Very old seeds, over 10 yrs old. I tried to germ lazily with soak and straight to peat with no success. I had to Germ more with a 30hr soak in tap water treated with Vitamin C to kill Chlorine & chloramines. Added 1/4 seedling strength nutes to assist the germ process. Soaked the paper towel with that treated water with 1/4 strength nutes. Placed the paper towel in a Tupperware and let it sit. Placed seedlings in peat pellets also soaked in treated water with 1/4 nutes. Than into the propagator & tent.

Funky growth after 4 days unattended too. PH spiked to 6.4-6.6. PPM 850 1 pheno started super cropping/LST’ing on its own.

3/8 - Nice growth this week. 3 have sexed already, 2 females and 1 male. One pheno keeps super cropping/lst’ing like crazy! I hope this pheno is a female. 🤞 Ppm 800

3/14 Update - This is my first grow in alomst 10 years and I dont know whats good or just average but I would say this week was pretty impressive and the babies showed great growth. So far we have 3 girls. I removed 1 boy mid last week. And there is still 1 pheno that hasnt sexed yet. I added the SpiderFarmer Se3000, this is my first time using this light and I had the lights way to close and caused some LED burn (I think). Moved to 20 inches away. My heater started malfuntioning and eventually broke this week. That caused some drops in temps, one night being 64F. I got a new cheap heater but it doesnt have a built in thermostat so than I experienced high temps of 88F. My res water temps got too high, hitting 76 at one point. I added insulation around the buckets and some for the top but I'm not using them, its a hassle taking them off all the time to check the PPMs & PH. This week I added the bloom additives. My buckets are 5 gallons but I'm only adding 3 gallons at the moment. The PPM ended up being 1400-1415 which I wasnt intending on. I think next week I will lower the Base nutrients. Before adding nutes I add one pinch of Vitamin C in each bucket to kill the chlorine & chloramines in the tap water Micrco Grow Bloom - 34ml each Bud Ignitor - 11ml Bud candy - 11ml Terpinator - 20ml Flower Fuel - 1/4teaspoon Hydroguard - 8ml After changing the buckets I decided to start LST, using some LST clips from Amazon. 3/15 Update - After 24hrs they seem to be responding well to the LST clips and the higher PPM's. I have not performed LST on the pheno E due to its size. With 2 plants the nodes stretched over night so I added more LST clips to the nodes. So far so good!

Plants are responding well to LST. I need to bring my PPM’s down, some leaves have nute burn I think. I went aggressive with one plant with the LST and those clips ended up chopping 1 plants main cola. So it was topped on accident.

They’re doing great! Responding well to LST (my 1st time) I brought the ratios down to 1ml per L for the M-G-B and after all additives PPM is 900 After emptying the res I decided to let clean water set in there for a couple of minutes & emptied that water out and it was darker than the water originally emptied out.

I didn’t expect the cal mag to raise ppms so high. Plus I dialed my LED to 100%. The combination showed signs of stress, nuts & led burn. They did start drinking way more water needing res top offs every 24hrs. I also just learned your suppose to add nutes to your top off water which I haven’t been doing so maybes that’s also been affecting the plants.

Experienced some nutrient & light decencies. Turned the LED’s to 100% and it definitely burnt them. Buds are starting fatten and resin a little more. I’m thinking we are about 1-2 weeks away to flush. 1 pheno is doing very well in regards to size and bud development. If I could cross I would cross to the pheno D, the biggest one so far. The only resistant one that hasn’t shown much problems but that resin production doesn’t seem enough to me.

First Time I did Flawless Finish for the last week I saw huge results I saturate media with it at 8ml per gallon let it sit for 6-8 hours then use Sledgehammer to flush it out and let the plant go on plain water https://cannacon.org/dispelling-the-myths-the-importance-of-flushing-your-plants-before-harvest/

Everything you need to know about flushing and how to do it properly for your grow it not about cleaning the plant it is about pushing her to feed off of her food starage just like a apple tree using all her energy in the leaf to produce fruit as fast as she can they don’t have time to make energy and fruit https://www.edrosenthal.com/the-guru-of-ganja-blog/flushing-cannabis-guide-everything-you-want-to-know

still there's one valid reason for flushing: save on the nutrients bill for one or two weeks per run.

First off thanks to everyone who’s helped along the way & for answering the harvest questions. 1 of the phenos has started it flush. Plain ph water for now and I’m thinking flawless finish next week. From what I’ve learned from the others and research and it that I should have hit it with flawless finish this week. The other 3 phenos were given full strength nutes and one last PK boost of flower fuel. Flowers are definitely fattening up. The girls unfortunately look horrible due to the various learning lessons this run.

I’m behind on journal entries. I’m currently at day 92. Pics were from day 89. 3 plants have started flush and 1 is still getting full nutes. After 1 week of Flawless I plan to feed plain water till finish. A - was flushed with Flawless finish @2ml per L. With Terpinator at 5ml per G. B - was flushed with Flawless finish @2ml per L. With Terpinator at 5ml per G. C - was flushed with plain PH water for one week (last week) with Terp at 5ml per G & this week was flushed with Flawless finish @2ml per L. With Terpinator at 5ml per G. D - was given full strength nutes.

Currently on day 97. 3 plants are still flushing and 1 has been given full nutes for 1 more week. I’m not sure if this is good or not but I decided to flush again with flawless finish for 1 more week. I’m still giving the flushed plants terpinator at 10ml per gallon. Beautiful purplish hues throughout the pheno with some deep purple flowers.

Happy with how these came out. Out of the stuff I weighed it came to 177.6 grams 6.3 ounces. This is after I smoked some and processed a lot into rosin (10-12g press), I’d say I’ve used around 3 ounces at least so around 9oz total. Cured these in the grove bags and after a month they come out perfect! Super easy and convenient, highly recommended! Smokes ok but the rosin is pretty good, returns aren’t great, around 10-13%

Can't wait to see how these turn out! I would say they got stunted a bit in week 1 from 24 hour light schedule. But they have great regrowth in the following weeks. Plants do their growth during lights off / sleeping time and it can take up to two hours for them to fall asleep so I always recommend 20 hours of Lights on and 4 hours off minimum even for Auto flowers. They may not need a change in the Light cycle to flower but they are still plants and need to photosynthesis with lights on and grow with lights off. During the Veg cycle, the roots of plants are small and sensitive. Humidity and heat provide an excellent way of being able to feed via foiler till root growth has grown large enough to feed and support itself. It is the Buds in flower that hate the heat and humidity. To have a better understanding of how big of an impact both humidity and temperature have, check out VPD and it's relation to growing cannabis. Here is a Link to more information about VPD : https://cerescann.com/importance-of-measuring-vpd/ Happy Growing!
