Hello everyone A good week here but not that great weather. The plant spend 4 days inside my garden house with an open door for fresh air Outside so much rain that I just didn't want to take the risk. Also a higher humidity in morning so better safe than sorry She did receive enough light but it's not perfect, I know Some buds are a bit closer together and that's the only minor thing so far. Not problematic but I keep a close eye They are really bulking up now and starting to produce a bigger smell 😄 One feeding this week and one time neem oil watering. I think I'm gonna give one or two good feedings and then it's flushtime Last year i harvested in middle of August and I think it's gonna be pretty much the same this year. Will look more after the the trichomes this year. So far so good Fingers crossed for the last 3 weeks (I think 😁) Happy growing 🙏 Update : made a shelter, not perfect yet but it does the job 😄

Flower Week 3

Day91: 72h of darkness and they all be chopped. Harvested and jarred the experiment grow (the plant was rescued then topped) 21g total. Not bad all things considered. I think I can get 100g with the whole grow Chop day: 31/8 day 96. Plants are drying in the tent at 25ºC and 61%RH

I've been waiting for at least some trichomes to turn amber. I prefer to harvest when there are at least a few amber. I took the PL2 3 days before the PL1. Flushed them for a week only

Ordered a scale the other day so should have some more numbers tomorrow! Not going to sample anything until I get the scale, then I'll update with some more details.

Week 14 - 06/14 - 06/20 Light - 400 W HPS & 265 W LED Temperature - 76 +/-3 Humidity - 40 +/-5 D43 Flower - Watered the ladies, they are swelling up nicely. While I am happy to stare at these beauties daily, this is definitely the boring part of growing, not much to report besides beautiful bud growth. They have also started to produce a strong scent, to the point where I will smell the entire house up if the garage door is open. Loving the way this grow is turning out. D46 Flower - Water with nutrients and added some blackstrap molasses to the mix. I took a risk today and tested out some late flower defoliation, I took the large fan leaves off two of the clones and front Hulkberry and Royal Gorilla Scrog. I want to see the difference in growth with late flower defoliation. D47 Flower - Moved the LED light a little further away, I had noticed some light burn on one of the clones. Decided to build a drying box since I am pretty sure I will have to harvest these strains separately. Added some pics, its a quick build out of some stuff I had laying around the house. Only had to buy a $10 filter that I could cut up and $20 silica gel packs. I am running the exhaust air from the tent into the dry box that will filter through the $10 charcoal filter I cut up and doubled up on the filtration. I'm going to add refreshable silica gel packs in the box to help fight humidity. Hopefully, it works.

What a pleasure to grow such beautiful plants. the buds are big and resinous, with strong gassy and fruity smell.

Día 29, estoy ya un poco alucinado, es día 29 y no paran de crecer...he cambiado el agua he Intento subir un poco el ppm al agua, y me da excesos... Así que decido dejarlo bajo a 300ppm y creo que lo voy a dejar así hasta el final... Llevan enzimas de limpieza que descomponen el abono así que dejaré que se auto alimenten porque van super bien ... Haber si pasan hambre.. pero no lo veo claro...en fin no me quiero pasar en el engorde meterle mucho abono y están super verdes bonitas, y florecen a lo bestia así que dejaré que se consuman un poco el abono de las hojas... Día 36 veo que empiezan a tener carencia de magnesio y calcio, he añadido no sé, una locura de magnesio y calcio, también melaza, ácidos fulvicos y humicos y pk bastante.. lo fui subiendo de 150ppm a 400ppm y vi que se lo comían rápido y subían las hojas , al fondo vi que se empezaban a quemar las hojas y algunos pelos por falta de magnesio y calcio así, que me volví loco... De 400 ppm a 800ppm va cargada a tope... espero ahora no causar ningún exceso ... Mañana miraré como reaccionan a la bomba que les he metido van a tope al máximo, si veo que tienen exceso ,no habrá otro remedio que bajar ppm quitando y metiendo agua limpia, y si veo que van bien en las dejo... En teoría voy bajo de ppm tendría que ir a 1200ppm como mínimo, para la semana que voy y más si le añado co2... Pero bueno iré con 800ppm si veo que va bien lo dejo si veo que piden más le añadiré , de momento mañana investigaré... 😅😅 Día 37 por mucho que ayer les metí, más magnesio encimas ácidos fulvicos etc... No he visto ningún cambio... Así que he vuelto a indagar en el tema.... Y creo que más bien tienen carencia aparte del magnesio y calcio, tenían carencia de posforo y potasio, así que como no, me he vuelto loco echándole pk.... Tenía una ppm de 450 se lo subí a 800 y empezaron a subir las hojas, estaban como apagadas ... Total que me vine arriba y les he metido casi 1400 de ppm de sopetón... Así que mañana una de dos, o están quemadas por exceso , ( que no me extrañaría...) o están las hojas buscando la luz y engordando como locas.... Bueno como dije al principio del diario aprendo del error acierto... Y bueno ya se que en la 3 semanas de floración piden ya magnesio calcio y pk , el calcio magnesio que tenía , tenía nitrógeno y me dio exceso por eso estaban un poco con garra... Está vez he comprado calmag de biobizz que es orgánico y no contiene nitrógeno o eso e entendido... Pero si tiene será orgánico... En fin espero que en las k1 tizane no tener muchos problemas de nutrición he comprado un pack biobizz todo orgánico ....

Week 5 for 9lb hammer F2, They have been moved outdoors to make space in the indoor tent. They have been topped also but still being kept in the shade as they have only gone outside 2 days ago. The mulch to keep her soil cool is just straight up hay (going for as low spending costs as possible) which i had laying around the garden already from a few years ago😇 Looking forward to seeing how they react being moved outdoors.

Week 8 of flower is in the books and this show is quickly coming to an end. I said last week we had about 7-10 days and I was spot on at the 10 day mark. I was only wrong about the order. The cheese is ready to chop before the rest and the gorilla cookies, cherry Bomb and lemon haze will follow in due course. The cheese is a beast and it’ll take a little time to get it all run through the bowl trimmer. At least the big one goes first. Her tallest colas have foxtailed like mar, despite the late supercrop. You can tell where the sweet spot for the light is at about 10” distance from the canopy. Any closer than that and the tails begin to show prominently. It’s a good example of just how close you can get to these fixtures with a little bit of prior experience. It’s been noted for the next run😎👍😎. The res. is on an h2o2 only flush for the remainder until the rest are ready to come down. Not a moment too soon either - the pollen chucking project has stalled out waiting for these girls to finish and now that we’ll have a little extra room, we can start running our cuts in the aerocloner🤟. Not long at all now folks. Thanks for tagging along through all this. Learned a bunch about this system and we’re back to hardware mode to make some serious improvements for the next run🤙😎. I love hardware mode😉. Background/Repetitive Nonsense The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru. OOOOOH at this time i love all of you, growmie 😍 200gr of pure happiness, never before! 🙌 Buds are compact like rock, shine like diamond...it's unbelivable, looks perfect!
