Week 7 5/19-25 Opium received only rainwater for the last 2 weeks. Since I was in Colorado last week, I feel very behind on my diaries. Despite my absence, my outside gals did just fine. Opium loves the outside sun, breeze, and frequent rain. Week 9 6/2-6/8 Now at the start of week 9, my outside gals, except L. Cake are now in flower. Several pics show the very narrow new leaves and small white hairs evidence of flower formation. 6/7 This is the first time I’ve had to add nutrients to her feeding. Some lower leaves were yellow. Since I’ve been using amended soil, this indicates Fractal is a heavy feeder. Nutrients in soils are used up and she is starting to use her own food sources 6/7 5 gallons well water TPS1 60ml used 1 gallon per plant =12ml Cal-Mag 25ml used 1 gallon per plant =5ml Recharge 5ml used 1 gallon per plant =1ml Signal 1.25ml PPM 1414, PH 6.93, Temp 82.5 Note I do not have to PH adjust my well water. However, our city water comes out of the tap at 8.2 ph so I must PH down using the city line hose and my inside grows. Week 10 6/9-15 Fractal loves the outside. She bushy and 3 1/2feet tall. All are showing yellowing leaves so everyone is now getting nutrients with feedings. I saw a Japanese beetle on my Lemon Cake and some small holes in the leaves so I added 1/2 tsp neem to the feed solution 6/12. Also started using fish & kelp. I'm still watering 1 gal per plant when I feed 2x/week. With the heat and humidity, I water daily but do not feed daily. Got the Spider Farmer wicking system set up with a reservoir. Up until now I’ve been using purchased pure water since it came with a better starting pH than my tap. After running the numbers, the cost of hauling jugs didn’t make sense long term. I ended up grabbing an RV water inline filter for the garden hose, which strips out most of the chlorine and other contaminants I was worried about. Goal was mostly a stable water source because the girls are getting thirsty; I still prefer hand-watering to wet and activate the top dress. Access is only from one side of the 5×5, so as they bulk up I’m learning the back two are a chore to reach. The wicking pads help keep things even between rounds, but I’m still going in by hand to finish the job. Did a defoliation pass; airflow and light paths improved, but I may need to push it a bit further because I don’t want a lot of larf. Crazy how much plant material I pulled off but they seem fine. Light feels like the current yield limiter. The SF4000 is solid but a touch undersized for full 5×5 penetration, the lower canopy isn’t getting what I want. I’m eyeing a higher-wattage bar style light for better edge uniformity and deeper PAR at canopy. I’ve been testing edge light saturation with the SpiderF PPFD sensor at canopy height. Center readings are strong but the corners and long edges are clearly lacking. Smaller tent or smaller plants another option maybe. Im at 100% on my light and will be for the rest of the grow just raising it to keep distance. Plants look happy overall. The Durban Cookies is standing out, taller and more vigorous than the 10th Planets especially for being a week younger than the rest. I am guessing it will be harvested first just by stretch speed alone. The 10th Planets R1s all have a pretty even canopy going but showing stretch. Wicking system + hand-water combo is keeping the media right where I want it, and the top dress from last week is kicking in. Reminding everyone this is my first grow. Hoping for a pound dry, but I won’t be greedy. Keeping my expectations realistic! Thanks for following along.

Pheno 1 has a more bushy appearance and Pheno 2 is lighter in color and more bud swelling at the tops. Nitrogen is continued to be reduced as its late flower. Keeping up the feeding ppm this week as we are getting to the end. May be pushing them a little more than I should but finding out how they react for next run. Could have backed off and stayed with 100, 300, 600, 900 PAR levels at the different stages but I have trying to go a little higher in the late stages and going over 1,000 PAR. Little more detail….. La respuesta al entrenamiento ha sido positiva en general, aunque una rama lateral se perdió tras una torsión excesiva durante el LST. Aun así, la planta mantiene un vigor sobresaliente y redistribuye rápidamente la energía hacia el resto de puntas activas. El sistema radicular sigue expandiéndose y el consumo de agua aumenta de forma constante, acompañado de una demanda nutricional cada vez mayor. Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. A little late on the update I was out of town for the weekend and couldn't get to it before I left. They're Growing amazing and wow did i come back ti a jungle. They'll definitely be getting a defoliation and lollipop this week as it's needed. All in all Happy Growing

This girl is still doing her veg thing but I'm sure she'll be flowering by next weekend. She's looking good and filling out like the other girls. It'll be interesting to see how much she stretches. She has a very lovely smell right now, lots of floral notes.

Hifi 4G seems to be a bit sensitive to the current and previous feeding levels. Had multiple leaves exhibit nutrient burn. Otherwise all seem to be happy. Hifi 4G, NL/Skunk and Blueberry continue to lead the pack on Bud development. God I hope I don't screw this up!
