Week 3 of flower So we had a power outtage due to a storm that came through. Lost power from 10a-6p which is most of my day cycle. So there is that. The plants looks really well. Noticed a bit of spotting so I added some cal/mag with my last watering. Buds are hella frosty you can definitely see the Banana Butter cups coming through. 🌱 Week 3, Day 7 Update: Buds Are Blooming! 🌿 Hey Grow Fam, We're cruising through Week 3, and my girl is really coming on—buds are starting to form, and it's a sight to behold! The girl is growing so fast now, drinking 4.5L a day. She could even do with in-between waterings, in my opinion. She's aiming for the stars and shooting for the moon, getting bigger every day and stinking out my room. I had to tie my light higher up with some rope as it wouldn't go any higher, and shoots were getting way too close! I did SCROG when flipping, and I should've been a bit more strict on it (did it longer), but now I realize why SCROG is used. Imagine if I never used it—she would be way too tall. Overall, I'm so happy with how she is growing and can't wait to see the final product. :) But, as with any journey, we've hit a little bump in the road. Despite keeping our feeding consistent at 850ppm, the runoff readings have been creeping up. Last check-in showed a runoff of 1400ppm. It's got me thinking we might be dealing with a salt buildup in the root zone. To address this, I'm sticking with our feeding routine at 800-850ppm. If the runoff ppm keeps climbing or if our plants start showing signs of nutrient burn, I will adjust accordingly, but as of right now, I'm sticking to the same feed as she looks great! ( If I do begin to notice signs of nutrient burn (excess), I will try to water with a lower EC/PPM, like 700ppms, to bring it down. But if I don't get the results I'm hoping for, I will just flush the plant with 3x the media size of water (just plain pH water) to wash out any old salts and reset the medium. You don't really want to do this with coco depending on what stage your at in flower, veg on the other hand flush.? Sure!, if you really need to reset that medium go for it, (i do see tiny signs of burn but thats fine if it gets worse then i have a problem) Let's stay focused and keep our eyes on the prize—beautiful healthy buds. Week 3 of flower. Plants look great. Trying a few more tops this run, with some upper deleafing. Ive also been running Hydro Bio and ive decided to move the lights down to anout 2ft. Im running 800W of KingBrite LEDs and im hoping for a nice outcome after the upset with the test of bleach for sterilization vs H202. This run the Hydro Bio has microorganisms, so no sterilization needed. PH seems to be more stable and root zones of the vegging plants seem much more white and more of them. Stay tuned!

I have had a very nice journey growing her, she has given a great quality and quantity pf buds, very hard dense flowrs with a clasic strong amnesia smell that I enjoy a lot specially for the happy energetic buzz that provides you.

I loved growing this strain from @Sweet_Seeds! I’ll definitely try their genetics again. She’s beautiful and vigorous and smells amazing with pine and citrus notes that remind me of my time in Colorado. My best grow yet.

Start of week 8,flowering, looking for amber trickomes,took off a branch at day 52, trickomes,were mostly milky some clear. I want to know the sweet spot for this girl if you know what I mean. I will post other pics of early cut latter. Also I switched to blue spectrum light only, supposedly it gets more UV light and packs on more resin(higher T H C ) ,Not that it needs more, but in the name of science I am willing to put in the extra effort. 🔎😎

