Medium: Look, I love coco/soil, organic/synthetic just as much as anyone. I’ve never really hated on any particular method and each has its uses depending upon the environment. That being said.... hydro is likely to be the predominant indoor method for us going forward. It ticks all the boxes that the average hobby grower is looking for. Maintenance is generally pretty easy, while I’ve found myself monitoring ph and tds more frequently, I’m still only mixing nutes once a week instead of three. The hassle factor is crazy mitigated here👍. From a sustainability perspective, nute consumption is wayyyy down, saving more dolla bills y’all! Added bonus is that veg. Growth rates are just insanely fast. From the moment she popped her head out to the start of week 4, this girl was fimmed, pruned, trained and flipped. She put out a full oz. more than the 6 week(v) mainline beside er😳. Now that is just straight amazing😎. The key advantages - BIG F$&K’N YIELDS and auto pilot care for up to 2 weeks. It is a little bit of a tricky medium but once you dial in the ratios - smooth sail’n the whole grow. I can focus on training/maintenance instead of feeding🤟🤟. If there’s a drawback to DWC it would be that I’d have concerns about leaving it for more than a couple days when she’s in full flower. They just drink so much that It’s a constant top off. All told, far and away the most effective and economical medium we’ve used😎. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Under this COB light system, the best method to date has definitely been a mainline. It’s got so much canopy penetration that we’re pulling down 16” long colas packed with well developed buds. Here’s where strain, medium and method kinda collide though. This girl was on a hurry up and go schedule. We lost the first one to root rot and had to get this one off the ground and mature before the cycle sched. Was gonna flip. Not to mention it was totally screwing with our spring nursery timing too. She was fimmed once and then splayed with LST. Not much either - just enough to get er spread apart a little. So you combine ultra fast growth rates of hydro with a big yield strain like this on a fast paced training method that limits required recovery times... and you get this monster. Just a perfect grow that anyone would be extremely happy with. We used frozen water bottles In the res. twice a day throughout the grow. My issues with light leaks and temps are well documented and I’m constantly running up against one or the other as a hurdle. This plant was no different and she started to re-veg. In the last few days prior to chop. All due to a light leak from the cabinet beside this one that was running on an 18/6. Gonna have to plug some light holes prior to next grow. Other than that - she was amazing and the method here is getting an unusually high and very rare 5/5.😳 Yield/Harvest🌴🌴🌴🌴 The final number is just so sweet. 6.04oz and she veg’d less than a month. Overall, I could confidently say that’s both faster and better than most typical autos in general😳😎👍👌. Any time your rock’n out 5+oz is a good haul but in this kinda time frame - that’s just crazy. We let her go just a little longer (again, as per Spliff’s direction) and it was worth the extra patience. She’s dense as all hell and a nice add to the stash🤟. Thanks as always for stickn around and watchn this one unfold. Sorry the update was so late but it’s been busier than expected. Even in the middle of COVID bullshit. Hope everyone remains safe and healthy. PEACE!✌️

June 21st : Figured I started off last week with a video update So i'd do the same this week. Buds are really fattening up. Making my mouth water when I stare at them. Smell is very strong when the exhaust is off and the tent open. Getting Hot around here lately 106 outside today. Trying my best to keep them cool but it seems like a losing battle. Good thing I have that co2 tank. 🙌 June 22nd : Decided to try out my Digital Microscope tonight see what I could see. WOW am I going to have fun doing Macro Shot's! This is gonna be so much fun! Nothing else done with the plants except some admiration! June 23rd : Didn't have time to get to pictures darn real life. June 24th : Watered tonight as they were showing signs of drooping from under-watering. I expected as much due to the recent 106-111F. Temps around my area lately. Hard to keep them all cool but trying my best. Everything's looking good as far as I can tell. 👌 June 25th : Tried my hand at more closeups boy was it a failure. Gotta turn off those damn fans next time *lol* 3 out of like 40 clicks were "ok". Oh well.. Another day.. June 26th : Had the breaker for the room my tent was in keep tripping after adding the t5 lights to everything that's already on the same circuit.. had to move the ac to another circuit. June 27th : Ended up bumping the timer switch on the lights to always on and ended up giving the girls 18 hours of light. 😭 Praying nothing goes hermie.. Didn't have time for pics the last two nights as I've had previous obligations.

