🌸 Week 4 Flower Report: Growth, Challenges & Big Changes! 🌸 Hey, Grow Diaries Fam! ✨ We’re here at Week 4 of Flower, and what a week it’s been—packed with challenges, adjustments, and exciting progress! Before diving into the details, let’s start with a note on my flowering timeline. While this is Week 4, I don’t start counting flower days the moment I flip to 12/12. Instead, I wait for the plants to show true signs of bloom. It’s a small but significant distinction that keeps things accurate and aligned with the plants’ development. 🌱 Defoliation: Timing is Everything! Defoliation is a critical part of the flowering stage, and I typically wait until Day 21. However, this week, I tackled it earlier on Day 17 because: 1️⃣ The room was simply too full. 2️⃣ And most importantly—the Papaya Zoap had other plans! She’s a fighter—determined, defiant, and constantly reaching for the moon. Despite intense training like super cropping, she’s still pushing upward, nearly outpacing the LED lights. Challenges like this remind us of a simple truth: gardening mirrors life. It’s about resilience, adaptation, and unwavering determination. 💪 This week, I added a second SCROG layer. While this net will support the flowering colas, it’s also there to strategically manage the Papaya Zoap. Why? Because experience has taught me that if she grows out of the LED’s range, she won’t finish properly—and that could disrupt the balance for every other plant in the tent. It’s all about teamwork, even in the garden. 🌟 Defoliation was intense, removing nearly all the leaves with stems to clear space and boost airflow. The tent now looks dramatically different! THURSDAY 12/20: Both plants are still packing on the pistils. It's a race between the buds finishing and the leaves all falling off.. FRIDAY: The new evaporative cooler is working pretty well in the tent. High temp was 84f with it running on medium and with ice in the reservoir. That's a win. I suspect that when I need to run the other two 85w bar lights it will be pushing 90f again unless I run it on high. RH is is staying between 38% and 45%, which is another win! SATURDAY: I fed them about a gallon of full-strength bloom nutes today. Continuing Beastie Blooms, but will switch to Cha Ching later this week. SUNDAY: Photo session...Cruella is a little more densely budded, but Carlotta has a more pungent aroma at this point. MONDAY: too lazy to update TUESDAY: too lazy to update WEDNESDAY: too lazy to update

Now starting to fatten up and are nice and frosty. Hard to choose between them at the minute on looks but the blue sherbets are definitely some big girls. Buds are dense as fuck and smell lovely. Some of the leaves are quite burnt now so they’re not the best looking lot. Can definately see the affects of the overdrive. Great product. Last week of feed then on to flush.

Update week 4 RDWC

Well I'm not really sure where to start......Got a lot of work done around the garden this week. Got the first load of boards up on the fence and I've been bracing as I go. Grass all trimmed down and some of the inside of the plants, it was a mosquito magnet in there, wasn't fit to be in, it has gotten better. I gave them what I had left of Gaia Green 4-4-4, which was 3 cups each a little shy of what I wanted to put in so I have another bag coming here very shortly and we will top it up then.So far between everything in the garden right now we have went thru 20kg of 4-4-4, minus 6 cups for the indoor peyote super soil. Also getting some trellis as I thought I had enough from last year but cant seem to find it anywhere. They're getting pretty big now kinda makes me worry a bit, never thought they would be this big..... Purple Punch, #1: 73 inches, #2: 76 inches, #3: 78 inches Orange Sherbert, #1: 76 inches, #2: 72 inches, #3: 69 inches I got some lady bugs today and have released them. I'm hoping to be able to pick up enough boards next time I come home that I can finish closing it in. I won't be closing in the south side, I'm just going to be using the cage, please don't make me regret this...... I would really like to see the stretch set in like NOW but thats not going to happen, maybe next time I'm home we'll start to see flowers, if they don't get wrecked in the mean time, gotta get my wall up!!!!! I'm also going to be setting up an automated curing system this week, I'll have pictures up next week.

Wow they are really going strong. They are getting really bushy. I am still doing LST and I am still feeding the fish twice a day. They are all developing multiple tops. I will begin some defoliation this week. I posted a video this time. that other plant in the video is a pineapple.

DAY 11 !! can someone let me know if my plants are looking healthy ? It’s my first time so I’m trying not to fu** up... and should I be worried that some of them already have purple stems? They have been purple for at least 4-5 days and nothing else looks wrong with them?

I cannot wait to see how this beautiful Queen is going to look at te end of the flowering stage, she’s the closet I’ve came to LST in a manner I wanted this baby to grow, loving how brunches twirl around the twig, l have stopped growing Christmas tree shaped babies. I LST from the seedling phase right through to flowering, you should not forget that this plant can take stress, imagine it was growing in the wild, some stress in your plant’s lie is critical for positive growth, from my point of view my trees are going to struggle with big buds, because it does not have this thick stems.

She's continuing on her mission of stacking her flowers, which are developing beautifully and have a delicious sweet citrus aroma to them right now. I did not water yesterday, so today I watered with 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉ and rotated her pot... Damn she is looking great! 🤩💖 9/17- Yesterday I top dressed her with 1/2 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish then watered it in with 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water that was ph'd to 6.5 @ 72℉. Her flowering is continuing beautifully and she's smelling stronger every day it seems! I'm staying on top of tucking leaves blocking light and turning her pot daily as well. 9/19- Five weeks of flower on the books! We're halfway there now, she's stacking her flowers tightly going into Week Six and she's looking phenomenal! 🤩 When I watered her today I added 1 tbsp/g each of Kelp Extract and Fish Emulsion (both liquid) to the 1.5g of straight de-chlorinated water she received, which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 74℉. ~Thanks for stopping in! What a week, the Amnesia Haze from Divine Seeds continues to pack on flower and is honestly worth the wait for weight if you know what i mean 😉 she is currently going through her flush period and will luckily make it for atleast a week of drying and two weeks of curing before competition time, wish she had more time but unfortunately the glory of holding one of the first East Coast Canna Cup Trophies is the goal at hand and we get the feeling that she is without a doubt a cup winner. 29th April is D Day, wish us luck till then everyone

Finished week 9 and cut them down... It was a forest.

Day 64: unquestionably in flower. Added one gallon of pH 6.5 water with nutrients. Day 65: No picture. Day 66: yikes! Left her in the dark for 24 hours. Forgot to turn the light back on after day 64's Glamour shots. On the opposite side, the damaged branch is upright. Perhaps it won't be lost. Day 67: looking thirsty. Added one gallon of water with early flower nutrients. One leaf has holes in it (not pictured). Will have to watch for pests. Day 68: Man this plant is thirsty. I don't want root rot so I will wait one more day for watering. One leaf has odd holes in it. It is directly in the path of the fan so I wonder if it is related to that. Day 69: added one gallon of ph6.0 water no nutrients Day 70: Nothing remarkable to report
