Gelato #2 has gotten so big that I'm afraid of burning the tips. Gelato #1 is already developin' beautiful round dense buds covered with trichomes.

The ladies are doing great and growing well. I'm really happy with the progress so far. They have now reached 60 cm. I plan to install the Scrog net within the next few days to allow them to grow wider.

What is good fellow gardeners, So our jungle tour has come to an end and what can I say, it was a joyful ride in all ways. It had it’s ups and downs like many of my other grows but I still think growing is the best hobby. This last week we let the last two girls ripen completely and at the end of the week we harvested them. This time the drying took place in several stages, which turned out to be a good idea. First we hung them up for 3 days with leaves then trimmed and let them dry again for another 8 days. The scents and aromas were preserved in their perfect state which was the basis for the later smooth smoke experience. After an overall problem-free vegetative stage, there were some minor hiccups during the flowering period. We lost quite a few large flowers due to bud rot. The oscillation function of the fan broke precisely during the last critical period of flowering, which could obviously have contributed to this. There was a slight light leak at the zipper which may have caused stress to the first two plants. That’s why they had to be taken down 2 weeks earlier than the other two. Trichomes were fully milky with a few clear so wasn’t a big issue tho. This two showed similar characteristics in terms of taste and bud structure. A sweet and spicy taste with a hint of chocolate. Buds are dense and rock hard. One pheno turned out deep purple and had a bit slightly burnt sweet fruit cake taste. Buds are solid and rock hard. The last pheno is more spongy yet hard but not really compact. This one has the most sweet and fruity taste with a well balanced high. I would recommend this strain for those who loves fruity varieties. However sometimes can be hard to manage during flowering. Thanks to everyone who joined us for this jungle trip. Well, it's finally time for an update, right? And for a newbie like me this week has been quite eventful! 😲 After last week's "Helmet Head" (which I suppose was my fault for not burying the seed deep enough 😱) her leaves started to look twisty, Honestly don't know why that happened but my three hypothesis are: because that's just the way she is, because I didn't properly bury the seed or I made a mistake somewhere else. However I also think she looks pretty and this makes her look quite "special" 👍. In her 6-7th day after sprouting I noticed her leaves started to look even more twisty and she was about to outgrow her cup. I worried and decided that it was the right moment to transplant her. At first I didn't know "how" to do it and all I knew is that I could shock her if I did it wrong (which worried me haha 😨). None of the sites I checked really specified any kind of information regarding how I should prepare the medium for the new plant (just some vague information here and there) so I came with the idea to just water it bit and then "massage" the soil to avoid making it "lumpy" and I feel it did work out well in the end! I feel I didn't shock her much and in her second day she was growing even more as well! Nice! 😍 Next week I'll start feeding Puff with some nutrients but the PPM of the tap water where I live is somewhat high (around 600) and it's electroconductivity is around 1200 us/cm but a lot of growers in here still use it (they just wait for chlorine to evaporate) so I'll try doing the same. I'll use half dose of Biobizz Bio Grow and half dose of another product called Gold Sunshine from Quemanta (which is Cal-Mag with some amino acids) and see how things develop! 😃 I'll try to see if I can make my DSLR take the photos for future timelapses, because my webcam sucks for that job! I 'm using a super soil S.W.A., so any extra nuts has been added just sometimes cannazym and rhyzotonic. Remember that on the left is gorilla fast , right blackberry cake.

She's in cocoa core with perlight at 20% using expert nutrients and Mars hydro ts3000 pH at 5.8 can't wait to see how she will tern out . This video was taken just before the chop. It took me forever to cut the first branch __she seemed too pretty to touch with scissors. Feelings aside now. Time slipped again and it turned out to be her 9th week. Trichome checks were tricky because of the side lighting, often too close to the plant, so they were not consistently filling up__mea culpa. If I only had more space… & had not damaged the main stem… As for patching up the broken stem, I am not sure it was a great idea. She grew OK, but the stem at the patch spot looked like it had maybe 40% living tissue left. BAK__ more in a jiff.👽

This girl drinks a lot of water but I know it’s because of a tall structure and probably massive root base. She is going to be fire, the legendary purple haze.
