Day 22 and 23: Going easy breezy so far!! I released some ladybugs in my tents on these Chocolate Mint OG's 21st day. So far so good lol. Last night when I watered I gave a little real growers recharge to help with the recent transplant (it definitely gave them a boost!) Its mid summer here in MI and 84+ temps 😬 keeping the house and tents cool has been a challenge to say the least. Thankfully all my plants are in Veg and seem to like the heat. Except the Choc Mint.they are showing mild heat stress on the top fan leaves(at least that's my guess) Tent temps have been around 86 down to 84 daytime. I lowered them so they are 24" from the lights 🤞 hopefully that helps. Other than that, no problems. And some generally happy plants! The recharge and soil combo burned them a very little bit as well. Day 25&26 Nothing too eventful. I watered #2 on day 25. With some real growers recharge. The stuff is awesome! No nutrients needed if you have good soil! Day 26: snip 2 fan leaves from #2(the topped one) she was getting a little bushy. And tucked the other fans under to promote some lower branch growth. #1 I'm letting roll totally natural unless I clean up lower canopy to prevent pests. Day 27: Plants are doing great! #1 is really getting tall and # 2 is staying short and squat because of the training. We are letting #1 go naturally. Honestly not much to say about the dry and trim, which is definitely a good thing. 12 days hanging in the tent, and the plants were ready to trim. me & the Mrs. absolutely sailed through it. Stores like a dream, and smokes the same. Not a crazy amount of flavour, but the aroma that it has is lime and cream. And the taste is more earthy and spicy. Loving and savouring every bit of it. Sorry I’m very late with this, but I’ve been busy getting my next plants started! You should see them come up soon, as I’m quite behind in my posting. I’m very happy! 🤟💚

Well I missed the one week of documenting this beauty ..she has been doing so good since I transplanted her Into the garden bed . The branches keep getting super cropped and the growth rate is crazy right now .. The branches will need support in the future you can see just how big she may get once flowering gets here .. Big shout out to @dinafemseeds for the crazy genetics at play here ..

09/06/2018 She has grow a little😀 bit,going to 1/2 strength nutes in res change today. Can't believe how thick her stem is! Had slight leaf tip burn from ferts but not enough to be concerned about. Started week with 9 liters in DWC bucket. Will top as needed with plain water. . Note: remember rinse hydroton! 09/10/2018 Getting nice growth this week,a little more leaf tip burn,but not excessive amount,also I topped her today I believe that I will go to 3/4strength next change and full strength for flowering.which is when I bring red spectrum up to 100%.

Amazing experience with the Mix Pack, I will try it again next summer for sure. Love the variety.

Week 02 Introduction This week has been a bit of a struggle. Had my first experience dealing with slime and brown algae. But I think adding enzymes and increasing the beneficial bacteria helped to fix the issue. Also experienced nutrient burn for the first time. My nutrient solution strength got as high as 671 PPMs. So backed it down to about 430 PPMs during the end-of-week reservoir change. Also cut Hydroguard (expired?), CaliMagic, and Superthrive from this grow. Now she's still stunted, but is starting to recover. Hopefully... [START OF WEEK 02] Day 01 - Monday - 08/10/20 - Total Days: 008 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Still looks a bit yellow. But getting larger! --- Solution strength was at 248 PPMs. --- Just topped off with a bit of distilled water --- PH went up to 6.1 so PH'd down to 5.8 --- Ran the top feed for a bit to wet the hydroton. - [2130]: She's looking even more yellow now. --- Even the new leaves are really yellow. --- Decided to add more base nutes. --- Added 4ml of Sensi A --- Added 4ml of Sensi B --- Now at about --- Solution Strength went up to 304 PPM. --- PH was at 6, --- Also raised the water level a bit more. --- I really hope it's a nutrient deficiency and not an over-watering issue. --- Please live! Didn't really stink or anything. Is this normal? Maybe due to the Hydroguard and Voodoo Juice? --- I hope she gets better soon! - [2215]: Getting larger! But still yellow. --- Also can see a root growing through the net pot! Tiny little thing but it's there! Will have to start dropping water once more appear. --- After