What’s up guys!! Welcome back. Week 8 just commencing - fully flushed the plants today which took forever - getting the build up of advanced nutes salts took ages, but finally got the EC of the runoff down to the same level as the water going in to the plant. Should start seeing some mad colours coming through now, but the plants are looking super dank - especially the Zkittlez! Going for a two week flush now as the trichs seem to be ready - the runtz may need a few more days than the zkitz - but it looked to be suffering a bit from some nute lockout so I’ve gone for the flush now. Hopefully I’ll see some good signs in the next couple of days! Thanks for checking in 🙌🏼

My second girl is really having a rough time coping with hot temperatures. Summer is really hot where I'm from. It's about 40 outside.. and it's gonna get worse with heatwaves soon.I had been turning on my AC lately but ones I turn it off temp goes up in 10 minutes.. I tried putting ice buckets next to the opening vents in my tent.. but it didn't seem too make a big difference. I added another small fan inside the tent and big fan outside in the room for more cool air circulation. I just hope I can make my girl survive till the end. The buds are still getting bigger and the smell increases with days. Leafs started to die off tho and some started lose colour or get crispy. There's so much leafs that I can't even defoliatiate them all and don't want to touch the buds a lot to ruin them.LOOK AT HER THO SHE IS A BEAST! 🖤🖤👽 I've heard that with heat your pH goes down even if you gave her the correct one. So I think I've got that problem because I calibrate my pH meter every time I use it to avoid problems with pH. Will see in the future...she've got another 2 weeks I'm assuming. Gonna check trichomes in a few days, last time I checked they just started to get milky. I hate summer and heat 😭 it was doing all well before it got soo hot 👿👿🙏💪💪👀👀 oh well Cya next week with an update.

Day 62! Not long left at all now with the 🍋🍒🍪 they smell amazing! 🦍🍪 setting a decent pace now too, the first defoliation session I’ve had on them too, wasn’t sure if to just leave them , but I’m more than happy with them now, everything’s looking and smelling 10/10.. untill next week! 👊🏻

Aug 16: Sunday Punch EV is a strong plant and it will likely be my biggest yielder this year. Have the UV lights going again today and the buds are looking great. Natural UV drops really fast here after mid-August so the UV lights should help them finish strong with higher potency. Aug 18: flash pics before using red light at dusk is okay, but don't take flash pics if you don't have a far red light. Bad idea. Likely. Video shows how to use the far red light at dusk. Just a few seconds at the right time of day is all it takes. I use Civil Twilight for my location as listed on timeanddate.com which is a few minutes earlier each night at this time of year.

Acapulco, gold has gone absolutely crazy, and we have so many branches. I have lollipoped her this week, too. She is still stretching, hopefully that's gonna end real soon, because we have no room left in the tent, and we're getting light burn. I have been moving the plant around to maximise the light exposure and minimise the light stress and heat damage, she has been drinking a fair amount. I'm just trying to get the fungus gnat population under control with some sticky traps. Here is what I did this week. The plant was easy to grow overall .. it grew fast and a little on the tall side which had me nervous but I was able to raise the lights up just enough to finish, so it all worked out in the end. buds came out hard and frosty no complaints . This was a freebie seed too! didn’t expect it to come out as fire as it did man was i wrong. Straight fire 🔥 Ran into root rot in the beginning of veg but the great white and hydroguard saved my ass.🙏

19.04. Day 83 Day 43 and things remain steady. The two overfed plants are still on pH-adjusted water only. The one in the front is starting to show signs of recovery – looks like the flush is working. The one in the back right, though, is pretty far gone – necrosis has set in deep. At this point, it’s just about damage control. No real comeback expected, but I’ll keep it going. All the other girls are thriving. Still getting 2–2.5 liters of nutrients every two days. Buds are swelling up nicely – and finally, the frost is starting to settle in. Buds are not as dense as the first purple punch but the mass is more. Will keep this updated up to drying. Edit #1 June 15 : buds have been washed in baking soda/lime juice warm water (32*C) > rtp water (27*C) > cold water (22*C). Buds then will be hung to dry for 24 hours in AC (45% humid). At day 2 (or in another 24 hours) will move the buds into another room for 24 hours again @65-75% humidity. Day 3 (or in another and probably the last 24 hours of drying) will move back into ac and then a stem test on each branch will be conducted to see if they are dry enough. If they are not dry enough after day 3 (2 days ac @ 45% and 1 day rtp @65-75%) then a 4th day of ac drying will occur and then more branch tests. Upon being sufficiently dry, the final trim of the sugar leaves will occur and then jarring with some Boveda 58%. Thanks for reading, more edits to come. Had to cull 2 plants this week. The strawberry haze x banana og was a male and the sour sorbet was a Hermie so they are gone. The remaining plants didn't take much time to fill out into the extra space they have. Been doing some defoliation but they need a lot more pretty soon. I have been spraying the sugarcane clones with colloidal silver and got all the clones out of the cloner and into soil. Hopefully will be getting some pollen in a couple weeks.
