Week 3 :)

Start of day 63 hereNot much that I can mess up just flushing with r/o water PH 6.4. However I've learned a lot over the last couple of weeks, thanks to all the great advice and photos in every diary here. My big lessons are that you add nutes at a considerably lesser rate than recommended, in my case especially since I amend my grow medium. Also add all nures in the correct order and ph before finally adding any innoculent such as my home made lactobacillus. I'm working on the don't over water in veg thingy. I learned that I really need more distance on the lights in bloom, as I finally raised them 2 inches a few days ago and have probably doubled the size of yield by doing that alone, they literally jumped up. Finally, well so far I see from a lot of other diaries that I've been wasting a ton of space, so I will try a SoG on my next grow to get a better yield. Checked the trychomes this morning , mostly still frosty a few opaque no amber. Allright thanks again and leave a couple for seed. Day 66 getting close, may harvest tomorrow. I took 2 plants to my brother and he was impressed enough to order some MARS HYDRO and such. We put the 2 plants I gave him in the yard until he gets a closet setup. So my harvest will just be 2 plants. But hey, I'm no longer his gardner haha. Posted a few pics the trychomes today are starting to turn. Happy happy. Day 69 we drove by a dead skunk today and my wife started waving her hand in front of her nose while lowering the window. I couldn't smell a thing. So I guess that's why I clicked, smells normal.

📅 Week 11 | 🗓️ Day 71–77 Day 77 – Week 3 til 4 of flower 🌸Papayton 🏀 🔸This week the girls really started packing it on. Buds are swelling up nicely, calyxes are stacked, and those creamy white pistils are shooting out everywhere like little antennas. The sugar leaves are already frosting up heavy – trichomes glisten under the light, and you can tell the resin production is kicking into high gear. Colas are shaping up, and it’s clear where the big towers are gonna form. 🔸The foliage continues to look healthy: a rich green color with no signs of over-fertilization, no claws, and no noticeable deficiencies. The sugar leaves are already well coated with resin, which is a very good sign. The pictures show that the flower structure is growing compactly and vigorously—the plant is in full flow. I will give her BIO PK again for the next watering. She looks like she could use a little more. 🔸The SANlight is now running constantly at 100% with a distance of approx. 35 cm (approx. 1000 PPFD). To ensure that it produces more heat, I have positioned it slightly higher. The leaves appear relaxed and show no signs of stress. The climate remains stable, albeit slightly cool, during the day I achieve almost perfect values of 1.4-1.6 VPD, slightly less on very cool days., but the flowers look very fresh and compact as a result. Good air circulation ensures that the fine resin heads do not become damp. Climate is right in the sweet spot too: 📈 average daily values 🌡️ Temp = 25 - 26 °C 💨 Humidity = 50 - 55 % 🌬️ VPD = 1.40 - 1,60 kPa That’s pretty much perfect – low enough RH to keep mold away, but still comfy for the plants. Fans are running on level 5, dehu is on for more temp. All in all, a super stable week. Plants are cruising, stacking, and starting to pack on that frost. First week of 12|12 and the girls are craving for light and space