looking over a few DWC diaries using AN nutes, seems like my solution strength is still too low. Most around this stage average around 500 PPMs with about 4ml per gallon. --- Top fed for a minute to wet the top of the hydroton. --- Solution strength went down to 263 PPM. --- Added 8ml more of Sensi A --- Added 8ml more of Sensi B --- Now base nutes are at 16ml for 4.5 gal of water. --- PPMs went up to 411. --- Still lower than 500 PPMs, but that's okay. --- PH was at 6. Not sure if I should adjust PH using AN nutes. So going to not ajdust unless PH goes above 6.1. Day 03 - Wednesday - 08/12/20 - Total Days: 010 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: Looks like more root growth! --- She still looks yellow. But leaves are perky. --- PH was at 6.2 so lowered down to 5.8. --- Solution strength was at 394 PPMs --- Since roots are still growing, I decide to lower the water level a bit. Now water level is a bit below the net pot. - [2200]: Root is getting longer! --- Slime is returning. Not sure why. --- Solution strength: 357 PPMs --- PH: 6.1 --- Decided to add an enzyme along with more beneficial bacteria to hopefully cure the slime. --- Added 16ml of Sensizym --- Added 5ml of Hydroguard --- Added 8ml of Voodoo Juice --- New solution strength: 430 PPMs --- New PH: 6.1 --- Top fed for a minute. --- This slimy residue is really freaking me out! I hope the added enzymes will help eliminate the slime. --- Going to do a full reservoir sterilization/nutrient change over the weekend. Please survive until then girl! Day 04 - Thursday - 08/13/20 - Total Days: 011 ----------------------------------- - [0930]: I think the enzymes worked! There is little to no slime now! --- Although I think the root was also dissolved in the process. It's now just a little stub sticking just below the net pot. The enzyme is also suppose to dissolved dead roots too but guess that root was too weak? Not sure what happened there. But I think the slime is cured! --- Solution strength went down to 395 PPMs. Decided to add more base nutrients. --- Added 8ml of Sensi A --- Added 8ml of Sensi B --- Added 4ml of B-52 --- Solution strength went up to 598 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.1 --- As long as the PH is between 5.5 and 6.3, I'm not going to use PH Up or Down. But still will monitor PH levels. - [1715]: Checked up on her after her nap and shes looking alive but stunted. But no slime! --- Decided to add some sugars to help maintain the enzymes and beneficial bacteria. --- Solution strength was at 587 PPMs. --- PH was at 6.2 --- Added 8ml of Bud Candy --- Solution strength went up to 671 PPMs. --- PH also went up to 6.3 --- Lowered water level a bit to hopefully promote more root growth. --- Top fed for a minute. --- She is getting bigger, but still looks yellow. Day 05 - Friday - 08/14/20 - Total Days: 012 ----------------------------------- - [0915]: Leaves look a little burnt on the tips. Still no slime. --- Going to back off on the PPMs to hopefully fix the nutrient toxicity. --- Solution strength was at 632 PPMs --- PH was at 6.3 --- Added/Removed water until PPMs were at 536. --- PH was still at 6.3 --- Raised water up a bit, then top fed for a minute. - [2200]: Looking better. Still yellow though. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 6.5 --- Added PH down. --- New solution strength: 518 PPMs --- New PH: 5.2 --- PH was kind of high. So decided to PH down. Had to use quite a bit to bring it down. But eventually got it to drop down to 5.3. A little low, but so far, the PH has always gone up so wanted to start it really low. --- Ran the top feed for a minute to re-saturate the top of the hydroton. Day 06 - Saturday - 08/15/20 - Total Days: 013 ----------------------------------- - [0830]: She looks stunted. leaves are still yellow. --- Solution strength: 514 PPMs --- PH: 5.6 --- Top fed for a minute. --- Not sure what to do at this point. Going to do another reservoir change soon. Hoping she lives until then. - [2145]: Looking pretty much the same. --- A bit of slime has returned. Since I've been diluting the nutrient solution, the enzyme ratio has dropped. So I guess this is expected. --- Also noticed that slime build up was on the air-stones. Never really checked the stones so not sure how long that has been there. Looks brown too, which can't be good. --- Going to do an H202 sterilization of the system (minus the net pot) tomorrow so did not add anything. --- Lowered the water level to below the net pot. --- Then top fed for a minute. Day 