This past week has been a struggle. I keep my plants on the balcony during the day and in the grow box during night and I inspect every single of their leaves everytime I move them in or out. A few days ago I noticed some kind of microscopic egg on one of her flowers and then some sort of parasites under her leaves. Since then: panic. I searched for the name of the parasite (acarus) and bought some neem oil which I applied manually on every leaf (to prevent it from going on the flowers) and onto the ground. Since then the parasites are almost gone. But now she has these "sad" leaves, with their points bent down and the margins as well.. I've read different explanations, but I think in my it might be the high temperature and the overwatering, together with the dammed fungus flies. I'll keep going with the neem oil and diminish the water. Apart from all this, her flowers are still growing and producing so much resin🤤

Very delicate strain, weak and quite particular ...Maybe he's not even a fan of slightly higher temperatures ... We'll wait for them to dry to find out more 😉🤗

6/5 Starting week 5 The girls are drinking more quickly. So today I watered and fed using TPS1 Circle has just passed Gaia in height. From Friday 6/2 she grew 6 inches from 22 to 28 she got 3 liters Gaia grew from 24 to 26" she got 4 liters 6/7 Circe is growing like a weed (heehee) and quickly passed Gaia. Circe is 31" Gaia 27". Gaia mother is the stereo type mom large hips and flowing tresses while Circe is the willow-of-the-wisp free spirit so true for a healer. Today I flushed all the plants with 1 gallon of filtered water to remove any buildup of nutrients. Hopefully, since I've cut way back on fertilizer, they are getting what they need. The other two Cream Caramel and Gelato 41 are short and remain on the crates to keep them within 30 inches from the light. At 6/9 they are 11 inches. 6/9 water and feeding day. Circe and Gaia both drink 4 liters of water each feeding. Circe grew 3 more inches She is now 34.5. Gaia has stopped growing at 27.5 inches, Gelato 41 is 12 inches (lst) and Cream Caramel 13. These are AFRO girls. Short, Squat and Very bushy. So many leaves, I may have to trim out some large fans to give light to the bud sites. I put mirrors under their canopies to increase light penetration. My mom and dad met and married in post WWII Japan and spent several years there. Mom taught the children of the officers and diplomats but she was also a life-long learner. Her interest were cultural, religious spiritual, music and art. She studied Sumee, Japanese painting, ikebana, flower arranging, and cooking. Some of her Sumee art shown is in week 2. I tried different religions and over the years learned, that while there are many religions, they basically say the same thing. I choose spiritually and oneness with nature rather than the structured sermons of the church services I attended in my youth. Education was emphasized since my mom was a teacher and my dad an officer. My early education was in private schools since I tested above the grade level in public school. My education was fundamental reading, writing, arithmetic. science and art until I went to college. My Dad had the greatest influence on my interests in science and math. In college I studied psychology & biology and wanted to be a doctor. While I was very smart, I really didn't want to continue 12 more years of school for a medical degree. I switched my major of study to business and focused on accounting. More soon. I hope you are enjoying Alphonse Mucha's art nouveau representation of my goddesses. increasing nutrient doses, monitoring EC and pH doesn't bear fruit, I think. Training also takes its toll and the girls flourish. We will continue to feed and observe... Second half of week brings quite intensive growth. Continue with LST, because need light penetration and some leaves out with same purpose. What does next days bring? I am exciting...

First attempt LST tie down stems on Gelato 41. I decided to try lst on Gelato 41 since she charged out of the gate full force and was taller than the other sprouts. From the side view, the node structure is very close. I thought since she was shooting up so quickly, there would be more space between them. Week4 I was using thin wire pins for the last. I had to switch to 1/2 garden pins to hold down the stems. As you can see she is very short and bushy. The tight node Structive is indicative of indica dominance. Lots of leaves. Looks like an afro hair do. Pic 5/24, 5/27, 6/2. Put mirrors under the canopy to add more light 6/5. Start week 5 water feed. Check pins as her stems are strong and push the pins up. 6/7 water & feed 6/9 water & feed 6/11 water & feed 6/13 water & feed light deformation 6/16 1 gal flush Gelato 41 She's the last gal in the tent to start flower. Nothing yet. 6/25 pics 6/26 took her out of the tent today and put her outside. She is one of my Afro girls. I See flowers today. 2 months after the seed popped the soil. I thought she was an auto but maybe fast photo. I will say that she is very bushy. Because of the LST, she has an even canopy with at least 20 or more tops. 7/9 pics. She has acclimated to outside very well. It's hot and humid and we have had lots of rain. Her colas have shot up in bud formation. This plant has thin leaves.much different from most other strains I've grown 7/12 more pics showing LST tie down and bud development 7/22 more pics 7/30 outside girls.
