronella, starting on day 43. I still intend to do a full tent of Super Lemon Haze clones, but I think I will postpone that adventure until September. So this is now the final week or final five days of veg, she will spend the bulk of her last week of veg under a different light. We wont get much data on vegging (unless there is a significant change this week) but it'll be a nice trial run flowering with an LED light for the first time. Exciting! I am still waiting for the Epislon F1 seeds from RQS. I set their pot up today, inoculated, fed, and sowed some Dark Opal (Purple) Greek Basil and a liberal sprinkling of chamomile. I am going to germinate all five seeds in jiffy pellets and then put them all in the same 40l Day 38: I have realised Her Majesty was too tall to flower in this little tent so I snapped her neck a bit. I installed a photometer app yesterday and discovered I was blasting Citronella with 75 DLI so I raised to light up until canopy level was 40 DLI. The LED is pretty good. The HPS Dual Spectrum bulb in the main tent must be on its last legs as output was around 40 DLI for optimally positioned plants and 30 least optionally positioned. I could do to buy a new bulb. Identical replacement is about fifteen bucks, best one is about fifty. For that I could get another one of those LEDs which seems like better value. At the moment though I really need the heat. So I am thinking identical replacement. 4 days to flower cycle! Day 38.5: Replaced crappy old Dutch barn reflector with a much nicer angel wing model. Installed a significantly larger carbon filter into the main tent which has significantly increased air flow. The main tent vents into the bottom of Queen Citronella's tent, and from there and unfiltered duct fan in the far top corner exhausts it out. The exhaust pipe goes up the chimney. Why have I reorganised and moved the tents again so soon is because I was wasting power heating the little tent with the LED light, but the main tent has excess heat. Well this setup is working a treat. Citronella is sitting in a balmy 23-24 degree wind tunnel. Check out the little video of the changes. Day 39: I think her majesty likes her new quarters. It's going to be weird seeing her square in a few more days. We are 2 days into a "dry spell" I'm simulating for all my plants. Day 40: Dry spell ended. Fertigated 6l. Day 41: Fertigated 3l. Citronella's penultimate day of veg, she is going 12/12 from lights out after next. Photos taken 10:00 9/2/23. Current lights out is Citronella's last 6 hour night! Day 42: Start: Have performed pre-flower LST, HST, and defoliation. 24 hours to flower cycle. Day 42: End: photographed immediately before first 12h night. End of week summary: Huge week for Citronella. I think this LED light is pretty good. Change of plans regarding the grow and preparing her for flower. Let's see how she does.

Just did the switch to 12/12. Decided not to scrog. It’s my first time not scrogging. I have been training them a bit. One of the plants has been abused by me a bit. It didn’t love being topped. Not sure but it grew very bushy and I’ve been working hard on it. Using it as a bit of an experiment.

I’m going to leave the seedlings in the small brown pots until their 1st node and then I’ll transfer them into bigger plastic 3.5gal pots with 80/20 soil to perlite potting mix. One Dosidos is looking a bit behind and the one with the weird leaves ended up catching up to the Northern Lights, maybe even growing faster than it. All Dosidos’ ended up dying but one and I’m sure it’s on the way out. Northern Lights has had no issues and growing perfect.

Day 36 flowering: Good afternoon growmies. This week has been a dream to watch happen , each of the plants has really put effort onto stacking the buds and getting into light positive positions. Six-shooter is the pygmy still unhappy been moved under the tsl2000 now so will get more direct light. I did a light defol on her to lose the bushiness she was showing. it is easier to see her potential now and I can work towards keeping her in productive phase. She jas some nice stacking already with very shaggy looking bud structures, should make an interesting finish. Strawberry Pie has continued to push budlets out all over the place. she does have fairly long node gaps and filling them out will be a task but i feel she will be more clumps of buds on stems than the donkey dick colas. Mexican Airline is pushing for star of the grow withbjer efforts. She has really took off now and her many many buds are starting to gain a great size for early flowering and stacking up really well too. its early days but i think she will be the plant to beat for yield... They are feeding really well and I amended the living soil this week with some charge and life-cycle. This should support life in the pots and further nute production alongside the megacrop/shogun . I am trying to find a balance using l.o.s and megacrop to keep them both actively feeding rather than the los "switching off" from the additional added. Megacrop is not a usual sodium based fertilised and is root ready as it hits the pot so shouldn't hang around in the soil like others would. I donhabe slight lead burn from the strength so will pull back on dosage a little. I do love how willing Fast buds autos are to go big ! The next weeks will be interesting to watch I hope now we are getting to the juicy bits. Who doesn't love a mid/late flowering cycle.? lol Be safe and well growmies

