This week I focused on training — topped her multiple times to encourage a bushy structure. She responded well, showing strong growth and lots of new shoots. The stem is thickening nicely and side branches are stretching out, promising a good number of future bud sites. Very happy with how she’s shaping up so far

My girl is almost ready for flushing, darknees period and harvest. The flowers look fantastic, frusty and full of tricoms. After the flushing I'm gonna put her in an 2 day of darknes and then harvest. In the final 2 week's I turned on my uva light at 20% power and total of 6 wats. For the first two days, the light work for between 1-3 hours and after that for 6 hours a day.

Pictures are from Day 91. Top Gun 2 is coming to the finish line, the whole tent reeks and starting to see good amounts of amber, although the buds aren’t as solid as I was hoping for. I could harvest as soon as today. This grow has been another great experience of learning about these awesome plants. Day 28: Happy days folks. hope we are all well and sane still. This week has been a good week for node stacking and starting her frost making it seems. She is a great size to work with now and has responded well to the stripping out of the lower larf and leaf. The airflow is perfect below decks now and allows air to move through the whole canopy and also light to make it through. Her buds are showing her Gelato 41 genetics with their appearance and are identical to the white flame like pistils. She is giving a slight terpene of sweetness and a little diesel too. Her stripping out had my fingers feeling a nice tacky , oily feel to them so she is certainly starting to nurture the budlets. Their golfball appearance is swelling daily and seeing how lose they are to joining up already , holds hope for some long chunky colas. She is approx 3ft now and a good circumference to her too. It is a safe assumption to think she will go the full 11 weeks flowering based on her parentage. The cross of these two strains is so far producing a perfect sized plant for my room and has given me the confidence to dabble in this area in the future I think. Gorilla Zkittelz/Blue Gelato41 is a good X and I know from another seed popped by a friend that Gelato41/Hulkberry creates a 5ft cola'ed monster plant. ( pic in my photos) and I still have crosses of Gelato41 and Cookie Kush , Gelato41 and Phantom O.g , Gelato41 and Orange Sherbet to run !!. I am fortunate to have a lot of these new beans now but I also have some amazing sponsored genetics running and some exciting testers still to do ( 9 more fast flowering strains to put through the wringer and try to identify !.lol) . Well that's another week down and only 7 to go for her. !!!!!!! she has a lot of big stacking buds growing time left. WATCH THIS SPACE !!!!!. Be safe people.

August 18, Day 28. Had to flush on Friday due to nutrient lockout. There were purple stems which caught my attention to a possible nutrient deficiency. Coupled by the dark green older fan leaves and bright green of new growth, my Apera TDS meter confirmed nutrient lockout. Kaboom was flushed a total of 4 times Friday night, then foliar fed at 25% strength the next morning. She was given 1.1 liters of pHd water since the top inch was already dry despite flushing the night before. I am taking her thirst to mean she is recovering well. I plan on resuming the GH least aggressive feed schedule tomorrow and will begin feeding with every watering. Now that she's on the mend from the nutrient lockout I can tell she's thirstier than what she used to be, I'm taking that to mean she's hanging in there. Friends, growmies, cousins, comrades, colleagues and cultivars. Updates last week were minimal because this plant mama came down with COVID. Flushing a plant during COVID fever is no joke. Stay well and healthy everyone. August 19, Day 29. Fed at least aggressive strength today until 25% runoff. Included a new supplement to the nutrient line up, silica. Today is the first time I use it so I went easy and used the weakest dose. Plant has 5 main sites so far, yahoozie. To top a second time? No se todavia, deja lo pienso jajaja August 21, Day 31.Topped one more time, clipped the tallest point to give the others time to catch up. I know I will need to defoliate a tiny bit, soon, but I'm a bit scared to remove either too much or a mega vital leaf. I'll watch videos about it and aim for next week. I sprayed the top inch with pH'd water and will feed and water tomorrow morning. August 22, Day 32. Fed and watered, no recharge since I used it on Day 29. As I repositioned the kabob sticks, I noticed a couple of milestones - she is in the very beginning stages of forming pistils and she is beginning to smell. I plan on keeping her in veg for at least 2 more weeks, hopefully this isn't super ambitious for a plant named Kaboom lol 😂 August 24, Day 34. I checked on Kaboom and found that the top inch was totally dry so I fed and watered her. I used everything except recharge, but will use it at next feeding since I'm aiming for 10 days in between applications. I think Kaboom is looking fabulous

Snapped the main branch a little but its been healing ok. Besides that shes been getting bigger filling out her new pot. Also took the smaller lowest branch for my first clone attempt. Probably gonna experiment with a couple more cuttings maybe even an auto clone for laughs. Been raising the light an inch at a time as i noticed signs of light stress. All in all good week happy growing friends

Northern lights germinated and sprouted on first try. She did have a issue shedding the husk. I accidentally damaged her upon helping her remove it. She looks like she will make it though. Everything is looking good beside that issue. She is hanging out in my autoflower room till I have a better spot to grow her. Started a little training, cut down the older fan leaves and topped up. I’m adding a tiny bit of root stimulator cause changed the pot size last week so it will to promote a faster growth. Gotta keep this lady low cause the box is quite small. So excited 😆
