I thanked them again, spend some time with them, and under the sound of Amazonian shaman's harvest and healing songs (will post link), asked for their gifts, and apologized for taking their lives. I do this while in contact with the plants, touching, smelling them, observing every detail, no thoughts, just in the present moment. I feel emotional as I do this and remember how they were a companion, a source of distraction in a time of worry, sadness, and loss. How they already comforted me and kept me company in a time of painful insights about honesty, commitment, and staying true to myself. I thank them again for their wisdom and gifts, viva Santa Maria, viva Planta Maestra, may the mother of all beings give us healing and protection. And I proceed with the harvest as I visualize my intentions with every cut. Branch by bud laden branch is tenderly untangled from the scrog net, taken with a clean-cut and immediately hung upside down in the grow tent, which will now double as a curing and drying room. A couple more weeks and we will have the final cured and dried weight. More photos and movies will follow, this is where we are so far!! So the grow had dried in 7 days, what I wanted to be 14 at least. Thankfully, its Sativa ancestry shines through, the smoke isn't harsh, the buds a sticky and smelly, no hay smell at all. We ended up at 246 grams, excluding a shitload of larf and popcorn bud, totaling at 310 grams all in, a first at a gram per watt for me, but for the Zambeza seed competition, I stated we would only weigh the quality bud. Overall I'm very happy!! It was the last week for the Black Jack and I was kind of sad to cut it down. I wanted to go the full 9 weeks of flower but she was telling me she was ready. I couldn't wait another week to get the Liberty Haze in its place either. It took an hour just to cut down/hang and remove most of the crispy and yellow leaves. Have a 3x3 set up for drying and have it dialed in and filled it with 5 hangers from the plant. Cut it into chunks as big as i could fit on the hangers. I weighed the buds wet this time just to get an idea of how much they loose during drying. She got light dose if Buddha bloom and some brix/molasses this week as she was starving.l'm still learning when to harvest but I like a more heady high so Its sometimes hard to tell when the trichomes are past my preference but I want to let a plant flower a week or two after its "supposed" to really have a gauge on it.l next time. But i think I hit it at a good time. Will update the harvest soon. I think this one will need the full 2 weeks drying even though I have my dry tent in the basement now instead if my garage with ac/heater It stays about 64 in the basement and i was having a hard time keeping it down to 60 anyway out my studio without the heater and ac constantly battling, and the ac freezing over. I forgot to take pictures of it on the racks and the setup but i will update

Welp, this is not a September plant😆 This girl is still going for at least another week. Pistils are starting to brown but trichs are still clear and cloudy, no amber yet. I'm hoping to get a little more sugar on her before she finishes. Hopefully it doesn't get too cold and rainy before she's done. All I can say is that I've been impressed with how strong this plant is and I'm looking forward to seeing what kind of numbers she puts out. She's been very healthy and easy to care for so I'm happy so far! She has a little bit of a spicy undertone, so definitely high in Myrcene (which is a pretty safe assumption) and maybe caryophyllene.

I'm quite impressed by this week's development. The girls are starting to show their fatness. I did a flush at the beginning of the week and it helped a lot. Now I'm starting to give them less and less nuts, as they show obvious tip burns. They are getting so so packed with crystals!

So this week the little gelatocake is on week 8 and is really starting to eat herself now, full of trichomes and smells like tutti fruity chewie sweets. Last week of nutes for her then mollases only. Week 7 for the othere gelatocake and shes starting to fatten up now as well as fade also. Babys have got big since re potting I will.bend them over later. Sherbert mimosa are still taking there time I think they are starting to get bigger 🤔🤣 I Will keep you updated lol. Happy growing guys 👌💪💚
