I (pre-moistened) worked in 2.5 gallons of de-chlorinated tap water, with my fingers into this high-porosity soilless growing medium. This variant is very dry, and seems to reject water, until moistened(3cu ft compressed, Agro a5-hp from local nursery). Even after the 2.5 gallons of water was worked in (with no runoff), there was still a dry patch at the bottom of the pot.. I figured it would start to absorb from the wet medium on top, over time. It is now Day 10, and the moistened medium never needed to be watered since day 1. The medium is almost dry enough to be watered (see final picture). Maybe one or two more days. I will poke/scratch the soil daily, to ensure that I wait long enough, to not over-water.

what can I say over 7 ft tall now which is impressive in this drought with only the pittance of water I've been giving them once a week. Just goes to show you that my water conservation techniques work. They are both starting to smell like a hint of chocolate and peanut butter. Can't wait to see how these ones smoke. They are also into full pre flower and should be in full flower by next weekend.

Day 56: Gave the girls another plain watering pH adjusted to 6.5 then added Mammoth P @ 67°F. Not fading as quickly as I'd thought they would. Chopped the Triple Cheese today and moved our Gelat.O.G. into the open spot in flower. Breeder specs show 50-56 day Bloom an I think last run she may have went too long. Plan to be in the garden 8/5 (Day 58) and hoping to see some more fading and swelling going on. The aromas on the tent are absolutely tantalizing. I will try to get a few more photos for ya'll. Day 58: Did some minor defoliation in the veg tent and took photos. I decided today I would upload unfiltered and unedited photos. Enjoy! I need to take a closer look to see what plants may have been pollenated and if there are any other nanners. I did have a timer fail (which has been replaced) at the end if week 1 of flower. Not sure if this could be the cause, if I let her go too long, or if it's just the genetics. I am hoping for minimal damage. I'd be interested in a Purple Queen x Chenobyl cross. Think the seeds would be prone to hermies or would ya'll toss the beans in the bin?

Giorno 37 La fase vegetativa è finita e tutte le piante hanno iniziato a mostrare i primi peletti. Stanno bene e non c'è molto da raccontare. Le 5 Crystal Candy sono tutte alte uguali ed è proprio un piacere coltivarle. La Sweet Cheese è rimasta piccola fino a qualche giorno fa e ora sta iniziando a crescere rapidamente. A settimana prossima 💪 🤞

Nach langer Zeit ist es endlich soweit, ich habe sie geerntet. Bei dieser Pflanze habe ich mich dafür entschieden sie gegen den natürlichen Lebenszyklus outdoor eher zum Blühen zu bringen. Ich pflanzte sie in einen Hanffasersack den ich mit Erde auffüllte. Diesen platzierte ich auf einer Schubkarre. Wo ich wohne wird es manchmal schon im Oktober sehr kalt, sodass die Wahrscheinlichkeit für eine sichere Ernte realtiv gering ist (at this point i hope the best for my other outdoor plants). Ich rechnete mir aus wann der perfekte Zeitpunkt zur Ernte ist um noch im Sommer das Resultat genießen zu können. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt fuhr ich die Schubkarre jeden morgen um 8 Uhr nach draußen und um 18 Uhr wieder nach drinnen um optimale 12 Stunden Lichtzufuhr zu gewährleisten. Während den letzten Wochen der Blüte sind ein paar männliche Blüten aufgetaucht wie auch bei meinem indoor grow. Für einige war der Zeitpunkt der Ernte vielleicht zu früh, aber ich finde es so sehr angenehm zu rauchen und auch der Effekt ist in diesem Stadium optimal für mich. Die einzige Methode die ich hier verwendete ist das Pruning. Es erspart dir einen Menge Zeit beim beschneiden der Blüten und lenkt die Kraft auf die verbleibenden Blüten, um diese zu stärken. Nachdem ich bei meinem letzten outdoor grow viel zeit beim trimming verbracht habe, habe ich mir eine Erntemaschine gekauft (look at the video). Mit dem Ergebnis der Maschine bin ich zufrieden, da ich es per Hand in der gleichen Zeit unmöglich in der Qualität geschafft hätte. Die Blüten wurden ungefähr 2 Wochen bei guter Durchlüftung getrocknet, um am Ende wurden es 255g. Für mich persöhnlich ist es ein sehr gutes Ergebnis. Die Blüten sind schön fest und klebrig mit einem sehr süßlichen Geruch. Ich habe versucht ein paar schöne Fotos zu machen und habe meine Kreativität spielen lassen (my wife also got a great idea, you can guess which idea was mine ;D) If you have any questions feel free to ask. 27.07.: Zu Beginn von Woche 6 habe ich mich dazu entschieden die G41 an dem Großteil der Triebe zu topen. Dadurch erhoffe ich mir einen buschigeren Wuchs mit mehr Trieben und mehr Zeit für die PBB in Größe aufzuholen. An den Schnittstellen, wo die Pflanze getopt wurde ist an einigen Stellen ein roter fast blutähnlicher Saft ausgetreten. Ich hab vorher noch nie gehört oder gesehen, dass das passieren kann und weiß auch nicht woher das kommt. Die PBB brauche ich nur kaum zu trainieren, da benötigt die G41 mehr Zuwendung. Da die Pflanzen größer und die Töpfe mit der Zeit immer trockener werden, verlängere ich die Gießzeit auf 5 min. 28.07.: Heute sind mir zum ersten Mal die Stempelhaare an der PBB aufgefallen. Sie ist also schon bereit für die Blüte. Ich denke, das liegt daran, dass die PBB eine fast flowering Sorte ist. Sie muss aber noch warten, bis sie ihren Platz vollständig ausgefüllt hat. 30.07.: Beide sind gut gewachsen. Die PBB konnte gut gegenüber der G41 an Höhe aufholen. Jetzt sind sie fast gleich groß. Ansonsten gibt es nicht viel zu machen oder bemerken. 01.08.: Zum Ende von Woche 6 habe ich das Scrog Netz installiert. Die kommende Woche werde ich die Triebe immer wieder unter das Netz stecken, damit niedrigere Triebe aufholen können und ein möglichst einheitlicher Wuchs entsteht. Bei der G41 gefällt mir die Anzahl der Triebe schon sehr gut, bei der PBB ist noch Luft nach oben. Ich befürchte allerdings, dass bei der PBB nicht mehr sonderlich viel passieren wird. Nächstes Update ist dann in Woche 7.