2/16 and week 14 Tara now in flush, 10 gallons of 6.0 water w/FloraKeen flushing agent took runoff down to 150 ppm above water. I dont think we are early at all as trics at 50-70% milky 30-50% clear. Good defoliation to get those nuets off the plant and light it up as much as possible. She may well finish under the MH. Will continue water for three days giving the same @ 1 gallon a day until water cutoff on Thursday, 2 days of no water then harvest Saturday if God is willing and the creek does not rise overmuch. Best I can do for her as the tent space is so critical atm 2/17 pics Continuing flush w/5ml FloraKleen 2/19 Ending FloraKleen its done all its going to do. Tomorrow is last watering and final check of trics - harvest Saturday pics 2/20 All go for Saturday, trics at about 80% milky so they should be hitting peak about then. This week i started flushing. The thricoms are all cloudy with some amber. Due that its an outdoor grow and they day is shorter the plant is finishing slower than usuall. The smell from this purple punch Autoflower is amazing and i am very happy with density of the buds. Hoping that in the next 10 days the plant will be done and ready for harvest.

Fast Buds White Widow is a strain that is easy to grow she can handle some stress if you have issues. She makes a massive bud on the main stem mine was 80 grams freshly trimmed!! She doesn't stretch much if your growing in a confined space. I'll repost what the total is dried and cured and smoke report as well. Smoke Report Update she's Earthy, Piney, with sweat citrus flavors, smooth pull, earthy, piney up front then then that sweat citrus when you exhale, really clean and smooth enjoyably smoke hits you quickly and then mellows out she has the ability to change your motivation level but not put you on the couch the rest of the day or night for the most part!!! 70% Indica 30% sativa. The total weight of the grow of 535 grams wet weight, when dried out to it was a total of 178 grams dry. That's a loss of 67% of the weight. She's a plant with thricomes that cover the fat, stinky, and sticky buds. I didn't have any problems with her. She can take some nuts for a autoflower as she never showed any signs of nutrition stress. Easy grow, strong plant, dense sticky buds, she smells sweat with a earthy note. I would recommend to any grower new grower you really can't mess her up, advanced grower she will give you a great harvest. Continue to grow your own medicine if you can or grow for someone you know that can't continue to make a difference in lives!!! Hey! Welcome to week four for Misty, a mystery auto from FastBuds. I update daily so go check last week which is now complete. :) Day 22: I have reconfigured the tent - see video for new config. Misty has more light now. Fertigated 2l. Day 23: I have heavily pruned the companion plants and performed some LST and defoliation (where big fan leaves block nodes, or are in the way). Pretty radical looking changes, brutal perhaps. I did it to Nesia last week and she responded very well. So let's see how Misty handles it. I have been doing increasingly tough LST since Day 7 in preparation for this brutality so she should bounce back. Day 24: See? :) Day 25: Misty had breakdrought at 0900. Fertigated approx 4l. Day 26: Trying to wait a week before further training. Day 27: Did a little gentle LST and took off 2 leaves. Didn't manage to wait a week only 4 days. Day 28: Fertigated 5l.

Skunk apple runtz both are still short and stockie. They look exactly the same I'm surprised being some random seeds I made. I hope they end up smelling like skunk Last grow I overwatered and had to toss them because growth got stunted and a bunch if fungus knats got to the soil. This time I'm trying promix potting soil wish I had tried promix hp but the store close by isn't a hudro store and that's what they had. So this time I'm being very cautious with the watering I'm only useing a spray bottle I'm currently giving 45 spray per solo cup every few days when it dries out. This promix soil seems to hold water decent so the 45 spray there is 0 water coming out the bottom the cup yet. Here soon I think I'm going to double the amount of spray to 90 and start letting the soil get dry dry before watering again. Probably will hold off on any nutes quite yet. I'm going from 24/0 to 20/4 light schedule this week. There getting to the point they won't strech as much is 4 hrs of darkness and I'm rasing the light intensity a little it's been around 150 I'm upping it to around 175. Most likely by the end of the week I'll probably be pushing 200 or close. Hopefully I can get them into the big tent soon At this stage I like to alternate having the fan blowing on them I feel it gives them time to recover and get stronger instead of wind stress. Also every few days I will turn the plants so they are facing away from the light making them grow back towards the light I fell it makes them stronger