07 - Sunday - 08/16/20 - Total Days: 014 ----------------------------------- - [0900]: STERILIZATION DAY! --- Decided to skip today's night cycle for a deep clean. --- I'm hoping that skipping a night cycle won't be too stressful. --- Temporarily moved her to a new bucket. --- Used about a half of gallon of straight distilled water to flush out the net pot. --- Drained the system and wiped up all the brown sludge. Also removed the air stones and cleaned up all the goo. --- Filled the system with 2 gallons of distilled water and at least 30ml of food grade hydrogen peroxide (35% strength). --- Yea its a lot, but since I'm not going to sterilize the system overnight, I went with a really high doseage. Basically I kept adding until I started to see little bubbles start to form. --- Then I ran the water pump. - [0915]: Boiled the air stones in tap water for about 10 min. Then reconnected them to the airlines. --- I let the air stones and hose soak in the sterilization solution for about 5 minutes so the peroxide can absorb into the stones. Then ran the air stone to help mix and agitate the solution. --- Occasionally, I'd repeat the process of turning the air pump off for a few minutes to let the stones soak. - [1000]: Covered the top two row of holes of the net pot with some aluminum tape. Hopefully this solves the light leaking in through the hydroton. - [1200]: Used an old toothbrush and scrubbed the pump clean. Then drained the system. --- Refilled with more distilled water and peroxide. Again added a lot. --- Ran system again to sterilize even more. - [1530]: Drained the system and refilled with distilled water to rinse. --- Ran the system for a few minutes, then drained and rinsed again. --- Did this a few more times over about an hour. - [1630]: Added 4 gallons of fresh distilled water. --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow A --- Added 15ml Sensi Grow B --- Added 12ml of B-52 --- Added 16ml of Voodoo Juice --- Added 16ml Sensizym --- Solution strength was at 430 PPMs --- PH was at 5.6 --- I was going to add Hydroguard, but I think the bottle is expired. Since 2017 or 2018!? I think Hydroguard is good for up to 2 years from the date on the bottle or 6 months after opening. So not going to use from now on. I wonder if this could have contributed to the slime build up. --- Also removed the CaliMagic and Superthrive too. Going to only use AN products to eliminate the chance of incompatible nutrients. --- Placed her back in the bucket and top fed for a minute. --- Here's hoping for the best. Hello grow friends, Today is the start of Week 7 and it‘s day 40 of groth for the plants. It‘s safe to say, they transitioned nicely into flower and spread evenly throughout the tent. It was pretty time consuming to get enough light to the lower branches but it seemes to be paying off. At the start of next week, I have a heavy defolition planed so at day 21 of flower most of the fanleaves will be cut off. This will help tremendously with the high humidity i‘m dealing with. Somehow I still manage to get it down but I still have a job to go to and not much time to devote. Anyways, c you soon guys and have a great start to the week. 🤟🏼

Sind superdick lang und schnell wieder braun. Bud Körper bilden sich und sind hart. Und das überall. Ok tiefer gleich kleiner. Am 001.009.021 wird sie 71 tage alt. 35 in Blüte. And, what the phylaxien! I mean they re unnormal. Never seen phylaxien growing so massive (i mean pls look at one phylaxie., i think theyre big,) and then as FAST they go brown. Boah difficult to explain. I checked the soil. Wet enough. Looking my Gelato 41 FAST. She is everywhere healthy. I read this is a monster genetic But to see, how it grows! This strain is (so far) different from all the others i made with before. First its a photo. (accidently because I'm a idiot) Than 2 weeks untrained growing. Than not vey lovefull i showed her her new grow direction. And the smell. Of Gelato 41 fast is.. The smell of Gelato, 41 fast. Heavy smell on your fingers from everywhere. Sour Diesel — The Ascension of a Legend 🙂 Week 13 | Flowering | The quiet final stretch Sour Diesel was never the easiest girl in the room. From the beginning, she was the one that lagged behind. Smaller, tighter, less vigorous, less willing to stretch into the room the way the others did. She never had the same natural momentum, never claimed the same canopy space, and for most of the run, she looked like the plant that simply got outpaced. But this is exactly why this week