Its been smooth sailing the last week, little to do but admire progress. I kept feeding the full 3.0 EC from start of flower to today, no signs of too much nutrients nor of too less. I wonder why, either the Athena Pro line is excellently fine tuned to what the plants need and nothing is left to really build up, or I am missing something big...expected some sort of problems at least, but I wont complain also...maybe its the silence before the storm and I am compromising what I would call formidable chances on a high grade yield😅 Ill keep this updated if something big happens or I find too much free time laying around.

6.12.25. 6th week flower started on 6.9. Gorilla zkittles still looking like a Frankenstein after being stunted by tying her down and being way stressed out! Still growing away though putting on bud but this is the smallest plant i have ever grown! Little disappointing but can’t wait for next grow! I’ll never stop growing been going strong for 15 years! Welcome to "Schroedinger's Plants," my first grow diary. This name isn't just a quirky choice—it comes from a (let's call it) gamble I took right at the start when I accidentally doubled up on the CALMAG FUSION in my grow medium, way over the recommended dosage. So, as of now, my plants might be thriving... or they might as well be toast. We’ll just have to wait and see. As I embark on this new growing adventure under the banner of "Schroedinger's Plants," the stakes are uniquely high. With a fresh grow tent, new lighting, and upgraded ventilation in place, every detail feels more pronounced, more vital. This isn't just a new chapter; it's a whole new book. As for Nutrients I got my hands on some Frosty Bud Nature All-In-One-Nutrimix thanks to a generous gift. These nutrients aren’t on the shelves for the public yet, so I’m really curious to see how they help my plants handle the extra CALMAG. The key players in this saga are three promising FastBuds strains: "Apple Strudel," "Tropicana Cookies," and "Gorilla Zkittlez." Each brings its own distinct flair to the grow tent, hopefully. I’m thrilled to report a 100% germination rate—every single seed sprouted within two days! And just three days later, those sprouts were already breaking soil. Week 4 Flower – Supercrop Week: Taming the Moon-Shooter Both Sundae Driver girls are thriving, stacking bud sites and frosting up fast. Pheno #2 tried to aim for the moon, so this week I performed a supercrop to keep the canopy even and unlock more lateral sites. She bounced back within days and is already curving up; new sites are catching light beautifully. I also did a light, targeted defoliation to open airflow, nothing heavy. Feed & Mix (this week) Testing a hybrid Aptus + Plagron approach at low solution EC to complement the rich, pre-amended soil. • Plagron Power Buds – 1 ml/L • Plagron Green Sensation – 1 ml/L • Plagron Sugar Royal – 1 ml/L • Aptus Regulator – 0.15 ml/L • Aptus CalMag Boost – light dose, just to keep LED demand covered Why low feed? The living/“easy” soil we built is still hot and active (medium EC ~2.96 mS/cm), so I’m keeping the solution EC ~0.4–0.5 mS/cm with pH ~6.1. That lets the soil do most of the work while I steer with gentle inputs and avoid salt stacking or tip burn. ⸻ Deep Dive: Supercropping (What, Why, When, How) What it is Supercropping is a high-control, high-reward training move: you soften (pinch) the inner stem tissues and bend the stem over without tearing the skin. The plant heals with a strong “knuckle,” redistributes hormones, and pushes more energy to side shoots. Result: flatter canopy, better light use, more productive sites. Why do it (Week 4 Flower)? • Pheno #2 outpaced the canopy and was nearing the lights • Even canopy = more uniform PPFD and bud development • Bending redirects auxins to lower sites → more usable bud sites • A late stretch check without heavy cutting Best timing • Ideal: late veg through early flower stretch (Weeks 2–4 of flower) while stems are still pliable. • Later than Week 4: be more cautious—stems lignify and snap easier. Step-by-step 1. Hydrate first: Slightly hydrated plants bend better than very dry ones. 2. Choose the internode you want to lower (usually the tall outlier). 3. Pinch and roll the stem gently between thumb and forefinger for 5–10 seconds to soften the pith. 4. Bend to ~45–90° toward an open space in the canopy. 5. Support: If the skin shows micro-cracks, wrap loosely with plant tape; add a soft tie or stake to hold position. 6. Aftercare: Keep airflow up, avoid heavy feeding changes for 24–48h, and don’t stack stress (no major pruning at the same time). What to expect after • Leaves may droop for a few hours; prayer and curve-up typically return within 24–72 hours. • A hardened knuckle forms in 3–7 days, strengthening the stem. • Side sites along the bent branch accelerate; top re-orients upward. • Usually less foxtailing later because tops are kept at ideal distance from the light. Risks & how to avoid them • Snap/tear: Don’t bend dry or cold stems; soften first and bend slowly. • Infection: If skin splits, tape loosely and keep humidity in check. • Over-stressing: Avoid combining with heavy defol or big feed changes on the same day. ⸻ Canopy & Care Notes • Minor defoliation only this week—just a few broad fans that shaded key sites. I prefer leaf tucking elsewhere to preserve photosynthetic “engines.” • Aroma is coming on; both phenos are stacking clean white pistils with visible trichome build on sugar leaves. • I took the girls outside the tent for a careful studio shoot—this might be the last time. Intentional supercropping is great; accidental branch breaks during handling are not. ⸻ Why this recipe (and why it’s gentle) • Power Buds helps flower initiation/transition behave predictably. • Green Sensation brings a compact PK + micro package and carbs; paired at low EC to avoid over-layering with the soil’s nutrients. • Sugar Royal supports metabolism and aroma precursors. • Regulator + CalMag keep cell walls strong, transpiration steady, and LEDs fed. • With substrate EC ~2.96, I’m letting biology and amendments supply most macros; the solution (~0.4–0.5 EC, pH ~6.1) is a steering wheel, not the engine. ⸻ What’s Happening Now • Stretch is nearly done; supercrop leveled the canopy without stalling growth. • Bud sites multiplying and beginning early stacking. • Trichomes appearing across sugar leaves; calyx build just starting. What to Expect Next (Week 5+) • Expect: • Stretch to taper off; energy shifts into stacking and calyx swell • Noticeably more trichomes; first hints of terp profile intensifying • The supercropped knuckle to fully harden; consider stakes or light trellis to support future weight • Don’t expect (yet): • Final density or full resin push—that’s more a Weeks 6–8 game • Heavy leaf stripping; I’ll keep it light to protect photosynthesis • Keep an eye on: • Humidity management as flowers bulk—tighten RH stepwise to mid-50s to reduce microclimate risk • Mg/K demand under strong LEDs (watch for interveinal fade or edge crisping) • Wound sites from supercrop—good airflow, no standing moisture ⸻ Connection & Monitoring I’ve logged a set of videos this week: TrolMaster data screens plus hands-on canopy time. Mix packs and Gorilla Z were fed Dr. Earth w/worm castings and top dressed with compost. All plants received full strength Silica Boost foliar spray. Mix pack#2 showed 2 unopen pollen sacks (?) which were removed.

