Medium: 🥥🥥🥥🥥 Coco remains as the most manageable medium in our arsenal. It’s simplistic, similar to conventional soil but as a nutrient neutral medium, it’s also much more tailored to the growers preferences in terms of feeding. It’s best attribute is excellent drainage and consistency - a lot fluffier than soil which definitely translates to faster growth rates. It’s a damn shame that this particular grower forgot the cardinal f$&@king rule when it comes to any grow - always water to run off and pay attention to the strength of the feed in relation to the plants growth stage. If we had followed these basic principles we wouldn’t have run into the serious late stage burn that almost toasted the whole plant. On the flip side of that, coco flushes out incredibly well and if not for this attribute, the whole grow would’ve been an unmitigated disaster. Method 🎚️🎚️🎚️🎚️ Uggghhh - hindsight f$&@‘n sucks sometimes. Best descriptor for how we grew this girl - imagine having the dinner table set with your finest china, a bottle of the most expensive red wine you can find, a brand new top-o-the-line BBQ, and then burning the absolute f$&k out of a $40 prime rib. That’s exactly how this grow feels... We were looking to scrog it the whole time and this went perfectly. The plant helped quite a bit with longer than expected internodal spacing. This allowed for a really even canopy/bed of buds. Again though, the vipar 450w (truly a 200w~) shit the bed mid veg. And we needed a replacement. Went with a 100w SpiderFarmer QB. While I truly am pleased with the purchase I do believe that we should’ve upp’d to the 200w model (or 2, 100w models) to achieve a similar output and result - @silverback_guerilla was right on point with the lighting advice (*again). Given the reduced yield it just feels like the nodal spacing and overall bud quality may have suffered with the reduced power. This, despite the better light spectrum and overall coverage in general. As an aside - an additional Fixture is now on the way😉👍. Worst part about this is we’ll never really know what the true limiting factor actually was due to the nute burning. Probably the single most stupid, rook mistake I could’ve made was not watering to runoff.... just too much shit going down in the world (and in life) these days and I started to treat the grow like it was on auto pilot🤬🤬🤬. The whole worlds a cluster f$&k right now so why should the grow be any different right? 4/5 for the method, losing1 point because the grower is a lazy moron. Yield/Harvest🌴 The final numbers are better than expected, 2.26oz of usable bud. Not overly fluffy and not overly dense. Not glazed in frost but not without a little shimmer. All around mediocre unfortunately. What it coulda? Shoulda? Woulda been??? Note sure 🤔 but we’ll take it👍. On a more positive note - There was still another new addition to our grow cycle. This time on the back end. Everyone knows that trimming just plain sucks. When we’re spitt’n out 3-4 plants every few months, the exercise is a dreaded necessity if were gonna maintain the vast array of choice that we’re used to🤙👌. The whole process just for one plant can take hours unless you have help. We prefer to wet trim too so for those that don’t require a commercial size trimmer, the only option to save some time is a trim bowl. We bit the bullet, dropped the cash on one - have NOT been disappointed at all! Not only did it cut the chop process from 2-3 hours down to a mere 45 minutes, the buds literally came out rack ready. There was no need to do any touch up trimming and the bud photos you see are as-is, right out the bowl🤩. Really coulda used this last fall and I would recommend this to anyone who chops more than a handful of plants per year. Just awesome and worth every penny!👌🤙👍 At times like these, we should all just be thankful that we still have both the opportunity and ability to grow our own✌️. Out of Amsterdam, they are the 2nd such breeder to market their genetics worldwide and can lay claim to the origins of their beans better than most (if not all) others. They’ve produced here an indica hybrid cross of M33/Friesland Indica with an elite clone of Lava Cake. We’re hoping to encounter one of the purple phenos but only time will tell. She’s supposed to be super strong too and not for the faint of heart 👍. We’ve been wait’n on this one awhile and she’ll be getting individual treatment in the small cab - 5gal. Coco w/perlite and the typical nute regimen. Advance props for the best packaging I’ve ever seen (although you may need to be an 80’s baby or older to truly appreciate it😉). See week 1 photos.

