Tuesday update Ok so the plants are on a 12/12 cycle now and have been for about a week but I’m not counting it at a flowering weed until I. See pre-flowers at least. I’m surprised they hadn’t really reached sexual maturity by the time I flipped but it’s all good. They are getting to a very respectable size now - more so than that, they all have a really decent amount of growth nodes and are growing outwards more than upwards because of how I have topped, defoliated and got rid of the crap lateral branches at the bottom that don’t do anything. I was actually really amazed at how compact and scraggly they were at the bottoms of the stems when I came back and checked them today. They look much more bushy and straggly than the autos I have grown. I would say there is more need to have lolipopped and topped and stuff than with autos. If you really want you can just leave autos to get on with it and they don’t go TOO bushy at the base where as these really needed a tidy up. I do see a couple of pistols now which is starting to stop my worries about their sexual maturity and time management. With photos are you supposed to veg until you see them pre-flower? Or do they only show pre-flowers once you flip?

Tuesday Ok so the plants are doing really well. One of the kalini Asia plants is in the only regular pot I’m using now. It’s a little larger than the AutoPot XL’s so therefore the plant is slightly bigger but spread out because I topped it a while ago and today I took all the bottom leaves as well as quite a few of the lower lateral branches that well small and weak. Hopefully this will encourage the energy to where it want it - The main growth tips! I think it was the other kalini Asia that is in the AutoPot XL that I ended up ‘super cropping’? Do correct me if I used the wrong term. The main growth stems were quite a lot higher than the large lateral branches so I squeezed the stem with my finger and flopped the main colas over then taped them and tied them to support them. The canopy is MUCH more even across all plants now. They look a bit bent over at the moment but I bet when I look tomorrow they are all facing the light again. Magic! They are def in the stretch phase now. They are growing like crazy. I’m really glad I did the nasty job of pulling each plant out and tying it down and cutting off the shit that won’t grow anything good. Oh I also gave them a watering from the top using lots of microbes (ecothrive biosys) and molasses dissolved into warm water. The res was basically empty and honestly the AutoPot XL’s don’t even look wet at all on top even though they are getting all the water they need. They don’t react negatively when I occasionally water goodies in from the top so it’s all good!!

D22 - Today was the start of the fourth week of veg, and it was time to transplant the girls into their final pots. I got the largest pots that I could find that still would fit in my small tent: 25-liter square pots. I prepared each pot with mycorrhiza before transplanting. I picked #2 and #3 to transplant since they are the most similar in structure, even though #1 and #2 are more similar in size. I adjusted the light to 300 PPFD at the canopy level. Finally, I gave each girl one liter of water @ pH 6.6. D24 -The girls love their new homes and have grown quite a bit in a couple of days. I've added a bunch of sensors to the pots to monitor the soil moisture better, one Flower Care sensor and one Blumat Digital in each pot. The Flower Care sensors aren't all that reliable in larger pots, so I temporarily added the Blumat sensors from my other tent to get a feel for how the FC sensors work in these pots and dial in the Blumat watering system. However, I haven't turned on the system yet, as the soil moisture remains relatively high after the transplant. D25 - It looks like the transplant was a success and that I avoided stunting either girl. They are looking more vigorous with each day. Yay! I'll give them one more day to chill and settle in before starting LST tomorrow. D26 - Started LST today. D27 - Tightened the LST wires and increased the light dimmer to around 400 PPFD at canopy level. D28 - The end of the fourth week of veg and all is well in the tent. I did a soil slurry test to check the pH since this is the first time using this soil blend. The test showed a pH of 7.0 so all good.

Day 64 and the start of WEEK 10 These green crack autos go on automatic gear and need very little maintenance. Checking Trichomes every couple of days and it seems they will be going further. Day 66 Still building up bud .... waiting for the right day to harvest these green babes Day 68 Took out 90% of their fan leaves in preparation for harvest. Some Amber trichomes visible so they are nearly there 😍

Hi all buddies! First crop from hydro nft growth. Growth went well, I had some management problems in changing nutrients from veg to bloom which delayed the harvest for a week or two. Sensi Seeds' Skunk # 1F is incredibly resistant to mold and insect attacks, very close internodes ensure low height and compact buds. Unfortunately I chose the mother phenotype wrong, I found the lowest as I wanted but I lost the fatness of the buds present in other phenotypes, but the game was worth the same and I am very proud of it! I collected after 94 days of flowering, the last 72h 20kg ice cubes in the tank and total darkness which the last 24h without irrigation. After cutting I hung the whole plants in the tent for 24 / 48h 19 ° C 55% HR. Two days of wet trim to 8 girls and I hung their colas in the tent to continue drying. With a girl i tried dry trim but i will avoid next time. After a week in the tent I cleaned the colas and removed all the sticks, I placed everything in airtight bags in the refrigerator for 5 days 12 ° C 65% HR (daily check). Now dark storage room at a temperature of 18 ° C 65% HR. At the last weighing a few days ago it was more than 500g, from now it does not lose any more weight. Popped a seed for SeedSupreme's Chocolope around the beginning of February. Typing this in April, the plant has grown to about 1 meter. Germinated in a paper towel in a bag, but i put the bag in my heated vacuum chamber (without the vacuum running) and set the temp at 89-90 degrees. Popped in like 2 days, named the mother plant Charmaigne, and have since cloned the plant and gotten a good 9-11 babies that I'm currently giving the ol' voir-dire and I'll choose which ones make the cut. Put the lil clones in starter soil while my Ed Rosenthal soil cools off from mixing. Also, this is about my 4th grow in this space. 1st one i needed to get back into a routine, second one got screwed up with my take on custom dirt, then salvaged. 3rd one, i learned about powdery mildew, and how to NOT get it. This being the 4th, i decided that i really wanted to complicate my life even further with a 13 week flowering cycle plant and no knowledge as to how to get this Chocolope dank af, so any and all critiques, questions, comments concerns and disbeliefs are welcome, as I can use all the help i can get here...

Just getting started on the right foot. Coco and bags sterilized and flushed thoroughly with 0.7EC at 6.0pH solution. Will transplant tomorrow once the coco drains down a bit. Plants look great and excited to push down the accelerator. 4/2 - transplanted into 3 gal and watered in. 4/4 - Reservoir cleaned, sanitized, and online. Switched to tap water (0.3EC) and nutes at 0.8EC for total of 1.1. Ph 5.9. New feed pump installed (no more getting electrocuted when I put my hand in the bucket. YAY!) and 5" watering rings installed. PPFD 550. 4/5 - really quite chuffed. PPFD to 600 and they are looking great. Moved Zoey up 2" to match canopy height. 4/6 - switched Silica Boost to foliar spray at rate of 40ml / gal in RO water, pH to 5.8
