In general features can be considered a resistant plant, very fast in all processes, good production, and to some extent tasty and powerful, especially considering that it is automatic flowering.
It grows without stretching too much, compact, forming a very dense structure, shaped like a fir tree. Its stems are very strong, to be able to support the weight of the buds in bloom. During its maturation it is a real spectacle, with shades of blue, red, violet, purple, lilac, and mixtures of other beautiful colors.
What is the genetics contained in Autoflowering Blueberry?
This is a cross between the DJ. Short's Blueberry with a Blueberry Auto, so it can be considered a back-crossing. It was made this way to try not to lose the features that made the original Blueberry famous all over the world, especially its effect, its colors and the great taste of berries it contains.
Thanks to the work of the breeders in the selection of each generation we can say that we have achieved what we wanted. Our auto version of Blueberry barely contains the ruderalis genes that cause autoflowering, the rest come from the line that stabilized the great Daniel John Short.
In indoor cultivation we recommend a pot of at least 2,6 US gal (10 litres) so that its development is not slowed down. It is a good idea to germinate in a 0,8 US gal (3 liters) pot and after 20 days approximately transplant to the final one, of 2,9, 4 or 5,3 (11, 15 or 20 liters) would be ideal. Its best photoperiod is 18 hours of light and 6 of darkness daily, or 20 of light and 4 of darkness.
In outdoor cultivation you can get several harvests a year, especially in places with a temperate or warm climate. In the northern hemisphere the best season for its cultivation goes from May to September, when there are more hours and incidence of the sun. When growing outdoors it is better to plant in a larger pot than indoors, if you can 6,6 or 7,9 US gal(25 or 30 litres).
