Week 13 for Gigi! Fifth week of flower: Buds are fattening up and trichomes are becoming milky...Guys if you try to grow this genetic, keep in mind this thing: use a good filter! This plant smells a lot and amazingly good 👍 Day 86: Watered properly with all the nutrients. Rh is about 50/55% and temperature 25°C. Day 90: Watered again with half the nutrients. She drinks a lot. Guys, now it's time to talk about the disaster happened with the lamp 3 weeks ago. The lamp crashed on the main branches snapping them...but Gigi simply doesn't give a s*** about it and flowered. First week of flower for this healthy and happy FFT. Really looking forward to Fastbuds releasing the names of these strains, because they all grow very differently. I'm guessing at #8 being cheese, but it will be a complete surprise on all the others. This girl is sitting pretty and taking up her designated space perfectly. A heavy defoliation on F1 opened up some tops to the light. There has been a massive growback in just 3.5 days of flower, as well as a massive stretch. I have all the headroom in the world, so I will let these maximize. All healthy, no spots or bugs, so these are just booming. They will get a final heavy defoliation on F21, and then maintenance plucking to maximize cola exposure.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.

Well look at this little girl growing up in a hurry! Doubled in size this week and starting to branch out nicely. Just ending the veg phase, as I'm seeing pistils starting to pop out all over the place. She's a nice healthy colour, albeit a bit smaller than the other strains but she is just starting flower so should see stretch next few weeks. Very hands off otherwise, just watching her do her thing. Lights hitting 520 umol/s

Very exciting time. Drinking a gallon a day each plant. Three very different geno/phenos. Back left is oily stout Z leaning plant. The biggest plant (right side) is kush mintz leaning with more yield than anything. The 3rd has nice sphere sized bugs coming in. Heavy feeders

So Melon Gum finished. This was not one of my better grows. I had root rot in flowering. This really messed up what she could of done. It was a 17 week grow I still got a harvest. Just changed the solution on the ones in buckets & top fed the seedling in the soilless mix. They're all looking pretty healthy overall but some of the new growth is looking questionable. I will probably use just ph adjusted tap water on the next resoviour change in order to eliminate the risk of they're being a nutrient buildup or some form of toxicity. 🤔Other than that I topped again this week and I'll probably be taking some cutting from this strain on at the next res change. ✂️💉

Week 1 Day 3- 8/14/2023 Everything is right on track, they are looking beautiful and in the praying position all leaves happily lifting towards the light. Week 1 Day 4- 8/15/2023 A little worried today her birth Twin the BA I am growing out is looking great and is raised towards the light and this one is just slightly under.. Will keep an eye on Her. Week 1 Day 5- 8/16/2023 Walked in and the humidity was under 60.... ohh noooooo.. So I added 2 humidifiers to the tent and attached them to my InkBird controller which is set to 62. Also looking at the roots and she has some poking out the bottom but just not in the water yet.. Luckily we are set for 14 days before next water change so the system will stay stable and her sister already has roots in the water so she should only be a day or two behind.. we will just keep tracking but she is delayed. Week 1 Day 6- 8/17/2023 Roots in the Water!!! Huston, we have a successful launch. This grow is on! Humidity was a little low this morning so I refilled the humidifiers. Other than that the temp looks great, the PH looks good, the PPM looks good the plant is in the praying position and all damage from the little drowning from over filling the cloning machine seems to have been fixed. Happy Happy. Week 1 Day 7- 8/18/2023 Yay.. week 1 in the books, roots in the water growth has started. Everything for growth and environment is looking good and on track, there are a couple of mutations with this Lady will keep an eye on those leaves. IMO this grow is going A lot during this week 1 then week 1 of the last grow when I had them drowning. Really excited on how this grow is going to come out.

When I place the steel forks on the stems to keep them from growing up this strain will go all noodle like and bend more fluidly then all the other plants. its like spaghetti or some other pasta related wet noddle thing. Still giving them a 2:1 or 2.5:1 grow vs bloom nutrient. Its helping with some of the pink stems from last week. Feeding strength is up .2 point to reach 900ppm or aorund 1.8EC will leave it here fro the remainder of Veg. Prob will do for 2 more weeks then flip to flower as I just topped them and want to give them some time to recover. NPK ratio of 7-7-14 1:1 equal parts grow/bloom. Grow=8-4-15 Bloom=6-10-14 Boost=1-15-30 "not yet used it yet" Also took some clones from the plants as well, took two main cuttings from each plant, forgot to do the one so its not shown in the first video up the updated clone pics later in the week.