ADVANCED SEEDS WEEK 3 AUTO PURPLE DIESEL This week has been exciting the growth has been phenomenal. I would say it's probably been 4in of growth this week. The shade of grren shows no signs of issues. I did add a little GH Calimagic to the feed so will see how they take it. All in all Happy Growing

Water week5 26.7.22

Week 5 for Fuel D.OG by seedsman, She's doing so well in her 5L pot she's drinking water with FPJ & some aptus regulator for better nutrition uptake, about 3 times a week. Atm she will be staying in this 5L pot until i have another 25L pot available. She was also topped again a 2nd time. 😛

End of week 5 took out that big ugly plant that took up a shit ton of room .. wasn’t expecting such a big yield decrease but hey shit happens. The single Nanaz I have left though is killing it super big beautiful buds! I have 2 Snowcandy’s that look amazing and got the white truffle lineage buds are golf balls and smell like straight peanut butter! The trichomes from them make your hands literally stick together . The other 2 snowcandys are the runts of the litter and are throwing like no weight out but still good quality at least !

What I thought to be a cal deficiency at first glance appears to be rust fungus or leaf septoria, but nothing rubs off of the spots, which confuses me. I freaked out and tore the hell out of the plant my buddy left on my doorstep, stripped all the freakin spotted leaves. I'm hesitant to toss it, dont know why, I did notice spots on 2 other plants, barely, bastard being one of them. Ill be keeping a great hawk eye on them, ready to pluck anything I notice with a rust spot or toss that one plant out of there if I see too much appear. I need to grab some neem oil as well. Maybe I shouldn't run the tent sealed anymore, as I think it could be a big reason for the fungus. I never let humidity get over 60 and I had pretty decent air movement, but they are squeezed in there. I'm freaking scared. Nothing rubs off these spots. My run off PH has been low which makes me think calcium still. Guess I'll do some big-time flushing. Flushed all with 6.8 water until run off reached 6.5, roughly 10-12 gallons each. I'll l feed them tomorrow. Usually, I flush around day 45. I was trying to see if i could get away without doing so, with that scrog n all. Whew, I was trippin out there there, after reading n shit I got thinking the worst, should've stuck with my original diagnosis. I'm sure they'll be ok.👍 Zipper broke off the tent the other night, so it's now "sealed" with a red blanket🤣

Yesterday I discovered that, in order to change my timer, I didn't put the clock back onto it. Now they had 3 hours more light on the third day of flowering. Exactly the kind of oopsies this grow really doesn't need. But it happened and all back on a normal schedule, but I hope the OHS en GG4 aren't affected by it too much... One accidental re-vegging is more than enough for a year. Also, these sensitive strains can hermie on me for lesser reasons so from now on I'll be checking for male signs daily. The XTraKush is performing as advertised, with enormous stretch, these plants can go 10 ft up according to the breeder. So I'm tying them down and managing this to fill out the space. With all the stuff going on, this 'underdog' strain might even prove most resilient, when all is said and done. They seem to respond really well to the SP-3000 light and If you are in the market for a new light, consider this option from Mars Hydro. 10/18 the mite and thrip damage is getting more obvious but all in all as a plant shes looking more 10/22 sprayed with safer brand insecticidal

Sie hat einen interessanten Duft am Start und ist weiter als gedacht!(Aussehen) Die Trichome sind an allen Buds, auch innerhalb und unterhalb, komplett milchig und Bernstein! Also wird jetzt nur noch Wasser gegeben und dann geerntet! Persönlich finde ich sie wunderbar gelungen,vom Aussehen, klar durch anderen Schnitt hätte man nur colas bauen können! Zoap is doing awesome, she grows at least a quarter inch a day if not more. I’m going to do some mainlining on her.
