11/17 Week 8 Man I will be glad when this grow is over, if making mistakes promotes learning well... Im a fricking PHD ... Ok progress on Maggie the yellow is limited to the very top as buds are building in particular those a couple inches from the top. Thinking another root drench is in order, cant hurt and letting her dry a bit as a prep. Looks like tomorrow Layla doing ok she exhibits far fewer problems but the same issue are present she is just a hell of plant along with the Runtz which she shares the tent. Thinking about the feeding tomorrow will decide what to do then. They have plenty of time to finish up, had some issues on germination on the grow following so looks like it may be delayed a week from the scheduled 2 weeks. Maggie may need it. 11/19 Have stumbled onto to something it seems. The further I move the lights out, they are now at twice the "ideal" placement of 14" at 28" and the yellowing is disappearing to a great extent. Problem with this of course is not enough light at bud sites not on the canopy which lets face it is most of your bud. It is absolutely something that makes the plants insanely susceptible to light burn. New one for me but maybe some of yall know so making a question of it. Pics at lights out only and I missed today so new pics later if I get back in time. Update : Defoliated and tightened training on all three to spread things out from the center and open up the light and air paths. Raising the lights is working just wish I knew why as lights are higher than crap with little room for more than a few more inches. Would drop the watts to 450 but need the heat to keep the grow room level as our temps here swing 40 degrees all the time. Something I learned with the help of a carbon filter. If things normalize will begin dropping lights to see what happens. 11/20 Setting the lights at 24" as I am not risking yield any further than that on Layla and the Runtz, Have the canopy as level as it can be with Brandy getting the least light being on a coco coir block (heh) for height, which she is responding well to since I opened up the plant and no longer worried over mold issues in that main bud. Have Layla on a milk crate to bring her into decent light as well as the Runtz. She is just a lovely thing building those white crystalline buds. Maggie has turned into a beast at least I know her root ball is huge from the growth above. Seriously defoliated her removing several small lower branches and leaves blocking light and air paths. Next feed will be continuing what seems to be working, Epsom salt and bloom nuets (no calmag with epsom salt) with a foliar feed after lights out which may well be with calmag. Foliar feeding today at lights out, one quart sprayer with 1ml CaliMagic and 0.5ml wetting agent un-PH warmed to 75 F before spraying (our tap water comes out at @50F so...), just trying to hit hard and effective * New Pics after foliar Update Folks its taken 8 weeks and a final piece of the puzzle provided by Grey_wolf resulted in a near full strength cal-mag foliar feeding and the last def bites the dust. See what happens from here but its the first time I have felt good about this grow since the bad time germing at week one. *big sigh of relief* Have a whole list of things I will never do again in soil more about that at harvest. Right now I need to work on why calcium is blocked at the roots but thats another day right now I just wanna look at em. 😁 11/22 Another foliar feed same as before just diluted 30% and all three got it today JIC Cannot find a pale leaf or top and hairs are standing up on the top buds for once and buds building nice on the lower ares the defs were cleared up first. Going to stop the foliars for a few days see what happens but will resume at first sign of need. Maggie has potential even after all this and we going to help her be all she can :D 11/22 Feeding day - Bio-Bloom 7ml - calmag 4ml - Recharge .5tsp / gal at 6.5PH to all three. No foliar today 11/23 The thickness of the hair growth on Layla is amazing! Will try and get pics at lights out of it if my crappy camera will catch it. This weeks been hectic! Iv had a lot of training to do and a fair amount of defoliation - all only done until my plant had no feed left. Iv signed up to a couple of patreon accounts : ‘Willymyco’ and ‘DGC - dude grows podcast’s. Another great podcast. However, over the past week there’s been a heatwave and I accidentally pulled the red on/off plastic valve from the res for a second , it’s all good and just went on insulated wires…so I just mopped it up. I changed it to a mars hydro ts-1000w, and then the ts-600. Glad the dimmer works though or temps will be insane! I am still thinking of putting in the fc-e3000 but if I do that I’m going to have to take out the stoppers from the ends and hacksaw some off. It’s only cheap aluminium and then I’m going to think about removing one of the light strips if I can. Then I’ll just keep it low. It’s still weird working with a plant they suggested, un-topped— this is the first time i have done this in my life - I have literally always - HST’d, using the early veg stage and making used of the time for it to heal.