With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6, 9, & 11 Fractal is a vigorous gal and gets very bushy after defoliation & training. Divine Seeds recommends keeping its Fractal profile wider and flatter. To achieve this, I am aggressively pinning down each branch coming off the main stalk while defoliating regularly to keep the top open. Today she has a beautiful, mounded canopy showing multiple bud sites. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. They remain even and balanced. Skywalker OG — Harvest / Trim / Cure Part 2 — More Giants Enter The Galaxy First of all, once again, apologies for dividing this Skywalker OG harvest series into multiple parts. But honestly… there is simply too much happening here to compress everything into one single report without losing the individuality of these plants. This is not just one harvest. This is: * multiple giant plants * multiple phenotypic expressions * hundreds of photos * countless observations * trimming sessions * drying progression * resin collection * and eventually smoke reviews still to come So instead of rushing through it, we decided to properly catalogue this run the way it deserves. And honestly? These girls earned that respect. ⸻ Quick Recap — The 12/12 Galaxy This entire project was grown: 12/12 from seed with very little intervention. No heavy training. No aggressive shaping. No topping. Mostly: * gentle canopy opening * leaf tucking * minor defoliation * and allowing the plants themselves to naturally decide their structure And once again, this run keeps proving something fascinating: 12/12 from seed does not necessarily create huge tall plants… …but it can create incredibly efficient plants. Compact. Dense. Heavy. Productive. The only true giant-height exception in the room was the Ghost Train Haze that nearly reached two meters. But these Skywalker OG girls? They stayed more compact vertically while transforming themselves into absolute flower-producing machines. And honestly? That efficiency became ridiculous toward the end. ⸻ Heavy Enough To Collapse At this stage, all three plants reached the point where their own flower weight became difficult to manage. The branches simply cannot support themselves anymore. Support or no support… these girls are collapsing under pure mass. And honestly? That’s the kind of “problem” growers love having. Huge swollen colas. Dense flower stacking. Rock-solid buds. Resin everywhere. Exactly the type of structure that makes trimming both exciting and slightly terrifying at the same time. Because you already know: these are going to become extremely dense once fully dried. ⸻ Frost, Density & Structure One thing that keeps standing out over and over again with these Skywalker OG plants is the combination of: * density * frost * and sheer flower volume The flowers are not only big… they are compact. Very compact. The kind of buds where simply pressing lightly already tells you: “This is going to dry into rock-solid flower.” And visually? Absolutely beautiful. Bright swollen calyxes. Heavy trichome coverage. Long sugar leaves curling outward. Beautiful late-flower fading tones appearing everywhere. Every branch feels loaded. Top flowers. Middle flowers. Lower flowers. No wasted space. ⸻ Perspective & Scale We also wanted people to properly understand the actual size of these plants. Because sometimes photos alone can be deceptive. So throughout this session we kept including: * hands beside colas * Mr. Baggy appearances * hats * studio comparisons * and even the JBL speaker for scale references And honestly… some of these flowers make normal objects look small. These are serious colas. Not exaggerated internet “looks big in the photo” flowers. Actually big. Actually heavy. Actually difficult to hold comfortably after a while. ⸻ Mr. Baggy Continues His Internship Of course… Mr. Baggy stayed with us through the entire process again. At this point he’s basically part of the harvest crew. Always supervising. Always present. Always emotionally supporting the trimming sessions. And honestly? The studio moments with: * giant plants * giant colas * cameras * lights * resin-covered gloves * and Mr. Baggy sitting there in the middle of the chaos… became part of the memory of this run itself. ⸻ Charas — Living Resin One thing we absolutely loved once again during harvest was the amount of resin immediately collecting onto the gloves while handling fresh flowers. The moment fan leaves started coming off: * resin buildup started * fingers became sticky * gloves became greasy * and naturally… charas started forming again. And honestly, we really enjoy talking about charas because many people still don’t fully understand what it is. Charas is one of the oldest forms of cannabis resin collection in the world. Traditionally associated especially with regions of India and Nepal, charas is made by gently rubbing fresh living or freshly harvested cannabis flowers between the hands to collect the resin directly. Historically and spiritually, charas has deep connections with: * traditional medicine * spiritual rituals * Himalayan culture * and even Lord Shiva himself in many traditions. And honestly? There’s something incredibly beautiful about it. Because unlike dry sift or cured trimming resin… this is living resin. Fresh resin. Still full of life, moisture, oils, and volatile aromatic compounds. That’s why we personally separate this experience mentally from the later finger hash collected during dry trimming. Both are beautiful. But fresh charas feels: * softer * richer * oilier * more alive * and incredibly expressive terpene-wise This Skywalker OG produced amazing charas too. Dark. Greasy. Sticky. Easy to collect. The kind of resin that instantly tells you: “These plants are loaded.” ⸻ Full Plant Drying Just like the first plant, these girls are now drying whole. Entire plants hanging intact. We personally love this drying style because it slows the process slightly and helps preserve: * terpenes * moisture balance * aroma * and overall cure quality The drying conditions remain: First couple of days: * ~45% RH to help remove the heavier surface moisture from these extremely dense flowers. Then afterward: Remaining drying phase: * ~60% RH * 18–20°C for roughly: 7–10 days depending on how these massive flowers release moisture internally. Because honestly… with buds this dense, patience becomes extremely important. ⸻ Looking Ahead — Trimming Begins Soon The next reports will most likely focus heavily on: trimming And honestly? We already know these sessions are going to be intense. Because these plants are absolutely packed with: * dense flowers * resin * swollen calyxes * and heavy branching So yes… this series may realistically become: four parts or maybe even five. Grüßt euch Freunde, Langsam kommen wir ans Ende der 5 Woche! Habe in dieser Woche keinen Bio grow zugeführt und eine Verbesserung festgestellt. Dafür wurde top Max angehoben und Bio Bloom. Fahre im weiteren Verlauf nun wieder nach Düngeschema fort. Viele der Blätter verfärben sich rötlich und die Blattspitzen der sugarleafs sind lila. Hoffe dass, das dann später auch im Produkt sichtbar ist. Sind also noch einige Wochen zu gehen, Bis dahin euch allen eine gute Woche !💚

Hey there! Welcome to this diary! I made it easy back in 2021. Sorry in advance for the Spanish audio. For my germination method I always use both the glass of water and the paper towel. Let me explain, the glass of water only goes for 6 to 12 hrs, it's just a soak that also contains 3-4 drops of hydrogen peroxide, this way we kill all pathogens that the seed may have on the outside. Then to a warm, moist and dark place with the paper towel, this seed sprouted pretty fast using this method. Then, once it has that tiny mouse tail of it goes to the pot, I keep it moist by putting a transparent cup upside down. Just to keep the dates, it just took from the 17th to the 19th to go from the cup with water, to the paper tower, to the soil, AND SPROUT!!

First week of veg and all 3 are growing at the same pace. Will try to monitor and bend if one of then grows freakishly tall for some reason.

This is week 13 and the cookies is still maturing I have harvested the top half because they were ready I've still got half a plant to go. I've never had any purple on my buds it seems to be happing to both plants in there so I'm not sure if it's the slightly colder temps at night can't wait to cut the rest down very pleased of how this one has gone should hit a good Oz and a half maybey two these buds are my fattest yet

That’s impressive. This strain is amazing. Couldn’t be happier. Will keep going with this nutrient schedule until the two Royal Highness grow a bit more. I should do some LST asap because there are lot of hidden and trapped leaves under the bigger ones. Update: Did some LST to uncover the hidden leaves. I’m just a bit scared about how big she will get after this.
