Day 77 - Was her last day. To be truthful she wasn't 100% ready going on the trichomes but needs must and the other photoperiod girls need their space now. It's crazy how my own personal ability has changed over the years. Blackberry is a strain I've grown every 12 months roughly, GrowDiaries is a fab place to track your learning. Looking back through my old grows I must have been mad to think they were ready to harvest! Way too early! Maybe that's the biggest thing I've learned - patience. Don't be too eager to chop, there is a lot to be gained extending by 2 or 3 weeks... Anyway, back to this girl. She has been chopped and trimmed. Have a look thru the pics, if you see a piece of black tape on the stem the apex bud on that branch was BACKBUILT. I have to say the technique REALLY does work. Those buds look fatter and denser than the others that have been left natural. It seems effective to be done about halfway through flowering, but no later than 3/4 of the way. FINAL UPDATE: So after 2 weeks in the drying net she weighed out to 87.81g. Not a great deal but she was compromised by the photoperiod plants she shared the tent with. It wasn't the full purple phenotype like I had twice before but still she looks pretty.

26/02/19 It's now been a week since my 3 plants sprouted into this life, the seedlings are going very well apart from 2 seedlings toppling, hopefully I've saved them from digging them in deeper. One seems to have stunted though. Have fed them their first grow feed which was 0.5ml of Kalong Grow and 0.1ml of Rootbastic mixed into 1l of leached tapwater then divided into 3 parts each per pot. I'll do a mid-week update, nothing like the long read I wrote for the 1st week. Another steady week of bud development. I haven't really done much with those apart from the occasional removal of yellow leaves and tucking nuisance leaves under the net. The plants are all still growing in line with the previous expectations, with Topping and LST being the biggest, Mainlined next and then LST only in last place. It will be interesting to see the results though. Should only be a few more weeks until harvest, as a large majority of trichomes are already milky.

It is now week 5 and i did some lst on day 30 and i have topped the end and also the first two branches that came out 3-4 days ago. The plant have very very low odor right now, you can only smell it if you are doing something on it otherwise it's okay. I've also decided as i don't have much space i will let them both grow in this 7.5l pot. If you have time leave some tips that can help me for my frist grow. Thanks :) Edit: I think on day 28 or 29 (im not sure) i did some topping for fun on the 2 of the branches that are comming out second from the bottom to the top. I did this to see how they will grow compared to non topped ones. Edit: On day 31 i saw these little new branches comming out and growing really fast. Edit: On day 34 i did some LST on new branches that are comming out.

14 days in flower exactly and they are really filling in the space now, plenty of heads on each plant and the centre catchin up nicely.

March 3rd, 2019. The plants are 28 days old today. Growing well. They are well in early flower now. Began LST and did just a small amount of defoliating. They had Azos mixed with Mykos on day 26, will probably feed tomorrow depending on moisture, if not the next day for sure. They just look great. March 8th, 2019 - 33 days old. Was a big grow week. Both plants doing great. They had a full feeding Tuesday and today they got a good solid flushing. They are starting to smell pretty good. If you look closely at the cola shot, you can just see Trichomes starting to form. Lord knows what they will look like in 4 weeks. About 16 to 17 inches tall, really heavy branches, leaves look great, nice beautiful green.

4th day in flower here, plants have doubled in size since a week or so ago. Once again very nice healthy colour to the girls really impressed so far, not a hint of stress shown from the plants at all, very hungry the soil is becoming dry everyday they just take everything I give them.
