Week 3 = Defoliation!

Day 28

Day 64 - Starting week 10 today and flushed her with 2 gallons of water and 40ML of FoxFarm’s Sledgehammer. I’m hoping these last two weeks she’ll really fatten up and start her leaf fade. Went ahead and removed a couple of dead fan leaves from the bottom as well. Day 66 - Nothing much new today, she’s definitely still fattening up. Had to remove a couple more dying leaves but all good other than that. Will give her straight pH’d water next watering and then will do one more flush with the Sledgehammer after that. Day 67 - Nothing much new today, gonna end up needing some water tomorrow. She’s still plumping up nicely and smells amazing. Day 68 - Gave her 2 gallons of plain pH’d water today to try and get all the nutes out so she’ll start eating from her leaves. Looking at the trichs, I’m looking at a chop happening next weekend. Day 69 - She definitely swelled up quite a bit over the last 24 hours. She looks to still be on track for getting chopped this weekend. I’ll give her a bit more water and sledgehammer in a day or two and then let her dry out till chop day. Might try putting her in complete darkness for 24-48, just to see if I notice any difference in her. Day 70 - The end of week 10 and everything is still on track to be chopped no later than this weekend. I don’t really see any clear trichs in there and starting to get some amber. Will probably give her one last flush tomorrow and let her go until the weekend.

Well I'm a bit upset last week I ended up dropping my ph meter in a tank of nutes I was mixing and by the time I got it out the meter was junk. I was planning on flushing the crystal but had to wait another week for the meter. I suppose the good thing to take from this was I found out why I was having issues with my plants. When the new ph meter came in I went to check my run off and my nutes that I had all ready mixed up. It turns out that my meter i had been using this whole grow was off by about -2-2.5 so this whole time I had been feeding the plants at around 3ph smfh. I cant believe they look how they do knowing what went on this whole time. Fastbuds crystal meth is 3days into flush and i will be cutting it down this weekend most likely. Mephisto hubbabubbasmelloscope is smelling like sweet sweet candy and is thick in resin Bighead seeds freeze berry/ blueberry crumble has a dank pungent stank to it and also is frosty but larrfy Big bomb is still growing thick and have bud sites everywhere Now I'm ready for the next batch and ready to get dialed in!

4/23/25 A few of these plants seem to be longer flowering genetics which is kind of annoying because of the feed schedule. ive been feeding them with the plan of 8-9 weeks flowering and we are starting week 8 it is day 50 since 12/12 and some of the plants are producing quite a bit of pistils with not much bud growth at the moment. But plant #3 is producing some nice chunky golf ball sized buds and is on track with my feeding schedule but some of these other plants might go 10 weeks Top dressed with: 2tsp of microbe charge 3tsp of Bloom

At day 22, the girls has cut their water consumption by over 60%. the strech is definitely over. The buds are now swelling. The terpenes are showing themselves.

Week 2 and 3 for the runtz, i excepted i would be a little bigger by now or i’m just not patient enough 😌 the sticky beast is taking a run tho 👌🏾

these buds have sat out for a few days be4 being trimmed completely and jarred.. i will continue to burp them daily for a few weeks and then test a bud or 5.. the smell of this stuff is truly amazing and i can not wait to pack it in the bong

Ok, so I forgot to update this last week. woops, I will try and remember all the details but im sure to be forgetting something. I decided to strip the plants a bit as I felt their bottom half under the canopy was a bit to thick and under performing It has a bunch of shity stems and buds trying to develop and they where looking sad and spindly, not enough light, If i had under canopy lighting sure that's fine I'd leave em and they would thicken up, but I don't; so they had to go. I selected defoliation as a techniques used but I did not touch anything in the canopy. only below it, it was all not performing well and would have just increased the risk of bad airflow and maybe rot come late flower. I also have been noticing more issues with the one plant then the others and my hydro shop guys said it need more feed, I don't know how much I agree with them about that, they do not grow with amendments but it was time for the topdressing anyways. I mixed up the stuff and worked it into the top soil of the plants outside on the deck, when watering it in I also mixed it with my hands, I found this helps hydrate the Gaia Green powders and prevented them from forming dry pucks in the top layer. I think I need to always do this morning forward with all top dressings as just mixing it into the dry soil then watering is causing to much resistance and the top layer then gets a little bit crusty and hydrophobic, but mixing in while watering at the same time has prevented that from what I can tell. I also gave them a bit of a liquid soluble calcium as the PH was creeping back up again and didn't want that to be locked out. It helped to green up some of the plants again still the one is a bit to yellow for my liking. The top dress consisted of AP 4-4-4, PB 2-8-4 and some IF 3-2-4 Mixed it all up with something else can't remember, probably fulvic acids and magnesium. I also did a bit of a calibration on my tools as well as I felt they might be off a bit. The EC was not to bad, off by 41ppm or 0.082EC vs the base solution, my unit is a 500 scale pen eg. 500ppm=1.0EC PH was a bit more off by PH 0.18 from the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I did not do a before for the PH 7.01 calibration solution as I started at 4.01 but its still close enough in the end at PH 7.03. The storage solution is almost always the same as the PH 4.01 calibration solution. In their manual it says if you don't have any storage solution just use the PH 4.01 calibration solution. I feel they maybe the same thing but one has red dye and some stabilizers in it. Who knows. O and when working on my deck garden I was upcycleing the old cannabis growing mediums into the planters from the strawberry tent grow off, the one shaft from an older plant was purple inside when I broke it. It sat outside all winter so who knows what it was, I'm guessing its just anthocyanins or something similar. Week 5 of the reveg. And no more than 1 week left to launch!👍. They’ve all taken off over the last week with the boogie nights finally bursting into mature veg. Same goes for the Blueberry which has been the slowest to date. They’ll need the rest of the week for sure. Funny thing is that it’s starting to look like this reveg. Run was unnecessary. The mothers have recovered from the light cycle disaster and are now looking like budding winners once more. I’m too far in to this run to pull the plug now which is frustrating. We’re anxious to get into a few reg. Seeds next cycle for another pollen collection so this has slowed the sched. Considerably. Despite such it’s been a great test for the dutchy system and our new nute line from Druid Nutrients. I don’t shout out shit unless it’s truly doing something good and Druid is proving a remarkable component. No issues or deficiencies. Even with one particular strain (the Skywalker) where a calmag def. was expected to be a certainty. U folks keep up the good work👍. Was a lovely plant from start to finish. Very manageable and very much an Indica through and through. I'd probably defoliate and lollipop a little more if i was to grow this strain again.
