Looks awesome in her 4th week since we changed the light cycle to 12-12 she's developing a big fat main cola which I think it's gonna be reeal fat in a couple of weeks, the smell of this strain it's not very strong yet however she has a really nice piney smell, let's see how this jack orange keeps developing her buds, I hope she gets to produce a lot of strong terps, not very strong smell at the moment. Day 24 they did show their sex this week and the initial stretch has just started. I have only top dressed the plants with 5 g of Greenhouse biofeed and gave them PhD water . The Cheesy Auto is a week or so behind.

Started the first top dressing of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom at a 50/50 ratio of 1tbsp/gal each.

White Runtz Day 79# The plant is progressing well, the last feeding I repeated the dose of tnt because it didn't show any real signs of preflowering, but now it is slowly entering preflowering and the next feeding gets bloom and boost. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉ 11/17- I skipped watering as her pot still had some weight to it and she was 'praying' hard showing no signs of being thirsty. 11/19- Yesterday the Zkittlez Auto still looked perky so I decided to wait another day to water/feed her. I did decide since she's in such a small pot to go ahead and top her today. Her fifth leaf set was just emerging so that is what I removed. Now, she'll not grow quite as tall and will train into a beautiful looking lady!😍👍 Today her leaves were just starting to show signs of drooping and her pot was light so I went ahead and watered/fed her with 0.25g of well water with a base ppm of 100 that I allowed the excess to drain to waste. To the well water I added the following Dutch Pro nutrients: Grow 'A' & 'B' @ 10ml/g, Multi Total @ 7.6 ml/g, Take Root @ 3.8 ml/g, Silica Von Liebig’s Special @ 1.2 ml/g along with Earth Juice's Oily Can @ 5 ml/g to end up with a total 800ppm nutrient solution. After adding the nutrients and checking the EC, I ph'd the solution to 6.1 @ 74℉. 11/21- I skipped watering today as she was still pretty moist (the plastic 'popcorn bucket' doesn't breath like a fabric pot) and I don't want her roots to get too wet so I'll wait until tomorrow and check her again. The Zkittlez Auto reacted really well to her topping and has new shoots emerging from the site . All popped tails after 48 hours in water and then after approx 24 hours outside in solo cups they all started to break soil.

Ten days since defoliating, now it needs doing again! I'll do it ASAP but not sure when. I'm feeding full strength with 500ml run off. 1200ppm 6.0PH

Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Noted that the white dandruff coming out the runoff was indeed spring tails. looks like they have made a home in my medium and I don't care. must be eating all the dead shit. Still ph'ing my water up to combat the acidic whatever in the pots. maybe this is from the spring tails or bacteria in there. good thing is they eat mold and other nastiness in the soil. I do think I messed up quite a bit on this grow, I am hoping the next one will be better. First time using liquid feed vs dry soil amendments. This emerald triangle seeds plant is dong well it seems to loose its pistils asap and then just gets bulky, I did check for seeds and saw nothing or any nanners as my first guess was maybe its getting pollinated. growing progress. I keep getting different smells off of it depending on the day and the last time I watered. Will know its true profile when I can chop and cure. Guessing this will be about 2-4 weeks out.
