Frostbanger Plants 1-6 Week 9 May 18– 24 FLOWER 5 Nutrients : 3 gal GH Micro 20 ml GH Gro 10 ml GH Bloom 30ml CalMag 15 ml Recharge 10ml Green sensation 15ml Power buds 7.5 ml 5/18 PH 6.67, PPM 935, temp 68.5 1 ltr each 5/20 PH 6.67, PPM 1330, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/23 PH 6.6, PPM 1570, temp 68.5 2ltr each 5/24 pics & vid Since all 6 gals are getting frosty, I did some trichome pics. The statistics on Frostbanger indicate 50-day flower. Pics show mostly clear and milky. There are a few with amber trichs and many orange pistils indicating maturation. At least 3 more weeks for maturity on these gals. I continue manual control of the environment and using 3 circulating fans and the 4” exhaust vent from my 3x3. I have the AC pushing air in and the exhaust pulling air out. This creates a neutral pressure tent environment-neither positive nor negative. It looks like growth has stopped and plant height has been reached. Now is the time for buds to fatten and frost up. All 6 of them are short remaining less than 3 ft. They range from 15 to 31 inches. #4, 5 &6 are showing some fade, particularly #4. Upon opening the tent, a melon smell comes off the buds if I get close, and more stickiness was observed during the process of defoliation. They are living up to the new strain’s name. #5 is the frostiest followed by #2. Wow week 3 of flower and that much frost already. Before FastBuds announced the strain name and characteristics, I was disappointed that FBA2502 could be an indica sleepy strain but the universe provides what you need at the time. I started picking for forbidden fruits the day after last week’s post, checking the colas with the scope and only picking tops that were approx 10-20% amber. As I snipped colas I also removed a lot of upper fan leaves, this is to allow light to reach lower buds for a final ripening. Once picked, I placed approx 100g in each brown paper bag, folded the top and sat on a rack. I slowly rolled the bags around once or twice a day just so the buds didn’t stick together. Seems to have worked well, no dreaded hay smell to note and nicely dried. I think I’ll be taking some more colas tops off in a few days time and I’ll keep the plants alive for another week or two, depending on how fast they come along. I have 4 Mimosa EVO (no diary) about 7 weeks into veg at the moment and I think it would be nice to give them another 2 weeks as I need big plants to make clones from them, ready for the next diary coming soon... hopefully with successfully taken clones 😊

settimana soddisfacente ad inizio settimana ho travasato la pianta,nel travaso ho trovato una parte delle radici un po' piu scura del normale,come avevo scritto ho usato del coco vecchio e in quella parte rimaneva piu umido e compatto..naturlmente ho aggiunto coco nuovo quindi ho aggiuto micorizze sulle radici prima di reinvasare ho aspettato un giorno che il cocco si asciugasse un po' di piu e h bagnato con il doppio dell'acido umico che metto normalmente LST continua con piccoli aggiustamenti e una defogliazione limitata a qualche foglia ,al buio,ogni tanto le dimensioni iniziano ad aumentare

Well she seems to be getting along very well for her 4th week in flower. Nothing exciting done this week i keep feeding her about 5 litres of water with 30ml canna A and 30ml canna B with a ph of 6.3 on average water schedule about every 24hours.

Week 3 – She’s coming along strong! Already showing those classic autoflower traits early on, around day 15. The growth is picking up fast now, especially with the space to stretch out in that 10L pot. You can really see the structure starting to form – compact but full of energy. Let’s see how much she stretches over the next week!

This week I started low stress training on all three plants to try and help grow an even canopy over the next few weeks. 🌱🌱🌱 More possible deficiencies showing on the lower fan leafs but all three plants look for the most part healthy and are still showing good growth each day developing more and more bud sites . 🙂✌️

After a week of growth, the Blackberry is out of the dome. It was overgrowing it, so I just transplanted it into its final autowatering pot for simplicity. I normally go seedling pot to 1.5g pot to 3-5 gallon pot, but this very tall 2.5 gallon airpot will be a first for me. I think the benefits it will receive outweigh the cons. I am now running a humidifier at 60 percent RH, and will be watching the plants carefully throughout the week as I dial up the nutrients and ensure a good VPD for the plants. The Blackberry is a bit more vigorous and healthy than the Blackberry Kush by Dutch Passion growing with it. I hope the Kush catches up, but I am very pleased with the Fastbuds at this early state. Thanks for reading, and stay safe everyone! 👍🌱 Day 10: started adding silicon and rapid start (and a little pH down) and upped the trio slightly. In case anyone is wondering if there is any perlite, there is! It's just chilling under layer of pure coco. Right now there is 3l of perlite per pot, with the highest concentration lowest in the pot. The Blackberry is growing very well at this point, and definitely does not mind the earlier transplant! Day 12: I lowered the light height by 8in, down to my more usual vegitative height, to ensure maximum light exposure for this vigorous plant. The Blackberry is doing well, and will definitely get topped after it gets another node or so of growth. Day 13: I am running low on calimagic as a cal mag source, so I switched out to Greenleaf nutrients cal-mag pro that I have a bag of (that will last forever!) It has a bit more nitrogen, which is good for the current plant stage, so I can save the calimagic for flowering if the plants don't mind the switch. I mix about .5-.6 EC worth of Cal mag, which is about .625tsp per 5 gallons of the Cal mag pro. I will have this reflected on tomorrow's diary entry.

After 48 hours, these things are beast. I thought they needed more time, I couldn’t judge how long they were. I had to dig them out of the paper towel, learned that I need to use cheaper paper towels. 6 out of 6 germinated on my first grow. Let’s keep the same growth going. ******************************* 14 Hours After Potting ************** TEMPS The most recent video showing the domes is 14 hours after potting them. The temps have been very stable at 83F and 70% humidity. My ambient temp outside of the tent is 70F. AIR FLOW I’m currently only running a 6 inch fan above the light for circulation. I have not used the exhaust, I think the idea at this stage is to keep humidity high, any thoughts would be great. LIGHTNING I do have my TSW on max and lowered the height to 36 inches it was almost twice the height yesterday. I didn’t want to make the change so drastic and waited a bit before lowering the height. WATERING The top soil did feel a bit dry and a little moist under. Under the dome it still looks very moist. I sprayed the plastic domes, I’m using distilled ph’d water. I did some light watering on the soil but I’m not sure how much water I should be using . Now that I lowered the height soil should dry out quicker, any thoughts?