matters. Because despite a slower start, despite a more compact frame, despite being the smallest girl in the room, she never stopped building. She just did it differently. And now, near the end, she is showing exactly what resilience looks like in flower: a compact, dense, intensely stacked Sour Diesel with real weight, proper frost, and far more character than her size first suggested. She may not be the tallest plant in the room. She may not be the widest plant in the room. But she earned every gram she is carrying. And that deserves its moment. Small frame, full intention Sour Diesel never became a large plant structurally. She stayed shorter, tighter, and more compact from the start, which naturally put her at a disadvantage in a room where the rest of the canopy climbed higher and intercepted more direct top light. In a standard top-down setup, that usually means one thing: the lower half underperforms. Less penetration. Less useful PPFD below the crown. Less productive lower flower development. But this is exactly where the layered lighting approach changed the outcome. Because while her top canopy remained below the rest of the room, she was never truly left in the shade. The inner canopy bars and under-canopy support kept usable photons moving through the lower structure, which meant the lower sites still received enough energy to remain productive. Not equal to the top, of course—but productive enough to continue building instead of stalling. And on a smaller plant like this, that matters even more. She did not need extreme stretch. She needed access. And access changed everything. That is why this plant still developed visible lower flower mass, proper side stacking, and much better density through the mid and lower zones than a compact plant like this would usually produce under top light alone. She stayed small. But she never stopped producing. Why we are now running only water + enzymes At this stage, the job is no longer to push growth. The structure is built. The flowers are formed. The plant has already done the heavy lifting. Now the goal is not to feed harder. The goal is to finish cleaner. From here forward, Sour Diesel is running on plain water and enzymes only. That means no more base nutrients, no more bloom push, no more unnecessary inputs—just hydration, biology, and a clean finish. And at this point in flower, that makes sense for several reasons. 1. The plant no longer needs to be pushed Late flower is not the time to force new production. The plant is no longer trying to build a new framework. It is finishing, ripening, and reallocating what it already holds. At this stage, overfeeding usually does not create better flowers. It more often creates excess residue, unnecessary salt accumulation, and a dirtier finish. The bulk is already there. Now we let the plant finish what it started. 2. Enzymes help clean the root zone This is where enzymes earn their place. At the end of the cycle, enzymes help break down leftover organic material, dead root matter, and residual waste in the medium. That helps keep the rhizosphere active, reduces unnecessary buildup, and keeps the root zone cleaner during the final stretch. The goal here is not “feeding” in the classic sense. It is maintenance. Cleanup. Biological support. We are not trying to push more into the pot. We are trying to help the system finish clean. 3. We reuse this soil This matters. Because this medium is not being treated like disposable substrate. It will be reused, and what is left in it matters. By finishing lighter and keeping enzymes in play, we are not just thinking about this harvest—we are also thinking about the biological life left behind in the soil after harvest, and how that soil transitions into its next job outdoors. Instead of ending with a heavily loaded, overly salted medium, we finish cleaner, keep the biology more intact, and make that transition back into living use much easier. That matters now. And it matters later. Why the light is also being reduced now This is another late-flower adjustment that often gets overlooked. At this stage, they do not need the same intensity they needed during peak production. Earlier in flower, stronger PPFD made sense because the plant was actively building mass, driving expansion, and converting light into structural output. Now the job is different. Now we are finishing ripeness, not chasing stretch or bulk. So light intensity is being reduced accordingly. Not because the plant is “done” —but because she no longer needs to be pushed