Day 71: The left plant is starting to show some of the same problems I see on the right plant so I am going to flush her too tomorrow. I think that it is mostly due to the light stress from before, it is just showing now, but to be safe she gets a flush too @5.8 ph Day 73: Hmmmm... It is difficult to see if the problem persists, or its just the affected leaves that will not recover. Should I remove these "sick" leaves? - They seem to be happy abut the new light intensity as some of the problems is defiantly improving like the leaves are praying, and the sides of the leaves does not seem to bend as much. I have been very gentle with the feeding, after having done 3 flushes (15L at 5.8 ph) and have updated my feed schema above Day 75: I am sure that I had some light-stress, and it is over now, but I don't think I see a full recovery.... I think I see the leaves to get more yellow but it might just be as mentioned before, that the sick leaves won't recover but I do not know what to do from here. Should I just leave them, or do you growmies have any suggestions? The grow has, and is, very slow in my opinion but I still see progress UPDATE: I decided to doe some heavily defoliation. It might have been too much for the left one. I haven't done much defoliation, but they where so bushy, that I thought it was necessary to get light on all my buds. Also I wanted to get rid of those "sick" leaves. I think I am on the right track, and the symptoms I see are old problems now

After locking them out for close to a week , I managed to get them going again. Just waiting for some Amber trichomes to show up now.

Been a working week! Defoliated twice! First I did lower fan leaves, waited a few days and snipped the Rest to allow light to reach all news growth! Dynomyco is a banger it’s got these girls so sturdy! Just look at the stems and how much growth I have already and this is just day 28 in veg! A lot more to come! I can’t wait! Still continuing with foliar sprays a few times a day!

The second plant did not respond nearly as well to some drought stress tests. We use it for comparison. Consider this an experiment in stunted growth due to damage in early veg.

well, it's exactly 12 weeks :) and my house is full of lemon aroma :) the girl endured really difficult growth, but she coped with everything perfectly :) who followed the growth, you saw that she grew on the balcony for 10 weeks, and she spent the last 2 in the grow tent :) 500 gr wet weight !!!!:) , before putting it in the ground I expected less than 10 g dry yield :D then this growth turned out super well, if it wasn't for my vacation I would have let it grow for about 2 weeks I think. but everything is still very good, I'll go home, fix it and do a smoke review :).

Since this diary started in the middle of Week 4 of flower, many of the details about how we got to that point have remained a mystery. In previous updates I mentioned how my last attempt at growing this cut resulted in a plant that outgrew my space. I had a long veg time and used a 5 gallon pot. That information allowed me to exercise caution on this grow because I knew how big this plant can get when given an opportunity. With that in mind, I only gave her 9 days after transplant from the aerocloner before moving her to the flower tent. My pervious experience dictated that this plant exhibits significant lateral branching. I top most of my plants to encourage this kind of growth, but due to the short veg time and for the sake of experimentation, I decided to not top her this time. You can see that this has resulted in a large main stem cola, but also (thanks to knowing her growth pattern) several rather large secondary colas as well. As an aside, some may look at this and wonder "yeah, but what about the yield?" I have never weighed a harvest. I grow for myself only, therefore yield is not something I concern myself with. I just don't care. I fill one quart mason jar and the rest is given away or turned into hash. My scheduling is such that I harvest approximately one plant a month; therefore I have enough smoke to last a VERY long time. While this plant will probably go 12+ weeks, with only 9 days of veg, it’s still comparable to a 10 week variety that would require a longer veg time to produce a similar yield. And, frankly, I have close to a dozen cultivars in my ‘consumable’ collection and this is the only one I reach for prior to 9 pm. She has a very clear and motivational high. Not overpowering, but I never test her ceiling, so she could get one blasted if necessary. This would also be a great plant for someone having trouble eating, because my appetite is essentially limitless when I’m smoking this. Perhaps it’s no coincidence that I have put on a few lbs since I’ve had her in my collection?