I went on vacation the ladies went crazy. One of them—the left one—is stretching really hard. The other two are more small and bushy. So, let's see what's going on in the next few days. I'm looking forward to it, but I'm a little bit scared because of the height. But when I'm back next week, I can do some work on them to maximize the light on the ladies.

I start immediately apologizing for not respecting the week in updating the diary, but with work and looking after the plants I had no time. Now it is the end and I have collected everything. The experiments with ice water went really well and the pollen yield has increased again. The plant is spectacular and I am very proud of my work and what I have achieved. The buds are very compact and smell really exaggerated. This Cali I cleaned it all out of the excess leaves apart from the sugary little ones and left it in whole branches and hung it on a clothesline that I am leaving in a dark room with the values checked at least for the next week so that I can start a new cycle. But the smell is just too much!!!! Great FastBud and sure I'll be making more varieties soon. The monkey has now burrowed on my shoulder and the desire to try this delight is more and more.

Week 10 Day 1 11/25/2023 Walked in the door, dropped everything and rushed in to check on the ladies, it was past lights out so I couldn't check on the plants but checked on the pH. The PH was down to 5.19... noooooo..I adjusted it to 6.0 and crossed my fingers the plants looked good, will check on them in the morning. Week 10 Day 2 11/26/2023 Well She looked great and I think she is ready for Chop, Chop, so debating the 48 hours of darkness, or chopping today.. so going to get some breakfast and give it a think. Afternoon update: So I gave it a think and I decided to do a split harvest this run. I took the top half and left the bottom half to mature for another week. I did run out of hooks so I was forced to freeze dry some and will have that to try in 48 hours. The problem is that I will have to remember the weights that I get when I get the final harvest and all the numbers but since I am doing a split harvest anyways it will be three sets of numbers to track over the next few weeks. Week 10 Day 3 11/27/2023 Got my first little bit out of the freeze dryer and trimmed up: I got 26.1 grams of bud and 2grams of shake. Smoke is smooth will see what kind of high comes with it.. Week 10 Day 4 11/28/2023 I let them bottom half recover and get another week under their belt to color and get some trichomes on them. I will be cutting 12/2/2023 Week 10 Day 5 11/29/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Week 10 Day 6 11/30/2023 Ground Hogs day.. Recovery/ Trichome build of lower buds. Week 8 Flower

Divine indica is growing really well. She is definitely bulking up and getting frosty. She has a earthy smell coming from her. I am afraid to mess with her, she is growing so well. Don't fix what isn't broken is the saying I keep telling myself. She has had a minor nitrogen deficiency working it's way up from the bottom. I increase nitrogen a little, and added a lot more bloom nutrition. I am curious to see how much she bulks this week. There is nothing more to report. Day 33 from seed : It is evident that this strain is a smaller phenon than the others in the grow room this round. 2 of the. are a decent size but dont show the growth rate of the others at all. #1 is the biggest of these wimmin , She was happy to be spread out more and will benefit from the amount of light getting in to her original squat structure.. Her paling is getting way better now and the Mc is not being fed to her now. #2 is the little lady of this group and will be left to grow up with only a little help along the way. #3 is a similar size to #1 but very very pale still. she has been getting calmag and mc so has improved more and doesnt seem to have been stunted by it.