Screen is set at 11 inches plan on flowering at 20 inches at second trellis net, today went in defoliated and topped a few and made a few more clones deciding if I should fill with 5gals or 3 gals

Day 42 Crazy it's already week 7, it goes so fast. Rocky has outgrown the other 2 by 7 cm I think. It's hard to measure because her head always shows into one direction, incredible how flexible she is. I have no fear any storm (the 50km/h winds show up daily) could hurt her despite a tornado. Day 43 All the girls are fit, still no leaf lost, bugs etc are down to a minimum. It's a fantastic grow for me and as it looks for them too😁 I want to give a shout out to the breeders, especially Barney's. All the auto varieties I had the pleasure to grow outdoors have performed very good and stable. While it wasn't one totally outstanding, but all on a high level, top consistency. And also Kannabia, I didnt know em, but they have a nice catalogue of genetics that are special, for example some midrange THC strains, which I personally love. More "natural" plants. The Kickass is beautiful with that ol skunky smell 😊 Day 44 Today I accidently poured half of the watering can into Zillas soil, I kind of stumbled and so she got her whole feeding at once 😊 She doesnt show an signs of overwatering. Springbrunnen is infected by mildew on the 5 lowest leaf. I will cut them, it's too much of a risk. All 3 girls get a H2O2 treat and some neem oil. Cut some lower leaves that are either infected or yellow & when they're easily removable. I don't like taking off leaves, it's just painful at least for me. Honestly a lot of that heavy defoliation, topping, you name it, feels like torture to me. I mean yes they can be advantageous in different scenarios but my purpose is to let her grow the way SHE wants to, I just want to assist so she can bring out more of her. Day 45 Only 2h sunlight on average the last 3 days, but we're fit. Did a sunset photo shooting with Rocky, tried to make it real art. Day 46 Bad weather, dark days. Checked for bugs and stuff after the neem oil treat, there's still a few but hey - it's outdoors. They leaves I rubbed with neem oil curled up now, they didn't like it! Day 47 Rocky still working on that storm resistance 😂 Dude she's so tall & thin, several times a day I'm thinking "okay let's move her inside" but they had it hard from the beginning so I keep it that way. Zilla bulked up massively. From my current perspective Rocky needs to speed up to hit that 25.06. new moon harvest day. Increasing fertilizer to 75% because the moon calender said it and I think it's the right timing according to the lifecircle.

Hey here we go again.. in the pics I explained how to clean the lava rocks but to make it easier I will put them here. LAVA ROCK CLEANING. 1... fill sink with hot water and about a half bottle of hydrogen peroxide . 2 ...dump rocks into sink 3....shake out rocks from roots...I suggest you do this in another sink then add lava rock to other sink..it keeps from adding to many roots to water sink. 4....skim off all roots from top of water...now while the lava rocks sit in the water..clean the buckets. 5...take fitting from buckets and add to a cup filled with hydrogen peroxide let sit 6...clean buckets with hot water and hydrogen peroxide....dry bucket 7...take fittings out of cup clean off and clean inside fittings..then wash off and put back into buckets. 8... use a colander and add lava rock to it and run hot water over the lava rock as you move them around...then add warm..then cold water this will help make the roots brittle and easy to remove...shake off all water. 9...put rocks back into buckets 10 ...set room back up with all new lines... May9 May10 - growth around where I topped is flying - i've raised up the light another bit May11 - 250ml water May12 May13 - 250ml with 0.5ml of biobizz grow, growth was mad there around the 10th, but its a bit slower now May14 - took out all of the bigger leaves, removed some of the smaller leaves along some of the stronger looking lower branches to try to encourage more growth at the end bud site and used some flexible garden wire to do some LST May15 - watched a video about topping... decided to have a go

