Hello! Hello! This week has been another solid week in the books. I did quite a bit of defoliation this week as the ladies were in need of it. Wanted to open up some airflow for them as well as get some of those lower bud sites some light. I am currently feeding about 3 gallons a day as these girls are drinking quite a bit. First gallon I feed is from the extra I mixed on res change for the week, then I have typically been going with RO water and Cal-mag for my other two. I am still learning and figuring out feedings, but so far so good this run. I am thinking I should have done a second trellis net as well, they just keep stretching, but seem like they should be pretty close to done, but still more than I anticipated. Quite a bit different from my first run, those plants were super short and bushier, more of the typical Indica style. I think its definitely easier to defoliate and train these plants, but that could be my knowledge has grown a little as well. No plans to do anything else to them other than monitor the environment, keep up with my res and monitor that, and make sure these light penetration and airflow is good! As always, any tips, comments, questions, or recommendations always appreciated and welcomed! 👊👊

Reduced ph to 6.8. Increased humidity to around 50%. Lights set at 50% pwr. Currently 18hrs on.

I will put up the trellis this week and defoliate them All the plants are looking good The black cherry gushers is stretching a lot. Hope it will not go crazy in the stretching periode.

Hey Guys, Growth has taken off a lot this past week, have had to add a heater to the grow which isn’t ideal but with warmer months coming this should only be temporary. I have the thermostat set to start the heater when temps go below 23°c. Watching Dr Bruce Bugbee on YouTube, he stated that growth does start to suffer below this temperature. One of the plants has some odd colours and growth which I’m pretty sure is Mg deficiency, which is probably due to that particular girl being more sensitive to PH swings than the rest of the ladies. I have had to insulate some of the circulating pipes as the water cooler was struggling to keep the water baths cool. Seems to have helped keep temps down a couple more degrees, I mate have to reconfigure where my water cooler is in the piping run after this grow Finally a special thanks to the GD team for selecting my previous diary for DOTM, very flattering considering some of the great content that was submitted for March 2020! That’s all she wrote ladies and gents! As seen previously in this grow diary, this was a micro plant. Only yielded a couple buds but they are glorious! Beautiful color, reasonably frosty, pungent sweet citrus and berry aroma. Looking forward to growing out this strain again - properly next time.

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up!