Plants loved their new home from last week.....the crown of one plant got broken off while I was deal with something else....so instead of trying to fix it or throw it out I decided to put it into a pot.....to my surprise 5 mins after doing that I realize it started to straighten up from the training of the tree it broke from....thinking it would be like that for a while until it pushes root.....woke up to find it fully straight and buds got fatter......hope it is a success would be first clone...#happy growing

11/15 - Day 43 - I've changed the light schedule on the timer from 20/4 to 18/6. I will be heading out of town for 10 days on December 25th and so I'll need to harvest and hang to dry by the 24th at the latest. I've read in a few forums that decreasing the lights on/lights off ratio can speed flower maturation on auto-flowers. The other growers also mentioned that the decrease in light also reduces yields, but on such a tight timeline I'd trade total yield for more fully ripened buds any day of the week. Would certainly be interested if anybody has experience/knowledge that contradicts what I've read. Plants stretched another 2 inches in the last 24 hours putting them 22 inches from the light. I still have room to raise my light another 2 inches, but if these girls stretch more than 6 more inches they'll be < 18 inches from the light which I'm assuming would cause light burn based on the research i've done on this 600W ViparSpectra reflector series. Here's hoping they don't stretch more than 6 inches from here. 11/17 Day 45 - Haircut day. Left a few fan leaves on the shorter/lower shoots, but took almost everything else. Tallest tops had stretched another 4 inches in the past 48 hours, and were 18 inches from the light. I raised the light the final 2 inches I had available, which places it back to 20 inches from the tallest bud sites. Hopefully the haircut I gave the plants slows down the stretch, but either way it looks like I'll have to do a lot of retraining before I head out of town tomorrow for 5 days. 11/18 Day 46 - Fed nutes. Cal mag + advanced nutrients (micro, grow, bloom), and MKP. 4 Litres of water per plant. A lot of runoff in the saucers, but I'm out of town for the next 5 days so I'm leaving it to be absorbed throughout the week.

This week I have seen very big growth out of all my plants it’s very exciting I’m gonna grow some autos next 🤙 for 3/20 national auto flower day. Do y’all think these will be done by 4/20 probably not and hats okay don’t ever rush anything :)

09 May 2021 Today starts the 15th week of my grow, and the 6th week of flower. Just over a month till the scheduled harvest, and today the nutrient amounts change according to my feeding chart. So today feeding went like this: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, FloraBloom 15ml. Today we aren’t using any of the FloraGro, and won’t be for the rest of the grow. I chilled the water again, but not as long this time and the temperature of the solution was 56.3 degrees F. I thought it odd that the website doesn’t allow for entries lower than 50 degrees in that block, but oh well. The initial pH was 5.89, and I added pH UP 2.5ml which adjusted the pH to 6.53. The runoff pH was 5.63. Lower than I want, but still within range for a healthy plant. Temperature in the tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was at 53%. The plant looks great, and is maturing quite nicely. 11 May 2021 Today was a busy day! My DarkStar Kush is doing very well! The smell is starting to get stronger and the buds are fattening up as well. I’ve noticed some mild nutrient burn on some of my leaf tips, but nothing terrible. I’ll keep an eye on it to make sure that they don’t get worse. I haven’t really made any adjustments to the nutrients lately with the exception of increasing the FloraBloom by 2.5ml’s, and stopped using the FloraGro in accordance with my feed chart. Feeding today went as follows: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom at 15ml. The initial pH was 5.85, so I added 3ml of pH UP to increase the pH to 6.52. The runoff pH was 5.65. I finally received my TDS meter today, so the TDS reading was 1070 ppm. My feed chart says that the ppm range in looking for is 1050-1400 ppm, so 1070 puts me in that range. I chilled the water again today, and it was 46 degrees F. The temperature in the grow tent was 81 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. So far so good, and I’m starting two new diaries today for some clones I was gifted by Buddabud, so check them out. 13 May 2021 Just when I thought I was on cruise control with my baby here, she throws me a slow curve. The question is; will I hit it, or miss it? The light nutrient burn that I noticed in my last entry on the 11th has gotten just a small tad worse, but nothing terrible. I believe it’s not from the feeding, but the build up of nutrients in the soil. I finally got my TDS monitor as I noted the other day, so I tested the ppm in the runoff and it was over 4000. Then, as I was shaking the excess water off the end, the end cap for the battery came off and the whole monitor plunged back into the water completely submerging for a moment before I could get a hand free to grab it. It’s been sitting in a bowl of rice since yesterday. I just hope it dries out and keeps working. I need to see what the TDS of the soil at this stage is supposed to be and then either keep going and damn the burn, or maybe feed with pH’ed plain water for a feeding or two and then see how it reacts. I’m still deciding, but will research first before making my decision. For today I kept to the feed chart. I gave the following: CALiMAGic 5ml, FloraMicro 7.5ml, and FloraBloom 15ml. The initial pH was 5.92, so I added 2.5ml of pH UP which raised the pH to 6.47. That is what I fed the plant. The TDS reading of the feed solution was 1036 ppm. Runoff pH was 5.63. Tent temperature was 79 degrees F, and humidity was 40%. I have just about 4 weeks left in this grow till the scheduled harvest. 15 May 2021 Today is the last day of the 6th week of flower, and I’m going to try and arrest my mild nutrient burn on my baby. I’ve decided to just give water and CALiMAGic today properly pH’ed to see if it does anything to improve the situation. I wanted to have a significant amount of runoff today so I fed 1.5 gallons of water with 7.5ml of CALiMAGic. The initial pH was 7.60, but adding the pH DOWN is much different than adding pH UP! I initially added just 0.5ml to the gallon of water which lowered the pH from 7.60 to 4.9. I was like, “DAMN!” 😳 so I had to pour it all out and start over again. I learned through research never to mix pH UP and DOWN in the same solution. If it’s wrong, you need to start over;!so I did. After 3 tries and lots of wasted CALiMAGic, I finally got it right by only adding 5 drops (gtts) of pH DOWN to get it to 6.64. The TDS meter dried out and still works, so the TDS going in was only 403ppm. Like I said, I wanted a lot of runoff to try and clear out some of the nutrient buildup in the soil. The runoff pH was 5.58, and runoff TDS was 3803 ppm. Daytime temp was high today at 86 degrees F, and humidity was 31%. She looks good. She smells good. I hope she stays good! A few weeks left till harvest!

