This is one incredibly frosty auto! In fact it’s probably the frostiest auto I’ve ever grown. Her smell reminds me of sweet tropical fruit, just like you would expect from a Runtz strain. She’s almost done! I plan to harvest in the next week.

25/07/25: Another week in the books, and the ladies are progressing—slowly but surely. Bud development is moving along, though the cool and cloudy German "summer" isn't exactly speeding things up. Fingers crossed for a bit more sunshine in august to help ripen those buds and add some extra weight before harvest!🤞🏼☀️ Other than that, not much to report this week—no major changes or issues. Pests The amount of sciridae increased a lot (as expected, because the population should be about to collapse), but I also noticed that they were being accompanied by exactly 1 premature spider mite (drop in RH). Because my environment seemed to fall out of an equilibrium, I thought about using fine quartz sand (0.1 - 0.4 mm) and nematodes to hinder the adult Sciaridae from laying eggs and also actively hunt for their larvae, while being able to get back on watering regularly... In the end I actually ordered those - but decided not to use them because the process of drying out the substrate was already in its final stage [foreshadowing: bad idea]. Plants Also, the variegated plant got cellular damage... most likely because my temp. and RH varied too much (VPD and temp. spikes were too extreme and rapid). [Variegated plants in general are less resilient and need a more stable environment]. Setup Until now, I didn't use any fan so that I could keep the moisture and temperature up, but from now on, I will start to activate an exhaust fan at about 0,5 -1 air exchanges per minute. This should homogenize the environment but also decrease the temp. by 1-2 K, and the RH yet again by another 10%. It also allows the plants to transpirate more efficiently, and with that, normalize the VPD. Living Soil In general, when the pests are in control, I will yet again focus on the 'right' environment rather than battling those pests. With this approach, I can keep the moisture content in the tent the way I want to without worrying about anything else.

Saturday, 19/02/2022 All plants looking OK. I realised I had no clear plan as to what I would do with the plants I LST'd so I removed the ties today. I really prefer the symmetry of mainlining so that is what I will be going for, specifically, quadlining. Plants showed no ill effects to Cytokin treatment (drench and foliar at same rate) and seemed to like it. Fed on 15/02/2022 with 10ml/gallon CAB and 5 ml/gallon Real Growers Recharge (RGR) on 17/02/2022. No ill effects to RGR and plants seemed to like it. Ph'd with 1.5 ml/gallon Evergrow Ph Down Sulphur on the 17th, not sure about the 15th, I may have used rainwater. Top of soil and actual soil at depth was moist today so I did not feed but at this moment, 2:34 PM, there has been significant rainfall for the past hour. Really need to get a rain gauge. Apart from the pots being on bare soil (need to get them off bare ground with large saucers, blocks, stepstones or something similar). I really don't mind the rain because I think the "natural" water will be good for the beneficials introduced by the Recarge and subsequently the plants. As I move the plants what seem to be whiteflies immediately flit about. Really, really need to get going on IPM!😣 5:13 PM, Saturday, 19/02/2022 Raised pots off ground with plant saucers. Ich habe die Stränge hinten noch mehr runter gebunden. Da die Pflanze etwas verkümmertes Budwachstum zeigt. Ausserdem bis jetzt die einzige Pflanze mit lila Stamm, vermutlich wegen Lichtintensität. Die restlichen entwickeln sich dann doch recht gut.

The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)

Week 11 - Sixth Week of Flower The Donutz tent has officially entered the “sit back, water, and enjoy” phase. With all the hard work done, it’s now a matter of letting the plants do their thing and watching the magic unfold. Key Updates: Steady Growth: The buds are stacking up nicely, with the purple phenos becoming even more vibrant and the other plants continuing to bulk up. Even the thinner phenos are starting to show signs of filling out as they settle deeper into the flowering phase. Stable Routine: Watering with reverse osmosis (RO) water remains consistent, and the tent environment is running smoothly with no changes needed. Observations: The trichomes are sparkling more each day, covering the buds and sugar leaves with a frosty layer. The aroma is intensifying, filling the space with a sweet, rich fragrance that’s impossible to ignore. The canopy looks uniform and healthy, a testament to the early defoliation and training work. Next Steps: Simply monitor the plants, ensuring they stay hydrated and happy. Enjoy the show as the buds continue to develop and the trichomes ripen. The Donutz are cruising toward the finish line, and the Florida Gang vibes are at an all-time high. It’s all about patience and appreciation now — the hard work is paying off!