I seem to be having a problem with my one plants leaves starting to taco, it hasn't shown any signs of dying, I have ph'd my water to 6.5, yet the other three plants are growing great. --- Any input or ideas on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated ---

Music in video: ➡️ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/niwel17/?hl=fr ➡️ TWITTER: https://twitter.com/NiwelMusic17 ➡️ SOUNDCLOUD: https://soundcloud.com/niwel-516897768 ➡️ FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/Niwel-Music-... ◆ CONTACT: [email protected] ◆ **************************************** Yesterday, day 105 and 62 days after the switch to 12/12, Kim, Jannine and Iris were harvested. 5 days in advance, I flushed the girls and after the EC was sufficiently reduced, I watered them one more time using FloraKleen. The next day, I watered with plain tapwater and runoff EC was the same as our tapwater. That Wednesday, was the last day I gave them water. On Friday, they had their 12 hours of light for the last time. I forgot to make a family picture just before harvest, but I did make a movie during those last hours of light. After 36 hours of darkness, I harvested on sunday. The coco had dried up quite a bit. The pots felt light to the touch, but when I removed Jannine from the tent (the one that was always in the middle), she immediately collapsed under the weight of her own buds! The same happened to Kim, only Iris was able to holdup most buds, but with a lot of effort. Apparently they had support from each other and the walls of the tent all that time. The buds were promising: heavy, hard and dense. Can't wait to see how they work out after drying and curing. Even the buds lower on the plants were not nearly as fluffy as my first grow, but more like little marbles. My first grow, I trimmed everything wet, but this time, I only removed the fan leaves and some of the bigger sugar leaves. Also, I kept the branches bigger this time. I threw a lot of the little buds in the trim pile, but since they were still looking and feeling like some good buds (but just small) I decided after harvesting the first plant, to throw them in separate containers. So I now have the trim from all the plants, mixed with some of the smaller buds from Jannine and two separate containers with the smaller buds from both Iris and Kim. It went into the freezer fresh, directly after harvest. Since I am lazy, I ordered a bubble washer, which will be delivered somewhere this week, to ease up the hash making proces. Can't wait to try some of the hash from these girls! As for most of the buds, they are drying in the tent. The circumstances could be a lot better: for weeks during flower, RH in our house was at 60%, but in the 24 hours directly after harvest, it came down to 40%. The weather changed from very humid to very dry and it will be like this until the end of the week. Considering it's about 23 degrees C in the drying room (maybe 22 during night) and the fact it will become increasingly warmer the next few days, I am worried about the buds drying to fast (by far my biggest concern), but also loosing some potency. It is now 24 hours after harvest and the buds are still pretty wet, so at least 3 days of drying should be possible, maybe 4. A few days slower would be better, but probably unlikely. Anyway, this ends my second grow. Off course, I will be back with the final results in a few weeks, after drying, curing, making hash of the trim/popcorn buds and off course, testing it all. I expect to start a new grow somewhere in august. Thanks all for following along and all the help during some troublesome moments. I hope you all have a great summer! Stay safe, keep growing!

She grew beautifully and smelled great. Wonderful lady. Would love to grow her again she threw weight like a boss. I can’t wait to cure her up and smoke her.

She is flowering more and more each day and getting bigger than I expected haha. I have had to construct a makeshift "scaffold" around the tent so I can hang the light higher. The leaves are now slightly to big for the tent, so I hope she dosent get much bushier. Lots more pistels, and lots more growth, quite happy. # new tent coming 😁

Welcome to week 6 I started to see signs of nutrient deficiency during the course of week 5 and decided to correct this deficiency by trying to lower the nutrient level by all signs it appears to have worked. I was using the recommended level of nutrients on the bottle but after having conversations with fellow Growers I come to the conclusion that it was still too strong for my plants so I'm using half the dosage. Doing that has resulted in the plants growing very healthy no signs of deficiency in any of the leaves above the lower leaves so it appears that I've corrected the problem. That's my update for the week keep your stick on the ice PPM's are at 1125 but 376 PPM of that is just the water and in installing a water cleaning system to see if i can bring that down
