Sept 10th This week was windy and finally some decent shower. Nature was begging for it but as we all know it was a headache for me personally. I went to visit the girls and noticed how the wind was taking its toll. Killer Kush (the biggest) was banking 15 degrees and the Outdoor Grapefruit was acting as a windscreen for Maroc. She needed some more defoliating to prevent moisture getting stuck in tight places. I pulled the net further down to improve airflow...a little to much. When i pinned the lower ring to the ground a big branch snapped😪 Emergency repair was done and I believe she will be all right. She was reinforced and i build a nice tent over the wound to prevent water coming in. Open from the bottom still alowing air to pass underneath.

Well, what to say other than the pictures can already show? I wish the GZkitz buds were just as large as the Critical ones :D Maybe they will surprise me and flower one week longer then their sisters :P :D For some reason I get an error when I try to upload the time lapse video, hope it workes out in the end!

Coming along very well. Will begin flushing a few of the strains soon. The gorilla skittlez and the wedding cake are looking super frosty! Started harvesting the gorilla glue but will only post the whole set of pics once it is dried and cured and ready to be smoked.

Did defoliation on my plants , still waiting preflower confirmation, i made my first timelapse video using my spare LG G5 phone that i drove over accidentally one time, still work , even though the screen is wasted... anyways modern problems need modern solutions, and my problem is money, so remember kids, always think of modern solutions , dont buy a gopro hero6 when you already have an old phone...

This week, I gave my plants more fertilizer to test if they show any signs of burning. Now, I'm stressed out! I think I should give myself some seaweed to relieve the stress 😂 The girls show signs of calcium deficiency. I sprayed a small amount of calcium and magnesium on them to help them recover faster. I’m not sure why the new leaves are very pale. Could they be lacking iron? I think the high soil moisture might be causing issues with iron absorption, but I’m not completely sure. I’ll wait and see what happens this week. Considering that I use regular water, I expected them not to have a calcium deficiency.

Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. This tent is shaping up to be a legendary grow!

Progress: starting to harvest. Update 10/9, we’re in the amber zone and will cut it all by 10/11. Marathon OG; 1 plant. Started harvesting earlier in the week, gradually taking down mature or at risk colas. The plant is probably going to be my best this year. Yield so far; I harvested 75%: fresh froze 2gal and cured 9oz. Theres another 4 oz still on the plant. 75% good to high quality dense and resin packed buds. This yield is for a 20 gallon plant. Lava cake: 4 plants (3-15 gallon 1-5 gallon). The main colas were mature with some amber. The sex pods were rotting on some so I took them down first to prevent any bud rot. Colas were mature (mostly mains) with hard dense buds. I took 30% and left about 70% still growing. I froze 4 gallons and harvested about a pound or so, hard to say yet as it’s just starting to dry. PPP is still waiting to be harvested. Funky looking purple bud stacks. Still some clear trichomes, mostly milky. Cant wait to try it. I ran some bubble hash: I ran some fresh frozen marathon OG as well as a pound from last years harvest. Bubble Hash Yield; < 2 0z 3g rosin quality A+quality (use a rig!) 10g high quality (dark rosin hash) A- quality 38g hash C quality (smoke in joints, like OG hash, but cleaner.) 10g low grade d/e quality (edibles or press for rosin) The fresh frozen produced the high quality rosin, but at a lower yield. The dried and cured pound from last years harvest produced so much ( an ounce and a half) it clogged up my micron bags. It’s good hash, but nothing like the fresh frozen rosin like hash. It’s gonna be a busy week of feeding, scoping, harvesting, drying, curing and trimming. The lava and the OG smoke great. The marathon og is so far my favorite to smoke. I have not tasted the purple push pops yet…..

Greetings, fellow cultivators! Week 5 unfurls like a verdant tapestry, and my Blackberry Auto continues to astonish with her relentless growth and burgeoning beauty. Join me in this chapter of botanical marvels, where every leaf and bud tells a tale of meticulous care and burgeoning potential. Unstoppable Growth and Insatiable Thirst: Blackberry Auto's growth knows no bounds as she reaches for the heavens, drinking voraciously from the AutoPot Aquavalve. The rhythm of her growth is like a symphony, each day bringing new heights and newfound vigor. It's a testament to her vitality and the nurturing environment she thrives in. Enormous Leafs and Branch Bending Mastery: The foliage has evolved into a canopy of gigantic leaves, each a masterpiece of photosynthetic prowess. As I continue to bend branches, opening her arms to the light, the canopy becomes a labyrinth of greenery, optimizing light penetration and promoting lateral growth. It's a dance with nature, where every bend is a stroke of horticultural artistry. Budding Beauty Unveiled: As the first week of flowering (or pre-flowering, depending on interpretation) dawns, Blackberry Auto reveals the promise of her floral bounty. The buds, adorned with an intricate structure, are a sight to behold – a precursor to the botanical masterpiece that awaits. It's a moment of anticipation, where each bud holds the potential for a harvest of unparalleled quality. Rapid Evolution and Community Gratitude: With each passing day, Blackberry Auto evolves into a botanical marvel, a testament to the magic of cultivation. A heartfelt thank you to @fastbuds_official for bestowing upon us this exquisite strain, a true gem in the world of cannabis genetics. To Aptus Holland, my main sponsor, your support fuels this green journey and enables the flourishing of Blackberry Auto's potential. Kudos to Grow Diaries for providing the platform to document and share this journey, and a shoutout to the community for the camaraderie and shared passion that enriches our collective cultivation experience. Cruising right along. Baby girl is definitely devilish. Week 11 feed this week ph 6.4 runoff at 6.6 environment high of 81.9F 51%RH low 67.5F 39%RH. She’s stacking at top still shooting pistils out slowly. Taking slot of real estate in tent had to get rid of one other plant :( but this one shall prevail. Super eager for the buds. The scent she leaves on your fingers after interaction is lovely.
