This grow had its up and downs but I must say I’m very happy with the out come with over 2 pounds. One of the plants gave me 7.5 ozs alone. Now I’m on to my next journey after my grow room reset. I will be running some fast buds white widow auto and jack herer auto in the grow ace air Cube be on the look out for that journal. Thanks for all who kept looking and liking the journal. Another good week. Watered them twice. I'm not planning on feeding them again. A little defoliation. I definitely think they are in the last 2 weeks before harvest. Still seeing some nutrient burn developing on the leaves. I don't think I watered enough through the whole grow! I'd love to hear opinions on this! Took some videos of the buds with an iPhone 12 at 6X magnification. Decent quality! Otherwise, still looking to successfully harvest these plants! Thinking about the next grow. Probably going to be Auto Strawberry Cheesecake and Auto Anesthesia. Peace!

12/09/2022 - 36 days since my little girl sprouted from seeds🌱 The first week of flowering my Mandarine XL 🍊🍊🍊 Nutrients: Jungle Indabox - This week I adjust the dose of nutrients to support flowering and added nutrients - flowering stimulators: Jungle Urban A: 0.5 ml Jungle Urban B: 1.5 ml Jungle Urban M: 1 ml Flower stimulators: Jungle Environ X: 1ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Candy 2 ml Advanced Nutrients - Bud Ignitor 1 ml Advanced Nutrients - Big Bud 2ml Hesi Root Complex - 5ml - last week of adding this nutrient Atami - ATA Calmag - when growing under LED lights it is recommended to use Calmag and Atami is an excellent brand, I give the same as in vegetation: 0.5ml. Lights: I don't change Bloom light, I still use Mars Hydro TS1000 - 150w full spectrum, great light to use both in vegetation and flowering 💡💡 Training: LST: third attachment of all twigs where flowers are formed 🌸🌸 Defoliation: the first big defoliation took place in the middle of the week, I removed the large leaves at the bottom of the plants and those that shaded the flowers 🍃🌞 The little girl has only grown by 5 cm since last week, she is already putting all her strength into flowering. The pistils at the ends of the twigs already form white tufts 😊💓 I can smell a subtle scent of herbs and flowers, but very subtle indeed. Day 99 09/10/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 with Plagron PK13-14 today to give her the extra boost they need. I will continue flush at end of week and next week. Day 101 11/10/24 Friday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Day 103 13/10/24 Sunday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today again. Day 104 14/10/24 Monday Picture update 😎💚 Day 105 15/10/24 Tuesday (End of week) Gave them all another 0.5L of de-chlorinated tap water with Plagron PK13-14 PhD to 6.3. Update on strains: DS- Auto Kabul is a robust, hardy little plant. Not many lateral sides bud it has bid sites climbing throughout main colar and it has a heavy top 🙌💚 Light green in colour and smelling like a zesty gas. DG/GF- Auto XXL Ammo - She is such a tall, stretchy plant, with alot of leaf to bud ratio! I won't do this one again as she requires alot of height space I don't have. She has a garlic, ammonia pungent smell to her. DG/GF- Auto lemon zkittles 🍋- This is A typical Christmas 🎄 tree shape plant, beautiful strong structure, resilient to pest. And has nice lateral sides with a bit of LST it would Unlock her true potential. She has a heavy main colar. Light green in colour dripping in trichomes, and smells like candy/ Z terps.

