This week I'm showing you the harvest of the second of the two London Pound Cakes, which was trained with a Mainfolding method, but without any LST bending. Technique Used: We did the first topping at the 5th internode, as per the manual (beforehand, we're talking about microgrowing; the plant can stay short, but it's advisable not to wait that long for autoflowers, for example). We created the Mainfolding by trimming everything after the topping, leaving only the two small branches. We let them grow for three internodes and then topped them twice more. We got several good buds, similar in appearance and of excellent quality. I only trimmed the one that seemed a bit off, a faded greenish color that wasn't getting much light. The plant is truly beautiful; it has opened up like a bush, nice and plump, and the flowers are firm and firm with a distinct sweet aroma that suggests a fantastic taste, something that's not at all obvious these days. Pot and Soil - This plant was grown in a 20-liter pot with Plagron's BioLight Mix organic soil, which gave us a solid start, and then we proceeded to fertilize. Lighting/PPFD - A Zamnesia Phytonaut 480W LED lamp was used from mid-flowering until fruiting. We achieved a PPFD (photosynthetically active photon flux density) between 800 and 1200 μmol/m²/s, with a cycle of 24 hours, then 23 hours, then 20 hours, and finally 18 hours. All with CO2, which mitigates the effects of heat and excessive light. Trichhomes: We still have a good amount of amber trichomes, starting at 30%. There are several 40-45% opaque and transparent trichomes. In this case, we've gone much further than usual in terms of maturity because the plant is indica-dominant, and we need and want to bring out its characteristics, even at the risk of some oxidation (the amber color is caused by oxidation. Don't fall into the common mistake of thinking that all or a majority of amber is needed; the harvest window opens at 15%, and you don't need a lot of amber, especially if the plants are sativa). I'm back for another update this week! It hasn't been a very busy week this week, the veg area is vegging and the flower area is on its last week before harvest. I've been taking very small cuttings (about .1 gram) and scoping the trikes using a 45x desktop microscope. Ethos: Lilac Diesel #22 (x) Grandpa's Cookies #7- This seedling is still doing well and branching out keeping a "v" shaped branch formation, thinner long leaves and decently far spaced nodes. It is still the tallest plant in the whole garden now standing at 19 inches tall. It's top four branches are beginning to develop smaller branches from them. HSO/ Giest Grow: Tow Truck- Unfortunately the Tow Truck showed signs of being a male. Last week I had assumed it was a male. But this week I was able to call it for certain. I don't have the space to keep any males, so I went ahead and cut it down. This diary will now be for the Ethos Seedling! It is feminized so it will surely go to the flower room with the Raspberry Ripple plants it shares a tent with. Raspberry Ripple Clones (#1 and #2)- These veg clones are still spreading out with branching decently. The #2 Phenos hit 12 inches in height and received their topping. So now all plants in the clone tent have been topped once. Flower Tent (Raspberry Ripple #1 and #2)- It is currently day 67 Flower, Under the HLG Blackbird. I went ahead and dimmed it down one level. I let my buddy use my PAR meter for a few days. But I'd assume it's probably about 450-700 PPFD on most top sites. I've assessed the trichomes today and last week. Most are getting cloudy but I'm gonna wait just a few more days, to push into some amber coverage. A lot of the #2 pheno top sites are now leaning over and being fully supported by the trellis. The little branches just couldn't support the massive flowers it grew. One of the #2 plants is still holding strong and standing tall. But 2/3 are pretty much fully supported by the trellis. The number one phenos are once again super thick stalked, with thick branches. One of the #1 plants, looks like it completely bottomed out this week. Most of its leaves are completely faded. The other plant of the #1 Phenos is much more bright and vibrant. There are still some straggling white pistil hairs left on the #1s but they are still changing color by the day. The girls are developing properly, frosting is beginning to be clearly visible.Also the smell has become clear and very intense.White Widow X Big Bud is the most noticeable.From today, the girls are switching to a different spectrum of light, UV light will be added.

