Day 28: Welcome to week 5 start , the ladies are killing it in the house !!!!. These strains are amazing growers all round. While building the framework for their flowering period they responded well and agreed to stay put with a bit of tying down and supercropping. Since that point and flipping to flower , they set off sending every possible budlet to the canopy top. I felt bad stripping so many hopefuls out and reduced their numbers quite a bit all round. The remaining buds are the most stacked and lonely to be worthy of drying. FFT#1 Looked a little sparse after her strip with not too many mains to show for her age but the last few days have changed my concerns as she has put it all into the others rapidly. Bud stacking is nice and close but I have left some of the skinny stacks on the outer edge to fill out too.She needs the help !. FFT#5 is showing #1 how to force your way into the best position !!!. It is a nice sized plant for a limited height grow room. The training of these is a must if your per plant yield is to be achieved in my opinion. She has responded perfectly to the lst and bending and her lower framework has produced a lot of very workable mains. FFT#7 Still continues to be the biggest in the house and is looking very tightly stacked. Like #5 , she has some chunky little buds to create baseball bat colas. The main stem at the soil is so thick and bulbous now that I will need a chainsaw for harvesting. They are all producing frost and oil when rubbed a little and there are distinctive smells between them that are familiar and range from fruity to sour ish diesels. Seeing their size now with another possible 4weeks to go at least , 2 of which will be bud swelling weeks , fills me with hope of a great harvest from these winning genetics . I will be a buyer of these strains when released without a doubt. Roll on the other 9 to try out. Until next week , stay safe and sane , enjoy the family/Home time.

Grew great. My harvest information was in previous week. This plant looks like dense nugs of goodness. Sweet seeds has always been some great smoke. Working on final trim now. Thanks everyone and happy growing. I will be back soon with final weight.

Hello Diary. It completed the last week of flowering, a total of three weeks of vegetation and seven weeks of flowering. A total of 80 days since Purple Punch # 1 sprouted, while Purple Punch # 2 I had to put on germination again because it didn’t sprout at first. In the end it was 5 days late but as you can see, the harvest was the same day. The conclusion in the end is that Purple Punch exceeded my expectations, although they look totally different, the height and build of the stems are the same, the flowers are totally different. It is well seen in the photos. While it doesn’t have the purple color I might have expected given the name, the flowers are hard, full of trichomes and have a strong sweet scent. We’ll see after drying what we made. There were only two waterings this week, I wanted him to consume all the water to make the drying faster. The condition in the growbox is satisfactory, the temperature is around 25 degrees while the humidity is below 40%. Here’s what the last week looked like. 31/04/2021 - Day 64. Watering. I regulated p.H. at 6.3 and with 7 liters of water I evenly watered all three plants on the “farm”. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25 degrees and 37% humidity. 03/04/2021 - Day 67. Watering. The procedure is the same as three days ago. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.3 degrees and 38% humidity. 07/04/2021 - Day 71. Harvest. After I did the photography, first one plant and then another, I cut the plants at the bottom of the stalk and hung them upside down in a growbox to dry. The temperature in the Box is about 25 degrees and the humidity is slightly lower than 40%. I turned off the lights and left only the ventilation on while I also turned off the fans. And now all three plants are hanging upside down, two Purple Punch and their roommate Watermelon. They are preceded by about two weeks of drying, maybe a little less, so I call with one last review. Day 49 - I used the Fox Farms trio of nutes last week and the results are fantastic. The plants look healthy for the first time. Day 52 - Another watering with the Fox Farms trio. Buds are fattening nicely.

Day 99 - Cleaned all of the underside below the second net. Watered with 4 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Day 104 - Watered with 6 litres of water with nutrients listed above. Day 105 - All flower sites are shooting out lots of Pistils, plant still shows signs of stretch and I think she still has a bit more to go before she settles into her finishing height.

Probably need to do some cleanup here soon. She's getting very bushy but I'm maintaining a level canopy, the outside shoots are catching up to the centers and I will let her grow about 6-8", clean up the bottom and flip to flower, maybe 2 to 3 weeks left in veg 1/1/23 - cleaned her up a lot, took out lots of shoots that will never see the top light and spread out the canopy. Very square shape.