After another weekend spent away from home, on day 26 both Opiums present at 30 cm height, having grown big and bushy. Their thirst increased, I will water them when their next day starts. And do some more LST. Not too long until I can install the scrogging net. I am really impressed by their progress. They developed a lot of branching side branches and look really healthy and bushy. In contrast to what I wrote before, I think I can stay a few days longer with the current 80% 18/6 lighting scheme. Leaf positions do not show signs of light hunger, so no reason to change. Watered them with 1.5 l each on their 27th morning, this time adding some flower fertilisers too. Compensated their relief with some more LST. I can see in timelapse video they are tmelselves compensating this stress easily; it’s amazing to see how fast they turn their heads. You’ll see soon too. For reference: Pot diameter is approx. 25 cm. So lady #1 spreads about this much, lady #2 is even about 10 cm more. Guess they’ll make a very dense scrog surface, but first let’s have them have their stretch. Day 28 evening revealed ladies are getting thirstier. The holey pots might be helpful in root development, but they are not when it comes to keeping the tent clean. Because of their structure, water runs out in respectable quantities each time they are fed, which takes a long time to evaporate and adds to air humidity of course. Which on the other hand is currently quite ok. Outside air temperatures are around 30 °C the last days, so a bit more humidity helps to keep the VPD in range. Which is quite ok as I still cannot complain about their growth – around 2–3 cm each day currently. Grow video for day 28 (sorry about the interferences! Due to the control hard- & software being offline I cannot silence the blower(s) when a photo is taken anymore) shows steady growth and very vivid movements again. Dropping of their leaves around their evening is possibly due to me watering them again as soil was surprisingly dry already. On their day 29 evening, it’s clear to see how much they are stretching: They really gained 5 cm since yesterday! Lights are close to 30 cm, so I think I’ll reposition things a bit when their next week starts. Attached video shows the day’s progress. They say you cannot scrog an Automatic but seeing the development speed and bushiness I decided to give it a try nonetheless. I guess the buds can profit from being a bit more apart from each other if I handle to fiddle them through the holes in time. I rearranged the lights to be at about 45 cm apart from the tops and set the lights to 100% at a 16/8 lighting scheme, waking them up one hour later than before and sending them to sleep one hour earlier. Last day of this week, day 30, shows that growth speed has even increased. Lady 1 crosses the scrog net already which is positioned at 46 cm above soil. Gave them slightly enhanced water again, 2 l each.

