Hi Gromies, on day 8 I transplanted the seedlings into their final 15 ltr homes & set up the automated watering system, I also started them on low dose nutrients. They are under 200watts of light, which may seem a little to much, however they are sharing the veg tent with a couple of Auto's, & that's why the wattage is that high otherwise I would start them on less & build it up gradually. It doesn't seem to be affecting them, actually the Tropicana cookies seem to really like it. All is going well. Thanks for checking out my diary & please give me a like & comment, so I can progress from apprentice & I will also find time to visit your diaries as well. Thanks & love to all my fellow Gromies

Right so basically, a week ago today marked a month for these ladies and because I had a broken phone it was very hard to keep up to date with the journal but hopefully now I can keep on top of this grow for you guys. It's been 35 days since germination for the Rhino Ryder and Afghan Kush. I'm using soil from the back garden and now that there is a bit of foliage, with the watering etc. The humidity has risen to a level I'm not happy with to which I'm going to invest in a portable dehumidifier to bring down the moisture in the air. I had to defoliate as it was getting really bushy and the fan was struggling to get air through the fan leaves. I cannot believe the RR, started off as the most finicky plant from germination and now it's the tallest f***er of the 4. She has shot up! I looked at the yellow tips on the leaves and apparently it's a lack of Iron. I read that Iron deficiency can be left to work itself out typically if it's not severe. Usually after a few days after the leaves are left to expand the yellow disappears and they turn a nice fresh green colour. The smell in here is fantastic! Until next time! ;) Happy growing and much love from the Shire!

Cheese XXL is the third commercially available edition released by Original Sensible using and developing these Afghan and Skunk genetics. The first release of these genetics was their Skunk Afghani. The second improved version was Stinkin' Bishop, which had an enhanced and more potent THC content and was more intense in terms of smell. The third and improved release on a similar theme is this Cheese XXL, which has a similar THC content but an enhanced heavier yield. The smoke is incredible, with an outstanding flavor of pungent skunk and spicy, extra strong mature cheese created by the dominant terpene myrcene with its earthy solid scent accompanied by caryophyllene and pinene, which combine to create a peppery acrid cheesy odor. THC levels are exceptionally high in this Cheese strain, and the effect is well-balanced, developing mental and body relaxation with a remarkable alleviation of stress and depression. The intense solid aroma starts early in the flowering period; if you're growing Cheese XXL indoors, you'll need plenty of ventilation to disperse these babies' stinky "road kill" aroma! Cheese XXL is a cheese strain suited to indoor setups and thrives outdoors well. These feminized marijuana seeds are incredibly resistant to mold and disease and produce a substantial harvest that professional and amateur growers can quickly achieve. These Cheese weed seeds are outstanding. Break open the buds ready for use, and you'll see why the stench will make your eyes water! Cheese XXL from Original Sensible Seeds is a great choice to break into the commercial market of growing cannabis, so if you're looking to buy something special with extreme yield, potency, and flavor, Cheese XXL cannabis seeds are simply the best choice.

Water week but something crazy happened and I'm a little confused. I brought fem seeds but it looks like they wanted to flower on they own. If anyone could take a close look and tell me what you think. So I put them in the flower tent. So it's like it didn't have a full three weeks of veg.. Also what should I be feeding a seed to flower? Just bloom from this point on? Please help and thanks

👉👽11/17/19 - After two days of heavy defoliation, there were signs of a little stress. Mostly leaf dropping. Not much but, different than before. Gave a feeding of 2 cups of each solution. Solution #1 A+B Silica Blast Solution # 2 Terp Candy Bud Sweet Sens Cal Overdrive 11/19/2019 - I noticed a couple more white fly's tonight. I have used my UV/Ozone bulb tonight for 30 min two times. I also hung 2 more sticky pads. Lets see what happens. Had to hold my breath (because of the ozone) as I took the pics. 11/20/2019 - 2 cup feeding of each solution. Saw a couple flies but not as many. Going to run the UV/Ozone bulb again tonight. 11/22/2019 - 2 cup feeding of each solution. Flies seams to be dead. Ran the UV/Oz again for 30 min and this seems to bee a good time over several days to kill the little bugs. 11/24/2019 - Well, have one girl that got a little fucked up from the extreme defoliation and was a little dehydrated. She re bounded nicely after some tasty treats. I think she will be the one that just hangs on to harvest

