All right so here we are and again I am shocked by how much abuse this girl has taken not only by me but by the medium it originated in which killed another plant so this girl at a young age had to be tough and that willingness to live and resilience has gotten us to where we are today.. WEEDSEEDSEXPRESS big thank you to you as this grow has been 24 years in the making.. since an amateur grower in Bridgeport Connecticut very close to where I was born handed this clone over to someone who has kept it alive for all these years and not only am I able to smoke it but I'm able to grow it how awesome is that... Back in 2000 I was 14 at the time and I had a subscription to high times that my mom got me and my room walls were covered with bud shots and posters one of them being a centerfold of strawberry cough and it has been something since that day I have yearn for.. as you guys can see she's coming along great and I couldn't be happier... I think in the future I'm not going to train so much because it just takes so much time for the plant to recoup and I'd much rather have a 3-month grow than a 5 month.. but because of what it is I will make an exception this time I don't care if it took 7 months this has been like I said a long time coming... This week marks week 8 of vegetation, and our girls are thriving! Let’s break it down: Growth & Structure All five phenos continue to impress, with strong, bushy growth and uniform structure across the board. They’re praying to the ThinGrowLED Model Ones, which have been running on channel one only, and they’re absolutely loving it. The leaf development is lush and vibrant, a sign that they’re thriving under the current conditions. Environmental Conditions We’re keeping things dialed in with stable environmental parameters: Temperature: 20.7°C Humidity: 57.2% CO2 Levels: 1569 PPM (a bit high but manageable) VPD: 1.05 kPa PPFD: 355 µmol/m²/s Each of these factors plays a crucial role in maximizing plant efficiency, and we’ll go deeper into why these values are set as they are. Featured Grow Gear – WCS2 Substrate Sensor This week, we’re also highlighting part of the grow gear in use—specifically, the WCS2 substrate sensor. This sensor measures: Soil temperature EC levels Water moisture It's currently placed in the Autopots, which are not yet connected. For now, we’re still top-feeding to encourage root expansion. By allowing the roots to reach the bottom of the pots before activating the Autopot system, we ensure they establish a strong foundation for optimal nutrient uptake. We’ll go deeper into this method and why it’s an essential step in the process. Week 5 flowering (a week is 5 days) I lowered the longer branches trying to give as more light as possible to the plants, correct some top branches direction and defoliate a little bit. Both plants keep developing some beautiful flowers with beautiful hairs and trichomes on buds and leaves. This week I started using Overdrive in my feeding blend. Advanced Nutrients for coco professional program (I calculated EC of every single nutrient and made a custom dosage program for every week according to a more realistic EC value - check nutrients in my diary). Plants are doing well, leaves are beautifully green without signs of nutrients burns, excess or deficiencies. They are watered every day in the morning with fertilized water. My daily routine is to correct the training of the branches, removing unwanted popcorn/bottom growth and removing leaves that covers buds and leaves that don’t perform well (i.e.: leaves at the bottom that will not take light). 🌱

Shes a beast, eating well, exploding in growth, continuing with LS training, trying to get her bushy.