I don't know where to start and I must admit I'm completely overwhelmed by this beautiful beautiful plant ❤️❤️❤️ Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah, I'm so happy 😍😍😍 She is a blessing! Excuse the outburst, but she is magical ☀️ I applaud you guys at Humboldt for creating such a wonderful strain 🙌 Some details upfront, before I rave some more: - 134 Days in total: 70 Days in Veg, 64 Days in Flower with 128W LED in a 60x60x160cm tent - 7 Days Drying regularly, 9 Days Drying in the Fridge - 432g - Wet weight with stems - 103g of those for Fresh Harvest Infused Oil - 190ml Olive oil with 30mg/ml THC & CBD - approx. 20g dry (for dry weight calc.) - 87g for the DrZiggy's Low And Slow Drying in the fridge - 20g dry - 242g for regular Drying @50% RH and 22°C - 55g dry - 30g dried sticky trim in the freezer Summary of my growing experience with this strain: She takes well to massive training and a little neglect in the beginning, meaning she recovers well, which is what I want 😊 I didn't experience any major deficiencies. She had a little nitrogen deficiency during the later veg phase, which she showed with lighter green leaves. I blame this on my long veg time and my pot size of only 11l. She consumed all her soil and nutes by the end of veg. I will keep that in mind for my next grow. Since I increased my nitrogen levels so close to flowering phase, I overdid it a little on the nitrogen which showed a little bit during later flowering phase with downwards clawing leaves. So I will be more careful with nitrogen especially while transitioning into Flower. I did not flush this plant and she smokes already beautifully mild after only a couple of days of curing. Drying her took 7 days in the tent and 9 days in the fridge. She crusted up with lots of stickiness while drying and gave off a good bit of scissor hash & kief when trimming. Smoking her is a great and different experience to me. It's my first time with a 1:1 strain and I can definitely notice the CBD content. She shows in a very well balanced body high with a slight and gentle knock on the THC door. The first couple of days I felt a craving for higher THC which settled down after only a couple of days. Very interesting and definitely worth growing. So you guessed right, I totally recommend growing this beauty. Especially if you are interested in exploring a 1:1 THC:CBD strain with all its magical medicinal values 🙏 Why I grew this strain: Like @Experimentgreen on here, I grew this strain for my Mama ❤️ She is open minded to trying to solve some of her health issues with these beautiful plants and the magic they bring but she also likes to have a bit of fun, she doesn't mind. So a 1:1 strain was quite handy. She suffers from neuropathic pain, arthritis in her joints, restless legs and insomnia. All very relatable issues and perfectly suitable to be introduced to some good CBD and THC content. She already has a little tolerance, since she is treating her restless legs with gummi bears I made with a strength of 1.5mg/gummi bear. This small dose already helps her on a daily for her restless legs. Beautiful 😍 So with this special mission in mind, I wanted to process the plant with only the very best options and create Cannabis Oil (Capsules) for my Mom to take. I chose a method called "Fresh Harvest Infused Cannabis oil" by the wonderful member SweetSue over at 420magazine: https://www.420magazine.com/community/threads/fresh-harvest-infused-cannabis-oil.363371/ I hope it's ok to relink, no need to duplicate already existing and well researched content, right? I will not go into detail and def. recommend reading through the whole thread. I only document the short version here, but feel free to ask me, I'm happy to share my experience. The oil I made has 30mg/ml of THC and CBD. That's a good value. I calculated the strength the following: 75g fresh Flower in 200ml Olive Oil - with 10% CBD&THC 85% extraction efficiency with the infusion method 85% * 10% THC&CBD = 0.0850 0.0850 * 75g = 6.375 gram of available THC & CBD 6.375gram * 1000 = 6375mg/THC 6375mg/CBD 6375mg/200ml = 31.875mg/ml CBD & THC I created capsules with 3mg per capsule. We are currently trying to find the right dose for her. She started taking one capsule 60-90min before bed for 3 days now and will increase by 1 capsule tonight. We continue until a max dose of 15mg/day but always re-evaluate how she feels. She's documenting her experience quite cute. Very heartwarming and powerful. So far she sleeps better and she falls asleep faster, which she hadn't done in a long while. Onset is pretty precisely between 60 and 90 minutes. She has not had any restless legs so far. I'm excited for her and can't wait to see where this takes us. I also made her a salve/creme she uses as a topical on her joints. When she uses it early enough, before the big pain hits, she feels it helps. Of course this is not a science study and everything is purely based on personal experience. I thought I share, in case anyone is interested, also I want to give back a little, since I consume so much knowledge from all over the internet, including here, so thanks 🙏

Esta noche se ven creciendo con gran vigorosidad estas cepas Chilenas Pure Inferno y Bloodnana, actualmente estas mitad de la semana 4, desde sus 2 hojas reales. las nenas se alimentas bien y se ven felices actualmente se da alimenta con fertilizante Advance nutrients. Veremos como se ven las ultimas semana antes de tirarlas a floración. en riego, se da una vez por semana advance nutriens y 2 solo agua sola. las mas grandes tienen 4 semanas. la mediana tiene 3 semana. la mas pequeña tiene 2 semana. se tiran a flora en un total de 6 semanas a 7. PH:6.3 EC:750