Ganja Farmer AK 2.0 XL Day 47 from sprout Light viparspectra XS 2000 dialed in at 75% intensity watering every other day or every two days The bud structure is growing very differently with this strain. Flowering came a bit later but I did give LST early on which could have delayed flowering. See you all next week! happy growing!

Spider Mite infestation. I put the story in the pictures. Long story short, the infestation focused on the lower (ticker) branches of AK2 and this explains the undergrowth compared to her sisters. The trichomes are half-cloudy / milky and she will be ready for harvest within a maximum of 2 weeks. I defoliated her by removing nearly all leaves and put her aside in the grow room. Open to any other suggestions. I also confess that I neglected the plants and did not check the source of the white point. I also used some of the soils I used in other outdoor plants which I believe the source of the infestation. Seed Formations AK2, again produces seeds in lower branches. I did not pollinate this one and there is no other source that she is pollinated. I didn't see any Bananas, too. I am thinking it might be because of the stress from the Spider Mites. Open to any suggestions on that too. Other Two Girls I spotted some mites on them too, but it was not alarming. I defoliated the infested few leaves and they will be okay. Jack Herer needs two and White47 might need another 3 weeks and that is it. I think they all will be okay until then. I will keep a close eye on them. Sorry for not good news this week.

Hey what’s up fellas ✌️ Week 2 of flowering, I have trim the legs by cutting all the small shoots in the bottom that won’t reach the canopy. And removing some few big fans leaves that are covering some lower shoots. I gave them a lil bit of nutrients during this week, last time was about 13 days ago. Just to support the stretch. Keeping an eye on the plants is the best way to know when to feed them. Lights are at max level now, all the ladies should have plenty enough space to grow without reaching the cooking zone. The Mars-Hydro led is just a bit lower and closer as it produces less heat. ✅New Growers Tips✅ ✅Trim your plants legs, don’t waste energy on the bottom popcorn buds. ✅Your plants are stretching, they need Nitrogen, stick to your Grow/Veg. nutrients ✅Always pop more seeds than expected to grow, look at the shitty plants in the middle between the 2 scrog in the video, those plants were germinated same day than the ones in the scrog... Keep the best phenotypes and put the shitty ones at the trash.