Humidity in basement FINALLY hit 40% this morning. Within 5 days it should be 30-35% residual basement and 45% tent for a good residual humidity. The hand shot has my fingers and palm forward from the bud tip, the bud tip is actually past my hand but it's nearly impossible to get a perfect shot with my arm in the tent and my other one far out trying to take a photo i can't see. The Tropicanna Popcorn nugs are already bigger than my thumb... gonna be fun in 4 weeks to see bud finishing sizes Wedding Cake - Cherry HubbaBubba smell Tropicanna Glookies - Pink Bubblegum with a strawberry like hint peaking through. Tomorrow is feeding. Today is just emptying water from buckets from dehumidifier. *knock on wood* it's easy streak from here on out... 35~ days roughly left. here we grow!! *** Update *** Took some measurements. Wedding cake is monstrous already. Upto 1.5 inch wide, 14inch long (it was longer than the 12" ruler). Popcorn nugs on Tropicanna Glookies already 1inch wide 3 inch long at the top. Beaaautiful. Slow and steady from here on out. ----- Day 31 ----- Beautiful as usual. Fattening up nicely. 1200 ppm 6.4 pH 23 Liters If anyone is wondering why I switched to Blackstrap Molasses I put up the Nutrition Facts.. in 20 grams you have carbohydrates, potassium, Calcium, Iron, B6 Vitamin, Magnesium, Zinc.. and that's only the "significant" nutrients (Human based for that picture) It also contains micro traces of copper and more. pH is quite nice too, with the nutrient regiment i'm on, it finishes itself at 6.4pH so I don't have to manipulate it with pH up/down... Loving everything so far. Humidity in basement was 39% today, SO damn close. Tent closed at lights on (highest residual humidity point) was at 48% ... woo hoo 3% more to go!!! ------ Day 32 ------ Wow. Wedding Cake larger buds I can't even wrap my hand around.. These buds are going to be mooooonstrous. Humidity was under 40% in basement, tent was 48% this morning. Great news for me. Easy day, pretty much standard operating procedures from here on out.. feed, drain dehumidifier, strengthen stems by shaking plants, open/close tents... rinse repeat. Both plants are amazing, great genetics so far regarding bud structure building/plant size. ----- Day 33 ----- 47.5% residual humidity Fed at 1150ppm 6.4pH 23L Everything's perfect, 30~ days left. ----- Day 34 ----- 48% humidity in tent, i'm a happy camper. Everything's perfect. Bulk has started, front right Tropicanna Glookies had double in thickness and diameter top buds of most stems. Wedding cake 14 inch stem I've named Big Bertha. Excited to watch her fatten up on the couch so-to-speak. I'm now on autopilot. Fed yesterday while half asleep, didn't even remember doing it. Thank god I take pics of ppm/pH before every feeding for data. One more feeding this week before week 6 happens tomorrow. This week Liquid Koolbloom ends, KoolBloom Dry begins for maximum bulk on week 6 first feeding (2 days into week 6) ----- Day 35 ----- Last day of week 5!!! Fed at 1150ppm 6.4ph 23L Plants are perfect, humidity is great. Smell is RAMPED up now. Strong candy weed smell.

Happy girls. Buds swelling nicely. Got the frosties poppin off. They’re loving the fish shit. The GWK passed DG in height this week and just starting her buds. Week 5 for her.

I'm happy with the progress they have made, all have responded well to defoliation and LST. I'll be adding a few more light nutrients at some point this week. The gorilla zkittles is shorter than the rest but looks very sturdy and has plenty of bud showing already, I think this is because it started flowering maybe 7days before the rest and in them 7days the rest shot up rapidly! I'll update daily and try get some nice videos with lights out.

They seemed to drink a lot this week, the environment is stable, and the girls seem to be having a blast. I've checked them throughout and all appeared to be female. Happy growing growmiees

Not much to report this week. Buds keep getting fatter and still producing new white pistills. Going to tie the side branches as well as they almost bent to the ground.

Tonight on growfessor theatre, 4x4 edition, 4 ladies get fed and defoliated! Green Crack, LSD and Mandarin dreams are in the home stretch, this is their last feeding before flushing.