11/10 Week 7 Long week Maggie is responding well to treatment, will continue until I see something that says its gone far enough. I know she needs defoliation but I just hate to take health(ish) leaves when its already stressed. Maybe next week air flow is good. May add some sulfer to the mix but keeping it as is otherwise, 6.8 PH, 1-2% H2O2 and CalMag in a day or two as she drys. Brandy... not sure it did as much for her but see nothing that says stop so will continue as the pot drys. Layla ya got me on my knees... shes my girl. lovely not perfect but has handled things that left other plants stunted and yellowed. Were she a photo I would have cloned her. Continuing feeding as I have, may add Karo may not, defoliation continues as needed. May this continue God willing and the creek dont rise. Last note - Raised the lights up 4 inches to 22" for better dispersal across the canopy now that its getting used. Think this strain likes that. 11/11 Looking better. Did some defoliation on Maggie, nothing stressing and mostly damaged leaves though some were for blocking bud sites Same on Brandy though less so. Picking up some chemical bloom nuets so I can continue lightly feeding them through these treatments, the organics are getting blasted by the h2o2 Layla looking her usual lovely self, buds building, her and Maggie get fed today, Brandy still too wet. 11/12 Brandy still not dry enough, may adopt the feeding I set out for Maggie below when it is time. Changing the treatment on Maggie, for one feed only dropping the calmag and adding two TBS of Epson salts , fish sh!t and recharge to get the bug healthy, and continue the cocotek nuets for the time being, it the only mineral fert I have, to the water at 6.5 PH . Believe the H2O2 has done all its going to do repairing the roots and now I can address the sulfur (i hope) issue. Plant is huge BTW so if I get her producing, yield is going to be huge. IF Layla just continue as before, the Dr Earth is doing a marvelous job of covering all the bases. Will absolutely use this when I go back to organics. Had to reset the lights again... Maggie :) 11/13 New Pics of Maggie as she is the only one causing me concern, no feed today still too wet Defoliated bottom 1/3 of Maggie getting rid of all unwanted under growth. Will continue as it goes. Large leaves looking normal now. 11/14 Feeding time: Maggie and Brandy - 1 gal at 6.5 1.5 TBS Epsom Salt (decided to hit the middle), 5ml cocotek A&B , 6ml Fish Sh!t holding the recharge for next time. Layla - 1 gal at 6.5 5ml Cal Mag , 5ml Bio-Bloom, 5ml Fish Sh!t Getting a bit of height growth on Maggie. Expect more if we are right on this. Decided to hold off a mag/Sulfur foliar until tomorrow if needed. New Vid posted few minutes post feed. Maggie was a bit dry as she is really drinking 11/15 New Vid Foliar feed of 1.5 TBS Epsom Salt / gal unPH water on Maggie primarily though also hit Layla and Brandy. Only the very top of the colas now have the paleness so progress.

have had some temperature problems with the change of the season but i think im dialed in now. this first run really has been trial and error. but so far the buds are swelling nicely. zkittles has more bud sites, and is taller and bushier. blue dream buds are already bigger than zkittles

Sorry I have not updated in some time. A lot of the missed time was me recovering from hand surgery. In this time, I was not able to move plant and tend to them. Then, at the start of the new year, GD was acting horrible. It would allow some updates and then reject others. Luckily it was still allowing harvest updates. The flower has a strawberry berry smell. Strawberry flower is my favorite. It is super frosty, and smells delicious. I did lose half of the canopy during flowering. As it was too close to the fan. Causing it to l wind burned a lot and ate away at the plant as it grew. She did alright for what I could do 1 handed. Week 10 So last week I had CalMag problem, you can still see it on her leaves, she was really stunted - not drinking, yellow/brown spots on leaves. Right now it seems under control. What did I change? First of all I looked up, seems like CalMag is best absorbed with pH 6.5-7.2 or something, so one of the mistakes was pH too low - changed it to 6.5-6.8. I think it all started, when I experimented and gave too much nutrients it got “lock out”. That’s why I then flushed it 2 times with only water + calmag at pH 6.8-7 and from then on strictly giving nutrients only according to the table that’s given by Terra Aquatica. Seems like it picked up again, not seeing any new yellow/brown spots. The buds are huge, smell is great, I hope I can farm soon. Do you guys/gals have any tips? (On late flower/drying/curing)