Plants 1 & 3 are doing good. #1 is a beast so far. I will probably start flushing plant #3 here soon, she got stunted and I don’t think she’s really packing on weight anymore. So part of plant #2 was dry enough for jars after 5 days. Dry trimmed about an 38g. Still have about 2-3x as much left to trim. I think I’ll wet trim the other two it seems way harder to dry trim. I’ll have a total dry weight for plant #2 tomorrow.

2.10.2024: Just moving along nicely one day at a time. 2.11.2025: Gave 32oz of water at 6.3ph. The plant is stocky and bushy. Due to the short stems and large fan leaves, the lower nodes aren't getting much direct light. I'm tempted to defoliate but a lot of seasoned vets say A) you shouldn't defoliate as a beginner and B) if the fan leaves act as "solar panels" i'm afraid that will stunt. 2.12.2024: Day 24. Steady as she goes. Temp at 74 and RH is 58%. First sign of white tips on new growth. After some research it could be the start of light stress/burn or something nutrient related OR it could be nothing and normal. I very much want to defoliate the two large fan leaves in between the 4th and 5th nodes as they are completely blocking the lower notes. Opted for tucking instead. 2.13.2024: Day 25 from seed. No change. Still have some white tips but only on the new top growth. Not much vertical growth still. Plant was dry today and felt light so i watered 64oz of 6.4.ph. Seems to be drinking faster now. Raised the light to 16 inches from top of the plant. 2.14.2024: Day 26. Moving along. No water, no light adjustment. 2.15.2024: Day 27 from seed. Plant is healthy for the most part. New growth on top have some white tips and i'm thinking its from light stress. Light is 18 inches from the top of the plant and still at 112 watts Few sets of large fan leaves are blocking the bud sites from light and its all over the place regarding development. I want to clip them but afraid it'll stunt. 2.16.2024: Day 28 from seed. End of week 4 from seed. Top 2 inches of soil were very dry and pot felt light so i gave it another 64oz of water at 6.3ph. 8 to 10oz of run off. Run off tested at 6.4ph, 2100ppm. Having temp challenges so i shut the humidifier off. Currently sitting at 75 with 47rh.

Added yellow sticky fly traps to all cubes as a preventative measure to avoid infestation of fungus gnats. So far none have been spotted. Defoliated and did a little more LST to all the plants to open up the center and give more light to lower shoots. Blue Dream 3 and Chemdawg 3 started showing some discoloration on the leaves (yellowing around the veins) and also the leaf tips curling down. Did some research and came up with this... Possible diagnosis: - Yellowing around leaf veins could be a sign of Magnesium or Iron deficiency - Leaf tip curling down could be a sign of Nitrogen Toxicity. - Both could be caused by improper ph balance in water Possible solutions: - Applied Botanicare CalMag+ as a foliar feed and added some to the reservoir. CalMag+ contains Calcium, Magnesium and Iron. - Diluted nutrients in reservoir to lower amount of nitrogen being fed to plants. Was feeding them at 1300ppm, lowered it to 1050ppm - Tested runoff and saw it was coming out at 5.4pH so I increased the pH in the reservoir to 6.0. Now the runnoff is testing at 5.7pH, meaning that my rootzone is in the optimal range of 5.5-5.8 Well wait and see how the plants react to these slight tweaks. Hopefully we start to see a nice healthy even green again.

Overall the plant yielded good dense nugs with strong smell, if your planning on running these seeds make sure you have a good germination rate so you can get at least 1 good pheno with good color on it. This strain was very resistant to deficiencies, large amount of root development and decent lateral growth. I will post nug shots after dry and trim

Awesome grow so far...stem rub is very fruity smelling and beautiful purples..under the medic grow fold-8 760w at 50% at about 20 inches so far so good!🔥💨🤟🤙..also added the vivosun under canopy light

They’re doing their thing outside, harvest will come up very soon for at least 2 of them. No nutrients, no water, just rain water and lightning LOL 🌩️