like she is still in peak construction mode. Softer finishing light helps reduce unnecessary stress in late flower, lowers excess demand, and better matches what the plant is actually doing now: ripening, maturing, and closing. Less push. More finish. What to watch now: trichomes, calyx, pistils, fade This is the week where patience matters more than feeding. Not every sign of maturity happens at once, and not every visible change means harvest is immediate. This is where people rush. Do not harvest because one sign changed. Harvest when the plant begins aligning across multiple signals. That is what matters now. Trichomes Trichomes are still the clearest indicator of maturity, but they need to be read correctly. What we are watching now is the shift from clear → cloudy, followed by the first meaningful amber development. * Clear = still immature * Cloudy / milky = peak cannabinoid maturity * Amber = oxidation / deeper ripening The goal is not “amber everywhere.” The goal is a mature field. We want the majority developed, mostly cloudy, with the first real amber appearing in context—not isolated, not on sugar leaves, and not misread from damaged tissue. Sugar leaf trichomes mature faster and are not the best harvest reference. Watch the calyx heads. That is where the real read is. Calyx swell This is one of the most overlooked end-of-flower signs. The calyx is what we want to watch now. As the plant finishes, the calyxes swell, stack tighter, and begin to look fuller, rounder, and more pressurized. That final inflation is one of the clearest visual signs that the flower is actually finishing. This is where the “weight” often really appears. Not because the plant suddenly grows more structure, but because the flower tightens and finishes filling itself in. Pistils / white hairs White hairs are useful, but only in context. Fresh white pistils still mean the plant is actively expressing new growth. Darkening pistils suggest progression. Receding pistils suggest maturity. But pistils alone are not a harvest signal. Some plants throw fresh hairs late. Some oxidize early. Some mislead entirely. Watch them—but do not trust them alone. Leaf fade Late flower fade is expected now. As the plant winds down, it naturally begins reallocating internal resources, and leaf color starts to shift with it. Greens soften. Some leaves pale. Some yellow. Some lose intensity. Late flower should look like a plant reaching completion, not like a plant still trying to look vegetative. The goal now is not perfect green. The goal is proper finish. DAY 31 I MAKE LST & DEFOLIATION.

Did a light feed flush on Saturday 10-11 and started her on 12/12. Got her first Bloom feed on 10-14. Shes already moved, from 3 days to every other for water. also did a light foliar spray of epson salts. the day she flipped, so it wouldnt affect the sites. after 2 days, she already showing hairs in her bud sites. much quicker than my first time. it took a week. im happy with her space, hopefully don't have to do much till, day 21ish! Oh and Silly kitty! 😻😹

This is the girl's final week. The wife will be happy the stink is coming to an end. Will be stripping off all the useless leaves at this point, getting them ready for a quick trim. The ppm in the planters is down under 200 ppm now Kannabia genetics made these easy to grow. I had no problems growing these 3 different strains out. They all flourished except for 2 of the smaller ladies. They were a little overfed as I treat all girls in the tent with equal amounts of everything. Those girls still did well, just not as well as their bigger sisters. The Kritical will be coming down first as most of the pistols have oranged over and the trichs are clouded over. The Super OG will be the next to come down. The buds on these girls are so hard I think you could knock someone out, if you through it at someone's head lol.... The Hellfire OG will be the last to come down as their still throwing pistols. Mostly still white and gaining more weight. I gave 3 of the seeds to my bud and he grew his out under cmh lighting. Plants stayed much more compact and he just finished his trimming. Under the HID the plants get much larger and buds twice the size. I gave him the same feed my girls got through his entire grow, mixed and ready for him, so it was mostly lighting that made the difference. My climate controls are also much better, but he is very happy with the amount he trimmed from each plant. Grade A looking weed for sure.... Thanks for the looks and like my frinds. 🙏
