Ferinky

Mouth watering flavour, clean smoke, and it only gets better ! Barley a week into the cure and I'm already craving more of this strain Updated True Wattage, and fixed square footage of tent harvest was easy, could of gotten more yeil but she flowered early from some LST, would let this girl grow naturally in the future Buds turned out nice and chunky lots of sugar leaves just packed with sticky trichs She pressed out alright, could try a again but .4 return on 3.5 grams of bud gives 14-15% return on the first press of this strain none the less this girl puts out some wicked flavors can't wait till shes fully cured in a month :)

So, eventful week. Prior to putting my seeds into my system, my light and rdwc system was left on as I was dialling in the growing environment before placing the seeds as a final home. My only issue was I had a light leak BEFORE putting the foil top covers on the clay pebbles. Long story short, I got algae which ended up turning to root rot. I spotted it very swiftly and did a res change adding beneficial bacteria to the system along with the base products of remo nutrients. A few days later new growth and recovery is taking place. Day 16- Fully back on track, new roots shooting out into the water and the growth rate has picked up as it should. Foliar feeding twice a day for a little boost until the root system establishes a bit more. Huge changes in just a day. Can't wait to see what a week's growth looks like. Really loving the sunset/sunrise feature on the trolmaster, something I got to experience watching recently! Watching by closely to make sure everything stays in track. Stay tuned for the next one 😉

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

This week my LSD-25 that I mainlined is having issues, I wasn’t too sure if it was heat stress cause tents temps have gone up to 83 the highest and hovers around high 70’s all week, or if it was a calcium issue, potassium, or nute burn. Either way they’re looking CRISPY lol. The other LSD-25 that was just LST, is actually doing quite well with none of those same problems. I flushed out the burnt plant with some regular PH’d water to see if it had any effect and then finished with some soluble gypsum. Other than that the last 2 plants are doing great and chugging along!

Another slow week. I increased light schedule to 13/11. I’m going to slowly lower the time of light until by the time harvest day comes it’ll have a longer dark period. I’m also going to stop feeding the bottle nutrients my soil is moist still so I gotta wait. I’m predicting a couple ounces this grow.

@FAST_BUDS, Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this new secret CBD plant from @FAST_BUDS, will turn out. .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. Update 2017-08-15. Both seeds have germinated and planted in small pots inside the humidity dome. I'm so glad it worked so well and now it's just hoping they'll start growing and become 2 big healthy girls :) ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... Update 2017-08-16. I have mixed my own soil today. Its 40% sieved peat harrow H2-H4 0-30 mm, 45% sieved peat harrow H4-H6 0-30 mm. 5% sand and 10% of compost soil. And i use 15% of perlite and mix it all together. .................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................... 2017-08-21 The 2 sisters are doing great, Nr2 is a bit after Nr1 . Some new pics. ............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ 2017-08-23. Transplanted from humidity dome and the small germinating pots to 15 liter autopots. ................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ 2017-08-27. The girls have settled in to there new home of the 15 liters autopot after a little transplant chock. Now the real week 1 starts for me and the girls. 4 new pics. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-29. New movie of the girls. Its no water for 3 days now so the roots develop more and match the plant above the soil. The temp controlled fan is awesome, its easy to set what temp you like to have in the room. Right now its 28 celcius. And humidity is 56%. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-29. Hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I just want to say that I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-30. Cleaned the room this morning, just vacuuming and cleaning with chlorine solution. Im testing the fan to control temp and humidity, it works great. Added some pics with measurements and a movie. Everything is looking great right now. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-08-31. New video of the girls. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-01. New pics and videos. Gave each of the girls with 2 ml Alg-A-Mic, 4ml Bio-Grow, 4ml Bio-Heaven and 10 ml Formulex mixed in 2 liters of water. I hope they like it :) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-02. New pics and the girls liked the water and nutrients yesterday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-03. Video of the girls this morning. New pics. Im trying to LST the girls. KL 23.00. Added new video. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-05. KL 08.00. Cleaned the room this morning, just vacuuming and cleaning with chlorine solution. KL 12.00. The girls got 2 liters of water each with nutes in it, added a video. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-06. KL 08.00. The girls woke up after their beauty sleep, the leaves are always a bit down after 6 h of darkness, but they will stretch now when the HPS lamp starts. Everything looks good and I keep trying to tuck the leaves so they get the maximum amount of light where needed. Added pics and video. KL 23.30. Did some LST and leaftucking. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-07. This is day 21 from sprouting. I have never tested PH in my grows, when growing organic in soil iv learned that it adapt PH by it self. But im curious by nature so i had to test. Kl 10.00 Tested PH in the soil, it was 6.9 and tested my tap water and it was 6.8. Added video/pics of the girls, its 10 H after defoliation, LST and leaftucking. I think its looking good. Kl 22.30. New pics ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2017-09-08 KL 08.00. Good morning, added new video. 2017-09-08. Kl 23.50. - Heavy defoliation to canopy twice this week, got rid of all large fan leaves to send energy to buds - Light defoliation every other day Plants are profiled nicely, many buds throughout now. Some of the hairs on the Lemon Ice buds are starting to turn orange. Adding the dehumidifier and extra 6" fan seems to have solved the humidity issue. Plants drank a lot of water this week, I will monitor more closely next week and add some water throughout to help keep pH balanced. The stem I folded over last week seems to have recovered fine and is now laying horizontal across trellis, accidental super cropping.

Day 64 she’s so heavy that I have to have her on hangers. She didn’t get watered yesterday so she is throwing a hissy fit but she’s already perked back up. I’m excited to have her get chopped down and get her jarred up.