Esta semana parece que as plantas estão a desenvolver muito bem, estavam sob 20 horas de luz, reduzi horário para 18/6, e adicionei na semana passada bactérias que se chamam bactohemp e deu um óptimo resultado na vegetação de todas as plantas principalmente a shiskaberry, fiz LST para obter mais produção e estão a crescer galhos por todo lado nunca tinha visto uma planta assim 💪💪💪 espero que tudo dê certo estava com medo de ser macho porque estão a crescer galhos e mais galhos 😅 mas já apareceu uma pré-flor, a runtz muffin tb fiz LST tb está muito bonita a desenvolver muito bem, a BlueBerry OG também está uma planta muito forte, vou esperar mais uma semana para ver o desenvolvimento.. para depois pôr estas meninas a florir, obrigado amigos 💪💪🌳🌱🍀✌️

3rd week of 12/12, all is well. The flowers have already a lot of trichromes. I add the Athena KP on the 23rd day of 12/12, in two days. I made a defoliation, it breathes, it grows... With the pythium I had growing, it slowed my stretch, with so much growth, it should have been more important. See you on the 28th day of 12/12

The harvest of the first medusa F1 hybrid at day 93 after germination. The trichomes were starting to turn amber. I probably could have let her ripen for a bit longer. I am amazed how fat she has gotten, the weight of the flower is too heavy for the branches. Way to go RQS for breeding such a fast growing autoflower. She is already in the drying tent for 5 days now at a temperature of 19 °C with a humidity of around 55-60%. I want a nice and slow drying process to preserve the terpenes and cannabinoïds. This will take about 2 weeks in my opinion, when the branches start to give a clean snapping sound when bending. I will make a harvest blog once the flowers are dried and I have weighed the buds for the yield. This lady only received some LST and a little defoliation throughout the entire grow. I also dont flush the plant at the end since this myth was debunked by a scientific article. A flush is only needed if you overfed the plant. Dr bruce bugbee also confirmed this. The dry tent smells of hay/grass, which is logical because the plant still has a lot of chlorophyll inside. Untill the harvest blog! Check my other Medusa F1's for the progress of the experiment. In Week 6 I’m continuing to see a lot of growth so I decided to add a pk boost to see how it would work. Started off really low at 1ml/gal and now I’m at 2.5ml and no sign of burning and seeing a lot of praying. Going to continue slowly raising until about 5ml or ~900ppm. Other than just watering every other day and light defoliation of the lower third and sites that aren’t getting light, this week has been smooth. White hairs are really starting to show up. I’m really hoping these girls bulk up. Until next week happy growing!

14.10.2022 56 days from seedling. This beauty hasn't stretched anymore but she looks amazing. Slight increase in flowering nutes. She is consuming more amount of water in irrigation. The plant is a little dark green so I took a few more days to fertilize. The buds are gaining weight at a good pace, I can already see the size of some trichomes by eye. Good weekend to everyone. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

New Aeroponics "root rain" mist cloner! Holds 2 gallons of water. I added 8 Tsp of CloneX clone/seedling nutrient. PH was 6.0-6.5ish, good enough! These clones inside got zapped pretty hard one day, because I forgot to plug in the water pump one time after playing with it hehehe... Some didn't make it, but most survived! every other plant was watered with just de-chlorinated tap water, for re-hydration. #4 has been selected as the winning pheno! The mother plant had her home upgraded to a 2gal pot. The root ball was not so bound, due to her receiving a root-prune not too long ago, she was re-potted back into a solo cup. I pruned the bottom of the root mass off with a light pinch, and potted her into her new 2gallon home!

Lost power for 30 hours due to the storm and Fires last week but managed to make it through ok. Been flushing them heavy and noticing some beautiful purple coming in. Just took them down and hung to dry. Can't wait to see how close I get to my goal!

Alright guys today is day 18 and she is off to an amazing start.. she got her first feeding yesterday with very little of silica , cal mag and Maxibloom.. I gave her her first soaking yesterday when I topped her and removed the lower branches up to the 3 finger leaf.. i'm hoping for big things with this grow, and i'm very excited to use Plagron mid flower.. thanks to Zamnesia Seeds and Plagron for putting this contest together, it is much appreciated by and i'm sure many others.. Just wanted everyone to know that i'm using .2 tsp of maxibloom with the 2ml of silica and 2 ml of cal mag as of this week, but for some reason, grow diaries doesn't recognize general hydroponics as a company or any of their products.The maxi bloom and silica I use are both general hydroponics and when I add them as custom, everything is good until I go to save and then it comes up not showing the maxibloom SMH .. Just wanted to throw this in here, so everyone knows exactly what this girl is getting.. These three nutrients is all.She will be getting up until about the fourth week of flower.. Until then, I will increase the dose on everything slightly every feeding until we reach that fourth week of flower, and then out comes the Plagron which I hope works out great for the plant