FERMAKOR BARREL MIX – BASE IN USE (Testing on the Fantasy Feast girl we pulled out of another diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/274722-grow-journal-by-yan402 ) (FERMAKOR BASE SYSTEM KOH VERSION diary https://growdiaries.com/diaries/278391-grow-journal-by-yan402) (Urea & Micros on the way — first week running without them) 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 💧 30 L Barrel – Current Working Mix 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 Step 1 – Calcium Nitrate (Part A) 7 L warm water (~35–40 °C) → added 45 g Calcinit, stirred until fully clear. That’s the calcium + nitrogen backbone for the feed. Step 2 – FERMAKOR PK Base (Part B) 15 L water in the main barrel → added 30 ml FERMAKOR PK Concentrate, mixed well. This forms the main P + K part of the formula. Step 3 – Combine Solutions Slowly poured the Calcinit mix into the barrel while stirring — no reaction, still crystal clear. That confirms the mix is stable and precipitation-free. 🌿 Step 4 – FPJ / FFJ Batch Added 30 ml homemade FPJ (fish + veg batch) ≈ 1 ml/L. Color shifted to a light-amber tone — looks alive and active. 🍋 Step 5 – Citric Acid Balance Added 1 tsp citric acid after everything was blended to fine-tune pH and help chelate micros later on. 📦 Step 6 – Top Up & Check Filled to the 30 L mark with plain water → pH tested with drops, showing yellow-green — roughly 5.8 – 6.0 range. Nice clean look, stable smell, no residue. 🧠 Current Status First day feeding the Fantasy Feast girl with this base mix. Too early to tell how she’ll react, but so far everything looks clean and balanced. Ca + N from Calcinit and P + K from FERMAKOR should be plenty for a gentle start. Citric + FPJ round it off nicely. We’ll see how she takes it over the next few days before deciding if she even needs the urea and micros. 💧 Current Base Ingredients (Active Mix) Warm Water ≈ 22 L total Calcinit 45 g → N + Ca foundation FERMAKOR PK Base 30 ml → P + K support Citric Acid 1 tsp → Chelation + pH balance FPJ / Fish Emulsion 30 ml → Organic enzyme booster Result: clean amber mix, mild and balanced. I’ll let this version run for a week before adding anything. 🌱💦🌱💦🌱💦🌱💦🌱💦🌱 Day to day tasks & actions 🌿 🌱💦🌱💦🌱💦🌱💦🌱💦🌱 19.10.25 VW26 – Fed 3l of #1 → 2l runoff 20.10.25 VW26 – Fed 3l of #1 → 2l runoff 21.10.25 VW26 – Fed 3l of #1 → 1l runoff 22.10.25 VW26 -- Fed 2l of #1→ 0.5l runoff 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 💧 Nutrients in 30 L #1 (Veg Strength) 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 💧 Calcium Nitrate (Calcinit / Nitcal): 45 g = 1.50 g/L → ≈ 225 ppm N + 150 ppm Ca 🍶 PK Concentrate (FERMAKOR Base): 30 ml = 1.00 ml/L → balanced 1 : 1 P : K support 💧 Home-made FFJ / FPJ (Fish + Veg Batch): 30 ml = 1.00 ml/L 🍶 Citric Acid (Chelation & pH Balance): 1 tsp (max) = 0.33 tsp/L → add only after checking pH 💧 Target pH: ≈ 5.8 – 6.0 (drop test – yellow-green zone) 📦 TOTAL: ≈ 105 ml / 45 g inputs per 30 L (≈ 3.5 ml / g per L active mix) 🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶💧🍶 YouTube Link: https://youtube.com/@yan402-m8h?si=A7x4Zlr2kj-_ga31

Early week 6 update (i'll add more pictures and comments as needed): Unfortunately I hit some challenges! Light got way too close and stunted growth for a day. I noticed it on tips closest to the light only. Raised lamp to 22 inches. Indica bagseed (plant in the center front) got too stacked: stuff like leaves on top of each other with lots of moisture, no light/airflow penetration, etc. I did some basic LST, leaf tucking, net tucking, to open her up and go sideways more a bit at first. It helped a bit. Unfortunately aug 27, had to get more aggressive on this beast and remove 3 shade leaves on the right side. not happy about defoliating, but had to do it. Will see how she takes it and then look at left side on a later day. Growing the first time is educational and actually therapeutic in today's world for me. I've already learned so many lessons for the net time: don't need such a yuge pot, lamp brightness/distance, air circulation!!! Thank you to everyone that responds with positive encouragement/messaging, it really helps. Adding two more fans to help air circulation aug 28. hopefully it reduces the need to desecrate the plants! Meanwhile the plants in back (purple canyon) want to stretch their faces off, esp. the one in back left, so it is a balance. I only have so much vertical height :) aug 29, flipped to 12/12. plants are happy and i want to control the space for first grow. let's see how it goes. updated the humidity for the week to ~ 60. Ida etc has made it miserable, it should get better soon.

Day 64 - I've been patiently waiting for the time to come, and it's finally here! Changed the lights over to 12/12 to send the tent into flower. Current light settings R99 W99 B50 as suggested by California Lightworks. I did a full reservoir change - switching over to bloom nutes. I also added some Si28 and P31 Microbes to the reservoir to test out this new product that I was fortunate enough to receive samples of. I've seen the results of others with crazy booming root growth.... Let's see what happens! Day 65 - I swear, it's like she's been waiting for me to flip the light cycle. I kicked one plant out of the tent so now there's even more room for improved air circulation and light distribution. This plant is a serious beast! Day 67/ Day 3 of Flower - Last massive round of defoliation before I sit back and let her do her thang. ✌️