* *********** Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * These girls have been continuing their growth this week and looking better all the time. GSC2 still slow though and will not have much yield. Her leaves have turned very dark this week due to lockouts I suspect. Her hairs are still very white and coming out pointy looking for pollen and swelling. GSC is still swelling and her buds are bigger at the end of the week. Purple colours also coming out in her. The big girl has done well being squished in the corner as I had to put the two in one tent this week. The frost in GSC has been coming out for the last two weeks and is really getting sticky this week. The pH is still crazy high for the girls but they are pushing through this issue and finishing up. These are very resilient plants and I am impressed with her vigour!! Still giving them feedings in the 3.0 pH range to help as her runoff is still coming in at mid 7’s......for both girls. GSC has been feed hard because her leaves have a nice pale colour, unlike GSC2, so keep her going and swelling. They were given a heavy watering of 8L each on day 71 to find out where the medium is. They were 7.9pH when started and last runoff was roughly 7.1pH......should have gone further to bring down more but stopped there so I didn’t flush out all of the feed since they have a couple fo weeks left. The hairs on GSC are turning more of a tan colour rather than snow white. I suspect she they have roughly this week plus another yet before thinking about harvest.......I see them going to 84 days roughly, 12 weeks. GSC bud sites are getting pointy this week. Added bamboo steaks to GSC to tie the long branches to and support her weight. GSC2 less so and are still looking more round as she continues to fill in her buds. GSC stems have been turning purple more and more this week. Suspect it is a combination of pH and stresses with temps. GSC2 was tied more this week as well to let more light in closer to the main stem. This paid off as well as she is stacking the lower points more. She, GSC2, has also paid a bit of a price over the last week because she was kept in the flower tent with other more mature girls. The environment in that tent was striving for 76 degrees and 51% humidity but GSC2 wants 82 degrees and 65% humidity........didn’t have much choice😢 Fast Buds has rocked this strain and dialled her in after the generations of breeding!! She is very frosty for an auto and had she been given the correct watering, she would be considered an easy grow In my opinion! The two girls are growing very different but that is grower related to transplant and not genetics. Awesome job Fast Buds......the girls are keeping me smiling......and scratching my head at the same time👍👍👍👍 Little more detail....... June 20/20 - Day 71 - 6L low ph flush of plain water @ 4.0 to bring down pH..........3L each girl. - Followed with a low pH feeding of 4L watering with Rezin, Liquid Wt, CalMag, B52 @ 2ml, Piranha @ 1ml, Voodoo @ 0.5ml/L, = 1170ppm and pH 4.4 - GSC1 tops are getting lots of purple in the bud. - GSC1 is filling in nicely and top leaves are starting to fade yellow. - GSC2 is dark😞 June 21/20 - Day 72 - continuing flush with 12L of plain water pH to 3.3 to bring down pH. - 6L given to each girl. - added bamboo stakes to pull GSC1 apart and open up the middle bud sites to more light. - GSC1 is 38" tall and 36" across now😀👍 - GSC2 is 20" tall and 24" wide👍 June 22/20 - Day 73 - 2L each watering with Rezin @ 1ml - hairs are turning more red and more white to tan now. - GSC1 is closer.....getting to home stretch soon. June 24/20 - Day 75 - watering 3L each with Massive & Terpinator @ 3ml/L, Rezin & Vita & L.Wt @ 2ml/L, Dual Fuel @ 1.5ml/L, CalMag @ 1ml/L = 1385ppm and pH to 3.9...crazy! - moved the two girls together today as the other two are going into darkness now, they are done. June 25/20 - Day 76 - Dry out day - GSC is doing well with her buds filling in now and firming up. Top leaves are drying more. - GSC2 is dark.....F......plain water and not much more we can do. June 26/20 - Day 77 - 7L watering with Rezin and Sensyzime @ 2ml = 75ppm and pH at 4.0 - 4L given to GSC and 3L given to GSC2. - Staying with RO water now.......tap water appears to have been an issue. - too bad the ph was such an issue.....GSC would be a monster😞 - run off numbers in pots: GSC 7.6pH and 780ppm GSC2 7.6pH and 1850ppm (she has stalled) Awesome strain Fast Buds.......will be running her again!!!!!!

I stretched the purple punch a bit further than usual, but love plant Strong stems so train early., Next grow I will actively lollipop a bit more but overall I'm happy.. Very consistent nugs

Today was wet out with amazing sun. Thinking of a shelter to build tomorrow. I just want to prevent bud rot if I can as much. this weather from here on out is going to be wet and high UV sun and then mix clouds so we just have 2 more weeks till harvest

Great week for my girls! I have removed the fan leaves and some of the underneath small stems. Increased feeding twice this week - first to 1.25L and that was just not enough for them and second to 1.5L as they are growing really fast, requiring more solution. From the following week I will switch them to 12/12

The lighting intensity is at 833 PPFD, and the solution in the reservoir is fine-tuned to a pH of 6.22, EC of 475, with a temp of 21.8°C. Let’s talk pH in the reservoir: it’s a dynamic process, and I’m constantly adjusting it to keep everything at the right level. The pH tends to rise throughout the week, and each day, I work it back down, fine-tuning it to keep those plants happy and balanced. Managing pH is truly a hands-on job, and it’s worth every moment. I love staying on top of it for optimal nutrient uptake—it’s all about consistent effort and keeping that perfect range dialed in. Leaf Maintenance & Selective Defoliation These leaves are HUGE and gorgeous, creating a lush canopy that’s nearly too perfect! I’ve been taking a few leaves here and there, focusing on leaves that may be blocking light from reaching lower parts of the plant. Selective defoliation at this stage is key because it opens up airflow and allows light to penetrate deep, boosting energy distribution across the whole plant. Big, healthy leaves mean we’re getting excellent photosynthesis, but a gentle, strategic defoliation can guide that energy toward those developing buds.
