Topping recovery all sorted. Growing vigorously and bushing out nicely. Dressed with new worm casts this week, days hanging around 20 degrees c, with lots of showers. Spot still protected with no signs of visitors. We continue to wait for flowering!

5/26 Sat, 20 days ago I transplanted clones to 4” pots from rooting cells at 4.5” to 8”, today they range from 21”- 23.5” tall, 5/29 Tues trimmed lower branches, made some cuttings for next grow 6/1 transplant to 7 gal grow bags

It was a good week, with some good growth. The ladies have settled in and are a starting to reach up. I’ve been keeping the environment steady at about 78 degrees, and 60-62% humidity. It goes down to about 70 degrees at night. I’ve been watering sparingly still, about 1 cup of water every third day. Near the end of the week they were getting 2 cups and have lasted more than two days without showing they are needing again. I decreased the light schedule to 18 hours, and they seem to be benefiting from the dark cycle, or less DLI. LST will start next week! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. Loving how these girls are growing Fastbuds mystery #1 finally catching up, and may possibly in the end being a better producer than the RQS plant, which is surprising to me because of how badly I stunted this plant. Got me curious how good this plant could’ve been

Thats the first 2 weeks done!

I let the girls spend the whole week getting used to their new home and recover from their transplant shock before I began Low Stress Training (LST). Everything looks great in my opinion. A little on the smaller side for being so far along but I think they will burst in growth in the coming weeks. Don't forget that they will double in size during the initial flowering period. I plucked a few leaves off and tied down 2-4 branches on each plant and will continue to tie down more throughout this week. I want to keep a nice even canopy from here on out. Depending on how fast these ladies grow, I think I will be able to start super cropping soon. I'd like to get my SCROG net up so that I can start weaving branches as they continue to stretch. This is the key to getting a good yield when working with a small area such as a 5x5 tent. I expect anywhere from 28-36oz which is around 2lbs. Of course good lighting, nutrients, and good genes go a long way but sometimes you just need that extra boost to get you there and these techniques are what has worked for me (LST, SCROG, Super Cropping). The only thing I think I am lacking is Co2. I have read that I could increase my yield by up to 40%. That's incredible! I'm going to have to do some research on pricing and see what I can work out. A great replacement strain from Barney's. If you can't find the old exodus UK cheese which is almost impossible these days, this variant gives you everything you want. Welcome to week 8 of flower!! Things are really starting to get heavy and loaded in frost! I will be checking the trichomes this week to see what plants are nearing the end and which ones will still need a bit more time to mature and finish. To say the least Im very excited to get to the finish line with these ladies! Day#54F Checked the trichomes looking like 6 of the 8 plants will be starting their flush while Macmelonz and Banana Smoothie #1 will continue to feed for a bit longer before starting to flush. Day#55F Really digging trichome production on Creamy Cereal #2 , she's got a wild Lucky Charms aroma to her that's quite unique.

Week 7 Flower- Day 51 flw / Day 107 of cycle Lemon cherry pie what can I say about you.. she is super frosty, that we can’t deny. But are fattening up and overall she is a beautiful plant(could be a little bigger and fatter 😅) I am still trying to understand her smell and tasty.. by the name I would say citrus but is not that much. I fed her with fertilizers for the last time and I am going to switch to only water for yhe next 2 weeks. Let’s go

It’s a week full of growth, observations, and some lessons to share. ⸻ 🌿 Current Status • Both plants are looking healthy, vigorous, and branching strong. • White hairs (pistils) continue to thicken and spread — the first signs of real bud-building. • Leaves show some spots, likely a touch of CalMag deficiency. This is not uncommon at this stage, as the plants’ demands for calcium and magnesium rise sharply during heavy metabolic activity. To support them, I’ve kept the full nutrient recipe steady this week and reintroduced Aptus All-in-One Liquid to strengthen the nutritional foundation and bounce them back quickly. ⸻ 💧 Nutrient Recipe (Week 5) • Aptus Regulator – cell wall support & stress resistance • Aptus CalMag Boost – to address spotted leaves and support photosynthesis • Aptus All-in-One Liquid – reintroduced this week to balance the base nutrition and help recovery from early deficiency signs • Plagron Power Buds, Sugar Royal & Green Sensation – pushing bud development, resin, and flavor complexity ⚠️ Note on feeding adjustments: This week we removed Top Booster from the mix. While it’s a great stimulator during certain flower stages, running it alongside Power Buds, Sugar Royal, and Green Sensation risks overlapping too much PK. Too much of a good thing can cause stress, salt build-up, or nutrient lockouts. By keeping the recipe focused and balanced, the Lava Cakes can thrive without overload. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment • Temperatures: Lower this week (relief!) thanks to cooling efforts. • Humidity: Still running a little high, sometimes hovering beyond the ideal. • Airflow: Two 6-inch exhausts + intake, all carbon filtered. This, along with fans inside, should keep the air moving and avoid stagnant moisture pockets. ⚠️ Note: Higher humidity at this stage can invite mold or mildew risks, but with strong airflow and constant air renewal, we’re reducing the chances. The Lava Cakes showed us some leaf spots, and in return, we adjusted by reintroducing All-in-One Liquid while simplifying the booster recipe. Removing Top Booster avoids nutrient overlap and keeps the focus on a clean, balanced mix. This isn’t just about correcting deficiencies — it’s about preparing them for the heavier bloom demands to come. With lower temperatures, steady airflow, and a carefully tuned recipe, the girls are thriving. Every day brings more white hairs, more structure, and more anticipation for what’s ahead. ⸻ 🔬 Science Spotlight: Nutrient Antagonism One of the biggest hidden challenges in mid-flower is nutrient antagonism — when too much of one element blocks the uptake of another. • Excess phosphorus (P) and potassium (K) (often from bloom boosters) can interfere with calcium (Ca) and magnesium (Mg) absorption. This can show up as leaf spotting, rust marks, or weakened stems even if those nutrients are technically present in the soil. • By removing Top Booster this week, we reduced the PK load and allowed CalMag supplementation to actually reach the plant without being locked out. • Balance always beats excess. This is the 6th week of growth. The plants were already in the flowering process. Maintaining the LST was very difficult; I find it really hard to do it without topping, and it's my first time doing it. The summer here is horrible, and it's really hard to manage the heat inside the grow tent. It was common to have external temperatures over 30°C, so you can imagine how much more it was inside the tent. On those days, I turned everything off, since my light adds a lot of heat, and I was avoiding going over 32°C. Unfortunately, this is the last week I took pictures of the plants. I became a bit disappointed later on because they started looking really bad for some reason I don't know. I think the heat waves really impacted them.

Yo, I aim to impress with this grow! I’ll be giving it my all. The nutes I’ll be using will be organic Gaia green 4-4-4, they’re guano 0-9-0, and can’t forget the bloom 2-8-4. This girl will be a beast. These seeds were given to me from @Premium_Cultivars for the competition they are running here on GrowDiaries!