So she was chopped (wet trimmed) yesterday (F74) and is now hanging up to dry at 55% RH and temps between 15 and 18ºc. I made fresh frozen dry ice hash today using a 160 micron bubble bag, a flat surface, 8kg of dry ice and a couple 5 gal buckets. I already have the weights for that, which far exceeded my expectations. Those figures I will post once she is dried and in 1 quart screw top glass jars. People suppose dry ice hash is inferior quality vs bubble hash. I am not experienced enough to comment on that but must say it is extremely easy to make hash with dry ice, it took 40 mins to process 995g of trim which included sugar leaves, some stems and popcorn buds. I then pressed it into 3.5g briquettes for storage using a pollen press. As you can see from videos, this stuff is all blonde - and after already trying some today with some friends, it knocked our boots off! Will be back in 5-7 days with harvest figures, smoke analysis and other details! Happy growing all! P.s I ticked defoliation this week - the only week I intentionally cut any leaves off for the entire grow 😉

Se alimenta con ansias ya que el agua de riego desaparece de su maceta en cuestión de horas (además que hay mucha exposición del sustrato). Su etapa de Bloom ya es más que visible y he decidido no hacer defoliación hasta dentro de 2 semanas si fuera necesario. Sus ramas son muy fuertes y creo que no necesita nada más de lo que le doy. I finally installed my net, I love how easy it becomes to bend or acommodate branches. it makes harder the watering part but is justifiable. this will be the second week of flowering and all is looking great Happy grows

🌿 Permanent Marker – Pheno #2 | Harvest Report (Week 13 From Seed / Week 9 Flower) A special chapter, done in a special way. 🌟 A Little Apology First… My dear GrowDiaries family — before anything else, let me start with a small but sincere apology. Because of the new file upload limitations, I had to divide the harvest + trim + drying reports into separate entries. I wish I could show everything in one flow, but I didn’t want to risk losing photos, videos, or important details. So today’s update is fully dedicated to Pheno #2, and next week we’ll honor Pheno #1 with the same love and detail. Thank you for your understanding — and thank you to @GrowDiaries for constantly improving the platform. 💚 🌸 HARVEST – Permanent Marker Pheno #2 (The compact queen who surprised us all.) Where do I start? This girl… wow. She stayed compact, she stayed green, she stayed loyal to her structure — and yet she exploded with floral terpenes and resin in a way I did not expect. She was also, in the end, the fluffier of the two phenos — but fluffy in a good way. Fluffy with volume, aroma, and resin. Not weak — not airy — just beautifully textured. The Reality Check — Bud Rot We did find one single bud showing a small spot of rot. This was expected considering the heat and humidity battles of the room. Others in the room showed more issues — but she held incredibly strong. Nothing major — nothing that affected quality. One bud tossed away, the rest? Absolutely perfect. Just honesty and transparency here, as always. Drying Process We dried her whole plant, hung upside down, untouched for 14 days in a stable environment. Two weeks later, she was crispy on the outside, perfectly cured inside — exactly how I love it. ✂️ Hand Trim – The Love Work Every leaf removed by hand. Scissors, fingers, patience, and care — nothing machine-handled, only craft. She trimmed beautifully, leaving behind full, round, fragrant buds. Final Weight & Cure After trimming and preparing: ➡️ 212 grams dry & cured Official, stable, clean weight. A fantastic result for a compact plant. Everything went into Grove Bags, sealed, labeled with Zamnesia strain tags to keep everything organized for the long cure. She cured for 2.5 months, and my love… She became magic. 🌈 Flavors, Aromatics & Smoke The floral terps are loud, bright, elegant. She gave me beautiful finger-ash, smooth smoke, and on the press — oh my god… Low-temp extraction with a mix of her and a blueberry strain produced an incredible rosin, clean and shimmering. No watering needed in first week as pot dried out after germination. Light set low on 25% (approx 25W) and height is slowly reduced until it's 12" (30cm) from the plant. Lights on for 20 hours and off for 4 hours of darkness.
